Went to the Diamond Center of NY to help my son make an important purchase, after my husband bought me a gorgeous ring to celebrate a big birthday. It was one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had. Issac was as nice, kind and knowledgeable a business man I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Their selection was very impressive and he took a great deal of time and care to make sure my future D-I-L would be thrilled, (she was). The other bonus, is the fact that they can size, re-set and appraise your purchase right on their premises. I would highly recommend using DCNY for any jewelry shopping you may be considering. Do not go to this place. I bought an engagement ring from here back in September of 2020. 6 months later in March of 2021, one of the accent diamonds fell out of the ring. When my fiance and I went to a different store to get it looked at, we discovered that all of the prongs for the ring were completely worn out, there were multiple cracks in the ring, and the main diamond (which is my grandmothers diamond) had fallen in the setting and could have also potentially fallen out. Im completely disappointed because now Im going to have to spend as much as I did initially to replace the ring.

I made a few small purchases in the past at Diamond Center of NY in Westbury, which I would categorize as good encounters. However, my recent experience was less than positive and disheartening.I decided to purchase a big ticket item as a gift for a special person in my life. Robert reassured me that he and his brother would take care of me if I had any concerns and questions after my purchase. I returned 3 days as I noticed the quality of the diamonds were not as superior as they claimed it to be. My intent was to upgrade to a more luxurious item that I spotted, unfortunately I was met with hostility and denial. I was floored when Robert claimed he didn’t recall how much I spent on the item or even my purchase. To add insult to injury they provided an inflated number for the mandatory restocking fee and was unable to provide documentation to support. What was suppose to be a simple transaction with a trusted jeweler turned into a very frustrating experience as I wasted time, money and as for that special person… was insulted by the brothers. Terrible experience!They claim that they are known as one of the premium jewelers of the world, like many of their promises this is a false statement.If you’re contemplating on a reputable Jeweler with decent customer service, sells high quality diamonds without the inflated price…Diamond Center of NY in Westbury is not the place for you.

My wife is a walking advertisement for them. She loves every piece. Why do I keep going back? They believe in customer loyalty, they have always had a great sense of humor. If you look at the store front you’d think they are high end jewelers but in reality when you step inside get ready to be ripped off on every step of the way.. I gave in my “white gold” chain for a polished clean up, came back 2 hours later to pick it up, they charged me 100$, I had 1 missing link and my white gold chain became yellowish and tarnish as if it was scraped against the concrete... not only did I get ripped off by money but also my $2,000 chain was demolished!!!!!!! Will never step a foot into this store, if it was possible for a 0 star that’s what I’d give !

I purchased a really beautiful Gucci style chain and diamond white gold cross from here for my husband For an engagement gift 6 years ago. He still wears it every single day. It’s in amazing condition ! never faded or had any issues with it. I paid a reasonable price for it and the owners were extremely professional and knowledgeable . A few years later I came back to buy myself a neckless . Again, amazing quality gold and diamonds and not the slightest complaint. Always a really great experience ! This is an updated review with my purchase on an engagement ring for my significant other . They sell very good diamonds and have a reputable background with the collection of diamonds they offer. However, their craftmanship is very poor. I purchased an engagement ring and tried to have it fixed after a minor accident from my fiancee and it kept having problems with the setting. We had to got 3 times and we kept having loose diamonds and other technicalities. The people seemed to not care for us as they received the funds and purchases from me, the consumer. To me this is very unprofessional and unwarranted. I had to fix the ring somewhere else. Do not go there for ring settings or anything significant for your future partner. They claimed they were professionals and can fix it, but diamonds kept falling off from the band and not the halo. Once again, they have no idea what they are doing and their craftmanship is lacking. Lastly, they have very bad customer and professional service. When you need 3 repairs in less than 2 months that is very pathetic to be quite honest.
