This is a great store that carry good variety of mainly Italian products. The butcher shop is amazing! Love the variety of cheeses and pastas. Also have fresh produce and dairy items. Did I mention cookies, pies, and fresh soups? The staff is friendly and helpful too.

I was in heaven as soon as I walked in. They have everything you could want from fresh meat, sauces, seasons, kitchen equipment and the staff is so helpful and friendly. This will defanitely be our new spot. We ordered Christmas prime rib 10.99 a pound.

Never miss a chance to come here when in RI. This is an amazingly clean meat store. A huge selection of fresh meats and other local items like spezzi and soupy. A little hard to find but well worth the trip every time.

The store is great. Directions are bad. Google maps had me turn right on Cottage drive which took me to a dirt road that may have been a service road. Correct directions should have you take a right on Springbrook

The staff are always so friendly and helpful. They really go all in when it comes to the quality of service and food. Everything is reasonably priced and tastes amazing! Westerly Packing will always be one of my favorite places to shop!

Love this place, but BEWARE ordering fresh turkeys ahead of time! Their fresh turkeys are actually sent to the store frozen/partially frozen, and they dont make that clear. When I picked mine up, the outer layer of the breast felt thawed, but the bottom and insides were still frozen. Now I have to finish thawing my turkey which I wasnt expecting to have to do.

Great place for great food. Their soupy is out of this world! I cant say enough about their hamburgers. The pre made burgers are so good I dont bother with any other burgers anymore. Get the 6 oz. burgers they grill up perfectly. So many great products at Westerly Packing!

I have been a customer there since the late 70s when it was Brunos. I make the trip there every month or two to stock up on meat, sausage and cheese. This is by far the finest Italian Butcher Shop/ Deli / grocery store in the RI, Ct area.

The meat is good and they strive to serve you with personal attention. but the best thing about it, is the commercial size products that they carry, they are great quality items at fantastic savings on all of it, if you need commercial size items. I get the best Italian Plum Tomatoes there. Check it out, its worth the trip.

I had heard good things about this place and decided to stop in for an authentic Italian grinder (hero, sub). $75 later I was headed home with the grinder, gnocchi soup, eggplant lasanga, roasted garlic chicken cutlets, freshly baked Italian bread, freshly ground parmesan cheese, roasted red peppers, salad dressing and spices; as well as beef bones for my pups. There were many more Italian delicacies, meats and cheeses that I considered, but I was on my motorcycle and had an hours ride home. Im sure Ill be back.

The meats are first rate, buy the chicken breasts once -and you will be hooked for life! When you want some select steaks for special guests, they cut them -with a smile!The assortment of deli and prepared foods will stop you in your tracks - NEVER COME HERE HUNGRY!!Friendly staff, and a very clean business.

A great meat market with many other Italian specialties

Visited for the first time yesterday on the recommendation of a friend and wasnt disappointed! I picked up some 2 thick NY Strip steaks that they cut for me on the spot. The meat was fantastic and extremely delicious. Everyone there was friendly and helpful, from the butcher, counter staff, cashiers, etc. They have a huge selection of meats, both fresh and frozen, as well as a lot of seafood. They also have a FANTASTIC selection of spices at great prices.The store is spacious and well laid out and full of stuff that will make you very hungry. I will certainly be a regular customer from this point forward. If you question making the drive out there, let me just say its well worth the trip. If youre having a BBQ or just making a nice dinner, this is a one-stop shop to get everything you need.

However, ordered a grinder, and as much as the products used to make it were superb, I cannot understand why so much salt and high vinegar content!, actually ruined what would have been Awesome lunch. Good prices on most things. Everything is fresh, deli meat is good, soupy tastes real, and the meat is all good cuts. Glad to have this local to me.Update (many years later) - The sandwiches are great too, they have more imported pasta, and a bit more produce than before as well. Still love this place, my friends lovingly nicknamed it the Westerly Meat Mansion after the expansion.

Love this place!

Westerly packing is a traditional grocer. There is a deli, a butcher, fresh produce, and breads. The meat is excellent quality at a good price. Soupy (traditional italian hard sausage) is made and sold here. They also have wine making supplies, and a section for resturant supplies and bulk foods at wholesale prices. Highly recommended for cookout/party food purchases, all your deli and butcher needs, and quick stops for staple foods.

This place is off the beaten path but worth seeking out. They have lots of imported Italian goods such as San Marzano tomatoes, imported parmesan and Romano cheese, the best soupy (in four different levels of hotness )that Ive ever had. Their meatball mix is better than my own and there is a nice selection of beef and pork, ground, steaks and chops. I drive here from CT.

If you like meat like I like meat this is the place to get your meat.They have raw meat, and cooked meat. WPC has dried, cured meat and moist tender meat. They have sliced meat and ground meat. WPC has cow, fowl, pig and goose meat. Meat, meat, meat... Time to eat some meat.Oh yeah, they have non-meat stuff too. A lot of stuff to season your meat and stuff to eat with your meat.
