Nice staff, real nice selection. Probably the best nursery Ive visited in NJ so far.

The plants are so beautiful and the Customer Service is beyond reproach. If you are a beginner house parent (like Me 🌱)or a seasoned one...visit this establishment. I was so impressed with the patience and knowledge and skill of their team. Just look at our new addition. All different succulents. Look at that cute one on the left...a I am OBSESSED! Thank Yall.

They offer lots of options and outdoor decor to beautify your property no matter what size. If you have a landscaper, you can come here to note things you like. During the covid crisis when a lot of parks and arboretums were closed, I brought my kids here (masks on) to see some flowers and koi fish.NOTES/TIPS:**Parking in the front**Across from Echo Lake Park**Must maintain social distancing and wear a mask. I know they already have all the good reviews but I am writing another because the experience is really just that different from other nurseries in the area.Yes, good selection of plants, tools, decoration etc. and reasonable prices which would def be good enough for meBUTAs a young Black woman going into local nurseries I am frequently ignored until I see and approach someone directly for help (this is true of many stores, but particularly true of nurseries). In 6 or so visits to Williams in the past 2 years, without fail, I have been approached for whether I need assistance more than once by friendly, well informed and helpful staff.When you feel seen and valued as a customer that is the kind of shopping experience you want to go back to.

Excellent selection of hard to find and popular houseplants. Prices on the high side, so fair value for the trendy plants and over the top for basics like pothos. Prices significantly higher for anything in a hanging basket vs the same thing in a nursery pot. Great staff. Gorgeous monstera.

Went today and had a great experience. Really helpful and knowledgeable staff. The first person I spoke to walked me around to two other staff members until I had the best answer to my question. The facility is beautiful and all of the plants seems to be of a very high quality. This is definitely my new go to shop for anything garden related!

What a magical place for every season, the smell of Christmas its everywhere on the place, the gift shop its very organized and the items are unique. God bless this beautiful place fun for every age👍. Merry Christmas 🎄🎄

I really used to love williams nursery but my experience today had really upset me. I made an online order for a hoya sunrise which I paid $65 for. I drove an hour and a half to pick up my plant. Wow it looked nothing like what I was supposed to receive. The plant is miniature... The plant I was supposed to receive had at least three long trailing stems. This plant had 0... It also looks like they chopped off parts of my plant to profit even more off of it. I am really upset with my plant and my experience here today. I used to love this place but the prices continue to go up and the plants continue to get smaller. I think you should be pricing your plants appropriately. I saw someone walk away with a beautiful hoya sunrise, and I got a dinky little plant. The picture on the left is what I was supposed to receive, the pictures on the right are what I got..

Love this nursery. This is the first nursery I’ve visited. So far I’ve been to this nursery twice. The staff is attentive and patient. I don’t know anything about plant so this is a new journey for me. I have dealt with Israel. He is great.

Though Ive been gifted many plants from Williams Nursery (succulents, string of dolphins, air plants, and more) I had never physically visited myself until today. Its just a far enough drive to have kept me away, haha.The reason for my visit today was that I bought tickets and attended the nurserys first ever plant swap event and it was really a lot of fun. My husband and I brought nine plants and traded with others offerings.At the end, there was a raffle that I won two prizes; one of which got me a plant that I had been seeking after (triostar stromanthe).This plant nursery offers a lot of different species of plants, especially the more rare Instagram famous kinds like the whale fin and different kinds of monstera. If you are looking for things beyond what you can get at a Home Depot or Lowes then this is definitely the place to go. Ive even heard of a friend requesting something that they didnt carry and when it came in, the nursery owner, Dave, reached out to him to let him know. I am seriously really impressed with the variety of offerings that this nursery has. This year they are celebrating 100 years of its opening; how incredible!The staff here are so, so friendly and helpful. They all genuinely have a love for plants. The event was to get fellow plant lovers together and share information and of course gain a new plant baby or two. Ill definitely be coming back!

When asked about houseplants, friendly staff shared their own relationship with a number of plants they recommended.This was very nice to see. The selection was large and we checked out smoothly.While it was a busy day for families selecting pumpkins and the parking lot was full, we easily found a spot. Restrictions were respected in light of COVID-19. And there was more than enough room to spread out.PS-- Im well traveled and the port-a-potty was the nicest Ive seen. :P

Very nice nursery. Even at this time of year they had a good variety of plants available. Many workers on site to answer questions. Reasonable prices. The parking lot was pretty full but there were spots available. I think they are open every day.

Incredibly nice and helpful staff, and amazing selection! I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name but he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, definitely made the experience 10x better. I picked up a ludisia discolor and philodendron micans, both for excellent prices. will definitely be going back!

Great selection of healthy and beautiful plants but a bit pricey

I love this place so much. I got really into house plants during the pandemic, and went into Williams to check their selection. I was completely blown away by what they have - I keep going back for more! The quality of all my plants from there has been amazing, very fairly priced, and the staff is always friendly and helpful, willing to answer my questions about both indoor and outdoor plants. I even have friends and family out of state that have asked me to buy them plants from Williams, because they sell so many unique and popular plants that are hard to find at other nurseries. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and the happiness it has brought me in such a strange time!

Ive had several great experiences here recently. Just starting out gardening and growing herbs, and the staff has been great (and patient!) with my many questions. Selection is amazing as well. I made the mistake of trying another (unnamed) nursery recently, and it just underscored how well-run Williams is.

Such a nice place. It was very well organized and welcoming. The people are knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone followed Covid guidelines and respected eachothers space. Ill definitely be visiting again and telling others to go!

If you love house plants, this is the place to go. Ive been to many garden centers and Williams nursery has been the only place that has all the rare, cool, popular house plants. The prices are very affordable and the plants are high quality. Its my new go-to spot, I promise it will be worth visiting

No price on any small garden plants ... I payed $64 for 10 piece of 2 inches pepper plants .... I left 10% tips for kids... Because they need to earn some cash on their minimal wage .... Never go back ...

Worked with the wonderful Linda today in the perennial department for about an hour or more laying out a new planting bed - Im so thankful for her knowledge and eye for arrangement! My front yard is looking nicer than it has in a long time.

You get what you pay for! Some items may be pricey but they are the best quality plants, trees, shrubs around. I have never had an issue and I have been coming here with my family for over 15 years. The workers are all very knowledgeable and are happy to help and give advice.

I went to the Nursery on Sunday and as I left the parking lot I got a flat tire. After struggling a bit with the best way to change the flat Mr. Williams crossed the street and helped me move my car back to their parking lot so we could change the tire in safety. It was a hot day but Mr. Williams helped my husband change the tire. We really appreciated this above-and-beyond helping hand.A Big Thank You!(We did buy a few plants and they are doing nicely in our garden and the staff were very helpful.)

We’re new to the area and bought our very first Christmas tree at our new home 2-3 weeks ago. It was a pleasant experience, but after spending $120 on a 6ft frasier fur (my fam and friends called us nuts for that price), our tree NEVER “drank” any water and the tree is already dead just before Christmas ☹️😩 we are so upset since we only get one 1st Christmas. We will not be going back next year this made us really upset.

Ive never not been disappointed with my experience at Williams Nursery. Today was no different! I have had a cactus plant I bought from Lowes about 7 years ago now. So I took her into Williams today after calling about the possibility of her having a fungal infection. Right away I was being helped they were amazed how long Id kept my cactus plant living! Turns out the one I thought had a fungal infection just had left over glue from Lowes glueing a flower on the plant itself (crazy). So once wed gotten that sorted the guy helping me; Izzy took me over to the succulents & cacti plant to build a beautiful cactus garden to feature my other 2 I brought in. In the end, I now have an absolutely gorgeous cactus garden thats now ready to thrive for years! Thank you so much for bringing life back to my beautiful babies and giving them some new friends to thrive with! You guys truly are the best! See the images section to see the results!

Ive been going to Williams for everything ever since we bought our first house in 1978! All of their stock is vigorous and healthy, and they have every plant or shrub you could think of. The staff is very helpful as well. I brought a picture of my front yard, and they helped me design a beautiful landscape.

I called to see if they had black mulch and top soil yes they told me 15 minutes no top soil.... pay for black mulch .... go outside to load no black mulch .... car ahead of me took .... lots of people working I mean sitting around and talking amongst themselves never coming back

I drive 35min to shop here. They have a large selection of healthy, indoor and outdoor plants. They’re selection of succulents is also quite substantial. All in beautiful condition.
