Just purchased my first Ford and had a great experience with the DCH Ford of TO team. Thanks to Adam and Matthew helping me keep my order on track. Also thanks to Sean and Chuck in the back office for all your help completing my purchase. Im a very happy local customer and plan on going back there for maintenance servicing on my new Ford.
I had a tentative deal for a new Expedition Max at a competing dealership closer to home. I happened upon a better equipped vehicle at DCH Ford. After confirming that the SUV was still available for sale, I decided to make the 1.5 hr. drive to see it in person.Ill admit that after reading some online reviews for DCH Ford I was apprehensive. I didnt know quite what to expect. My sales team of Ismael and Marvin were great. The SUV was exactly what I wanted and after some negotiating, I felt the deal was fair and signed the paperwork. I really cant say anything bad about this dealer. I had a good experience and would be a repeat customer. Glad it all worked out for the best.
We loved the service we went in looking for two Specific cars the Ford bronco Outer Banks in color Area 51 and a Ford flex. We found both there on the lot and the customer service was above and beyond. They helped us through every step of the way.
I was working with Victor he was very pushy on getting me in the dealer. I told him already have my financing approved this is my offer for the vehicle that I want and I can make the deal over the phone and financing completed ASAP via my credit union. He said he would present my offer to management and call me back. Three days later still no call back.
We just got our Ford explorer from DCH, like always absolutely thee best service ever!We walked in immediately greeted by the managers and sales men Randy. We had been to other dealerships and would try to sale us out to a model we did not want nor interested in. At DCH we were not being constantly told about other models. Walked in told them what I wanted and asked if they had something close to what we were interested in, and indeed did have it. I was told by a friend to buy from DCH due to their friendliness and not trying to sale other vehicles to you. They have all had great experience and now I can say I have as well had a great time car shopping. . Plus they saw my husbands military (Marines) hat and added an additional military discount for us without us asking. ( to all my veterans and active military members dont think about it, this is a great place) I dont understand how other reviews can be so negative. I am happy and for those shopping around dont second think it. Youll be happy and they work with you for a great price like they did with us.
I had been searching for a particular Ford model, which had been in scarce supply due to the global ‘chip’ crisis, or logistical challenge companies are facing. The salesperson I worked with, Victor Martinez, was always and at all times helpful in keeping me updated on vehicles and availability, as well as a sterling level of service and responsiveness upon receiving the vehicle i sought. Ultimately, Victor worked with my wife and I so well, that I was eased through the deal and have only excellent things to say! I am thrilled that I have bought the vehicle, and that I dealt with DCH Ford. Incidentally, other dealerships I spoke with would not budge off of the ‘premium’ cost to buy their vehicles, albeit that the dealership makes their profit, and all commissions at MSRP. DCH we’re professional enough to realize that we were real buyers, and they did everything they could to earn our business. We’ll done Victor, and DCH!!
Very impressed by this dealership. Sales people were not jumping all over each other to get a sale. The man I spoke to on the phone, Randy Lee, handled my sale the whole way through. Everyone there was pleasant and went above and beyond to make sure I left satisfied. The best buying experience Ive ever had. Highly recommend! 👌🏽
Hugo Hernandez Thank You Very Much For Great Service and Making Sure Everything was on Point for My Deal To Go thru. Also I want to Thank Samir and Nick for making it Happen. You Guys were Very Professional, Helpful and Patient. Im Grateful For My Truck and its all because of You Guys...🙏🙏🙏
Took my Ford Mustang for electrical issues along with back up camera issues. They really took care of me, even tho I was out of bumper to bumper coverage they still help me with the back up camera and fixed my electrical issues within a few days something all fords in the area said couldn’t do or see it for weeks. Very happy I took it to these guys and great work done to my pony!
I went in there just trying to test drive a vehicle that interested me but I ended up leaving as a proud owner instead with a good deal. Thanks to Hugo who helped me through the entire process. Quick, easy, and smooth process.
The salesman helping me was actually nice and knowledgeable. But they had a car I wanted marked up 1600 dollars for a “optional” clear tape thing around the door handles.Anyways the salesman had me talk to his sales manager about adjusting the price a bit. The sales manager was completely disconnected during our conversation, extremely short and was acting like I was wasting his time. He literally walked away mid conversation. At which point the salesman told me not to take it personally. That he was stressed because he was waiting for delivery of his new Ford bronco. Which I thought was extremely ridiculous. Whatever kind of “manager” that can’t separate his personal problems from his work is ridiculous.I will not be returning to this dealership ever again.
Excellent experience! Who likes to go in for auto repairs, but these people are so friendly and efficient. Fast service, excellent results. Ill be back.
I have to agree with another recent review mentioned the Sales Manager, Amirs unpleasant demeanor. . My experience with the sales team (salespeople) would be rated excellent, Amirs attitude was adversarial and almost bully like to me as a customer. Its not great to speak down to anyone, but customers who literally support your dealership and fund your paycheck, you are rude too???? It concerns me when companies continue to employ and send paychecks to people in customer service position who dont love dealing with people. Simply apply for a position where you are in a back office and dont have to see or deal with customers - We didnt choose your dealership for your attitude and this is EXACTLY why the direct to consumer business model is at an all time high. I came within seconds of shredding the sales contract in front of Amirs face and walking out of that dealership. ZERO chance of me every taking a single step in DCH again.
Amir the sales manager is incredibly rude. I cant believe in todays market that a sales manager would hang up on a customer who is willing to buy a car on the spot. Incredibly unprofessional and poor business practice. Glad to take my business elsewhere
Made a 3 hour drive and felt good when I got there, service was friendly, you won’t get a stiff arm when trying to negotiate. Even though I didn’t leave with a car that I wanted I would come back!
Test drove a pre-owned vehicle. The vehicle pulled hard to the left and the tires tread were passed the wear depth for replacement. I asked our sales person about replacing the tires. He spoke with the sales manage and then came back to us and said the sales manager said for our college daughter who the vehicle is for to dont take your hand off the wheel and use both hands.. We were waiting for the sales person to stay yes they would replace both but no. He said it falls under the safe category, which it clearly didnt. This dealership is a joke. They are willing to compromise safety then spending a few dollars to fix the issue. Dont buy from them if you want your loved one to be safe in a pre-owned vehicle
Best dealership and service Dept. Best GM Adam Churchick and best service guy JR.
My mom has been a customer of Kemp and then DCH Ford for almost 30 years. She leased 3 different Contours and purchased the 3rd. She then traded that in to purchase a Fusion which she has had for 11 years. She has spent thousands with them thru leasing, her purchases and of course the service department. Her Fusion broke down and repairs were more than the car was worth so I talked her in to buying a new car. Family and friends pressured her to go with an Accord but I pushed her to stick with Ford expecting service and a deal she deserves for being such a long time customer.Well, no such luck..,After 2 hours of looking at vehicles, we decided on a 2020 Fusion. We discussed the price listed on the sticker and we were told there were multiple rebates that would bring us down to a price that was in our budget. We started the negotiating process with that. The first offer Jerry, our salesman, showed us had a massive price increase from what was on the sticker which was almost as much as the rebates they told us we could get. He told me this was a chip shortage fee. I was floored. I understand there is less inventory out there because of this chip shortage but it didnt make this car, or any car for that matter any more expensive. It just gives the dealers a reason to up their prices to make more money.Their second offer reduced the chip shortage fee by 60%, even after I told him I wont go any higher than the price shown on the sticker. He wanted to string us along for a third offer but they couldnt do any less is what he said so we walked out. What a waste of time.DCH Ford would prefer to cash in on a vehicle shortage than reward a long time customer with a deal. They lost a long time customer and dont even care. The reason for two stars is only because of JR in the service department, otherwise the sales department is a one star.Oh and Ill be calling on the BBB to explain this companies bait and switch tactics.Stay away from this dealer.
DONT GO HERE !!! The sales supervisor Matt needs a serious managerial skills training. NO MANNERS. RUDE. ARROGANT. UNPROFESIONAL. HATE HIS LIFE AND JOB!!! Facts !! I called about a truck, have the money for it. Ready to buy it right now and Mr. Matt the sales supervisor just ruined the sale! I wish I wouldnt met somebody who could sell --- they wouldve just sold a truck ~
I called about a vehicle I was interested in, I spoke to Victor Martinez which he informed me the vehicle was already sold. A few minutes later I received a text informing me the vehicle was still available I was so excited and called Victor back to make sure they still had it he said he would double check and return my call, it’s been over 5 hours now and nothing! Since he’s not making a sale off me he can care less to let me know if the vehicle is available. Out of courtesy and respect you should return calls. Or at least don’t say you will!
I received a parking ticket for my car AFTER I sold it to DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks and have been trying for MONTHS for someone to assist me with this. All I need is for someone to email me my release of liability and the many people that Ive spoken to have all left me hanging...pictured is some of the many people at this location that I’ve attempted to contact since April without any response.EDIT- I receive a response to contact Matthew Kelleher personally and spend yet another week calling and going to voicemails and having all of those voicemails go unanswered. This place is wildly unprofessional and I can’t emphasize enough to take your business elsewhere
I was working with sales man Jerry. I was interested in a 2015 Volkswagen Passat they had in inventory. Jerry told me the car was going through inspection and would be notified when the car was ready for a test drive.I was never given the opportunity to see and purchase the vehicle. This dealer obviously does not honor there word. Go to another dealer with your hard earned money.
This has been mentioned before in reviews, but I feel like it needs to be emphasized again. They take a high price and then knock it down to what the manager calls a great price to bring people in. Then then slap on a cheap strip of plastic on each door and jack up the price by $599.99 they say its to protect the doors, but they also said it was so they could make a profit. This Assembly Fee almost returns it to the original higher price. They dont negotiate on this either. Dont be tricked if they tell you that its a great price, its just ok.
My husband and I had our best sales experience buying a car at this dealership. Jerry was our salesman. He was amazing. He understands customers wants and needs. He was never pushy. Very confident and knowledgeable. I would recommend anyone who wants a salesman who is not pushy and listens, ASK for Jerry. Jerry fought for the car we wanted. And now my husband and I also the kids are extremely happy. I hope Ford gives Jerry a great promotion. Its well deserved.
I contacted them a few times through chat and email to request more pictures of vehicles since their post just has 4. Received about 10 emails from them in more than a week and they just sent me Google pictures :))) .Sale man show their job not professional when vehicle i asked is Titanium Model with full load and their send me the Picture of SE Model, different color also.
The kind of place that gives car dealerships a bad name. After refusing to fix a broken glove box, on a car that was listed at 30% over blue book value, they decided they could take advantage of my 18 year old daughters lack of car buying experience. They came back with a previously unmentioned additional $1600 in bogus charges. The salesman, Hugo mentioned multiple times he wanted to be transparent, a sure sign that someones not being transparent. My advice is to steer clear of Ford of Thousand Oaks
I should have read these reviews first before I just wasted 2 1/2 hrs at this dealer. I can personally vouch for almost all of the comments stated in the bad reviews because I just witnessed first hand almost verbatim what everyone said. Crazy, with so many cars out there and so many dealers and online offers, one would think this company would hire staff that truly know what customer service and decency is. While the sales person that took us for a test ride was new and decent - another salesman there was unbelievably rude and crude. If you value your time and value being respected - just go somewhere else.Just my two cents..................
One of the great wonders of the world. Believed to be an abyssal realm where demons spawn and bad gupta collects. Definitely an amazing sight to see!Prepare for a fun time, especially if you’re going in for REPAIRS!! Always overpriced, only by about 2x.They tried charging me 500$ for replacing a headlight ... Went to pep boys it cost 100$ bulb+replacement. What a joke!!!Go to pep boys for gods sake save your money.
I contacted this dealership looking for a used truck and requested a salesman that could handle learning disabled. I was immediately ignored. They would not return my phone calls nor texts. Even though they had just requested permission from me to text. I warn all disabled to stay way from this place.update: A few weeks after requesting an accommodation for a learning condition I get this email. Our goal at DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks is to provide you with the best automobile purchasing and service experience available. I have made every effort to deliver the information that you requested so that you can make an informed decision. At this time, I am waiting for additional input from you as to what our next step should be. If you have already made a purchasing decision on another vehicle, please let me know and I will note our customer database. If you are still researching your purchase and need some additional information, please shoot me an email or give me a call. I will help provide you with what you need to make your final decision.MY response: Hi Randall, Are you kidding? I requested info on a vehicle that you advertised and you told me it was not for sale yet even though it was advertised. I asked for a salesman that could work with a learning disability and I was completely ignored. I went elsewhere and spent my money. So thanks for being so concerned about me no longer wasting your time! You are free to take me off your list
I decided to try a car from US manufacturer for the first time. I asked about a car in their inventory and the rep said he would get back to me. But I never heard back. I dont think they are enthusiastic enough. I called Galpin Ford, and got a good response and follow up. So I decided to go with them.
This place has nice cars but the staff could care less about your purchasing experience. Currently own three cars and have bought several others from surrounding car dealers. This has been the worst company to deal with and I have been here several times with the same experience.Shop at shaver and ask for John
Whats the deal with my location for the almighty Google. My browser shows me in San Bernardino instead of Moorpark CA
Bought a brand new car here. Nothing but issues. They won’t even provide a loaner car when fixing mine... need two weeks to make an appointment for a service. But the worst part is the service itself. They don’t give an ounce of care about you or your situation and brush you off like dust. Never coming back here again.
Ulises Ramos was helping us test drive a potential brand new Mach E electric car. He was really knowledgeable and has good etiquette. The dealership has a good selection of hard to find cars like GT 500s and Mustang Mach.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Car dealerships have a bad reputation. Even with such shockingly low standards, DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks manages to be worst of the lot. On 7/12 (Sunday), DCH reaches out to me offering the car I want at MSRP (it’s in high demand). I live in Orange County. After agreeing to purchase the car at 4 pm (which is a 65th gift for my dad), I offer to put down the deposit but DCH says they do not accept deposits to hold cars. Odd but okay. I then offer to wire the entire purchase price and they still said no. I get it – companies have policies – even as strange as not willing to accept a nonrefundable deposit or the entire amount for a car. The next day (Monday) I work with the sales representative who informs me that they will, in fact, honor the price. Mind you – at this point he could have said the offer is no longer on the table. But he did not. Between 10 and 4 pm, I am in constant contact with the representative and spent hours rearranging my work schedule, arranging child care, and submitting my information (drivers license, insurance, and credit application). I get on the 405 to drive 100+ miles and am on my way to TO when I get a cold call from the representative who then puts the manager – Raul Altorre – on the phone. Raul informs me that DCH will not honor the price but that I can still purchase the car if I pay $5,000 more. No apology. No explanation. No remorse. Just a good ol’ fashioned shake down. He did say he is following orders which means the decision came from the upper management. My advice: do not buy from them. Period. Do not waste your time with a business who will dishonor their commitments to increase their bottom line. Buyer Beware.
Poor excuse for a Ford dealership. Dirty and run down.
We were on the lot for a while we found the car we wanted to test drive finally Ken Fromberg appeared, he was a warm and friendly presence that is refreshing at a car dealership.Having just bought another car at a different dealership with a superior experience Ken had his work cut out for him. he took us for a test drive and was very knowable about the car and the warranty. When we walked around the car again and noticed a crease in one of the doors I pointed it out to Ken and with out hesitation he said no problem we will take care of that it should not have gone on the lot like that in the first place. We went inside and after a bit of haggling back and forth we struck a deal. The entire staff was very nice and courteous to us the fiance manager was very friendly too.I left the car there to be repaired and they did a great job and returned it to me at the time they said it would be done.good time ahead. Thanks Ken and DCH Ford!
Management is terrible. If you can go to Simi Valley Ford dealer I would recommend over this dealership. Better staff and competent management.
Part guys are great, Super helpful.
Awesome customer service, friendly and fast service!! I ALWAYS go here to take care of my ford :)
Customer service guy Israel was a pleasure to deal with. Great service department. Very efficient and competent.
HORRIBLE Customer Service!!! --- First off, I was given the run around from the office. As soon as I got pre-approved for financing, I received and text from their office and I texted and emailed back. I got no reponse from them, so I called and explained that I had been trying to get a hold of someone to ask about a vehicle. And I was tranfered to someone named Amir. I left Amir a voicemail, but then I called back to see if I can talk to someone else. But, I got Amir instead. Not only did I feel ignored at this point, but he answered the phone like inconvenienced teenager who didnt care about his customers. So, after all this run-around, I was told that this vehicle is actually IN TRANSIT and not even on the lot after I was told that it was there in the beginning. That was a waste of time and aggravating. You really really need to work on your customer service etiquet and accuracy!
They do spot delivery here, if you dont know what that means look it up and dont buy your car here.
Dylan Barbera was great to work with
I decided to buy a new truck. Having always been a big Ford fan I decided to get either a Ford or a Toyota pickup. I went into the show room of Ford of T.O. There were three employees in the show room. Not only did none of them speak to me, they did not even acknowledge my presence. I waited 5 minutes, then left and purchased a Toyota.
I took my Escape in for an oil change and some general maintenance. They found that a rodent had caused some damage inside and it would need to be taken back in later to fix after a part came in. I took my Escape back to DCH Ford of TO and it took 2 entire days for them to replace the part and flush the break system. I was already frustrated by how long it took, but they communicated along the way, so I was happy to pick up my car and for this chapter to be over.Over the next week my email was bombarded with requests from Ford to fill out a survey. Finally, I did fill out the survey because I was so sick of getting a new email every day after my frustrating experience and I told them to leave me alone.Someone from DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks CALLED me about my survey. This person was VERY rude to me over the phone and told me to never come to the store again. Apparently email surveys are enough to have someone call and yell at you. BEWARE.
Good luck getting any kind of customer service from these folks. Ive tried contacting them for a service, left 3 voicemail messages over 3 days because nobody picks up the phone when you call and you have no choice but to leave them a voicemail, but they NEVER call back.I wonder what Ford Corporate would think of this treatment by their franchisee? Or the BAR?
Not a good experience, if you by a car over there, I bought a used car, the charge you for some doors protection, with out giving you the option, to say yes, around $650.00, it took about 3 hr for a cash dill, at the time, the have only one person in finance, after I left, I found that I am missing the front plate number, I called the next day, spoke to the sealsman Victor Martinez, in regards to the plate number, he says I will call you back, until now, never heard from him, my experience and my filling with the DCH diller, that the things they are the only diller that sales cars
Everyone at this dealership is awesome! Alex gave a great introduction to all the vehicles and really opened my eyes to Ford engineering.Jerry Navarrette was incredibly knowledgeable and sold me on my new Ford Ranger. Because he worked in the service department prior to sales, he was able to answer every question I threw from him. He literally knew every aspect of the car which is pretty rare to find nowadays. Then during the financing stage, both Jerry and Mark Viggiavao (finance manager) were very patient and answered any questions I had for them, even if they had already answered the question beforehand.I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new car. These guys are professional, helpful, and transparent!
Terrible customer service. Made a trip there for them to Tel me first they couldn’t find the key, second a manger wasn’t there to sell the van, and when I returned the next day they said they sold it to someone else.
The representatives made it happen for me. Amir brought out the gloves and fought for my business. Must visit this place and plus they had more inventory than my home town.
Terrible service. Sales people don’t return multiple calls. Once we made a deal the paperwork takes too long. We’ve been here an hour & there’s no way to know how much more time this will take.
Worst dealership ever. Made an appointment the day before to view a car. Confirmed with Matt I believe his name was for 10am the next day. I drove an hour and a half over there to see the car. Matt wasn’t even there another sales person said oh that car was sold the night before. Great waste of time and horrible customer service.
WARNING!!! Super shady place, only come here if you want to get took.Manager Matt who runs the place is a incompetent rude hustler. Expect to get discriminated against coming here. Had down payment and pre-approved loan and still was treated like a second class citizen. Worst dealer ever!!!
Today I found out that an air filter that should have been replaced (or at least checked) when I brought my car in for routine service/oil change was so filthy that it was causing my car to lag and lose power. I called to ask what should have been included in my oil change servicing and was told -- before I conveyed why I wanted to know -- that since I was a new customer I wasnt offered the full array of options for a service. Thats an interesting way to treat new customers. Apparently since my car had 160,000 miles on it, they didnt think Id be interested in finding out if anything like a filter might need replacing. Ill stick with Simi Valley Ford. Theyre more thorough, at least in my experience over the past ten years.
This dealership is horrible. I came in to purchase a vehicle at the advertised price. I had my own financing through my credit union. They said I could only purchase if I used them as a lender that was TWICE the interest of my credit union. Super shady.
If you are looking for parts go to John in parts department. He always helps me out getting the parts and accessories I need. Super knowledgeable about Ford products. He’s the best reason to go to this dealership. Thanks John.
Great staff and general manager. Very helpful, knowledge, and considerate with my time. Great selection. I would highly recommend getting your next Ford here! We love our new truck!
Took care of business. Had a rental loaner vehicle while my transmission was repaired under warranty. It was repaired fast and the job was complete. Ally and the trans. Tech. Are the best!
Less than one star for personal experience with this dealership. Drive two hours to see a used truck. Confirmed with salesmen, had an appointment and everything. I actually showed up 45 minutes after receiving my appointment confirmation. I get there and they tell me its sold. Total waste of time. Its unfortunate that they treat potential customers this way.
Contacted Noah about a c63s was told you fill out the financial application and he would send me the final price with shipping and taxes the next day so I did. Provided all of my private information then heard nothing for for 3 days. When I finally did hear from the dealership the car was sold. They offered me a car with 2x the miles. Joke of a dealership don’t waste your time if your out of state.
Read all reviews and avoid this place.
Worst customer service and lack of communication when applying for a vehicle.
Bought my explorer here. I tend to hate car dealers/dealerships, but this one isnt bad. My last purchase was pretty smooth and easy - sales manager was pretty easy to work with and I think he appreciated my directness which made the sale pretty quick and easy for both parties. Ive had a couple of service dept. issues over the years, but theyve always been addressed right away and to my satisfaction.
Excellent service and very informative on the condition of my car after the service. Definitely will be back
Good helpful people!
Tried to charge my friend $500 for a headlight change when the bulb was priced at $28 & Labor at $58. Smh
The service department at DCH Ford is spectacular. Keir and the rest of the team have always been on the top of their game with setting up services and helping me maintain my truck.
Stay Away You Will Get Ripped Off !!! This Dealer is the worst and has salesmen that lie, deceive, humiliate, and should not be wearing a suit to work. These so called sales men are playing with our time and money. Russ, CJ, Victor, Ismael, Matt Keller just to name a few have ran my credit several times offering to get me financed over a week straight. and after waiting they could not even call me back or give me any updates or at least to sincerely apologize for what they did..after a week of waiting and dealing with the salesmen....i look online the car I wanted has been sold.
First they sent me a letter in the mail quoting a great price on oil change and service so I call up to book an appointment checking the price is the same and he says it is just a extra couple dollars for any extra oil, so I get there an after my service is done they charge me considerably more than the quoted price I got over the phone, they say there is no promo like this that they know of and say there is nothing they can do! I should of known better than to trust a dealership make sure you keep checking what they are charging you because they just do what they like! Will not be returning for any future services or repairs!
The worst dealer for customer service. Not a very welcoming atmosphere. A salesman who was not part of our exchange could be heard bad mouthing us to another sales rep for arriving 40 mins before closing. Here is what he said verbatim. You know I going to write a book about dealership etiquette. Its going to be for customers and its going to state that you are not supposed to arrive at a dealership 1 1/2 hours before closing. When we heard this we decided that we werent coming back. We had gone in to check out a used 350 and trade in a GT500. In the end went to Vista Ford and got a new 350R. I dont know if this type of behavior is acceptable for corporate, but its definitely not for me. Avoid this place at all cost. You go in to give them your business, you shouldnt have to deal with attitude and rudeness.
I have been disappointed with my last two Ford vehicles due to expensive repairs. My latest 2014 Ford Escape with only 50k miles the power steering gave out costed 2000.00 to fix it. My Ford Edge the water pump needed replacement and also 2000.00. When my service rep told me it was going to cost 2000.00 to fix the power steering on my escape of course I was disappointed again.I just want to thank JR my service rep. for listening to me and specially my wife and being so Calm and understanding. The bottom line is that the cars have to get fixed so don’t take it out on your service reps. It’s not their fault. Thank you JR because of you I will definitely bring my Ford vehicles for service again at DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks.
After being to a few dealerships my husband and I bought our car here with James, he was so friendly right from the beginning! Had patience and answered any and all of our questions which I appreciated since it was our first time purchasing a car. Highly recommend him! He was great and not pushy at all like we had experienced other places. And when it was time for paper work and finance we saw Mark who was equally as kind and funny! I love this dealership and would recommend it to anyone in need of a new car!
Adam, help us purchase a truck! It was a very easy and pain free experience. He was up front and fair. Easiest purchase we’ve ever made. The paperwork only took about 20 min.
I came to purchase a used car and met with Sam and Butch. They both had great personality and help me with the price I wanted to be. They made my experience enjoyable, it was easy in and out of the dealership. I wish car buying was this easy. Thanks again. I would highly recommend to visit the dealership.
Transmission blew on our Ford Explorer. Ford had it for about a month which was not an issue at all. But when I picked up the vehicle it looked like it had not been touched with any type of cleaning product. Even a run through a quick car wash or ANYTHING. Not to mention were going through a pandemic. Needless to say we wont be going back here.
Thank you again with my recent NEW car purchase. Chuck and Joseph made the process super easy as car buying should be! I highly recommend using them in the future.
Awful. Called the service dept and spoke with JR- he was extremely rude. I was trying to schedule a service appt and he made it extremely difficult and also talked down to me. I promptly cancelled this service appt and scheduled with Galpin Ford in Woodland Hills instead. F*ck you JR! I also was going to buy a new vehicle this year, which I will now NOT be doing at DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks.
I want to express a big thank you to the Internet sales dept in making my car buying experience a wonderful one. Noah, Taylor, and Dan assisted with my purchase as I was not a local buyer; from the Sacramento area.It was the car I wanted and they took the time in making sure all of my requests were fulfilled and honored. I appreciate their level of customer service. Last, I also want to thank Kenneth. He took care of us on the day of the sale.
Pretty solid service. Quick.
I test drove a 2018 Eco Boost Mustang and a 2017 GT. My son came along and we worked with Joe Hill. Ive purchased a number of new cars but rarely have had such a positive experience at a dealership. Joe was professional, courteous and made the experience very positive. Both cars were fantastic and I didnt anticipate it but the choice between the Eco Boost and V8 will be difficult. The two cars are very different in the experience they offer but both are VERY good. If you are shopping for a vehicle I recommend starting with Joe Hill at DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks!
These guys are cons stay away youll just waste your time
Such a long wait. One day 2 hours and a 40 min to sign papers. Had to come back and so far waiting for 1 hour 10 min
Overall, I had an excellent experience with DCH Ford. I live in Sacramento and found a used car on line located at this dealership that caught my eye. Initially I was leery about pursuing a car at such a long distance from my home AND I was concerned after reading some of the on line reviews of the dealership.I am pleased that I put those concern behind me.Over the course of several days researched the vehicle and I made several calls to the dealership. Special thanks to Steven (Sales Team) and Adam (General Manager) for taking time with me and for their can do attitude. Steven walked around the vehicle while on a video call so I could see the vehicle beyond the posted pictures. I was pleased to find that it was a Ford Certified Vehicle. After securing a fair price for the vehicle and I booked a flight. I arrived at the dealership and the transaction occurred as promised. I drove home in an excellent vehicle.
So I place a call to service for an oil change for my F-150 on a Monday. The scheduler tells me that the service department does not perform minor service during the week, and that I will need to wait until Saturday. Then she tells me that the first available appointment is 3 Saturdays out. I work in fairly close proximity to this dealership, so getting service during the week and then picking up at the end of the day used to be convenient. Apparently this is not the case anymore. This dealership went through a rough patch a while back and it seemed like it was on the mend, but this policy blows me away. Perhaps they are heading in the opposite direction once again. You guys do realize that most people buy cars at a specific dealership because of the service, right? You have just GUARANTEED I will not be buying my next vehicle at this dealership. Back to Oxnard it is....I am sure Vista wont reject the business, but it is definitely more inconvenient.Update: 4/12/2018Service manager contacted me, and was able to confirm information provided above. Suitable recompense was provided, and hopefully they were able to correct the problem. Only reason I am giving a 4 is I am waiting to see the consistency of the mitigation. Will update at a later time....
Jason Cruz and the whole team at DCH are amazing.Went in to look at a car and drove off with an amazing vehicle at an amazing price. The whole process took less than 3 hours from the time I set foot on the lot to driving off with my new car. Credit checks and financing were a simple process and they worked well with negotiation and to help fit the payments to my budget. Couldnt be happier.Keep up the good work!
Save yourself some trouble ask for Corey Lee you won’t be disappointed!
Worst experience i ever had i do not recommend any business with them. If could put 0 star i would
Very prompt and polite device. Highly Recommend
Have been going here for over 30 years when it was Kemp Ford. Last five years have been great. They dont try to give you useless services. Use JR he is the guy to go to when you write up your order.
If I had to describe my experience with DCH Ford in one word it would be effortless. I started my experience by asking questions online about a car I had seen on their website. They were very quick to respond and answer all my questions. They worked very well with us and gave us a great deal. I would highly recommend this dealership.
Wandered around the dealership for about half an hour before we decided to hunt someone down. Turns out the entire staff is incompetent due to the fact that they couldn’t find the keys for the only car we came to see, not to mention we drove 2 hours for. After Thing 1 couldn’t help, Thing 2 came out and tried to tell us that the car was being serviced so that’s why they don’t have the keys. If that was the case why was it out on the lot? Overall the service was TERRIBLE and the attitude that they gave was ridiculous. Spend your dollars elsewhere, never coming back.
Timothy Engelhart was great to work with. He listened to exactly what I wanted and he made it happen. He made buying a vehicle super easy and his attitude was excellent. He made sure I understood and had everything I needed. I was very impressed with Tims knowledge regarding the vehicle I purchased. Tim represented himself and this dealership in a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and professional manner. He stayed after hours, not to close the deal, to ensure that I was comfortable and satisfied with my purchase. Tim has reached out ensuring me that if there is anything he can do in the future to be of help that he will be there. Great customer service! Thank you Tim.Brian
Watch out!! They are NOT a full Ford Dealer. I tried to return my leased vehicle to them and they refused. When I spoke with Ford Leasing they confirmed that DCH is not a participating Ford Dealer. Just wonder what would happen if I needed something important like warranty service. BEWARE???
This is honestly the most comfortable and easy purchase Ive ever had. The sales representatives dont force you or make you feel obligated to buy a car by pressuring you just to get a sale like most other Dealerships Ive visited. I will definitely recommend DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks. My sales representative was Jesus Santiago. Just ask for him and you will be treated with the most calm and knowledgeable sales representative. Thanks a lot guy. I will continue to recommend you to all my friends and family.
Butch gave me an awesome sales experience, he was patient and forthright in our negotiation. In the end I left with a great deal and the vehicle that I wanted. Highly recommend!
From the salesman Matt to the manager Matt and Brenton the best experience buying a car ever completely took care of everything I wanted and more! Treaded me like family and went completely out of their way to help me out!! I highly recommended this dealership!!!!
My wife and I had a great experience leasing our new Ford explorer from Randy and the DCH Ford of TO team. Randy was very helpful, kind and considerate while my wife and I made a decision on a vehicle. We had our 2 year old with us and they did everything they could to make us feel comfortable while we ironed out the details. If you are looking to buy a Ford this is the place to go.
