We took a cooking class with Stephanie and had a blast! She was very patient, engaging and friendly. The food we made turned out AMAZING!

My cooking class at Sur La Table was enjoyable and delicious! We went to an Italian food themed class and made pasta with two types of sauce and gelato. There were a lot of people in our class so we took turns making different parts of the sauce and gelato, but everyone helped make the pasta. There was plenty of food for everyone to eat and leave feeling full.After taking the class, I felt much more confident making homemade pasta. They provide you with instructions that you can make notes on in order to remember how you made your dish and the different tips the instructor shared. I highly recommend looking out for special deals on different classes. They also gave us a coupon after the class that we could use in the store on that day.Bring a hair tie and a bottle of wine! My husband and I went to this store for the first time on a Sunday at 2pm. It was not busy when we got there. The store is tight; not easy to navigate. We were looking for baking pans. We found the brand we wanted but all of the pans were scratched and a few had dents. We wound buying another brand which was fine. Only one employee out of three on the floor acknowledged us and asked if we needed any help. Her name was Anita and she was great. When we were checking out, another employee (with short pixie cut hair) very rudely told Anita to move to another register while we were standing there. She was curt and had zero personality. Anita rang us up and was bubbly, smiling and just understood what customer service was all about. A line did form and she was the only one again, helping anyone. She is the reason for the stars I gave. That’s it.

I went here and learned how to cook Pad Thai. Chef Stephanie was a great teacher! She was very fun, engaging and engaging. She was great at helping us learn everything we needed to do and gave great advice. For $70, it was a bit pricey, but definitely worth doing at least once! The food turned out great and was all the better because we actually made it! An overall great experience, especially thanks to Chef Stephanie!

My fiancee and I registered here for our wedding. There was a technological issue with the connection between in store registering and then the registry uploading to our profile online. I want to recognize Joan for all of her help in the process of getting it uploaded. She was tentative to my calls, reassuring and helpful in instructing me on successfully uploading our registry. Thank you Joan!!

This is an amazing store not only to catch great deals on spices and herbs but also your favorite dish where were cooking utensils you can find top name brands here and get a deal at the same time they also hold cooking classes you would want to call ahead for a schedule and they cooking many different styles so no matter what style of cooking you like they will have someone that can demonstrate this in a Class Type setting for cooking. This is a store I would not mind visiting over and over and over again and even though there are many expensive items in the store you can also get great deals.

Took my husband here for a cooking class for his birthday. We had a great time and the food was great. It was a little pricey for us at $70/person, but that is why we did it for a special occasion. Didnt know we were allowed to bring our own wine, will have to remember that if we come back for another class.

Ive come here 3 times for cooking classes. Everytime I learn something new and enjoy myself!!! Its a laid back environment!

Always a great experience. We signed up out of town guests for daytime cooking classes and they really enjoy their time spent learning how to make a variety of breads. The hospitality did not lack. Thank you guys.

Went to buy a knife. The knife that I wanted was out of stock and they didnt know when a new shipment would come. There was a newly employed person working there and she tried to help the best she could. I wish the staff was more knowledgeable about the things they sold. If I was an unknowlegable person walking in off the street to buy a knife, I would want the person working there to have some type of expertise on that subject. It would be faster than trying out many knives until I found the right one. Plus they need to expand the variety of knives too.

Friendly staff who are always willing to help you find that perfect item. Store is a little cramped and can be hard to navigated with lots of customers. Prices can also be high on many things so watch for sales. Great selection!

We signed up for a 45 min Eggs Benedict class with Jason that lasted 20 minutes. He was very short with questions, generally unpleasant, and unapproachable. One question was, How long do we cook the eggs? He responded, Until theyre done.
