I love the hardware selection here they have an aisle with hundreds possibly thousands of little bins of parts I need from time to time

Very disappointed in the lack of service & when I finally found someone to help me the lack of knowledge on associates part. I cant fault the young man he tried, but you think theyd have a more seasoned individual to refer to.

So convenient to have a friendly hassle free hardware store 5 minutes from home. The service is amazing and they will take you right to what you need. This is definitely going to be my new favorite for tools and home improvement supplies.

Very Expensive compared to other Hardware stores. Options are few due to the size of the store, but I can usually find whats needed. Very slow service at register every time I go there. Otherwise, service is excellent.

I always have problems particularly at this location. The associates are either inexperienced or flat out rude. I always go to great lengths to avoid this location. I dont have any problems at the other Ace locations Ive been to where Ive always received help and treated courteously.

I had a pretty awful experience ordering an item online for store pickup and I will never shop at this store again. A few hours after placing my order, I received an email indicating my order was ready to be picked up. I went to the store and told the cashier I was there for a pickup. She called to someone in the back to let them know. After a couple minutes she never heard back so she called back again. Then she told me they dont have my item in stock. Apparently someone processed my order without even checking to see if my item was in stock. I was told my item would be there tomorrow. Since I already received the email that my order was ready for pickup and would have no idea when my actual item would be available, I asked an employee to make sure someone calls me to let me know when my item arrives so I dont waste my time driving to the store for an item that isnt available. I also called customer service afterwards to explain the awful experience and they said there was nothing they could do. Its been a week now and no phone call, but I just received an email that my order was cancelled and that I have been issued a refund. What a total joke. Im not expecting an ace hardware store employee to be a rocket scientist, but apparently asking for even a modicum of common sense is way too much to ask.

If you have read my reviews about other places you know that I kinda tell it like it is, good or bad.So that having been said...., its an Ace Hardware ya know, a bit higher prices than HD or Lowes or Menards. But at this location the cashier that is typically working when I visit is terrible! She has no personality and just doesnt seem to care about her job and would prefer to be home with her cats!! (I dont know if she has cats or not). She just doesnt make you want to come back!!!Sorry about this review! But I just call em like I see em!

Very helpful staff Adam the manager and three other young people were very very helpful. Very able to help me get fittings for my under my drain in the kitchen sink. An able to get my thing repaired. I really appreciate their expertise.

Store manager Adam and his crew have been doing a highly commendable job during a challenging period (COVID partial shutdown) as an essential business. Theyve managed to handle a slew of online orders, various stock needs and many busy days, all while keeping a positive attitude. I like to keep my money with smaller stores, vs. the bigger box stores.***HOWEVER, its really too bad that ACE Corporate handicaps their stores with a HORRIBLE inefficient online ordering system. I investigated this & found out their system allows people to order things that may not really be in stock, OR is going to be in stock by being put on a truck to the store. Then, as a customer, when you receive an email that your order is ready to pick up all that means is that the truck has physically arrived to the store!! Likely the staff has yet to unload the truck, let alone pick or stage your order to actually be ready for pick up. In the current climate of Amazon and other super-efficient online retailers, ACE needs to get their game out of last century!!

When I have visited Ohio, my boyfriend and I have gone to this Ace and Ashley was able to help us. She is very helpful and knowledgeable, my boyfriend needed a chainsaw and she recommended a good Stihl one which he got when we came home. Keep up the good work Ashley.

Stopped in because I had a coupon. As soon as I walked in a friendly employee asked if I needed any help and directed me towards windshield washer fluid that was on sale. Another employee checked in as I was browsing if there was anything I needed help finding. All around a bunch of kind and courteous employees here. The store was very clean and well organized and had just about anything you could ever need from a hardware store. Ill definitely be coming back.

Lots of workers, most ask you if you need help, one of them should clean the bathroom. Just saying.

Nice place, I stop here occasionally. Last week I purchased some jumper cables. At the checkout they have a nice selection of old timey candy, I get the Circus Peanuts.

On June 5th I dropped off two sunroom screen sliding doors to get the screens replaced. I was told it would take 2 to 3 weeks. When I went back three weeks later after they called me they only did one screen door they did not do the other one, I was told that there must’ve been some sort of mixup and they would have the other screen done for me in two or three days. I never heard from them, weeks went by and I called to find out about the second screen they told me they couldn’t find the screen that it wasn’t there. So I went there myself and was with another employee looking for my screen and couldn’t find it, luckily the guy who does the screens was there at the time and actually found my screen promised me that it would be done that afternoon I said I would pick it up the next day. I went to pick up my screen and the screen was replaced but he didn’t put the door handle back on the screen so I had no handle . So I returned two days later picked up my screen door with the handle on it talked to the manager explained to him the experience I had with his store he walked back in the room found the screen guy who gave me my screen, they did do me a favor and only charge me for one screen instead of two. But the manager never apologized, Actually he just walked away from everything after I saw the screen guy never said another word. You would think after waiting over a month and a half to get two screens replaced there would’ve been some sort of apology there. Never going back

Very friendly staff. We were looking for a hard to find extension cord that had a special on/off switch in the middle. The only way you could get this type now was to splice the wires of an existing extension cord and place this switch on it. He said it was not very safe or reliable in his opinion. He did help us find an extension cord that had a button in the middle. This is the kind usually used for Christmas trees. Works great.

Went in looking for what was to me an esoteric part for a bathroom sink drain. The clerk knew exactly what I needed and, with good-natured banter, took me directly to it.This was just one of several examples of why I like Ace. Their slogan, the place with the helpful hardware folk, always rings true.

Okay so you need tools or something needs fixed, most local style hardware shops are too small and limited when it comes to present day needs but not this place. They have all the space and utilize all of it well to keep you from having to take that Home Depot/Lowes trip to Avon, North Olmsted, or Rocky River. Also you get the personalized attention without having to track someone down! Love it!

Great location, I needed to get my snow thrower repaired as it has been broke for two years. I was greeted by Adam and Dominic and they were very helpful. I ended up buying a new one giving my old one to my brother. They fixed the problem in 10 min and only cost me $15..thanks again.

These guys go above and beyond! Had a broken car remote key case. Bought a replacement case online and took key to be cut. The small black chip had to be removed and put into the new case. Couldnt get it out but they did!! Cut the key, ran through a few passes until it worked! Saved me hundreds. I paid $5 for a new battery. They were nice, knowledgeable and willing to work hard to help me. John is terrific. Didnt catch the names of the other two young men but they were all great and worked together. The tall one got my chip out! Seems like a great place to work. Thanks guys!!

Best place is ACE

Easy to get to, park, get in,and get out without the long walk. Store is clean, well lit and associates are available for help. Plus prices are competitive and theres a warehouse in Westlake so you are supporting local business.

I went into Ace today and was greeted by the new Store Manager. Great selection and clean store, Adam was great will be back soon.

Ace is the reason I wont go into the big box shops. Danielle is an asset, to this place and couldnt have been more helpful. She spent a half hour cutting glass perfectly to spec for me, and was so pleasant the entire time. I will continue to shop here and come back just because of the level of service she gave me. Seriously an outstanding job!! Thank you Danielle!!

I had an excellent experience there. When my car jack didnt lift my car (despite the jack exceeding my cars weight) Ace took the *slightly* used jack as a return and sold me a jack that worked correctly. And they gave me a discount as an apology. They were so helpful and willing that I went back a further 3 times that day to replace tools that had broken (purchased elsewhere). Excellent customer service!

They had everything I needed and a whole lot more. Great store and a nice break from the big box stores. The prices were decent too. Ill be back there definitely.

Ashley in lawn & garden is amazing! My Stihl chain saw blade needed sharpening. Instead of waiting 4 weeks for servicing, Ashley suggested buying a new chain/blade and she installed it on the spot! So for $8.00, we were able to finish cutting the tree that had just fallen in our backyard. Ashley also checked to be sure the chain was getting oiled while running. I was so impressed with her knowledge of Stihl chain saws, absolutely a professional in this field!

To me, visiting ACE in Westlake is like pulling a comfortable pair of sneakers. They help you find what you need, carry you through your job, and treat you with respect. Like sneakers, you pick up an occasional small stone that causes you to stop and shake it out, but like those good sneakers, they continue to serve you well.

Always get great customer service here and always have what I need.

Purchased a Stihl leaf blower from this location on a busy Saturday morning. The gentleman who cashed me out went way above in demonstrating top to bottom on how to operate the blower in the parking lot. The store is filled with a great and friendly staff...no matter how busy they will go out of the way for you

Pretty standard hardware store. This location has been a number of different stores and Ace doesnt seem to really fill up the parking lot. I tend to buy everything I can online and in the cheaper big box stores, but when you need more a specialized item, youll be well-served here.

Ashley was wonderful gave great advice on how not to flood my new chainsaw and what preventative maintenance I need to do. She deserves a raise with how high her customer service is.

(I dislike store rewards cards) however she asked nice and saved me money. She even ran from working paint to be cashier when line started at register.Chuck did awesome job repairing my screen exactly as I specifiedo how I wanted it rescreened.I apprecite the veterans 10% discount and will shop again.When I was here last week all employees were working fast and obviously know what customer service is.
