Went to the Verizon store on October 9th 2021. There were 2 employees and a manager there. The manager took our name and asked what we needed. Mentioned I would be returning an iPhone 13 pro because it was too small and wanted the 13 pro max.We waited from 1:15pm until we left at 3:15pm. It was a huge waste of time because he wasnt helping any customers.He then told us it would be an hour wait. Well, its busy, its covid, so I understand staffing issues so we wait. All while waiting the manager of the store was pacing around, on his phone, not helping customers. After an hour passed I asked him to just do the return for us so we could be on our way and he said that he cannot be tied down to any customer and he has to keep an eye on the store. When it came our turn it was 1 hour and 45 minutes after we got there and our transaction took about 5 minutes.While we were being helped another customer and the manager got into a yelling match that they wont wait there any longer. Our transaction took 5 minutes and the manager instead of leaving his employees to help all the customers alone couldve been actually clearing out the hour long line that was in the store.I was planning on ordering a new iPhone 13 pro max that day to replace my return but decided I didnt want to give the Westland store, or this manager, the credit of a sale of a new iPhone and that I would just order from Apple where I wouldnt have to deal with an attitude.the employee that helped us was a young woman, she was very polite and got the transaction done quickly, I appreciate her help and this review is only bad because of the manager on shift at the time.

I was there today with a broken phone. I was fortunate to work with Gary. He was AWESOME! Friendly, knowledgeable, kind, thorough. An all-around great guy. So helpful! Im grateful for this awesome experience. Highly recommend.

Dont be fooled by the store hours on Google, they turned me away at 6:45 tonight saying they close at 7 even though it is posted 8pm. I have tried to get an upgrade at this location 3 times in the last 4 days, each time they are either closing ealry or have a 2 hour wait (only 2 other customers in the store at the time). I guess they really want me to go to best buy to get my phones upgraded. Or switch to another carrier altogether.

Great service but tech not knowledgeable about Mobile Protection Plan. My husband was told he needed to buy a new phone. Damage not covered. And even If he wanted a replacement it would take 3 days and might be longer because of the weekend. He needed to call tech support for a question and they said he is covered and are now sending him a same day replacement for $100.

Great coustmer service. My son stay the night at his grandparents house. He lost his charger to his Gizmo watch. My 75 yr old dad went and wanted to buy A new charger for the watch. The young man Sean was awesome he gave it to them with no charge. Way to go out of the way and help. Thanks

Back in February I bought a new phone. After spending close to an hour in there I thought all was well. Last night my phone fell and shattered the screen. I called to get the number to have it replaced only to find out that the guy CANCELLED the insurance on my phone the SAME DAY I BOUGHT IT!! Not only did I spend 59 minutes in the phone with tech support (who is a saint and was beyond helpful) I also ended up buying a new phone... again. Check your stuff before you leave because they may have screwed you over.

Customer service is dead!.Absolutely no help or advice since I was buying a flip phone, replacing the old one after 10 years the cover broke. The girl waiting on me explained NOTHING. Disappointed because I paid up front for the phone. Swayed like a pendulum the entire time and made me nervous.So besides trying to sell people more expensive phones, the people do nothing there. Cant even transfer phone numbers. I have to basically do it myself over the phone with tech. When I asked for advice on where to get a new glasses sheild for my 3 year old Android phone, they basically told me I was out of luck.The heck with Verizon. Customer service sucks, just want more money from us and offer nothing.

Horrible, horrible store. We went in and stood around for a while. The single worker was busy with another customer. Understandably, we had to wait our turn. However, we were never once greeted or even acknowledged in any way. We have up and left. I do not recommend this store if you expect to have decent customer service.

I went in to buy a car charger for my phone. Someone helped me right away, grabbed the Verizon brand charger, and then began ringing me up. It was taking a few minutes and then the tablet they were using for checkout died. Then I waited over 5 minutes for them to do something similar on their computer (we were already by the computer anyways). After about 10-12 minutes I was finally told the price of my charger was $40. I left and was out of Best Buy with a better charger 15 minutes later for only $20. The workers were polite and the place was clean, but those are the only positive things about my visit.

Horrible service. This was my 3rd trip to the Store (and 4 to other nearby Store) in 5 days to exchange my newly acquired phone. I pushed my organization to switch from Sprint to Verizon - it was a big mistake. These guys are worse than Sprint in service. It was clear from the beginning of my visit to the Store that he did not want me there. Even though I had proper authorization, the sales guy, Sean, told me that he could not access the email as it was addressed to another sales guy. I insisted. So he went and talked to his supervisor and came back acting to help. Went back in the storage area, returned and declared that they were out of S5 phones! He had to look in to the storage area to figure out that he did not have the phone unit in stock! This is the store that carries hand-held fancy tablet to assign customer no. and track customers who walk in the store! Needless to say we left there after spending an hour without any transaction and hearing from an extremely rude and unprofessional sales person who did not care to serve.

Its a phone boutique, not a good place to learn about the phone features/ options. All fluff- no substance. Cutesy display, no information. Must ask salesperson everything, and they dont know much. No prices on anything, just look and play with the phones then buy what the salesman wants you to buy.

I was literally lied to and made to believe that I would get free accessories for trading in my device, turns out they ended up costing me more than $200. I was also lied to and made to believe that I was purchasing my device outright, even though some months later now it is clear that was not the case. If you like being lied to and taken advantage of this is a great place to go. Also, before this, I brought a device in for a manufacturers defect and I was straight up told to my face that there was nothing wrong with my device even though my camera was clearly heavily distorted. Terrible employees.

Called to make sure they had the note 7 in Stock. They said yes and that I had to hurry up or it wouldnt be there because they will sell to someone else. I got there quickly and waited to be helped. When I finally was helped they went to get the phone they held for me only to find out they were actually out of stock. Why did I have to hurry up to get the phone you were holding for me when you dont actually have one? Thanks for wasting my time.

Gary the manager is a very rude disrespectful individual. His lack of professionalism and basic knowledge of the products and services verizon offers makes dealing with this toxic person unbearable. His poor lifestyle choices and lack of hygiene have me genuinely concerned for his physical and mental health and may be the cause of his rude and unmanageable aggression toward customers and employees. I only hope he can get these issues in check before hes left with heart disease, diabetes and a life filled with lonely nights eating his way through a tub of KFC chicken and Ben and Jerrys ice cream.

The guy who served me was mediocre at best! He couldnt answer any questions... Were not techs was his response. No offer to load media on to the new phone.. No offer to help at all. Ill never return to the Westland, Michigan store.Maybe his lunch hour was due? I dont know, but this must have been the WORST customer service that I have ever received in my 8 years as a Verizon customer.

Im 65 years old and my son gave me a smartphone from Verizon. Believe it or not this is my first cell phone. I think I drove my son crazy asking him what the phone will do. He said mom, its a smartphone it can do everything. Well I didnt know how to use it. I had to ask someone to help me to where to put the charger on.I went to this Verizon store and a salesman was very nice to me. He took his time to give me step by step instructions. He gave me time to write each step down and had me do it a couple of times in front of him until I would understand what I was doing.There is also a web site that explains how to do things but I found out it is better to have a person showing me how to do it. Now I have been helping other people with their smartphones.Verizon that you so much to have sales people that would take the time to help the older generation.

I have problems with auto pay and with manually entering my card info in.I have chatted with 6 different people, called 3-4 times, and been into this location and the ford road location about this issue 6 times total and no one can fix my problem. i had gotten a new bank and their card and then went from an iphone se to an 8. When i did that auto pay worked for the 1st 2 months with is card and phone and on the 3rd just kicked me out for no reason. I then manually entered my card but it still wouldnt take. I have since found that if i try again a different day it May work. I now have to try 2-6 different days to get my card accepted. It accepts the card at random. I keep getting late fees because of this. They told me check on my banks end, bank cleared me, try talking to our financial team, i did twice, we can set up auto pay on our end for you! did 3 times, try using a different card and then try yours again, i did- used my fiancés card and it worked and then kicked me back out then kicked his card out after trying his again. so i cant try his again. They told me as my last option to get a new bank card or payment source all together but i only have the one card and im not getting a new card after trying another persons bank card with mine it shows that the card isnt the problem its something in your system that is broken. we both had plenty on the cards. The person i chatted with tried to run my card on their end and nothing, chatted the next morning with the same ammount of money on card and it took it no problem. I told the people i dnt mind having to manually pay each month but the payments better go through when i do it and not after so many tries and at random. I told them if they cant fix it this time im taking my money elsewhere cuz my money works everywhere i go they are the only problem i have with my card being accepted and they dont seem too concerned with me leaving. They should be cuz my fiance already dropped them months ago and keeps telling me to join him and im really considering it now!!

I would give lower rating if I could.setting business account.Bought a new phone.and transferring personal phone to business account.They said I had add new phone to personal account first.We did that.Had to pay 2 $800 deposits for business lines. Paid cash for taxes and fees.Now they say I cannot add new phone to business account for 30days.They they said we sent receipts to your personal phone you transfered to business account and you can not get them because your phone is no longer associated with the personal account.REALLY POOR SERVICE.Auburn consulting copier repair service.

Terrible customer service. Rude employees and he didnt offer me a decent deal. Went inside the mall to Best Buy Mobile and saved $70 and got more friendly experience. Verizon jerk only offered me the 2gb plan and the Best Buy guy was able to get me the 6gb plan for the same price. Never going to Verizon again.

Im quite surprised with all the negative reviews about this location. I feel as though people have vented their frustrations with Verizon wireless, the corporate giant, by negatively reviewing this service center. Lets just be frank, Verizon is the comcast of the cell phone world; the best product, for the highest price. There are a ton of value based carriers that provide sufficient service, but if you want the best service, signal strength, phone selection, ect. expect to pay for it.That rant aside, I have always received honest and helpful advice and service from this location. They are corporate, and not an authorized retailer which I prefer, but again, can come with a slightly higher price tag than going to Walmart. Any more I deal exclusively with Larry, as he has always been extremely helpful, and looks out for my best interest, as if we were childhood friends. The only reason my review gets 4 stars instead of 5, is that there is often a 45+ minute wait. Hard for a business to really mitigate that issue other than have more people on duty more often, but I generally see at least 8 agents helping customers. The accessory selection is not the greatest either, but thats what Amazon is for.

Solutions Manager George Williams has single handedly let this corporate location run to the ground. His customer service approach is quoted by his final line to me today. We are a cell phone company, not an accessory company. Then he handed me 2 business cards so I could complain twice, he said. All while his branch manager watched.He does not honor any purchases or accessories that are less than a month old that are under warranty and insured. You have to call customer service and they will apologize for his behaviors. Unacceptable.

This store is a HUGE problem....separate from Verizon as a corporation.My brother went here bc his new galaxy note 5 just quit powering up. They ordered new phone, sent it the wrong address. My brother went back...they ordered another phone and my brother had it sent to their store. He got the replacement and sent back the defective one.BUT now Im being charged for the first phone sent to the wrong address because this store did not submit a credit request regarding the phone they had sent to the wrong place! Weve been to the store 4 times and they were suppose to investigate it but havent done a thing. I have a 700.00 charge on my phone bill and even Verizon customer service has called them and has been put on hold for the last 20 minutes trying to get this situation resolved so dont tell me this is Verizon issue when this whole problem was generated by the store not doing what they are suppose to do

Worst customer service Ive ever seen. I blame it on them being understaffed. Everytime I visit I have a 15-30 minute wait until I get helped. And everytime my issue only needs a couple of minutes of attention to be resolved. I walk in and they take my name like Im at a restaurant..... its a retail shop people!. My wife visited here earlier today to discuss her screen issue and they told her all I had to do is come in and approve ithe and it will take 2 minutes. I arrive and 15 minutes later I have to leave because I had a hair appointment I had to make. Now I have to go back and wait in a 20 minute line after the hair appointment to deal with the Verizonnazis. I would rather lather my nuts with bird feed and lay in a chicken coop for 13 hours than have to wait in this line.......

Honestly, I wouldn’t even l ave one star at this place if it would have allowed me to. Th I customer service is so terrible, they’ll lie about anything to get you to buy something from them. This was just my experience, I’m sure people have had great ones too, but as soon as our contract is up we’re done with Verizon and not going back. So unhelpful and when we asked what else we should do they guy literally told us to try and have another phone company buy us out of our contract. ALSO, if you live in Wayne don’t expect to get service pretty much ever.

So I waited today to make a few adjustment to my plan and possibly upgrade my phone.I spent just over two hours at the store trying to get this done. I know you would think this is an exaggeration but unfortunately for me and my wasted time it wasnt. At the end of the day if your looking for a good or promising plan Verizon is not the place to be. I pay $120 to get 3G which everyone else these days its $50 for unlimited everything, Get with the program Verizon! My upgrade date is 11/29 and one would think my two hour wait and the fact that I was going to sign a new 2 year deal plus wait two weeks for a phone would of made it close enough but the manager within 1 minute made the decision he couldnt do anything for me. Well you lost a customer.I will let you know how the service at Sprint or T-Mobile or Virgin is when I switch and of them can waste my time and money like you did today.
