Yet another wasted trip... If you dont feel like working on Sunday or picking up the phone, CHANGE YOUR HOURS here or spend $5 on a thrift store answering machine listing said hours. I had to update your hours with Google. Every time I come here, Im left with the feeling that Im visiting a permanent going out of business sale, featuring pricing that would make former Tandy/RadioShack executives blush. This place is a last resort only, and even then theyve let me down more times than I care to count.
Excellent have everything you need owner very personal and friendly would recommend to everyone
They have most of the components i have needed. The lady owner is a very uneasy lady to deal with... i ordered and paid for 2 very large Electrolytic capacitors once, from her... I gave her my micro farad & voltage values i needed... she wrote down my info, i paid in full on the spot for them... 3 weeks later i got a phone call, she told me they were in store. I went there to pick them up and they were completely wrong Capacitors ... she actually argued with me telling me it was what i ordered... I informed her that she wrote down the values on the order sheet ... She got out the sheet and seen that i was right !!! she ordered the wrong ones... Then she told me i still had to pay for them because, special order ... Well needless to say with alot of sad words passed between us i finally won and did get my money back that i paid for them... but i know others that had as much or more problems with this lady... she Not a People person at all... I have never done business with them again...
Super cool and fun store! Great for kids too who want to learn about electronics!
I can’t express how disappointed I was when I shopped here! The old lady was the rudest person I have ever encountered. How are they still open????? She needs to retire and let someone work that actually cares
I have been going here for parts and tools for at least 20 years. If you need it now, this is the place for electronic parts and supplies. Not the cheapest place but they have a huge inventory which is expensive maintain. Love the place.
Not sure what all the negative reviews are for, people were very nice and they have everything you could need. Its nice to see there is a physical store to get electronic components instead of having to buy them online.
My father and now me have been going to this place and them for 40-50 years now!! 😲. They always have what Im looking for or NTE cross reference. May be more, but that is the cost of holding inventory, but being able to complete a job and getting parts immediately! Recommended
If I could give less than one star I would, the place is so dirty, and the lady that works there is so rude. I was waiting for five minutes at the desk while she talked on a personal call, and then I remarked that the customer service was terrible and she said maybe it was me. I had a question regarding a radio that was $80 above price of anywhere else you can find it. Everything that I looked at was seriously marked up and over price. Will never be returning here again, somebody needs to give this lady some chamomile tea.
This is the electronics shop you the way you like them. Generally carry all the parts you need for any project youre working on. Hope they will continue for years to come.
Drive 50 miles to get here. Website and store said they were open from 11:00 to 4:00. Got here at 2:30. No one here on a Monday. Jerks!
Audio file willing to spend a bunch of money. The lady behind the counter was no help whatsoever. Would not come out from behind the counter to show you where the products we were looking to buy were. She was too busy taking out her trash. Whenever we asked a question she had an attitude about it. Like I was an inconvenience to her. Took literally 20 minutes to realize that she didnt want to help me.
Great people, know their stuff
Everything that U need and a lot more.
Wow! We went in here and drove 40 minutes with the intention of purchasing two hand held radios, connecting hardware for headsets, and a home base. The lady at the counter was extremely rude. She actually let out sigh when we asked if we could see the package of one of the radios. We tried to ask questions and give our business and it was apparent she did not want to help us at all. The few questions she answered were met with rudeness. We will shop online, get better prices and find the information we were looking for in a more pleasant manner.
Excellent people! Really know their stuff. Its great to see a place like this still in business, and Im thankful theyre still around. If youre into electronics, this is THE place to go.Heres a little advice for the people who bash on this place. If you dont know what youre doing regarding electronics, this is NOT the place for you. The people who work and own this place have been doing this for YEARS. Im sure it is irritating to listen to people walk in that have NO business messing with electronics. She probably doesnt want you to get hurt! However, if youre willing to LEARN SOMETHING, the owner KNOWS HER STUFF.I invite you to take a deep breath and have a CONVERSATION with the people who work here. They will NOT let you down!
I read through the reviews before I posted anything, is the lady that worked there the owner? I was in there last week and she was so rude! I kept asking questions and she would not come from behind the counter to help me on the sales floor. I will never be returning to this establishment again!
Sold me a broken item out of the box and refused to even give me store credit. Guess I’m going to Amazon
One of the best electronic supply stores that I know
Dont help they have everything you need if you can find it. You wont get any help by product.
Wow, An old school mom and pops store unlike any other around. If you need anything electrical related,I bet they have it. If your a electrician, like me, you’ll walk around this store with your tongue out! Huge selection or relays, capacitors, crimp tool and cuts, large selection of LED’s in many voltages and more. It’s worth at least stopping in if you drive by, or are in the area. Helpful knowledgeable staff. Lots to look at in this store. Give them a call and see if they got what you need, you just might be surprised like I was. I really wish more stores were like this one, a real nostalgic experience, where you feel like someone actually cares about your issues and helping you solve them.
I really like this store, great selection of parts and supplies. The owners/operators are no non-sense kind of people but they know their stuff! I didnt expect to feel warm and fuzzy, I just wanted parts to repair a project.
Tried to tell the lady my employer needs electrical parts all the time maybe build relationship for getting parts but she didnt want it I should have read these posts first but my experience was like everyone else
I arrived almost *at* 4PM, not realizing their hours have been adjusted due to COVID-19 and that they were scheduled to close at 4.Many thanks to the lady for allowing me a few minutes to sweep the aisles looking for plastic battery holders (and a visual sweep to fill my mind with I know where to get it! for another visit).I found exactly what I wanted, plus a tri-color LED that jumped off the hook and into my hand.Had exact change for her, and was able to pay, thank her for indulging me and get both her and me headed home by about 10 minutes after 4.If you want to see and touch the things you need, look here. If not, order them online and wait to see if/when they arrive from China. I dont care if the things I bought would have been 25¢ cheaper than the $8 I spent.Theres a reason why people either rate EC a 5- or 1- star. The former by those who know what they want and are happy to get it; the latter often by those who dont know what they need and are offended that the staff at EC wont guess for them. [Do you really expect anyone to accept a return on an electronic part you may have damaged?]Bring the dead part. Take pictures of the model number and other info on the unit. Research your non-working device and know what you need. This is not an electronics school folks. And learn the difference between what to find at EC and, say, Micro Center--totally different stuff.btw--They still sell vacuum tubes here. And a thousand other things youll play hell finding elsewhere.
Lots of electronics that used to be everywhere. They arent cheap, but in a pinch.
Went there today for a fuse holder and fuses and the lady there was very nice and very helpful thanks again . GREAT PLACE
Extremely rude lady at the counter. They have a warehouse full of parts, but wont help you find what you need. I drove 40 minutes to help support a small business, Im now going to be forced to order online :/ Also my dad says hes seen nicer hungry alligators. Lol
Great place. The last of the true electronic stores.
The last of its kind, hence the five stars. Staff could be more friendly, but who cares. After they get to know you, they are super cool.
First time customer, drove from Monroe for parts needed for amp repair, found what I needed at reasonable price. Incredible inventory! Also want to say that the woman behind counter was smiling and pleasant, was told they have been in business since 1960s so must be doing something right, only store like it in SE MI that I am aware of, glad to know youre there. Thanks.
This place is a great resource similar to Purchase Radio from Ann Arbor back in the day. Yes they have a TON of obscure stuff. My experiences with the lady on staff was disappointing. I asked if they had a capacitor tester and she said no, then showed me a capacitor substitution box in the locked case sitting right next to 3 testers that are what I wanted. I can buy the same thing on Amazon, but I strongly believe in supporting your local mom and pop merchants. The lesson here is that this place is a real gem and a valuable resource but you should NOT expect any help or advice. Know what you want and look for it, or browse the massive selection of time faded packaging to figure out what will work for you. Sometimes the other customers can be fun and helpful. Ive seen a few people come in and be rude to the owners and I wanted to throw them out myself. Dont come here for free problem solving advice, and try to appreciate what you have available. Radio Shark is gone, you will be sad when you are in a hurry for a part and this place is no more. Minus one star for weird hours, lack of amateur radio equipment and no store mascot, cat or dog to greet you.
The staff were friendly and helpful for me. Showed me the exact spot to find what I needed (pots). They even had three different brands to choose from.It would have been a five minute trip, but I spent 45 more minutes looking through their VAST inventory.I will definitely go back!
My go to place for anything electronic !
“Karen” who answered the phone was extremely rude. Cut me off multiple times and was the bare minimum of helpful. When is said “thank you have a nice day.” She said “yeah, bye.” Then hung up.
A must for anyone who is looking for those hard to find electronic parts like resistors. No more Radio Shacks. People who work there could be more friendly.
Best selection of electronic parts around. Lots to look at and lots to choose from. Staff is helpful and no-nonsense, they know their stuff!
Best local electronics accessories!
Woman who works here didnt show any interest in helping me at all and kept telling me to go to Microcenter instead. Wish i listened to the other reviews regarding the bad service here
Try three different times to get stuff I needed and it seems like they work when they want to work forgot they werent there on Wednesdays and sign said they were closed on Monday and then come back Tuesday around 4 in the afternoon and still surprised nobody here I guess Ill just go somewhere else better no point going to a place that they only want to work when they feel like working
I have seen some negative reviews regarding the staff being rude but its not true. Good people, friendly and they get down to business.
The guy there is super nice but his wife is unbelievably rude. I wanted to go there many times but did not want to deal with her rudeness. I dont see how they can stay in business with her attitude. If she would just stay home that place would do much better.
Your best bet is online. The owner is interesting and she is no help. I would look else where for your needs. Its like walking in RadioShack in 1989. A lot of stuff but its for older gadgets and builds. Pricing is that about of online maybe 10-15% higher. Dont go in with questions as they will not get answered. Support or help is none existent.
Absolutely enormous selection of components, soldering tools and a whole wall of heat shrink tubing, and its not even cluttered or untidy inside like most other electronics places. Staff are helpful and honest, and theres stuff in here I cant even find online. Definitely coming back again.
My hats off to Electronic Connection. If you cant find what you need for a project there, you will have to do some serious hunting on the internet. If you are just getting interested in electronics or if you are a pro, you will appreciate what they have in their store. The best to all of you.
If they dont have it, you dont need it!!
Rude?? On the surface, maybe. In all actuality they are saving you money, time, and headache for you and them selves. I went here several years ago for some potentiometers for my guitar. I asked where the pots where, they have tons, I asked which ones are for guitar, they asked Audio, or Linear, what resistance... I did not know. I felt stupid and like they knew the answer but just would not tell me. They probably did know the answer, and they probably do know the answer to almost all of the question you may have, BUT I now realize they are a store, not a library or a electrical engineering vocational school. After being in business for sooo long I am positive they have settled on the best approach to serve their core customer base best. If they were to hold the hand of all novice tinkerers they would never get anything done and would be teaching for free, and selling you things you may not need, may end up ruining, etc. So, know what you want when you go there and they most likely have it for a good price! The internet has all the info you may need now-a-days so there is no excuse for expecting the store owners to teach you. I have been back several times since then and the woman behind the counter is actually very nice.
Not very helpful at the counter, high prices ( about 3 or 4 times higher than Amazon)and be sure of what you buy cause they offer no refunds or exchange and you dont know that till you pay and its too late, no signs around stating that. So if you do shop make sure its what you want.
They are very rude, dont want to help people, have very bad people skills, been there a few times in 15 years only because not many choices and every time i walk out saying same thing ...ill never go back, they didnt have what i needed or they didnt show me where is was . Stay away order online better experience .
My husband is taking a course at schoolcraft. We had a long list of supplies and we went in without knowing much. They were so helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Thank you for such a great experience.
Always love this place, very vice and helpful. I enjoy supporting small businesses also.
My own personal hobby shop.
They do fetch a premium on parts, but as one of the last shops in michigan, its supply and demand. I was absolutely surprised to see they still had vaccum tubes in stock. Lot more selection than microcenter in madison heights. Will shop there again. Worth the drive south for me. Ill just wait until I need bulk components before I go again.
Shopped there for components to gear!! Great prices....hard to find things??? Not there! Just ask...theyll help you find it! Have done business ever since they were on ford road in canton...just a great place to browse and shop! Will P. Lewiston
Theyve got what you need. That said they arent warm or fuzzy, but they got it. Also knowledgeable. Id knock them on personality but really who cares if they have what you need and dont rip you off.
UPDATED: Past three times Ive driven over they were closed. No website or way to check if youre open online either. Should I call everytime I want to nab something? :(If you know what you need the staff is super helpful. Was in and out with exactly the part I needed (and the instruction on how to install) in less than 5 minutes. If you go into the store knowing the part you need youll be fine. If you go in expecting folks to troubleshoot your issue... yeah you may end up writing a 1 star review :-p
If they dont have it, you dont need it! Seriously, they have an excellent electronics store with most every component you need. Sometimes I do get a lukewarm reception but sometimes I am like that, so I let it go. A bit of a 60s-70s time warp for me because I remember Lafayette, Allied, and Olson... back when kids made stuff and not so much smoked stuff. Definitely worth a peek.
Always been helpful when Ive been in there. They have a good stock of just about everything. Be polite and theyll be polite.
One of the few (only?) electronics store open on the weekend. Lady is very nice to me. Much better than Radio Shack.
A good selection of electronic items.
Great place to find hard to find electronic switches... The lady behind counter was not much help.Their return policy is iffy...Other than that... I got what I needed
They have all the hard to find electronic items locally that otherwise you would have to order online. The old guy is very helpful, however, avoid the old lady. She is VERY rude and treats you like you dont know what you are talking about.
Real Electronics parts store. Not a Best buy tv and latest gadget store. For honest and true electronic technicians. Wire, soldering gun, resistors, transistors, capacitors, switches, heat shrink, and all electronic parts related equipment dont expect to take your VCR and get it repaired its not going to happen. Yes the people who run and own the store is family operated, who have good and bad days just like everyone else. So dont get upset if they dont hold your hand and kiss your backside. The only reason I dont give a five stars is because they dont offer amateur radio equipment and more high end electronic testing equipment which is very much needed, even if only to lease or rent this good test equipment. Other than that this is a phenomenal great store with plenty of parking, you can browse the isles forever, never rushed and they offer great learning electronic kits for children and adults who dont know anything about Electronics or electronic Theory. This is where cable TV and telephone technicians buy parts and tools you cant get anywhere else.
No refunds, no exchanges. You dont know it til you already bought your stuff. I bought wire that I couldnt see until i first purchased it, then couldnt return it, or even exchange it. Not to mention being treated like a moron for even asking. What a horrid woman. I hope this place goes out of business to make way for a valid retail establishment.
Great selection for the electronics nerd. I can usually find the parts I need there.
Excellent place to get electronic stuff
The owner / operators are friendly and knowledgeable, and the store has (most likely) the best inventory of electronic supplies in the area. I will admit that they do not suffer fools and cheapskates well, thus...dont be a fool or a cheapskate. In fact, here are a couple of ideas for dealing with any similar business:1 - Dont buy things with the expectation of using the stuff for testing and then returning it. This is the number one gripe of every electronics business owner I know. Best Buy is actively discouraging this, so why would a locally-owned business be any different?2 - Know what you need going in! I ask them for opinions from time to time, mostly about how often a particular device is returned for warranty service. What I dont ask them to do is guess what is wrong with my TV/CB/PC, and have them try to magically divine what component to sell you or let you try out (see above). Theyre not psychic, and never claimed to be.3 - DONT BE A FRICKEN CHEAPSKATE!!! Of course their prices will be higher than large, on-line sources. Youre paying for the ability to drive a couple of miles and get what you need. Want a lower price? Order on-line and wait a week. Wait, what did you say? You need to actually see the the thing that you want to buy? Oh, guess thats either a drive to [insert on-line company here] or E.C.You realize that they have bills to pay, right? Just like you, except theirs a higher.Just deal with it...
Neat place. Theres not a place like it anywhere else, but know the NTE part number of what you need, or youll feel like a fool. I wanted a bridge rectifier, and I just wanted to look at their selection to find one with the voltage and current specs I needed. The gal asked me the part# of my old bridge rectifier. It didnt cross over to anything in her computer. I asked her if I could look at her selection of them. She told me to look one up in the 1000 page book. I mustve been in the wrong section because I couldnt find any 4-pin rectifiers. I left for 5 min, found one on NTEs website on my phone, came back in, she told me she needs an NTE number before she can get anything. I told her 5332. She quietly turned around, went in the back room, came back, tossed it on the counter in front of me, then told me $3.89. I felt like she was thinking shes giving me what I ask for, and could care less if it works or not for me. Anyway, it did work, I got the stereo receiver fixed that I was working on. Ill go back again to that store (really cool place with a lot of stuff), but holy cow, Ill do my homework ahead of time before going in!
Best electronic shop on the west side. They have EVERYTHING!
One of the only places to get electronic things. With the impending closure of radio shack, this may be the only place left. The people there were very nice.
Their radar detectors are over priced. I got ripped off. 105$ its actually only a 70$ radar detector at best and I could probably get it for 60$. Didnt even open it and they wont refund it, wonder why maybe because its a rip off.
Great selection of parts. Super nice people.
Wow. Its been a long time since I have been treated that rudely by a merchant. Same lady at the counter as from previous reviews. When I asked for help, her reply was, for all intents and.purposes, figure it out yourself I left feeling like I should have said Im sorry Im so stupid.
Wonderful store. Found exactly what I was looking for and then some. This store has everything you need for DIY projects and electronics repair.
Ive driven by this place and never noticed it, but it had a lot more than I expected. If you need anything regarding electronics or cbs, this is your spot. Staff was super friendly, great store.
I like to see the little guys with niche electronic stores still compete with the big online companies, but I have struck out here the last four times finding what I needed. The product knowledge of the staff has been subpar making it difficult to identify or find what I need in the store. They do have a great selection of electronic meters, PCBs, capacitors, resisters, diodes, CB equipment, AV cables and adapters, and electronics hand tools. If you go there to look around leisurely you wont be disappointed. There are quite a few hobby kits for older/basic electronics. Unfortunately they have not ventured into mini computer hardware such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino or Odroid at this time.
This is one of my favorite locations to buy all off my soldering equipment. 1000× better than Radio Shack!
The staff who run this shop are very knowledgeable and friendly.I definitely will be back.
Great inventory. Had everything I needed.
Awesome store, they have EVERYTHING, better than Frys
Outstanding electronics parts shop! You walk in, and its almost like a time-warp back to the 1980s. This place is everything that RadioShack used to be, and beyond! They have just about everything, and truly are the last place in Michigan like it. I graduated with an EE degree back in 2011, and had to build a fairly complex senior project in order to graduate. I ended up getting about 80-85% of all of the parts I needed in order to construct my $700 or so project right here at the Electronic Connection. Could I have perhaps saved $50 or so if Id bought everything online at DigiKey? Sure. But to me, the continued preservation of these great little brick & mortar establishments was well worth the extra buck to me. And what a time-saver it is to be able to actually drive to the local store and actually look around at what you are buying. The customer service is good, and this is a business which has been family owned for generations by the same husband and wife team. Does the lady tend to come off a little grouchy at times? Sure. But get to know her better, and you find that shes actually quite friendly and has years of knowledge in selling electronics behind her. In my opinion, both her and Bernie; the owner, are very helpful salespeople.I love this place, and wish them years of continued success. Sadly, knowing the way the market is these days with the supermassive black hole known as Amazon, Im not as confident in this as I once was. But thats where we all come in. Shop there, and you will help keep this excellent store in business for future customers. If youre an electronics tinkerer, hobbyist, EE/CE, engineering student, amateur radio operator, etc. then I highly recommend you stop in and give this place a try. I promise itll be well worth your trip!
Very helpful staff and good selection at decent prices
I have never been there to actually experience the store first hand. However I did call to see if they had a part I needed and the lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and not helpful in anyway. Im guessing by reading some other reviews it is the owners wife. She needs to not be able to deal with customers if shes going to treat them like that. Never will I call again or step foot in that door.
Place has tons of stuff that you might need.
The old man the old man is very. Wife is pretty darn rude. Very degrading. Not a pleasant place.
The only place left in Metro Detroit that sells electronics parts. When the owners retire, there will be no electronic parts stores left in Metro Detroit. Prices are high, but if you need a part today, they usually will have it. Otherwise, its a 5 day wait for online orders from Digikey, Mouser or Newark. So sad, back in the day, there was Lafayette, Olsen, Norwest, RS electronics, Future, Heathkit and A1 electronics stores.
The store attendant was very rude, off putting, and unhelpful. When you are in the service/retail industry, there is a way to conduct yourself that does not make the guest/customer feel stupid, and the associate I dealt with lacked this professional demeanor. The store seems to have quite a bit of inventory, so if you know what you are looking for, they probably have it.I wont go back or recommend it.
Avoid if possible. No thing as customer service. Very rude and unprofessional. Also, the prices are astronomical compared to Digikey or Amazon.
Just called on phone, lady said she knows nothing about products she just sale the box. Terrible sales lady .Who allow people to work when they dont know what a dvr does? WOW
You couldn’t pay me to go back in there.
This place has everything. Its the LAST of disappearing segment of electronic component stores. My visit was on 6/20/2015. I needed some connectors and found this place online. If you are doing any type of electronic work, go there, they have it all. Its better and more convenient than shopping online.Im not sure where the comments about stay away from the lady or the other negative comments are coming. Shes 65 and hes 75 and they are both extremely knowledgeable and are the last last of a dying breed of storefront electronic component distributors. I found them nothing but pleasant and wise. While I was there a few customers came in with very vague descriptions of what they needed I need a fuse for my thing said one. What size? What type? What is it going in? Why did blow? Did you bring the old one? These are all questions this customer should have answered before they entered the store. Know exactly what you need before you walk in (or bring the old one) and I promise, your experience will be fruitful. They have (not all inclusive):Surface mount componentsMolex connectorsJST connectorsExternal Antennas, cables and connectors.Small and large gauge wiresOscilloscopes, meters, frequency counters, jumpers, bench power suppliesCard edge connectors, circuit board headers, terminal blocks, project boxes, every video connector known to man.Every size capacitor (I saw 1 Farad), resistor, transistor, IC, crystals, circuit boards, soldering equipment, chemicals (flux remover, contact cleaner, epoxy, Loctite products)Electronic experimenters kits and breadboards (even more rare to find locally)They also have a warehouse stocked with components. Its what Radio Shack should have been and RS electronics used to be, before the acquisition. They are open on Saturday and closed on Wednesday. If you are repairing or creating anything electronic and live in south east Michigan, this is where you need to be. Its a rare place.
This store has all the electronic pieces and parts you will ever need. I repair pinball machines and they have all the transistors, resistors, capacitors, etc that I need to repair the computerized logic boards. I could order all of my stuff online but choose to shop local and support a local company, especially since electronic brick and mortar stores are pretty much all but dead and none existent. The older couple that owns this place however really need some help in the customer service aspect of owning a store. I kind of find it comical when they are rude or dismissal to people but it can irk you sometimes too. I was in need of a certain transistor that they had to look up in their computer system and midway through me telling them the model number the old man interjects “Is that all you have”, meaning is that all I have of the model number. It’s like no dude I’m saying it slow so the lady can understand me and punch it correctly in the computer! LOL Kind of quirky people but they can be quite entertaining as long as you’re in a good mood to take some abuse
I went to this store on a professional recommendation.I walked in to this to store to have a Police scanner programmed. According to Josh Sovis who is the VP of field reps for Uniden, my Bearcat BCD996T is a top of the line scanner and there is no need to purchase a new one. I went through a divorce and admittedly it has been in a box for 2.5 years. Wash Cty has went from analog to digital and I just wanted my scanner programmed.I walked in, BCD996T in my hand and the crotchety old lady with long black hair greeted me. I told her my dilemma and she began to berate me. She began with the scanner is not digital and it CLEARLY says digital on it., She told me that any scanner over 3 years old could NOT be programmed and I was a FOOL for trying to program it. I am sick of arguing with retards who THINK they know what they are doing, thus I left and simply said I was sorry for wasting her time. I am in the service industry and I was appalled at the behavior of this person.I DO NOT want to hear I was cheap or I did not listen. Money is NO OBJECT as I just paid 250.00 to have it done tonight. I called Mr. Sovis back and Uniden and reported this farm as nothing but trouble. And given the amount of goods that I am ready to buy and WAS going to spend here, I am glad the old crotchety woman showed her true colors.Go elsewhere. Go where you are appreciated.
Good store for quick parts.
Been getting real electronic parts here for over 30 years. This is where you can find the stuff you need to FIX your stuff.
It blows my mind all the things they sell the store the woman that owns the place is an absolute brain I recommend a visit for any electronics enthusiast
Good place to go for electronics in CB needs
Great selection of electronic components.
They've always had weird and hard to find items every time I've been in there. Don't know what people are talking about with the lady in there being rude, she's always been nice and friendly every time I've been in there. Just don't be an idiot when you go in. Use your brain, don't ask questions like "do you work here?"One thing that they do not carry, though, is hermaphorditic connectors, such as those used for wireless network adaptors. Prices are not the lowest, but you get better service than what you get from radio shack. If you are looking for a flux capacitor, this is the place where you will likely find it. They actually know about electronic components. When I was in college for electronics, they would always have whatever I needed for the labs in class. They were recommended to me by my professor at Schoolcraft.
Bitter old nasty lady. Extremly rude and degrading. Avoid at all cost
No website. The only place in town to buy electric components. A little pricey.
