If I could have given no stars I would have.Truly one of the worst experiences of customer service I’ve ever encountered.Lady at the front desk was pleasant but one of the female pharmacist was absolutely unprofessional. Had a prescription called in on a Friday, arrive the following Tuesday afternoon to pick it up, and they had not filled it let alone printed it. They told me I would have to wait at least an hour for it to be filled. When I asked if they would call when it was ready she said no were to busy. When I asked why it wasn’t filled yet despite being sent on Friday she said they have a new system and they are too small fill prescription that come through that way.If it wouldn’t have been for the fact that I was told by my sons Dr. that they are the only pharmacy that stocks the attachment being prescribed, I would have told her she couldn’t pay me to do business with the pharmacy. But my sins is 3 and needs the attachment in order to use his inhaler.I can see by their reviews that this is clearly how they do business regularly and that is sad considering they help people who are typically sick and need help. Not sure how they are even in business!I’ll never return!

My Dr. sent in a prescription for a compound medication. This pharmacy could not fill it. Despite the fact I called to make sure they got the prescription I didn’t find out they couldn’t fill it till I called back a day later to check in it as they told me it could take up to three days. Both people I talked to on the phone were nice however, it’s just poor customer service not to let me know they could not fill this.

Who in Gods name would show up to a patients house with ALS to drop off and instruct on a suction device and cough assist with NO MASK or gloves? Unbelievable. Person Frank should be fired. My sister had to REQUEST appropriate attire be put on.

If I could give 0 starts to this place I would. Honestly the worst pharmacy I’ve ever gone to. Between the customer service and the lack of someone not even answer the phones when you call here is atonishing to me. I’ve never seen a business more poorly run. The anchor pharmacy in Carroll hospital is so much better and I would recommend anyone going there instead of this establishment.

Out of control in this place. Sitting for 2 hours to fill a single prescription containing 12 antibiotics. Yes 2 hours sitting with 102.7 fever and they have zero decency. Its always a different excuse but same experience. Im so completely done with this place.

They greet me by name, theyre courteous, and they care. That said, its a privately owned pharmacy. It might be a little bit more expensive and your selection might be a little bit lower. But at the end of the day, theyre fast and theyll spend time with you. You dont get the same level of service at a big chain.Ive been going here since I was five years old and some of the same people still work here and theyre just is nice now as they were then.

Ive never had any problems with prescription accuracy, but waits are *very* long. You will probably need to wait a couple hours after your doctor sends it in before you go try to pick it up. I still used them when I lived nearby because its good to support a local business.

Physicians office sent prescription Monday am to Anchor at Washington Heights. Since prescriptions take them awhile to process, I decided to wait a day or so to pick up. Instead, I just returned empty handed today, Friday at 3:30pm, as it had not yet been filled. When I stated that this came through 4 1/2 days ago, how could this be, counter lady in green shirt told me they have enough business to result in this. If I wanted to wait, it would be ready in 30 minutes. When I told her it was an absurdity that this was not ready today, she expressed sorrow that I felt that way. I indicated Id return for it and turned about to find 4 other customers overhearing the pharmacys role, shaking their heads. One lady sought me out to say this scenario was beyond ridiculous, agreed that something has very negatively affected customer service at this pharmacy based on years of experience. This pharmacy is a convenient place for many people, including myself but they truly have severe workflow problems that cry for attention.

Horrible place tryi g to get CPAP supplies and say they dont have my script. Called several times with no returned calls. I hope people stop using this place. For being privately owned they deserve to go out of business.

Have been trying to get a cpap machine for months now. Forget about receiving call backs. Only one other supplier in area ....but was told they have negative reviews as well. Looking for another alternative at this point...I need a new cpap machine badly. I had to buy an old used one in the meantime to use.

There are other pharmacies in the area but those are cold, sterile places with no soul. I love this place because they have a lot of stuff not carried anywhere else. Medications and olde tyme candies I’ve found there. The people are friendly and if they don’t have your medication on hand they will order it for you with generally a 1 day turnaround.

They do not really treat their customers like anything but a client. However they are very precise. Reaching someone on the phone can be very difficult. And they do not treat their employees well at all. They may be privately owned, but they are another money hungry pharmaceutical company.

Anchor Pharmacy van passed us on a solid double line on a blind curve on route 27 at 7:30 at night on 10-24-16 when we were doing the speed limit. If a car came the other way it could of killed us! Thank you Anchor Pharmacy for hiring such low lifes.

I am a frontline healthcare provider. I was given a script for Jobst stockings and told I needed to be fitted for them; this establishment was recommended. I went directly arriving at 9:15 AM,entered the store to find no other patrons. I told the woman working what I needed, was told they would need to see if my insurance company would cover and I would need an appointment. I informed her I was prepared to pay for the stockings and would appreciate it if I could be measured while there. She said no..I need an appointment which would be any morning. Since I have my own patient load beginning at 7 AM daily, I cannot make thatappointment. I was denied. In the time it took going round and round, she could have measured my calf and sold me the stockings!! WOW.... I went elsewhere...walked in asked for the same thing, got measured and walked out with the stockings. Thanks for nothing Anchor.
