Food was awesome!! Purchased some amazing beer and one Bloody Mary that tasted awful. Went in to shop and exchange my Purchase. I met a very nice man who told me to go over to Customer Service. I shopped and brought my purchase and receipt to the customer service desk. The unfriendly women told me ALCOHOL is a final sale. We just spent 100.00 at the restaurant and I told her this is awful. Had about 50.00 more to purchase. She could have cared less. I left the store not purchasing anything as well as two more entrees I was going to grab for dinner. Was 3.99 worth losing a customer? I guess so.

The Standard Grill has great salads, burgers, and pizza. We also enjoyed the outside seating recently but the indoor seating is nice and clean too.

Long time customer for 8 yrs since I moved from DC. I came to think of this as my neighborhood grocery store. I havent been back since I was wrongly accused of shoplifting when I bought my large party tray, went back to get a coffee by the grill and decided to ask for a bag so I can hold my coffee in one hand and the grocery in another. Some worker came out and demanded a receipt saying I was acting suspicious. I lead him to the cashier who confirmed It bought the grocery. When I turned around he was gone. Not my neighborhood store.

I wanted you to know that at this point I do not feel comfortable shopping there because your staff is not wearing masks. There is food prep and close contact every where in the store. With Delta it is time to rethink your policies. Sorry this had to be public. That was not my goal.

The store is beautiful and products are good quality, however i will not return. As i was half way through the checkout line the manager found time to come and lecture me that i am in the wrong line, that i have more that 15 products and should not be using express line in the future. There were no other customers and i am not sure why she needed to lecture me about it. Well, there is not going to be another time for this store, because i will not be coming back.

Its a pleasure going shopping here. They have their bar with plenty selection of wines and tap beers. Cheese boards and good service. BYOB too. But you have to buy the wine there. Hi end selection of everything

Ordered from catering for my moms birthday. The food was fresh and delicious! I ordered the mini sandwiches, orzo salad (big hit) and Italian chopped Salad. Everything was fresh and yummy! I will cater from them again!

My food looked and was so good I forgot to take picture before.🤣I’ve tired the lobster roll in Boston and this comes very close to it. So Yummy 😋Lobster special this weekend sandwich, chips, coleslaw and complimentary glass of Chardonnay, what a great deal!

Very nice market with a good selection of organic produce. There seafood section is top notch as in their deli section. The premade meals as well as the diningare is very good too! Good customer service throughout the shop.

Excellent quality. The meat department is the best, I love the ready to grill meats they have, large collection, fresh and super delicious. The lamb kebab are my favorite.

Visited on Saturday and was helped by a very welcoming employee named Mia. She was attentive and had an overall very positive work attitude. Will be coming back and recommend shopping here for all your grocery needs.

Fantastic Butcher and love their wine and charcuterie selections

Wow and wow!! Three restaurants, butcher, cheese, deli, bakery and the list goes on and on. When you get out to cities and they have grocery stores like this oh my gosh. The staff is so dang nice and helpful I cant get over it. We got the gigantic pretzel its huge and will probably feed 15 lol! The wine bar is huge with amazing cheeses.

It was my first time shopping at this store & Im impressed. Their employees were extremely helpful. They basically did my shopping for me by taking me to the products.

We bought some sausages from them two days ago, and they have already rotten by today. Their meat are always dry and not very fresh. Stay away from them and be safe.

Just Finish Work rush to get a bottle a wine and 2 bottle of sparkling water for dinner with the wife… the checkout was a young boy under 21 years old so I went on the right side where Miss Cranky Sarah and refuse to serve me because she was busy Uhm and run off…. Went for couple of mins and told me she has the right not serve me for no reason no reason…. Ask for the manager and she for 10 mins gone then Steven the assistant Manager come light not nothing happen and ask what he can do the moment he say that I knew they will not serving and they told me is not my business to know their name!! I always shop their eat at the Tacos and the cube always been treating well this two individual has no place in this kind of business!!! And is the Mask Mandate and both wearing no masks…

Your exorbitantly high prices are beyond absurd and borderline CRIMINAL. Today I went in and paid nearly $70 dollars for 2 prepared pastas, 3 small containers of prepared foods, some snacking nuts and a 2 desserts. And they werent even that good! Perhaps this market should be called SUB-STANDARD market, to be more aligned with the poor quality they provide.

Visiting from out of town. Great service, wine advice, grocery selection and quality. More expensive than my Wegmans back home but a delightful shopping experience.

Beautiful market with plenty of choices of local and exotic foods.There are two eateries onsite: Standard Taco to the left and Standard Grill to the right.Great ambiance! Comfortable place to shop and eat. Everything is tastefully decorated!They have great, health conscious pre cooked meals in a bag at awesome prices! Great way to ease on into the weekend without the need to cool over a hot stove. Just grab a bag!

The market was spacious with a wide variety of products and produce. The market and restaurant is a bit pricey. The market offer hard to find products, which deserves the higher price. But for common items, other supermarkets offers more discounts. Store is clean and organized.

One of my favorites. Always fresh and delicious. Yes, you might pay a bit more than other stores, but the quality is worth it. Especially at the seafood and butcher counters. Ordered out from the grill tonight and it didnt disappoint.

Ok, this review is based on my 2020 Thanksgiving catering experience. I am a loyal Standard Market customer, by this I mean that I shop there monthly in addition to Whole Foods. My family and I, before Covid19, would dine in several times a month. Im really disappointed with most of the food that I purchased for Thanksgiving. I would typically do catering from the Naperville location all year round before that store is permanently closed. The Naperville store DEFINITELY provided a more personal customer service experience and better quality catering. The rotisserie chicken that I received was NOT the freshest chicken that Ive had from the Westmont store. There was no glaze/sweetness on the bourbon glazed carrots and the bourbon was watered down. We did enjoy the herb stuffing, along with the very undersseasoned turkey gravy. The mac n cheese was a big disappointment because it was just noodles and some shredded cheese that was thrown in. I couldve enjoyed it a bit more if there was a mix of cheeses to make up for this lack luster side dish. Just a few months back I tried the lemon garlic chicken breast from the catering menu, and that was fine. Moving forward, the grilled chicken will likely be the only item that I will possibly try again from the catering options. Quick update, I did notify customer service via email online about my dissatisfaction with the chicken and no response at this point, one week later.

One of the best cheese shops in the Midwest. They even have a cheese aging room right next to the bar, where they showcase their ACS award winners!...and if Dan is around, dont hesitate to ask him for a recommendation. He knows his cheese!

Delicious food for a grocery store, for anywhere! Everyone that works here is very helpful and accommodating. Excellent deals in the cube. The quality of drinks you get here would be way more expensive elsewhere.

Always a pleasure to shop at Standard Market as there are specific gourmet items that make a hit. The tiny chocolate mousse cups with a fresh raspberry atop and raspberry jam under the mousse are quite the treat! They’re in the bakery section, in the refrigerated counter. Fresh fruits and veg stay fresh for at least a week, usually. There are difficult-to-find old fashioned candies/sweets. I love the Spinach-Artichoke dip in the section of Standard Market-made items. A new favorite is the brand Garrett Popcorn Shops, “Simply Strawberry” popcorn in a 5.5 oz. bag, hot air popped with real strawberries and caramel (altho’ there’s no daily vitamin value in there, it’s addictive). For a quick meal you can buy a slice of pizza, or a salad, or sandwich to go. All of the staff, from the floor to the checkout, are kind, courteous, and willing to help and keep a very clean store.

Watch out for the meat at this place. Just ate rotten bratwurst. A few weeks ago they sold dried out old and rotten chicken thighs. Not going to risk it again.

My previous review was regarding the cake section. This time it is the prepared food ( delicatessen) section.I purchase their bake only gluten free chicken enchiladas for dinner. Thought it was going to be good, but man, I was wrong. Extremely disgusting. My other family members trashed it right away. Waist of money. Never purchase their prepared foods again...Be aware of their cake section! I recently purchased several different types of cakes to try. I expected a market that is high end to have quality deserts, but I was mistaken. The quality of the deserts were the same as non- high end markets. The cream puffs were inedible ( taste as those they sprayed with preservatives) . From this experience, I will no longer purchase deserts from here

I was craving something sweet when out in the area, googled bakeries and Standard Market popped up. I am so glad I decided to check them out because the bakery selection was exactly what I was looking for! Everything looked fresh and delicious. They had a large selection to choose from. I got an ultimate chocolate chip bar cookie that had a cream cheese layer and more chocolate chip cookie crumbled on top. Wish this place was closer to home! I will shop here again. The grill smelled good and they have an outdoor patio area to sit and eat if that is something you are looking for.

I’ve been coming to Standard Market for years. Whether it was a shopping trip or just getting lunch/dinner at the Grill and Cube everything was always on point. I’m not sure what’s been happening behind the scenes but I’ve been noticing a steady decline in the quality of a lot of things. Their burgers at both indoor restaurants used to be top notch but now are just okay for the price. Their pizza at the grill used to be phenomenal but after a few changes it’s now something I wouldn’t buy. I even grabbed a few to-go slices today near the deli and I didn’t notice until I got home that they were ice cold. How long could they have been sitting there? The coffee stand inside also seems to close earlier every time I find the time to stop by, since somehow no one must drink coffee after 12pm. My experience here has been a mixed bag and even though they still do great on a lot of things, they need to step their game up if they want to charge such premium prices for a sub premium level of quality. I’ve seen how well this store did over the previous years, but now I feel like it’s just riding that previous wave of quality all while cutting costs.

Awesome gourmet market. Great selection and great prepared meals that you can take home and heat up. The grill restaurant is also a great spot. Highly recommend. Great for families. Excellent slices of pizza from the deli as well, its good New York style. Some of the better in the area.

This is a fancy grocery store, prices are higher than other places, but produce is great, they have ingredients you dont find other places, prepared meals. Coffee shop in the store serves high quality coffee. Bar has about 8 good beers on draft and some good wines by the glass. Two restaurants attached to the store. Favorite spot for a quick dinner out.

I have high standards when it comes to coffee and Standard Coffee&Tea hit the bullseye each time I run in before work to grab a latte. I hold good coffee to the standards of tasting authentic and not drowned in sugar, comparable to coffeehouses such as Dark Matter Coffee & Buzz: Killer Espresso in downtown Chicago. I may not be able to go downtown often now that I work full-time but the coffee at Standard Market hits the spot. I like this coffee much more than the big chain places (you know what I mean). There is never really a line here so to be able to pop in and grab my coffee and leave for work is a breeze! Its really neat that they put some latte art on their lattes even if it is to-go, I highly appreciate it. The staff is friendly each morning and they are good at what they do, and that is to make good coffee -Well done Standard Market, Well Done.

My friend and had a few beers at the bar and it was great! Troy (the bartender) had only been working there for a couple of weeks, but he was friendly and very knowledgeable. His service made the experience much better than expected.

Love this market! Aesthetics are wonderful. Vaulted, warehousey ceilings, farmhouse/country feel. Soft lighting and a comfy vibe. Great variety of market, bakery and wine offerings, plus 2 restaurants.

I wish there were of them around! Their people are always helpful. They have a lot of unique items and ready made Items that you can pick up and just warm up for dinner. Their chicken Enchiladas with rice are a family favorite! Great sushi. You can also eat in their restaurant or have a couple drinks as well.

It was my first time shopping at standard market. I wish I knew about it sooner because it has great selection on ready to make meals or meals for large parties. A lot of fresh, healthy foods that are perfect for lunch time at work or on the go. It is pretty expensive compared to other stores but it does have a great selection.

I drive a 1/2 hour to get to standard market. They closed the Naperville store. Now we have to go to Westmont, but its worth the drive.Great selection of high quality food. Best cheese selection anywhere. Experts to help you choose the right wine at the right price. Great ready made choices for take home.

We went here today after passing by it so many times while driving down on Ogden. What a great little grocery store this was. Prices were reasonable compared to what youd spend at other places with similar vibe, busy happy bar, the lunch area food was pretty good (staff was super attentive), and well, we enjoyed the take home dinner meals they carry. Pretty satisfied with our experience. Well be stopping by more often.

Visited the Standard Market as a suggestion from one of my clients and we met there for lunch. Its an upscale market with a lot goodies. The food is good and they bring your lunch to you to your table the restaurant. I had some sort of salmon dish which was delicious. Recommended for business lunch with clients or coworkers.

This rating is for the Mexican taco stand inside the store and not necessarily for the store itself. The taco place had some of the worst, tuff lowest of the low quality carne asada meat that I had tried to eat in my whole entire life. I cant believe that a place this bad can still have any customers. The prices they charge for this garbage food, is that of a premium Mexican restaurant. I have been here twice, but this is it!!! No more. Ill rather go down the street or drive 30 miles to get real Mexican food.

They will happily take your money but not your ID to purchase any alcohol, even though every other super market, restaurant, and bar will happy serve you in Illinois. Worst customer service. Had such high hopes for this “premium” shopping store - never coming back again.

I use to shop here all the time and loved it. I just recently moved back after being away about a year and a half. This was one of my first stops and I was very disappointed in the produce. I bought some fresh sliced strawberries and had to throw most away as they were bad. All of the lettuce looked a bit wilted and a little brown on the edges. I did buy some items from the deli counter which were good.

Nice market with a great selection of indie or local brand & hard to find gourmet-ish goods. Employees are friendly & helpful. Prices tend to be a bit higher than Supermarkets (less Sales) but its a refreshing change of pace for those who choose to spoil themselves. Also a pretty good, casual restaurant & a taco shop on the premises.

This is the best grocer for seafood in the area, I only shop here for those special meals a couple times a year. Milk is twice as expensive as Jewel, but but for me its not a regular thing. They just remodeled and the layout has a more natural flow.

Tried the tacos for the first time today. Over priced and terrible! If you like tacos go anywhere but here.

Just got back from my first visit to a Standard Market. The selection is great and the food is all fresh-looking. There is a huge variety of foods, unusual cheeses, candies and pastries to choose from. This place is like Trader Joes and Whole Foods rolled into one and put on steroids. The only down side is the price. Everything seems to be very high-priced. Asparagus was twice what the going price for springtime asparagus is at other markets; the price of cheese was through the roof, though there were a lot of specialty cheeses that would be hard or impossible to find elsewhere (some were priced at more than $32/pound); apples were beautiful, but, again, the price is far above normal supermarket pricing. the gourmet goods were plentiful,but at $10 for a small jar of marinated artichoke hearts, I will have to spend my money elsewhere. We visited the restaurant area only to find a basic hamburger (no table service) ranging from $9-14....I predict that Standard Market will do OK in Naperville where it seems that there are lots of people who dont do (or perhaps dont need to do) comparison shopping. Maybe Im a little too frugal with my hard-earned cash, but my first visit will probably be my last. There are too many reasonably-priced stores in the area to consider over-paying for groceries. Standard Market is a nice place to visit, its clean and certainly has variety, but at a price.

Amazing chef driven supermarket. Its like a whole foods but nicer. The staff here is friendly like a Trader Joes. It would be my new favorite store if I lived closer but I dont.We stopped in for a fantastic quick lunch. We sat in the sun on the outdoor patio and had a Herb crusted Bistro Beef Sandwich with caramelized onions & blue cheese, a chicken noodle soup & an Israeli couscous with apricots & cranberries. Everything was fantastic.The store had many great features to it including a bar serving craft beer, wine & cheese. I also enjoyed watching the bakers making cookies.

A great grocery store with a better than average meat counter. I do like the fresh pasta and the meal kits have been pretty good. They also have an excellent app.
