I am new to the area and had 22 items checking out. By accident I got in express lane. I unloaded and the cashier started yelling at me for having too many items. I was shocked and said I was sorry . She continued to berate me in front of the entire store, as she scanned my groceries. I started crying I was so upset. She said, “ it’s a gloomy day and we all get cranky”I’ve tried calling 4 times to talk to the manager and they just put me on hold for 20 minutes.Last week I encountered a cashier supervisor yelling at a cashier . It is so much easier to speak in a nice voice . The lady was older, brown hair with glasses and a bit overweight. I’d love to file a complaint but no one answers the phone.You have made me regret my decision to move to this area. You have lost a customer, not that it seems to be a big deal to your staff… just be nice . Find some love, some Jesus …

Check all items for their expiration date before buying. Many items still on shelves since 2018. WOW!Tread carefully, the coating on the floor makes one lose their footing, so walk slowly especially with rubber soles. Also, do the math, compare sale prices to regular prices of same items i.e. 10 yogurts for $10 compared to 2 4pk + 2 single for $9.99 or less.

Clean and easy to navigate any items you need

Just moved to the neighborhood last week. This Jewel is right down the street. Great location, store is very nice!! People are friendly, clean, well stocked. I use a motorized cart so I was glad to see there were several available & fully charged. Parking is convenient & well lit. Very good experience... Thank you!

I came here to cash in change and the lady at the service counter snapped at me that the machine was by the door. I kindly asked her if they were not charging a fee because they had a sign saying that last week. She started yelling at me that they charge a fee. Very rude thank God I dont live near here where I have to use this store on a regular basis. I would give them zero stars if I could.

Its a typical suburban Jewel/Osco. It is clean and most of the employees are nice. They have Old Style in the beer section as well as a nice selection of craft beers.

Love this Jewel. I drive 8 miles to visit this store. Always clean and well organized. Stocked to the brim. Love it!

Was so happy to find them! They are just like Safeway could even use same number for just for u, friendly staff, well stocked and clean.

I shop at this Jewel often not only because all ofthe people who work there are extremely nice and helpful, but I also like how clean they keep the store.In comparison to other jewel stores this one seems to have a wider variety available to you.A huge selection a flowers can be found in their floral department.As a courtesy to their customers, if youre unsure where to find an item, they have put a list of items and which row you can find them on the middle end caps.And if you still cannot find the item your looking for, you can ask any employee who is walking around the store and they will make sure that you get all the help you need.As a bonus theres a Starbucks conveniently located inside. And there is an access to the UPS store from the inside and outside.

FIRST TIME COMING TO THIS JEWEL AND NEVER AGAIN. Something that should only take about 2 minutes at self check out took me over 10-15 min. On 5/28 at around 2:30 pm the employee who was in charge of self check out was just roaming around talking to people like she wasn’t on her shift. I’m sorry but if you want to not work then call off please, all of us customers have places to be. Also, I spoke to the front end manager asking for help but she didn’t to bother move to see what’s going on. Worst customer service I’ve seen.

The only place I know that my items will be bagged correctly. The baggers are taught well. No meat with vegetables, no chemicals with food, etc

Jewel Osco in the suburbs were clean and all the staff there are all hardworking and nice.

Lately have not had a good experience !! I put in a wing order and went to make sure and the worker did not put in . thank god they took my order . got slimy turkey breast and was refunded,

This location is large, clean, and organized. I like that they have the self check-out option, but the station I used on my last visit was a little persnickety. The other problem Ive had is with the deli. I bought lunch meat in the deli and had an allergic reaction after eating it. I have a dairy allergy. This indicates to me that they sliced my lunch meat on a slicer that had been used for cheese. I know that they are supposed to keep one slicer for cheese alone. If it wasnt that, then it was cross-contamination by another route, perhaps gloves.

Terrible costumers service. I went at a self checkout line and asked Karen C. For help on code for tomatoes . She just turned and said this is a self check line, i can’t help you . I couldn’t believe in what I’ve heard . She just walked away . I waited few minutes to talk to a older lady - manager and she just told me the same . What if I as an example have problem reading ? This what just happened I’d out of this world. Why do you even have employee standing around there if they can not help. Disaster of a menagment along with their costumer service . Never again, avoid this place !!!!

The only good Jewel around this section of the western suburbs of Chicago. Probably why it is always so busy. Great staff, usually well-stocked, and very clean.

Jewel-Osco is the most popular grocery market in IL. for me. I love their fried chicken, grilled chicken !

Like the sale prices but I have had it with self-checkout. With only 2 cashiers working, you are pretty much forced to do self check out because of lengthy lines.There are always glitches with the computer and the bagging area is only big enough for a couple of items. Ridiculous. Every time I fill up a bag & start a new one, I have to wait for assistance because for some reason the computer doesn’t like it. I had to wait for help today no less than 5 times. Scanning & paying for groceries shouldn’t be that complicated If self checkout is the way of the future, you must improve!!

Pharmacy way overpriced. Jewel-Osco responded but do not respond. In contacting the BBB for the way a manager treated a Veteran. Management is disgusting and they have not addressed the issue. I hope he takes them to court. PM me for the Video link. Bigots suck

Worse customer service in my lifetime STAY FAR AWAY FROM DRIVE UP AND GO waited for 45 minutes to bring out 4-5 bags with missing items I was charged for. I checked the bags immediately and even checked both paper and email receipt. The guy was still around putting groceries in another vehicle so I respectfully waited for him to finish both cars before I informed him. So now he ask for my consent to search through my groceries to make sure I m not lying I guess so I agree, after he don’t see the item he says he will go inside to get it. 30 minutes later I’m still there with no updates nothing, so I proceed by giving them a call and the guy says they will give a refund. NEVER AGAIN please stay away spend your money somewhere else

They do have a bank ATM but thats all I have except for the cashier was very curious to me.

I cant stand shopping here. They were the only place that had the cheese I needed otherwise I wouldnt go. Hopefully itll be another year before I need to go back. Cold impersonal environment. The slowest deli counter ever! And it takes forever to check out. None of the staff seem to care. I have such a better experience shopping at just about any other grocery store you can imagine

Well stocked for food items

Avoid this store at all costs if you are using their pickup grocery plan. They are horrible. They kept giving us incomplete orders. I called them on one order and was assured the missing items would be sent at no charge, but when I received it many were still missing! Called again and was promised the missing items, and got someone elses order. Will never shop with them again.

Varied selection. Helpful staff

Both the checker and badger were exceptional. Bagger un-loaded most of my parcel for me. That was a huge help considering my disability.

I wish they took better care of their mobility scooters. Their shoppers like me are getting old and disabled and cant push a cart thru the entire store. When the scooter croaks I stop shopping and check out

Yesterday we had some items delivered and the driver was so rude! Normally we get our products delivered into our office and dropped off. The gentleman was very rude to our secretary and condescending. We work at a large business building and the driver left all the deliveries in front of the building and left. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! This really deters us from using your stores for future purchases. Our items could have just been taken by anyone, and the delivery guy was very mean and super uncooperative. Please get back to me so we can discuss future deliveries...

Everything is always well organized and clean. The workers are always helpful and respectable.

I give five stars for their outstanding pharmacy. Their pharmacy staff is better than most of the staff in the compounding pharmacies in Illinois. They are super knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and go above and beyond. The rest of the store is a mix of amazing and hideous.

Great selections in the front of store of current specials. Love the fact that at this location Starbucks espresso 4 pack is on an end cap and easy to find as well as Starbucks frappuccinos. Also their floral section looked well maintained and had a good selection of flowers. This location is very very busy. Seemingly at all hours. Aside from the busyness I will probably shop here again. ALSO I do have to give a shout out and a big thanks to JASON the manager for his assistance with a parking issue I had there. Thank you Jason!

Overcrowded and under staffed!

The mens Bathroom is nasty.The smell is horrible. Smells like they dont wash it at all. plus the ceiling looks like it is about to fall in over one stall.

The cashier Cathy had to debate with me regarding the $20 bill I gave her for my purchase. The manager was called over to count down her drawer because she insisted that I was lying about giving her a $20 bill. The manager came right over, opened her drawer and viewed the $20 bill and immediately began to offer an apology. I dont accept it and Ill never come back to this Jewel ever again. Racism will not be tolerated!!!

The customer service provided here at the Ogden and Cass Avenues Jewel/Osco was a great experience. From the deli to the dairy sections, all throughout the store was excellent. No shortage of any items. Stop by there shop and even catch a Starbucks coffee.

I needed a 2032 battery and they had them, on a day when strangely a lot of stores were closed inside of their working hours. So plus on that. However if you want a quick snack like a small candybar, they aint cheap.
