Nice Selection but many records I have purchased from this store have come scratched! Recently had one so bad I returned it, only to have the record I got in exchange come so scratched up that it is unplayable as well. I wish they gave some indication to the condition these records are in on the labeling or packaging. Most of the records have been playable, however I wish I knew what I was getting into bed with before purchasing!

Stopped inside to find a last minute birthday gift for my dad and was immediately surprised by the wide variety of selections at Blue Village. Staff was friendly, prices were fair, and I loved the collectible case in back. I’m looking forward to returning and checking out more of their stuff!!

Great store like the old day record shop

I love browsing in this store and talking with Andy and Rick, the owners. Store is clean and organized. I love looking through new arrivals every few weeks, and I ALWAYS find records that are interesting, including one by Colorado musician Alan Kelly who was my friend in high school in Chatham, Illinois!

A good spot for vinyl and other bits of music. Looks small, but chances are youll find something youve been looking for.

We just bought a record player and we struck gold when we found this store.They have everything you could want. Endless vinyl to go through! We will be back. I always listened to my parents records and I was able to purchase a lot of the same ones. They have quite the treasure trove!

They have a great selection of vintage records. A little sparse where NEW, metal, or hip hop is concerned but otherwise eat your heart out.

I work down the street and have started coming in every couple of weeks. They have a wide selection of vinyl with new stuff coming in on a constant basis. My favorite part about shopping here is they do a fantastic job putting out clean records that arent beat to hell. The sleeves might be worn but the records are typically in VG or better condition.Definitely stop in and check these guys out!

Love this record store for vinyl and tape. Equipment. You name it! Lots to dig so come with time on your hands. Prices are generally fair and new stuff flows in pretty regularly. Owners are nice folks too with a good knowledge of music.

This place is amazing. I love coming here. They have huge selection of used records plus they keep a good flow of brand new records coming through. Also, they have record players, stereo equipment, video games, movies and tools all fairly cheap. Everyone there is friendly and easy to talk to. This is by far my favorite record store in the 630 area.

There is a fantastic selection of jazz. Its really hard to find such a large selection anywhere and theyve got it! They also have a ton of other genres. Their staff is very friendly and helpful and they always put the records in a nice plastic sheet which is definitely a plus.

Staff was super helpful and nice. Also the prices were very reasonable. I would recommend Record Utopia if you are looking to expand your record collection.

How did I drive by this place so many times and not know it was there? Oh right, no sign. Really fun vinyl assortment including possibly 1000s of 45s. There is also a very eclectic resale shop here. Found some cool original albums and a snoopy snow globe. Garage sale whenever you want.

I love this store. They have a great selection of vinyl and other media too. If you need to sell your old records this is the place to go. These guys definitely know their stuff.

This place seems small but its packed with worthwhile things. Most stores would have 30 copies of the Beatles something new, and about 80 more Beatles records but this place might have about 10 Beatles records but they always seem to be the ones you dont have. This guy has great prog rock sensibility, he is very nice to chat with, he has never given us a record that was not of quality (accept maybe one from the dollar to 3 dollar section but that is to be expected. All in all this place is amazing.

This place gets more amazing every time. Great deals and a great atmosphere. The owner is also a nice guy who likes to talk.

Great shop, unbelievable selection. I spent a little more than I am used to for old vinyl records. Some even still have old price tags on them from other stores (i.e., bargain buy 1.99!, plus the Blue Village price tag at $12, which just makes u feel like youre overpaying) however Id definitely go back. In addition to vinyl, they have collectible memorabilia - posters, signs, figurines, juke boxes... You can get something great for $1 here, or spend thousands. I dropped around $200 in Xmas gifts here, and am very pleased w my purchases, as were the gift recipients :)Great place to go for yourself, or to get a unique gift.

The Blue Village Vinyl & Resale recently moved to 29 E. Chicago Ave., Westmont, IL 60559. The previous building on 309 Ogden Ave., Westmont area has been used to sell many entertainment products & collections over the years. It was REMEMBER WHEN store for many years until the owners retired. Next it was 2NDHAND MALL with the same type of entertainment products. Now it is called BLUE VILLAGE VINYL & RESALE with the same type of entertainment products available. The previous building had a lot of history. I go there to find good used or newer DVDs or any entertainment products I need. There is a huge selection to find what you need.

Nice place has a little bit of everything, and the prices where pretty reasonable. The staff where nice.

If you like classic and old vinyl this is the place to go!

If you like metal, they dont stock it. If you dont like metal, its a decent place to go.
