Very impressed. You can bring in your own containers. I bring jars. They weigh them, mark them at the bottom as to how much they weigh. Place is clean. Has a variety of teas, coffee, pasta, flour, beans, nuts, candy...its not well seen from the street. Product is priced per pound in most cases. Good place to experiment and try things you havent yet tried... i.e. I want to try all the different teas, but I can pick up a little at a time and not in a giant box at the store.Edit with additional. Just bought some honey roasted cashews....I dont think Ive even had cashews this fresh before. Amazing.

They have Japanese rice crackers. Not truly authentic but closer to home. The real one is up in mitsuwa, Arlington heights

Great place to get a wide variety of spices. You dont have to buy an entire jar. You just purchase what you need.

A blast from the past! My mother took me here as a young lad. I stumbled across it when I was getting some Subway nearby.This place still rocks. I spent over 50 bucks and didnt feel bad about it. They have everything you need in the right portions. No one I know needs a full sized container of Cumin, why not get a small amount that you will use and not throw out when it expires. They have coffee, peanut butter, candy, spices, and the best orange cheese powder.The strip mall its in is sadly dying but please support this business because they have everything you need and the prices are great!

Im thrilled to have found this place again! Years ago they had a smaller store in Barrington, and we were so sad when that closed. Im big into the Zero Waste / plastic free lifestyle so its wonderful to have found a one-stop shop for everything besides produce. Also great to support a local business!

I love bulk fresh pantry. The Fantastic thing is that they have tons of Christmas candy and you could get just the spoon of it if you choose. Going to make gingerbread houses and using the candy for decoration.

I absolutely love and appreciate this place so much!! Amazing selection which allows to to buy exactly what you need with no wasted product and no packaging waste. I hope stores like this become the new norm. I was so excited to find that not only was there a bulk store like them in the chicago-land area, but so close to home.

Just recently found this wonderful place on a recommendation from the person who cuts my hair. I purchased some black sesame seeds which really kicked up my VitaMix Hummus recipe. I also bought 3 different roasted peanuts (unsalted, honey, and butter toffee coated which I made into a spectacular peanutbutter in my VitaMix This place is so amazing and you can purchase the amounts that you need

I have gone to the shop for some years. I would be able to get small amounts of dried herbs and spices, dried beans, various flours and lots of nuts. Because dried herbs lose their potency pretty quickly, I made it a standard thing to go there in November, before the holidays when I would be cooking and baking a lot, to replace old herbs and spices.

Nice grocery store where you can find bulk foods. Bring your own bags, containers and a sharpie. You can weigh the containers and write the empty weight before filling them. Staff is very friendly.

Fantastic store! So many items, such variety... Everything is in bulk, so you can get only as much you will use ... very very cool! All types of candy and all types of healthy nut mixes and ssoooo many ways to enjoy chocolate... chocolate covered everything! And, its all so cheap!

Its an interesting store. They have candy Nuts flour Spices. You can have fresh peanut butter made. Its a little pricey but well worth it.

Hard to find because their sign still says Home Economist and that isnt lighted. Persevere, and you will find an amazing collection of bulk grains, spices, candies and nuts. Only place I know in the neighborhood that has fresh hazelnuts!
