Great place grab quick breakfast! We knew this place for a while and finally got to try it after we took our dog to the Winslow dog park (super close). We loved the breakfast bagel sandwiches there. We ordered the no. 9 Fresco on an everything bagel and no. 11 the University on a sesame bagel. The food we received had the bagels switched on the sandwich type we wanted, but it wasn’t a big deal to us. They were both very tasty! We like that they had everything we liked there and weren’t greasy at all! The bagels were more on the soft side if you’re curious. You can tell it’s a popular store with the long line. The service was fast regardless. Would recommend this place to our friends and families.

This is a good place to eat. Great customer service, but even with that there is a lack for safety and hygiene. Certain employees a older gentlemen and short Hispanic man seem to like to wear their safety mask on their ear rather than their face! This is not the first time that this has happened and it is a continued problem even after complaints. I WILL NOT he eating here anymore with a lack for consumer safety

Ate here for the first time while in area. Very good breakfast bagel sandwich. The bagel needed more flavoring for what I ordered. Coffee was fair. Nice people, good service.

As a lifelong, Brooklyn-born bagel lover, I regret writing that Village Bagels (Westport/Southport) makes a mediocre bagel at best. I dont know if its my imagination, but I remember them tasting much better a few years ago. Just had an everything bagel with butter this morning, and it was airy, tasteless and missing the soul thats baked into every good bagel. Even the butter tasted like a cheap margarine-like spread. Owners, if youre reading this, please go back to the basics and make good bagels again!

I finally went to Village Bagels in Westport after wanting to go in for a long time. I was immediately met by the most friendly awesome guy Harry who made the hell out of a bacon egg and cheese on an egg everything bagel for me. Super fresh and tasty. He definitely earned a returning customer! He also threw in some free rainbow bagels for the kids so double score! If you like fresh bagels and lots of fun cream cheese flavors check it out and ask for Harry!

We just moved to the area from out of state and are still getting familiar with the area. We had a bagel sandwich about a week ago at a different Village Bagels that we liked, so we decided to check this location out as it was closer. Unfortunately they are not affiliated and so the menu was different. But the owner was really welcoming and helpful and made the same sandwich which turned out to be even better than the other location. He knew we had just moved here, so he even threw in a couple extra rainbow bagels for the kids. Awesome NYC-caliber bagels and a really welcoming staff.

First time coming here, bagels were amazing and fresh and the staff are very friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be returning!

More than half the time i go here they are either out of bagels in the flavor that i want or their line is too long and moving too slow. i would think everything bagels are popular? how is it a bagel place constantly runs out of them and other popular flavors.

I had the sesame bagel with cream cheese, a farmers special and home fries. The food was good, the bagels were fresh and filling but I felt cheated from the order of home fries, very skimpy on the portions and I might as well have ordered a sausage egg and cheese because the farmers special was overpowered by the dominance of the sausage. Couldnt taste the ham or potatoes and the cheese was nearly nonexistent. A solid sandwich on paper, slightly failing in the execution but still very tasty. Solid option, better than dunkin but still has me at 3 and a half stars.

Bagels here are exceptional. Large size, soft inside, perfect crust. Omelet was delicious. Home fries are well done, tasty. Good coffee too. 😂

Coffee is a little too thick for me, the bagels are good and the hot egg sandwiches are great. Enjoyable aesthetic as well.

Orders are consistently incorrect. food is mediocre and over priced.. Pricing on menu v.s what is charged is never accurate!!To top it off, the staff is incredibly rude!have been a consistent customer for quite some time and have always over looked the bad attitudes and mediocre food for the convenience of the location but I will never be back and will make sure to spread the word.

Time and time again have gotten my order incorrect. The manager is extremely rude when confronted about the incorrect order does not acknowledge you whatsoever and moves onto the next person. The menu on the website is consistently not accurate with pricing, ordering something as simple as an egg and cheese is supposed be $2.75 according to their website. when you get there ends up somehow being $5 dollars. The cleanliness of the restaurant is subpar to state the least.I won’t be back.

Decent food, but charge you $.55 to use a credit card? Its 2020...

A family tradition - either pick up bagels and bring home and / or eat in with my young adult children in weekend mornings. The bagels are as good as the conversations and memories together.

I wish there was an option to give negative stars!! These 4 reviews must be paid for by some customers! I went here last week and the service was terrible. When I was ordering they were trying to rush me, meanwhile nobody was in line. The food was burnt, and when I told them, some employe replied, Tough Luck. Excuse me!! Ive never heard such an ignorant response in my life. Never coming back again, thats for sure..
