Matt went above and beyond to assist me in the design and implementation of a highly functional, aesthically GORGEOUS kitchen! I told him my budget and my design style and he was knowledgeable about all of the options that were available. He took immense time to re-work many changes that were made throughout the renovation and also gave me useful ideas about other areas of the home that were under construction. He continues to offer guidance and support even 4 years after the installation of the kitchen...! He can work within every style and every design preference. I will always consult with him before considering any project as he has incredible contacts and suppliers.

I just had my kitchen and master bathroom done by gallery of kitchens. The work was very detailed with many walls coming out. Matt did such a great job with the whole project from start to finish. We got the St Martin line of cabinets painted shaker door with white quartz countertops and brushed brass hardware. We are very happy and would highly recommend this company.

My new kitchen needed a lot of work on the design part because of the many doorways and walls Matt came in with some of the best ideas for the design by removing the walls that no one other the Gallery of kitchens came up with. We had a problem with the kitchens TV audio system (ceiling speakers stopped working) and I contacted Matt for his recommendations on contractors. My experience with Matt Cowan and Gallery of Kitchens was wonderful. So professional and kept to our schedule. The worksite was left clean each day and both the new kitchen and bathrooms look beautiful. I highly recommend Gallery of Kitchens and Baths in Westport CT.

Hired Matt Cohen to help us design our kitchen renovation. Also bought cabinets through him. Though the finished kitchen looks okay, we feel we overpaid for what we got. Two specific issues: (1) We are not happy with the quality of the cabinets recommended (Hanssem). The soft close doesnt work unless you slam the doors. The finish of the cabinets on the outside is okay, but on the inside, the cabinets look like they are from Home Depot, (2) The microwave and sink cabinets were incorrectly measured and had to be re-done. In the end, we were not able to get the microwave or sink we wanted due to the incorrect measurements.Matt makes plans by hand, not computer. While he made corrections wherever possible after things went wrong, not all mistakes were correctable. We could have probably got better quality cabinets cheaper if we had picked IKEA. One point of comparison are the handmade, custom cabinets done by our contractor for our den. Much cheaper. and much better.
