I am nostalgic for the days of book stores. I loved leisurely walking down aisles and browsing the selections. I loved the music section where you could sample the sounds. This is one of the last brick and mortar bookstores left in town. Although it is a chain store, there is something so nice about the tactile touch of books and the conversations with employees and other patrons about their recommendations. That experience isnt for everyone but it is a dying sense of community.
Great Bookstore. A little pricey but well worth it with everything they offer. Have a coffee, read some magazines and dont leave without looking at the Barnes and Noble Leather-bound Classics. They are worth the trip themselves.
The smell of books and Starbucks makes me think of my mother and the wonderful moments we’ve spent reading side by side. Plus they have an excellent selection of board games and puzzles.
Thankful this bookstore is still around and dispite covid, its still an awesome experience whenever I go in to shop.
Love this store just heard its moving downtown really sad about it. One major reason now it has a large parking lot. Downtown No parking, for patrons or employees in an already busy section of town.
Great book store with reasonable prices. I wish they were closer to online and had better signage when things were on sale or discounted, but Ill support them to keep a brick and mortar around. They also have a decent sized cafe and areas for kids to play and stay entertained while adults shop.
Hi Barnes & Noble. Happy have visited you after your reopening. Woman at info desk was very helpful in locating the books I was looking for. Thank you all for following COVID safety measures.
Very helpful staff, well-run. And thats very rare now.
Efficient and clean with a well read staff always ready and willing to help!!
Wonderful book store and great coffee and food shop inside. Selection of books and magazines are plentiful. Amazing place to sit and drink coffee and browse through the aisles of books. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Dont buy the Godiva chocolates as they were stale. One aisle had empty book shelves and did not look attractive. Very clean bathroom
Great selection of books especially when on sale. Good reading area and star bucks cafe. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff
Really good vinyl selection and a place I can depend on books
I’ll delete my review if you change the status of this bookstore to closed.
Lots of parking. Sorry, but Ive not been inside, my daughter meets a tutor there. Smooth asphalt, lines are easy to get the car between, and its flat, but well-drained. The asphalt is smooth and black. Havent had any problems with snow, or with random carnivals taking up a lot of spaces. Havent seen too many motorhomes plugged in for the night. Alwaysys empty spaces, and you dont have to pay. Conveniently located abutting a road.
The layout of this B&N was a little different from other ones Ive been to, so that confused me for a little bit. Other than that, the staff were helpful and cheerful and I found everything I was looking for! Physical book stores are the best medicine.
Always a great family experience. We have been going to the location for many years and always enjoy it. Their activities are always great fun. They have moved quite a bit into the related toy department but if thats what it takes to keep a bricks and mortar book store going, Ill take it. The psuedo Starbucks in store is a great place to grab a bite and relax with a book.
They have a cafe which serves Starbucks items, but they dont accept SB rewards/cards. Not a big deal, just strange. Quiet, chill spot to relax, and check out some new books or magazines. I wish they would add some more comfy chairs or some plugs.Update: They added more comfy chairs 😁. Check out my photo. Still no plugs though. Bring a full battery for all of your gadgets. Leave the toaster and hair dryer at home though.
Nice place. The sales clerk felt it necessary to tell me they had no bags. When I saw several hundred bags next to her I mentioned it. She felt the need to tell me how the bags are hurting the environment. I sympathize with her cause but needed a bag to hold the books I bought. She became upset and short with me. Not the best experience. Really should come up with a way to deal with that as its not a good customer experience. All and all a nice store. The Starbucks doesnt accept the Starbucks app. As a side note
I love you Barnes and noble! I would be lost if this location were ever to close. Always a good spot to read and my buy books at a good price. I love the accessories.
Nice, quiet and smells lovely. Great selection of reading material and friendly staff. Includes a built in Starbucks for convenience.
My happy place. Good service throughout the store. I love the café, where I can sit with a good cup of coffee and read and write.
I absolutely love Barnes and Noble. I love picking books and reading/choosing them while Im drinking a coffee. I love their kids section as well.
Check-out staff could be a little friendlier. Unless they need one of those Big mistake! moments from Pretty Woman. You get the gist.
A great Barnes and Noble. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, an excellent childrens section, huge music section with lots of vinyl, a Starbucks, tons of eclectic board games, they have everything. This is my go-to place for last minute gifts.
I go there with my three kids and while I drink a coffee, my kids relax reading and searching for new books. BN has something for any age. From 1 to 99 years old. They love this place!
Great meeting place. Very kid friendly. Staff helpful and friendly.
I go here all the time, mostly for books and relaxation and it never fails to deliver. they have loads of stuff and searching for it is easy
Its a book store. Worth supporting if for no other reason than to make sure books are still available at places that arent Amazon.
The store went through a recent rearrangement of its resources. The result has been that the store feels more open, more welcoming, and books are now presented better, so I expect that sales will increase. Good going, B&N!
Great store with large selection and cafe. When I need a new book, I know where to go!
Very good book store. Friendly and helpful staff. Great to see a brick & mortar bookstore thriving.
They have a play area and reading area in the back which my son loves. We stop by once a week. Staff is friendly and I usually have no problem finding a good book for my son.
Always a pleasant experience when I visit this store!
Very helpful personnel. Great selection, including sale items. Take note - they have shortened their evening hours.
This store is difficult to notice from Route 1 as you are driving along. The parking lot is odd with tricky entrances and exits. The cafe is a good place to meet friends for coffee. The story is well laid out, has a good selection and the staff is friendly and helpful.
I can understand its Westport but the prices are outrageous not 1 books or magazines were previously priced then you get a shock when you get to the register. I was buying 2 bibles new testament version only to find out the cost was a penny from $100. Shame I say
We found the books we needed the people working there are nice and helpful. If they dont have a book they order it for you and you can pick it up few days later.
Very friendly staff. the place is clean and all smiles. I left my wallet and they held it for me.
Enjoyable atmosphere, good selection of books and magazines, friendly and helpful staff, great coffee!
A great bookstore. The coffee bar is great. A true brick and mortar experience.
Great book customer service. Didnt have the specific book I was looking for in stock though. Their Starbucks employees seem overwhelmed though, with minimal customers to help. I got skipped by the staff and the people behind me all got their drinks before they realized they forgot mine. The customers in line were rude as well.
Huge variety of books and periodicals. Beautiful classy gifts for literary lovers. There are places one can sit and read and the staff is friendly and helpful
Just a nice book store, plus childrens toys for gift time. Nice place to sit and relax.
Nice to have a live bookstore where you can look at 1,000 books and pick two, have a cup of coffee and people watch.
Best place to buy books as gifts, beautifully wrapped by helpful clerks.
Books. Coffee. Magazines. Air Conditioning. Pretty much what youd expect. A good place to hangout for a few hours.
There is a very big problem olways when i try pay for books theres no cashier!!! And i have to weit for cashier somebody where is casier, its joke store always when i try pay i cant!!! Because nobody there!!!! Casier works on the store and move the books!!!!!
BARNES & NOBLE is one of the best places to share some Quality Time with your children, have a good coffee and read amazing magazines. Thanks B&N
Excellent customer service, very friendly and polite. I just wish they had more chairs.
Large bookstore with a broad variety of books and magazines. Great café to read, work, or catch up with friends or study together.
Extremely helpful staff. Always accommodating and most important quite knowledgeable.
Great atmosphere and friendly service. Restroom was disgusting, unfortunately.
The store maintains an admirable level of unobtrusive customer service. You can always get help, or just as easily be happily left alone to browse.
I always loved bookstores and there are so few left! Used to be a night out to have dinner and go to the bookstore.
Nice, clean Barnes and Noble with super friendly staff. When the Starbucks on Route 1 is packed, drive 2 more minutes to the Cafe here, which rarely has a line.
I love this book store, good selection, pricing is good and staff pleasant
We had our jazz band play at Barnes & Noble as members of Bassick HS bought books and had them signed by the author. The staff was welcoming and students were at ease with people mingling and enjoyed listening to Bassick Jazz Band. Good event!
The only book store left where the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and they arent kicking you out in 30 minutes. You can really relax and read a book.
The customers who regular this BN are the worst entitled people in the world. They act like they own the place and are extremely rude to the staff. The staff are the nicest people even to the snobbiest most disrespectful lowlifes that come here. I witnessed two parents who werent together leave their kids in the store and go to the car to complete their affair.
One of the last Barnes & Nobles around. Still like the old days: coffee shop and lots of books you can read before you buy anything.
Very helpful and couldnt be nicer.
Great service and lots of helpful employees willing to help you have a good experience
I have been a loyal customer for 20 years.
Extensive books and gifts sections, well-organized with helpful informed staff.
Its still a good bookstore but half the space is devoted to toys and games.
I wasnt too keen them after Borders closed, but I have grown to love this store.
Nice intimate place. Great drinks and the burgers are to die for.
Had a quick cup of tea and found the book I needed.
I enjoy just going into the book store sometimes to look around, have a coffee and relax.
Good place to go for quiet to read or do some research. Large selection, almost like a library.
Loved it. Super selections. Time to browse.
Always have the books Im looking for . Great costumer service .
Huge selection of books, very helpful staff, and a huge parking lot.
Friendly staff and its nice to have the Starbucks there too. Lets support the only bricks-and-mortar bookstore in town!
The best place to grab a birthday gift! They wrap your gifts for free!
I just love browsing in a bookstore. So many have gone.
Love to spend time browsing finding that special book.
A wonderful retail bookstore to browse and enjoy Starbucks coffee.
Always friendly and professional . Great customer service.
Always enjoy browsing the books. Its hard not to buy something.
Amazon a better deal
My wife couldnt be any more happier of going to this place
Staff was very helpful. Great experience.
Great selections for different genres
Please dont close. Theres so few left.
Very good, the workers are super help ful
This is a good place to relax away from home and read.
I had a wonderful time here.
Best book store ever!
I love book stores. The staff is very friendly.
Fantastic place to choose books and read while having a good time
Great quality and consistent
Staff are helpful, selection is great, seating areas and lounges could be more diverse, but over a great quality store for your literary needs.
Always love going here for a book!
Store Manager helped me find what I was looking for and ordered what they didnt have .
Very helpful.
What I like about this Barnes and Noble is that there is a wide selection of books, magazines, journals, music and childrens toys and books. I especially like the Starbucks in the store which allows me to meet with a girlfriend and catch up after Ive picked up a few magazines or a new cookbook to add to my collection.
Its Barnes and Noble. Unfortunately, I mostly am buying toys here.
