Best car buying experience I’ve ever had. It took me longer to drive to the dealership than the time I was in there, which is unheard of when purchasing a car. Top notch from start to finish. Matt the Sales Manager took my call and set me up with Dondre. From the facetime tour of the car to the big red bow on it when I arrived, I can’t say enough about Dondre’s understanding of true customer service. In my car search I spoke to pretty much alll of the dealerships between VA and CT. If youre on the market for a used Lexus, do yourself a favor and skip New County. Ive purchased 3 Lexus vehicles from 3 different Lexus dealerships and this was hands down the worst customer service experience Ive ever had at any dealership. Salesman are spread too thin, finance guy dodged calls and unprofessional. Simply asked they touched up rusty nicks in the paint with the correct touch up pen and they got one of the many with what seemed to be white out. I will never return to this dealership, I would have preferred to pay thousands more to avoid the aggravation.
Evan Palumbo, thank you for the great experience, in buying my ES350. Right from the start looking at inventory on line to phone conversations there was no pressure. Went in to test drive a 2021, told Evan before I arrived that in no way were decisions being made that day, and at the end he honored what I said, and just said how did you like it, and let me know what more help I can be. The numbers in the long run didnt work for us, went home that night and saw aL-Certified 2019 ES350 with very low mileage. Called Evan the next afternoon to take a look at it up at the Fairfield lot, me there, took it for a ride, and said SOLD.Hes been following up to make sure Im happy with the purchase and anything else he can do. When my husband called the East Haven dealership, he was given very pricey quotes. Chris at the Westport Lexus dealership gave us the best deal, worked with us extensively and was very accommodating with our wishes of making the transaction as contactless as possible. He responded to all my questions promptly, any time I called or emailed him.We got the Lexus model car that we loved with the specific trims we requested and a really great deal. Bought my 2013 acura tl from here. Everything was perfect!! Had bought an audi previously from a better way autos and they sucked!! With this dealer got continental tires at 70%, oil change, new wipers, breaks. Comparing to a better way auto, audi had 4 different tires on car, dented rims, busted wipers. My wife and I walked in with no appointment and we were immediately welcomed by the receptionist and Mike Stone who became our salesperson. Mike immediately got to know we were past customers with New Country Lexus of Westport. It was a very low pressure sales experience and Mike spent as much time as we needed or wanted taking test drives, showing us the cars in the showroom and lot and showed us our sales options including trade-in value. I purchase a certified pre owned car from New Country Lexus of Westport on March 1st. I was told my loan was through Bank of America and my first payment would be April 1st. I waited for my paperwork to come in to make my first payment. April 1st comes and still nothing from Bank of America. I call the bank and ask if they have an account number for me- maybe my paperwork got lost in the mail. They look it up and say no loan exists under my information. I get connected to another department where I’m told the loan took 25 days to clear (usually takes 3-5 business days) but it took longer because the dealership made several mistakes. I should have still gotten my account number in the mail. Over the weekend I get a letter from the bank with my account number. I try to pay it over the phone and it says there’s no account in the records. I try to pay online and same thing- it says the account isn’t right. I then go to the bank in person and ask if I can pay it there. Again I’m told the loan doesn’t exist. But how did I get a bill then?! I’m told that this is the dealerships fault and I need to contact them. I’ve called New Country Lexus of Westport 3 times in 3 days. I’ve told this story 3 times. I’m told someone will call me back and no one returns my phone calls. Who has my loan? Who has the car title? Will this ruin my credit? Is my car going to get repoed? Do I call BBB?
I just purchased a car from Lexus of Westport 3 weeks ago, I was waiting for my registration paperwork (I am in NY) to inspect and register my car. I was told this car was never been in an accident, and when I questioned why the back washer wasnt working, I was told by the Salesperson Kwesi Osafo, that he wasnt familiar with an Audi car and only deals with Lexus cars. Well, to my surprised they sold me a damaged car. I took it to the Audi Dealer in NY, and I was told the car had been in some kind of accident the the cables on the back washer and back camera were switched, and it will cost $380 plus tax to fix it. I also were told the front tires were old and I need a new ones, and the license rear plate bracket was stripped by Lexus, and it will cost another $300 plus tax to fix it. I have been trying to contact them to let them know about this, and called multiple times, and left many messages, and I am yet to get a reply back. Also, they knew about the accident, but they knew it take 30 to 60 days for it to be posted on Carfax, so they were rushing to do the deal, before it was posted. Now I am stuck with a vehicle that had an accident, and I will have to deal with the loss when I try to sell the car. Definitely I will NOT ever recommend anyone to this dishonest and poor customer service dealership. The worse experience ever!!!!
Just had an excellent experience with Dave at New Country Lexus of Westport. I purchased a 2020 Lexus RX350 (used - loaner) with 6,000 miles on it. Dave did not pressure us, and was not pushy in any way. He was knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. I highly recommend asking for Dave if you are looking to purchase a car. Next we dealt with Gabrielle in the Finance Department. I anticipated a stressful experience but it was actually ok. Due to the type of license we had, a trip to the Motor Vehicle was warranted and it was all taken care of for us and then the car was delivered to our home (we live one hour away) Great service. I wouldnt hesitate to return to New Country Lexus of Westport.

I was very disappointed by the service at this dealership. It took them five weeks to process my purchase because they continuously made mistakes with paperwork, did not respond to my emails and phone calls, even made me wait three hours past an appointment time. I am not typically the kind of person who leaves a review but the customer service here was awful. While the salesman was always pleasant, his associates were not and I was even scolded for making a down-payment. After a few weeks I contacted a manager to explain the situation in hopes of expediting the process and he never responded to any phone calls I made and when I sent an email it was disregarded as well. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Maybe if I wasnt purchasing a used car through them and buying a new vehicle they would be better, but there are no excuses for the poor quality of service here.That being said, they never wavered on the price of the car and the vehicle was in excellent condition when I came to pick it up. I just wish the rest of the process had been as good.

I was interested in a car here. Drove over an hour to test drive it and afterwards was supposed to get a call back about information on the car to finalize the deal. They neglected to call me back for days. I call again to follow up and they assured me that they would look into the request, again. More time passed after which they then tell me that the car is not certified and they made a mistake while listing it, but did I still want it at the same price. I said that I wanted a car with a warrantee and I asked about if there were warrantees that could be added to the vehicle. They first said n, then said they could check. I waited more days with no response on that. Then get a call from a different person all together and when I call back to follow up on that call, they acted as if they did not know who could have called me or why. I again said I am interested in the car but asked about warranties at this point have waited over a few weeks with still no answer. I am told they will look into it and talk to the manager and call me back. I get a call about the warrantee which they dont leave the information for on my voicemail as to what the conclusion was, so I have to call them back again and then they dont return my call again for another 3 days. I called back today only to be told that the vehicle was sold. I have never had to work so hard to have a car sold to me, which has been sitting on the lot for a good while now. I had to do all the follow up, which is ridiculous. I honestly am annoyed at how much of my time they wasted and while nice people, follow through and follow up is sorely lacking at this location, so I dont think I would venture back here to buy another Lexus. Too much wasted time for a serious buyer. The customer should not have to wait for follow up and keep calling back to have simple questions answered to finish out a deal.
For a busy Saturday and considering that I was a walk-in, the sales staff in the pre-owned dept. were pleasant, friendly and welcoming. The sales team seem to be on the same page with ensuring theyre driving the customer experience and assisting all customers in a timely manner. I was fortunate to be assisted by Dondre Clarke who was very honest, helpful, professional, attentive and proactive especially throughout my car buying experience. If Dondre was unsure of how to answer a question or address any concerns, he would assure you that he will get back to you with an update and a solution in a timely manner. After a frustrating experience at a nearby Lexus dealership, I gave New Country Lexus a wary try, and from the outset of the visit, Kwesi allayed my concerns and sold me on his and the dealerships excellent customer service, and ultimately, a new vehicle. Kwesi was friendly and engaging and listened to what I was looking for, was knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and very thorough in outlining the features of the different cars I was looking at. He didnt try to oversell me, and he was also very transparent about next steps and timelines. I also appreciated the customer care from the entirety of the dealership (very friendly and seemed genuinely appreciative we were there), and Gabrielle continued the strong level of customer service through the business-end of the sale.I never buy extended warranties or add-on packages, but given the level of customer care I received, I felt confident that having my new car continue to be seen/serviced by this dealership would keep me in good hands.Highly recommend.

I have been using this firm for my free service that came w/ my 2018 Lexus. Because it was a new car, there wasnt much to do on the car other than normal maintenance. For these items, the service department treated me very well, started and stopped on time and gave me very good details as to the work they did and what I should watch out for on the next visit. Very polite and professional. Because my service has been free, I cannot speak to my sense of value for the price.

My only complain is that there was a big gap in time between finalizing our deal and signing the paperwork, I would recommend the business office having more availability especially on the weekends. I owned a 2001 RX300 and decided it was time to replace it. The choice was between a Highlander Limited or another Lexus. I made the correct choice. I purchased a 2010 RX350. It was actually a few thousand dollars less than a comparable Highlander.Everyone there went out of their way to make this a positive experience. That is usually not the case when purchasing a vehicle.Nick (manager) insured all the prep work was done correctly and on timeNoel (sales person) was very knowledgeable and helped me get as much as I could for my budget.Rick (finance) helped us through what is usually a complicated process. We also received a decent interest rate.Jarred (tech guy) spent an hour with us explaining all the features the car had to offer, he has a lot of patience.I havent dealt with the service department yet but I am sure there will be no issues there either

Sarah and Anthony helped me work out a deal to purchase a new 2018 Lexus RX 350 F Sport at the New Country Lexus of Westport on August 31, 2018. Sarah was always available via email, text and phone. Due to the nature of my job, she was always available during odd hours throughout the week. Her responses were prompt and always in detail. As I was coming from NY, she even offered to pick me up from the metro north train station. In terms of price, this dealership was very aggressive to earn my business. We had been in contact with a salesperson in regarding to driving from 3 hours away to see a specific car. The salesperson advised he would let us know if the car sold prior to us planning to go see the car with plans to buy it on 4/14/18. We spoke to the salesperson on 4/13/18 to set everything up. We left the morning of 4/14/18 and upon arrival were told that the car had been sold the day prior and none of the salespeople knew who we were. My husband could not remember the salesperson’s name as we have been dealing with multiple dealers. After waiting for about 5 minutes watching one of the sales guys talking with a manager who appeared to be scrambling trying to figure out what happened, my husband walked into the sales manager’s office. The sales manager told us the salesperson we had talked to had to leave due to a family emergency which is why we weren’t called. This was after they had told us that no one had our name. Wouldn’t you think that in the beginning they would have realized it was the salesperson with the “emergency” if that were really the truth? The sales manager seemed a little shady and my husband said he didn’t believe his story and then the sales manager started giving him attitude. I would think that he would have been extremely apologetic and understanding that we were upset after driving 3 hours. I would never buy a car from this dealer with such a lack of attention to the customer experience.

The experience at New Country Lexus of Westport was the best ever. I have purchased/leased 8 vehicles in the past 15 years. Going to a dealership is not something I am ever eager to do based on the slimy games played by salespeople. But the New Country Lexus of Westport team was far better than any other experience. They understood my wife and I from the onset. They did not try to oversell or manipulate us. Michael is the General Manager and hes the reason this entire establishment is functioning at such an exemplary level. He sets the tone and the team follows and just mindblowing awesome experience. I was there for a service recall. They kept my car for more than a week. I got my car back with check engine light on. Everything was working fine before. They want me to pay for fix the check engine light which came on while they are working on service recall. Not happy at all.

This service department has made it almost fun to have your car taken care of. They really go to lengths to please. Theres fresh coffee, doughnuts and power stations so you can keep doing your business while they take care of theirs! About as good as it gets!

The fact that I am leasing my eighth Lexus from New Country Lexus of Westport should signal that I am a happy camper! The service is superb from the moment you are in the shopping mode to when you need to begin service appointments on your new leased car. Yulissa, Anthony, Mario in the Sales and Business offices are all tops in making selection, financing and delivery seamless. The service department is the most comfortable in the area if you choose to wait while your car is serviced - for a longer service appointment, I have always been provided with a loaner. Believe me, you cant have a bad experience at this dealership...eight times without a slip up - pretty good track record for me! Our sales person John Gouveia, like the entire Lexus of Westport Team, was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He listened to our concerns and questions, and came up with a solution for us. I personally hate car shopping, but wouldn’t hesitate coming back to Lexus of Westport, because they made it easy, didn’t baffle me with technical data and words/expression I don’t understand…just worked out a great deal for us. I have already recommended this dealership to friends and family, and will continue to do so in the future, definitely 10 out of 10.

My brother and I entered the doors of New Country Lexus of Fairfield, and we were approached by sales representative Noel who immediately gave us a courteous welcome to the dealership, and offered assistance. Noel was very polite, helpful and efficient, answering all our questions and making us feel like valued customers. After choosing a car, completing the initial paperwork, Noel introduced us to his manager Ricky, however, due to our busy schedules, we had to return to the dealership within a few days to complete the transaction.We were again greeted with the excellent customer service from Noel. He then directed us to his manager Ricky, who proceeded to complete the transaction. Ricky was courteous, efficient and accommodating. Both Noel and Ricky provided stellar customer service which makes us always want to do business with New Country Lexus of Westport, and refer this dealership to our associates, and anyone looking for a great used car dealership.
Went to this dealer because they had a large selection of Cert Preowned vehicles at good prices. Wasnt disappointed. Did a test drive. Got good explanations of all the features from Dondre....no haggling. Bought the car. Pickup was fast but thorough. Would deal with them again.
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with The New Country Lexus of Westport. Everyone was friendly but your sales associate, David Matys, was exceptional. He was polite, courteous and professional in answering all of my questions. We felt none of the usual high pressure sales tactics employed by other dealerships. David also took a lot of time out of his busy schedule explaining everything there is to know about the 2014 ES 350. My experience at Lexus of Westport was almost great. They say that they are a haggle free dealership and I would say this is almost true. However, with any dealership that sells used vehicles there is going to be some negotiation. I was very pleased with the service and care from sales consultant Dondre, however, the policies within the dealership itself was what I was not thrilled with. The vehicle that I ended up purchasing had a few notable defects that I will not mention. However, the only way they would accept my offer (which was slightly below their listed price) was if the dealership didnt have to repair the 2 notable defects. While I accepted the offer after some time, I was unhappy that the dealership would force me into accepting an offer under pretenses that they didnt have to make small repairs and give me a car in the correct condition. I knew it would be cheaper to make the repairs by myself which is why I eventually accepted the offer, but it was a matter of principle. With that being said, the friendliness and helpfulness of Dondre was very much appreciated and I appreciate the professionalism from him throughout the process.

Ive purchase/traded in several cars over the past several years and my experience at New County Lexus of Westport was without a doubt the best I haver ever had. Im not wealthy and honestly thought Lexus was out of my price range. I normally dont write reviews, but they earned this one. Thomas from sales was not pushy like your typical car salesman and we drove several different cars before finding the right one. I told them where I wanted to be on my payments and they actually made it happen (I was ready to leave even if they were $10 off my target price). Overall, I was impressed and extremely satisfied. I hope they continue to do quality business! New County Lexus of Westport is a diamond in the rough among car dealerships!
Very pleased customers of new Country Lexus of Westport. From the moment you enter you are treated by friendly, professional and caring personnel. Our Sales Consultant (their term, ours would be advisor and friend) Mike Stone listened to what we wanted in the new car were were getting. This being our third Lexus, we were interested in the newer upgrades from our 2015 that would be in the 2018. Mike explained and demonstrated the new features, and patiently and with the utmost determination, searched to get us the vehicle we wanted, in the shortest period of time. My wife and I found Mike to be probably the best Consultant we have worked with. His patience, knowledge and friendliness made the leasing of the car effortless. We would be remiss, if we did not also mention Jared Epstein who handled the nitty-gritty paperwork and sales followup. A thoroughly knowledgeble and easy-to-work with person. Last, but by no means least is the Tech Advisor, Uri, who went through the various tech settings and how they differed from our previous Lexus.Bear in mind a dealership sales cars,but it is their Service Department that is going to maintain your vehicle,and theirs is one of the best. Which is another reason we deal with them.

My experience here was outstanding. When I called about a car, Michael Kaesmann picked up and made me feel comfortable immediately. He was friendly and professional, and I could tell that this was going to be a top notch dealership. I commuted from NYC and it was well worth the trip because the car was in beautiful condition. Mike showed me the car and explained all of the features really well and gave both my wife and I as much time as we needed to examine the car and take it for a test drive. He also took the time to get to know us as people, which I appreciated. This was my first time buying a car, and I really felt like I could trust Mike and the rest of the staff. Since the car had a Pure Price, I didnt have to worry about negotiating, and I could just focus on deciding if the car was the right fit. Also the price they set was very fair based on the market, and was really a good deal based on the model and mileage. When I decided to buy the car, both Mike and Joe Jacob (the Business Manager), were incredibly helpful and diligent. Joe was able to secure financing for us at a great rate, put together a spectacular warranty package, and setup all of our documents correctly so there wouldnt be any issues with the DMV. Joe also explained everything thoroughly and answered all of our questions. I really felt like he treated us as if he were selling this car to a family member. Overall I was extremely impressed with Mike and Joes professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail. Also the dealershipwas incredibly tidy, well organized and upscale. I could also tell the cars on the lot were extremely well taken care of. Im a very happy car owner and whenever I need another car, I will certainly be back again.

I got to the service location earlier than my appointed time. My car was taken in immediately. I was able to work in the comfortable customer lounge, had tea and a danish, plugged in my computer and worked until the service rep called my name. interestingly enough, he noticed that i was working on my laptop and told me to take my time until I as ready. Then, he reviewed the service with me. We exchanged pleasantries and i was walked over to my car. A very pleasant, frictionless experience.
