Wonderful place . great smelling soaps and classic candy but my favorite was the ice cream. best pistachio ice cream Ive ever had and has a whole pieces of pistachio in it. none of that fake green ice cream stuff.Also if youre feeling dangerous try their coconut curry ice cream I surprisingly loved it and it is officially on my top five best ice creams list.

I was surprised to see so many great offerings! Grabbed some “Hip Hop” Kombucha, Basil Infused Olive Oil and some grain free dog treats! I’ll be back for sure. This is a great stop for people traveling through CT looking to get a bit of culture and a break from 91.

This is a wonderful place for gifts, candy, and toys. There are old fashioned candy jars filled with a variety of popular candies. Stonewall Kitchen products and artesan flavored oils are available. You can also get baked goods and ice cream.

I love going into this store. Huge variety of fun gifts for all occasions. I found fun gifts for adults like silly candles and kitchen towels. They have products with CT and Wethersfield pride on them. They also have fresh bread but it does go bad fast so free what you dont need that day.

Sadly since the original owners left its changed and not for the better IMO. Ive had 2, less than friendly experiences with employees recently . I was looking for certain candy that I have gotten there in the past and I asked the employee if they still had it. No, was all I got in an abrupt and unhelpful manner. The old owners would have, at minimum been apologetic and friendly, but usually they would ask if you wanted them to order it for the future. Today I got a one scoop cone which was literally the size of a golf ball (for $4 plus tax). I thought the employee was kidding. I questioned the size and the price, he said its grass fed. Its still a fun place to look around, but the employee vibe is a buzz kill.

Maybe my expectations where too high but the selection wasnt very good.

Went to this store one day during the Christmas tree lighting and there was a lot to find. Lots of local merchandise, snacks, drinks, etc. You name it they probably have it. Plus the prices were very reasonable. If you have not been here before I suggest making a visit one day.

A cute shop to slowly waunder thru on this rainy afternoon. Picked up some Peach Salsa and fresh donuts. Lots of hard to find candies and stocking stuffers unique items and oils.

Interested and helpful staff, fresh and delicious food, drinks, includes vegetarian and vegan options. Breakfast served all day, lunch, soup, salads! Eat in or take out for a picnic etc. Great organic farmers style grocery market. If I am I am in the area, I stop here whenever possible. Friendly customers, nice conversations. Community or private seats available.

Of course I loved it. I was on holiday and I love the village of Wethersfield!My friends buy their milk there and the selection of cheeses is lovely. The candles are lovely but a bit pricey for my taste but my friends love them.The staff are wonderfully welcoming as are most people in Wethersfield.I wish I could visit more often!

This place is super cool. They have all kinds of old-time candies and toys from the 60s and 70s and everything modern as well. They also have every spice you can think of, pickles, olives and Specialty olive oils. You will not be disappointed if you come to the store.

This is an awesome place to visit and shop because it has something for all ages. During the holidays, they decorate the store in a very festive fashion, and they follow trends like letting Pokemon players know that they have Italian ice and Kombucha. Best part is, its great to be able to have a local store that carries such a wide selection and be able to support them.

Very easy to miss spot but worth a visit! They have all kinds of local and great products from organic cold brew coffee to NORA cupcakes and everything in between. If youre in the area and looking for some great local stuff in a cool store with great service, stop in, you wont regret it.

Amazing candy selection. Theres an entire wall and a half of sweet options. They have a variety of other goods too (Wine, seasonings, misc. other food), but sweets are clearly a major focus. Definitely feels like and old time country store. Thrilled to see that its doing well.

My favorite little place. So out of the way for me but worth every second. Cannot beat their cheese selection. Staff is absolutely the best. Best place to get all locally made food in the area. Would kill to have a place like this up north.

First time ever in this store . What a good day in Old Wethersfield. With a Country Store to go with the location. The owners are so down to earth . Such a delightful cozy place . There is alittle of everything. From homemade soaps to real ingredients hot cocoa. They have so much. I was able to find Apple Butter. I have not had that since 2013 when we were in Pennsylvania in Amish country. They have and support others local business such a bakery items . Definitely going to in again .

When it comes to shopping local this store is my number one pick in Wethersfield. They have so many fun nostalgic gifts and unique treats. I am always looking for excuses to spend my money there. The people that work there are so very friendly.

This little store is Country Store 2.0 - a cross between Faces in North Hampton, an old fashioned penny candy store, and an ice cream shop - all with a Connecticut twist. Unlike Faces, the novelties are rated PG mostly but are still vintage, kitchy fun. The ice cream is from Grass Roots, a Granby creamery making some of the best ice cream in CT, if not New England. This hidden gem in the center of Old Wetherfield is definitely worth checking out.

I have gone into this little store which is actually a very lovely store and the woman in there is a very very nice person. There is a young man in there may be late 20s or early 30s who is the nastiest thing Ive ever encountered. He is obnoxious rude and I will never visit that store again simply because of his attitude

The Harry Potter theme was very fun, and the butterbeer float was great. Also picked up some keto friendly sugar free chocolates that are delicious. Definitely recommend visiting before the Harry Potter theme changes! The customer service was acoomodating, helpful, and kind.
