Im suprised at some of the reviews. I at first though the same thing. Why wasnt I getting my machine if it was so improtant? Why wasnt I getting phone calls? Until I realized it wasnt J&L it was the medical assistant from my doctors office. Once me and J&L realized this communication was smooth and everything was up and running. They went hard to get me my machine and supplies because the MA wasnt doing her job. And when I needed a different mask it took 5 min over the phone and they sent it out for delivery as an emergency so I wouldnt go without.

Worse customer service I’ve ever experience! Mimi had to finish her lunch and day don’t even look up at me over the counter as she’s cleaning out her avocado.She proceeds to go off on me because I didn’t have an appointment. Another young lady came out to try to defuse the situation and Mimi kept putting a two cents for being horribly rude and loud.It’s a store front not a doctors office…. how was I supposed to know that. Just so obnoxious.

It took a long time for this company to get it together to finally get me my CPAP and oxygen. It took multiple phone calls from myself and my provider. Once I was finally able to make an appointment Michelle(Wethersfield office) was fantastic and helped me with everything. After reading all of the other reviews I realize that everybody else has the same issues. Now I know to make sure that when I need new supplies that I follow up to make sure that its getting done before I run out. Thank you to everyone who was so honest in their assessment.

After struggling for over a week with Lincare personnel who were horrible, I decided to directly call just J & L Medical where I actually picked up my CPAP machine. They resolved my issue honestly and fairly. Next time, I will always contact J & L directly. Lincare takes days to even return a phone call. I got through to J & L in Wethersfield in a matter of minutes.

When I am expecting a delivery they don’t show up or call so I’ll go without oxygen. Over the last 3 weeks I’ve been calling because they have not delivered my oxygen and it’s becoming a constant issue. I’ve been dealing with this nonsense for the past 2 years. They are nonchalant and could care less about their awful customer service and it’s frustrating

Worst, rude, customer service! And Im also pretty sure they commit insurance fraud. I was supposed to get a new tank for my cpap machine every few months but they never got one until lincare took over. Too many years have gone by but Id bet they still charged my insurance company.

I first got my CPAP in 2003 when J&L Medical was just being established. John had just started the company and man they were great!When John retired and sold it to LINCARE, they have turned into an awful company to deal with. No longer can I go to the local J&L Medical Office to get supplies in a pinch, everything is mail order (might as well go to CPAP.com --cant be any worse...).Never the less, after nearly 20 years, of dealing with J&L Medical Now LINCARE - it is THE WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH!

Please have your medical professional find an alternate provider! They do not call back. After 3 weeks, we finally got a call back only when I complained about not hearing from them. Terrible!

The worse customer service, not sure why they are still in business. A family member passed away in the home and we have been calling for 3 days to have a bed removed. They never showed up on the scheduled pick up. I do not recommend them to any one. Wish my folks had read the review before using them.

I cannot for the life of me understand why there are dis-satisfied customers with J&L. I have been on a CPAP machine since 2007, and have only dealt with them. Whether it was an appointment at the store, or just in talking on the phone, I have found nothing but professionalism. Every need I had was met, and every question answered. J&L is a very good company!

The staff could be a lot more friendly. The 2 people I worked with were very curt & abrupt. They volunteered no additional info that would have helped me use their equipment better. I go elsewhere for much better service.

If I could give 0 starts that is what I would do. This company has failed multiple times to deliver LIFE SUSTAINING oxygen to my boyfriend. Multiple no shows and not even a phone call. When calling the corporate company and they even state they get multiple complaints for the same problem and this company is still in business is beyond me. Unacceptable medical company!

Horrible customer care, very sad because they used to be an amazing company ... I have now went 2 months without my needed cpap supplies . I have made about 10-12 phone calls and spent countless hours trying to get my supplies ... I finally received my supplies only to find out they sent me PRODUCTS for a machine I don’t even own ... I was told on multiple occasions a manager would call me which has still not happened ... Sleep apnea is a serious condition I pray no one suffers Unnecessarily due to the negligence and lack of customer care provided by J and L medical. Most of the people I have spoken with have been decent with me on the phone but yet nothing is actually coming to fruition from it .... I will now be looking into ways to file grievance if at all possible I’m thinking possibly the department of consumer protection but I will do some research prior to this .... If you have the option DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!

When you have sleep apnea you NEED SUPPLIES - HELLO! this has been the WORST experience- 4 weeks and counting with no movement...no supplies. And you have to continually call for status update or to realize there are NO updates as they do not have an automated tracking system. If I could give less than one star I absolutely would.

Fraudulent business. Charges you for services not provided & have no explanation as to why. How can you bill someone just on a whim. Case in point, received $120 bill for Billing Correction. No prior communication, no information as to what this was for. When I called the billing department, the lady said it is a new monitoring fee required by Insurance for monitoring. What monitoring? There is nothing set up, there is no communication.. and suddenly I see a billing that is overdue. I asked them to show the contract & the fine prints. Nothing available. Stay away from this business. Will have to file a complaint against BBB as well.

I had a scheduled appointment for 1:00 pm, and arrived at 12:45 pm. To be greeted by a very stern and unfriendly female in her late 30s. She told me she was on her lunch break and I was to leave the premises and come back at my scheduled time. I came back at 1:00 pm along with another customer, this same female asked for our names then stated this one is for me, I dont know who she is referring in to me. The lady that met with me was lovely she was in her late 40s to 50 ish short brown hair. Its a real shame her professionalism did not extend throughout the business.

These people make waiting for the cable guy to show up to the house during that 4 hour window a walk in the park. They didnt show up and then wanted us to wait another two hours. The next day they tried to contact my wife during her mothers funeral. Now the blew off my wife after promising her that they would be there at 1:30. Ill be there at 3:30 he said. We wont be there. Their customer service needs new management . Its just not right to get this kind of treatment at anytime let alone after losing a family member. Update: I left work to meet the driver who promptly picked up their equipment and wrote me a return receipt. He was professional which would lead me to believe that the companies problems are within management.

My husband has been trying to get CPAP Supplies for over 7 months and has been getting the run around from this company. They transfer him from Department to Department and keeps getting different stories. He was told he owed money (which Insurance is supposed to pay) so we paid the money. But no supplies were sent, then he was told he needed to change the chip in the machine and they would send his supplies. But no supplies were sent. Needless to say the poor communication and customer service have left my husband with no supplies and he is using a mask and tubing that is falling apart as he tries to sleep at night. He has Heart Disease and Diabetes and needs to get good quality sleep. Hopefully the Doctor will hook him up with another company because he is at his wits end.

My husband has sleep apnea. This company checked out his machine. They removed the modem from the machine so no one has been monitoring him for the past 6 months. As a result he fell into non compliance. Insurance has now stopped paying for supplies due to him being non compliant. I am consulting an attorney to see what our options are. Stay far away from them and Lincare. They should be banned from the medical field for things like this.

The white lady at the front counter was thick AF but she look like a man, staff could be a bit more friendlier and it seems like they didn’t know what they was doing with putting information into their tablets, I was there today to pick up my C PAP machine for my gastric bypass surgery

Looking for a new medical supply company. Misinformation, little to no help with issues of any type, rude staff with attitudes. Its hard enough dealing with being on CPAP, but this company made it 10x more difficult and unpleasant.
