Ari and the Staff at Old Country Pizzeria are wonderful. The food is great and they are so accommodating. All during this pandemic they have been preparing subs, salads, meals and Pizza for me to deliver to the Spinal Cord Injury Unit at the Brockton VA. Let me share my experience with Old Country Pizzeria tonight. I placed an order online at 6:10 pm. I paid online with my card (including a five dollar tip). I received an email confirmation that my order had been placed but there was no delivery time on the order confirmation. The order had not been delivered by 7:15- pm. I placed a call to the business at 7:16 pm to report that I had ordered online at 6:10 pm and my order not been delivered yet. I was speaking with a man and he seemed to be trying to track down my order when another person took the phone and stated, Yah, Its on its way. I waited and waited and by 8:30 pm I had still not received my order. I called back and by this time I was really upset. I said that I had a print out of my order confirmation and I would like a refund. I was told, my manger is not here and I cannot give a refund without his permission. My husband went down to the place with a print out of my order confirmation and the money spent. The employee told him the same thing, he could not give a refund without his managers approval. My husband came home and we ordered from Weymouth House of Pizza and had our order in about 15 minutes. I cannot believe that this business has a 4 star rating. What the hell? Seriously, what the hell? My husband is planning on going back tomorrow to get a refund. If it doesnt end well, I will let you know.
From the moment you enter that restaurant the stuff gives you a good feeling. Very courteous team, it is a nice place to pass time with buddies or with your date. delightful cuisine, experienced chief cook and stuff, decent pay and attentive service. Warmly recommended.
Gotta say the steak and cheese I go from there was one of the best Ive had. Easily the best steak part of it. Unfortunately they forgot an item so I cant give them 5 stars.

Food was very good, delivery was earlier than expected, I even got soup that was delicious. Had never heard of them but wanted to give a local small place a shot and they exceeded my expectations and then some. Probably my new go to pizza spot.

I wasted $25 on a side of chicken tenders and a chicken quesadilla here only to realize none of the cooks or staff wear any protective gear (hair nets or gloves). Thats super unsanitary and I hope no-one has gotten sick ordering from here.
UPDATE: 7/6/2021: I reached out to the restaurant and talked directly with the owner/manager because he wanted to make things right with me asap. So I did get a reorder. I did change it up a bit and I think the new calzone was a lot better for me, so they get a added star for that. They listened and did give me a noticeable amount of meatballs in my calzone to make up for the previous calzone. The dessert pizza had a lot of nutella this time around. Would I order from them again? Likely. I can say Id want this version of the calzone again.PREVIOUS REVIEW: I had ordered online for takeout, this was my first time eating their food so I had no idea if it would be a success or what. I ordered a meatball and sausage calzone and a dessert pizza. For some reason they seemed to forget about the meatball and it was more of a sausage only calzone with a few meatball pieces thrown in. The dessert pizza was delish but the pizza dough was less than stellar for me. I dont feel like it was worth the high price for a small pizza to be honest, dessert toppings or not. Would I order from here again? Maybe. Maybe their other items are done better?
The 3 of us enjoyed our subs, but one was missing the tomatoes (had to use some from home) that was ordered.
While the workplace can often seem chaotic, their food is very high quality, well made, and carefully packaged.
Its my favorite pizza place in the area. I also love the fact that they sell slices to go. The slices are generous too.
This place NEVER disappoints! Their fries are always crispy, even with delivery. The fried chicken sandwich is loaded to the point it barely fits in your mouth, and so mouthwateringly good. Eat here at least twice a month, and 10/10 would recommend!
They have great steak a cheese only thing Ive tried so far.
Normally I’m very happy with my meals, but today I got a Cesar salad and all of the lettuce was yellow and chopped up super fine so it was hard to eat. The chicken was also very over cooked which made it tough to eat.
One of the only pizza places around here with linguica pizza. If the crust was just a little more crispy it would be a 5.
Easily the best pizza on the south shore. They have other great stuff too. I used to live right down the street from this place as a kid and my mother and I still talk about how great this pizza is.

First time ordering here.Saw they offered rare roast beef, so I got a little excited. What I got was well done and dry. Made Arbys look like fine dining.For some reason they make you get a condiment on the sandwich. Ok fine, I pay $.75 extra for blue cheese. Didnt get any.Ordered a steak tip wrap, rare. Got the tips well done on a stale, chewy wrap.On the bright side the tips were tender and the onion rings were good.Maybe youll have better luck with the pizza?

I recently ordered from here and loved it! The portions are really big! My kids shared an Italian and the bread was delicious. I had a salad and loved that the lettuce wasn’t turning brown! Great place for a quick grab!

They have many items to choose from. The specials are always worth checking out. Friendly helpful staff. Food is great. If you like you can eat it there or take out. They do delivery as well.
Food is pretty good, but they do not honor daily special pricing unless you mention it when you call. Monday and Tuesday a small cheese pizza is $5.25 and posted at the counter. However if you call and just order a small cheese pizza you will be charged the $6.99 full price. I mentioned it when I saw the receipt and they did not offer any resolution, just to mention it on the phone next time.

Update:Someone from old country pizzeria called me to apologize for our unhappiness...they offered to deliver us something today. I said no thanks. So they offered me a credit to make up for the order. He said he would attach it to my phone number. Seriously that was really genuine!! He wants us to give them a chance to make it better! I was so impressed with that. They get an A+ for effortOur first time here I got the Greek salad with grilled chicken that was pretty good the not good part was they gave me Ranch dressing. I do not like that at all! My husband got the Buffalo chicken sub with provolone cheese. That looked awesome until he took a bite, there was Bleu cheese dressing on it!! That was not ordered at all. So very disappointed we wont be spending anymore hard earned money there.
This place is amazing!!! Been going there for a week now. The steak n cheese is amazing and full of steak. I use to go to another place and they are skimpy with the meats. Old country is usually pretty good on most of their stuff, the pizza is great, calzones are delicious!! But DO NOT order the clam strip plate, ordered it with fries, there was probably 10 fries and 20 clam strips, the plate was light as a feather with barely anything in it!!! To boot no lemon or tarter sauce, those are a must with clam strips!! Also ordered onion rings, and it’s like they give u 10 onion rings. Needless to say their portions do not live up to the prices! Athens is the same price with way more and better quality!

Ive been ordering from here for more than 7 years. I started ordering on line, and out of the past 10 times, maybe 1 order was correct. I made a large order ($55+) last night and out of 5 items 3 were horrible. Never again.

Had American Chop Suey. Hard to find unless you find a diner. Great portion. Hint: add a little mixed veggies on there! Meat in it was great, some chopped up small, some bigger pieces, and they were open until 10 which was ideal. I drive FOR UBER so my choices arent always great at this hour. This was nice😀
Oh man. All I have to say is that every 5 star review is either a Brazilian name elsewise spelled incorrectly. Always about the roast beef and always how clean the place is followed by the same response from the owner. Obv fake reviews which is a bummer. I saw 9 different variations of the name “Gomes”Very argumentative with people who were not happy with screwed up orders. That’s what reviews are for. Honestly. Use them to improve.

Tried Old Country for the first time and LOVED it! The owner let me try their new Chicago style pizza and OMG this is a must try! Also had chicken fingers which tastes very fresh and juicy! Thank you Old Country!

Im not one to write reviews but we ordered a large cheese pizza, meatball sub and onion rings. The pizza was the worst we have ever had. The crust tasted as my daughter put it a stale cracker.The bottom was crunchy It was completely not edible. Meatball sub was excellent! Onion was delicious.
Just got delivery from them. It was our first time eating from there and we were surprised at how good the food was. We are used to mediocre standard for pizza places but I got a tuna club with fries and my wife got a chicken salad wrap with cranberries and walnuts and we were both taken back by how good our food was. The fries were perfect and werent soggy despite having been delivered. Even though it was just a tuna sandwich, it was delicious! My wife was also impressed with her wrap. They are definitely our #1 go-to pizza place from now on!** also got large portions and it was inexpensive**

Stopped in here sat round 4pm with my wife and 2 of my children.. Not a customer in there? Having never been there before we were kind of sketchy. I ordered a large steak and cheese, which was one of the tastiest and largest ive had in some time. My son got fried clam plate that was cooked to perfection, huge and short money. wife and daughter had chicken and fry plate, one buffalo one plain. Both enjoyed. Only reason they didnt get 5 stars was the onion rings in the clam plate were way to thick cut, it was like eating a bite from an onion, although the plate also came with a ton of fries!!!!! Keep up the great work, we will be back soon!
My food was not hot enough today, in fact some of it was cold. That in addition to the specific problems I had ordering online, means they are not worth going back to for myself. For everyone else, I would not recommend this place for pickup or delivery. Order in store to guarantee the food being hot enough. Their website isnt user friendly at all.

Update: I received a call from the owner who refunded my entire order because of this, which I appreciate. I will give them another chance in the future.Just placed an order for pizza, salad, and a few cans of soda for delivery, and I understand they only have one delivery person working today. However, I called the store after an hour of not receiving my order when it stated it would be 45-60 mins to get it when ordering online, and the girl who answered wasnt all together friendly and stated that my order would be leaving there in 5 mins, and I just now got my order another hour later. So it took 2+ hours for me to receive my food. Not exactly the freshest of foods by the time I got it.

Extremely uncooperative, untrained, rude, and embarrisingly poor customer service and utter incompetence in working with a partnered delivery platform. This does not benefit the customer, nor the workers, nor the bosses for that matter. These workers cant handle uber eats without throwing an unprofessional fit about the expedience of uber eats ordering/delivery efficiency versus their food service. They must not have been given proper training but this does not excuse their lack of common human decency or service conduct. Not even a complimentary slice for the very patient delivery drivers absurd wait time and their utter failure in all aspects of the food and customer service industry? Not one slice. If it was a review option Id give them the crust only.

I was very excited to try this place because of all the pics they post, food always looked delicious. My fiancé went to the store to place a to go order, once there one girl behind counter stared at him but never said hello or took his order. Another woman came from the back to take his order and was rather short tempered and rude with him. Food was average, he got a large cheeseburger sub that he was NOT impressed with at all, I got buffalo fingers with fries, average, nothing to go back over. Over all very disappointed with experience.

Overall a great place to eat. I really recommend the calzones, theyre always delicious, large and well priced. The pizza is good and the other menu items are equally decent, but really the calzones blow those out of the water.
Food was ok. Service another story. They dont even know whats on their own menu. Asked for the grilled chicken club wrap...got there and they couldnt find my order. I gave him my phone number as they supposedly record in their computer. He still couldnt find it. Finally told him my order again and he said that doesnt come as a club dinner. I said I dont want a club dinner with fries I want the chicken club wrap and pointed to it on his own menu. He said ok I can substitute the wrap in a club. He wasnt getting it. Then he finally found my order in the computer but still had it wrong. He said do you want fries as a separate order? I said I dont want fries I just want the grilled chicken club wrap again pointing to his menu. He then instructs his guy to make the chicken club and substitute a wrap for the sandwich. At that point I was hungry and frustrated and paid for the club dinner. There are some very grateful animals somewhere on commercial street feasting on french fries. I wont go back there again.

I bought a guinea pig here back in the 80s. Had to return it immediately since it was mentally challenged and didn’t want to go for a walk with me. The guy behind the counter was a real jerk about it and insistent that this place wasn’t a pet store! Shameful. I would give this place a 0 star but it wouldn’t let me!

OMG best pizza ever
The meatball sub was good, the fried ravioli was ok. Caesar salad was dull. Like other caesar salads, there was no shaved shaved cheese but instead sprinkled powdered cheese . I also noticed a large amount of croutons. Not a bad thing just different from what i have had in the past. The dressing was overly sour. Pizza is average at best. Its greasy and the when you pick up a slice or bite into one the cheese with the toppings completely separates from the slice. The good thing is that their pizza comes with a good amount of toppings. Like most other pizzeris, dont expect too much.
Great food for less best pizza in Weymouth . I recommend this place for Weymouth Hingham residents .
