There is nothing I love more than an independent bookstore. I love yhe selection and their nice and helpful staff. I even helped myself to one of the delecious chocolate chip brownies. Thank you for that 🤠

I would rather spend my money at this lovely bookstore than anywhere else. Loads of wonderful stationery items, candy, and books. The young lady working there was kind and friendly.

Calms me down just to walk into this beautiful bookstore. I always find something new and interesting to think about (and buy) :-).

I love this store. It has a terrific selection of books and gifts. The staff is so helpful. If they dont have a book you want, they will order it if possible. I have brought little ones several times to pick out their birthday or Christmas present. They have all enjoyed the experience and pick it as a choice for the next holiday. Thank you Prairie Path!

This is such a lovely cozy place. I just got a bunch of gifts for my boss here. Ill be back for some things that would be perfect for mothers day. They have a nice selection of books for such a small place. I also noticed that they have a good section for kid books and it looks like theres a kid friendly play area for your kids to play while you browse. Definitely stop in if you want to look for books while feeling cozy and lovely

A delightfully charming neighborhood bookstore. Theres quite the variety in this small space, though they might not have specifically what youre looking for the moment you need it. I love the fact that many of the books come with little slips of paper tucked into them with personal recommendations of the staff. Community involvement is much appreciated through the various hosted events, especially the book clubs. Overall, a gem.

I ordered a book, that I was told would be there by the date I needed it. She charged me to order it. The book did not come in. I canceled the order and was supposed to be given a refund. My credit card statement reflected the charge, but in credit. I had to get the credit through the credit card company.

This is the kind of place you go to look around and end up finding more than a couple items you want to take home with you. The bookstore is cute and staff is friendly. They also have small gift items, cards, etc.

I went to the Champagne and Raspberries book review, which was a delightful sharing of recommendations from PPB staff. Funny, engaging and inspiring! It was part of the 3 year anniversary celebration which included a cookbook demo, a performance by co-owner Jenny Riddle and champagne and elegant refreshments. There is a real sense of community support, which inspired me to attend more programs, and of course....buy books!

Quaint little bookstore with unusual finds for kids: a whole shelf dedicated to strong women role models for kids and good kid books to help them learn more about different cultures....

What an absolute gem! This is a real, honest to goodness independent bookstore. I learned about it from the Wheaton library, just across the street to the shop. I try to get in every couple of months and just buy up books and such for gifts and for myself. Their taste is excellent. Youve got to go to this wonderful book store, we are so privileged its here!

It was my first visit to Prairie Path Books. Absolutely adorable book shop. Friendly staff. Clean. Bright. I will be back.

We were visiting the college campus here in Wheaton when the book junkie in me needed to satisfy her craving. Prairie Path popped up on Yelp, so we followed the directions to the store.We parked and discovered that the store was tucked in the back of a very nice furniture store. After winding through displays of chairs a tables, we wound up in Prairie Path books- and it was fabulous. Its not very big, but they somehow manage to have just about everything. Ralph Waldo Emerson coasters, the latest YA titles, travel guides for 20% off...you name it. I wish I lived closer so I could support this bookstore more, since theyre a pretty new business. So, visitors and people of Wheaton, check this out!!!
