I have been a long time customer of this establishment, but I do not know if I can tolerate the behavior I have witnessed my last few times in the store. The person who I believe is the manager, a middle aged woman with dark hair, has berated and mistreated an employee the past few times I have been in your store. He has a beard and is very, very sweet and always takes great care of me and my family. This young man is an excellent example of the kind of worker you should be lucky to have. When I have been in the store, he is always the hardest working person there, and this manager yells at him and treats him terribly. This young man is always doing something when I am in the store, whether recommending meats, giving cooking advice, stocking shelves, carrying groceries to cars for women and elderly customers and cleaning. This young man is quite big, but from what I can tell her seems like a gentle giant. When I was in the store last, there were a few young girls who all stood in a corner by the end of the counter and talked, while there were many customers not taken care of, and as this young man was taking bags to another couple, she proceeded to scream at him across the store to “get over to the deli and do your job” or something to the extent. I cannot recall this woman ever waiting on a single customer in my past few visits. I, as well as my wife, daughter and grandson have also been in the store when the owner has screamed at workers. I genuinely do not understand why this young man, and many of the young girls who work there are talked to so poorly, but I hope that this matter can be resolved. I don’t want to even imagine what happens behind closed doors if this is how workers are treated in front of customers. I will be calling Monday morning and I hope to speak to whoever is in charge.

Miklas is the stop in Wheeling for meat! They have all kinds of delicious cuts of beef, deli meats, chicken, and pork. You wont be disappointed. Try the chicken and dumpling soup. Its my fav!

I went to Mikala’s Market for the first time a week ago. It was vey organized and clean and the staff is very helpful. I was new to their system but once I got to look around, the selection of meat I chose was absolutely delicious. I can not wait to go back to purchase more. You have a gem, keep up the great work! I am so glad I found you!I do have a question: would it be possible to call and place my order ahead of time?

Another hidden treasure in the Valley. This meat market has been around a long time. Newbies to the area need to know this is here. The selection and quality of cuts will make any grocery store look lame. I will be back because their super service was welcomed experience. Top notch.

Terrible! Called and asked if they sell natural casing for sausage making.........the answer I receive was NO and WHO is this?????? Lol really ? I was going to be a flipping customer, but never will I ever be one now.

This is the place to go if you need quality meat. I highly recommend their cube steak, stuff peppers and meatloaf! Also a great place to stock up on ground beef and tender stew meat! The staff are always friendly and helpful! They also sell some pantry items and essentials if you dont feel like heading to Kroger. And they have a good beer selection too I might add. Cant beat a local place like Miklas!

Spent 16 months in Wheeling and I can honestly say Miklas was one of my highlights. Miklas was probably the cleanest stores Ive ever been in with some of the best quality meats throw in great attitudes and your hard to beat. If I ever make it back itll be one of the first places I go

This place is the best!!!! Everything comes from the tri state area so everything is very fresh. I wont buy hamburger anywhere else. Theres no fat on any of their ground burger, best tasting. Friendliest staff, always so helpful and nice, I all around just love this place!!!!!!

Why would you go to a local grocery store, when you can get the best and fresh meats in the Ohio Valley. Their staff is very polite and helpful. I was just there today. They also have bread, milk, eggs etc. One stop shop.
