I loved coming here. It was such a cute date idea and the tasting was very yummy. The person that gave us the tasting was extremely knowledgeable- so we loved his story telling throughout it all!PS we went in the winter. All my photos. :)

Loved this winery. The ladies working that day were fabulous. We set outside and had our tasting and it was great. If I am ever in this area again I will be stopping.

Great place. We went to a fancy tasting and had so much fun. We joined the club and get two wines a month now. We also visit regularly to get tastings of new wines that come as a part of being a member of a club! Also highly recommend trying the housemade fudge with some red wine.

Really lovely place. We decided to have a drink outside and they had a very strong heater. The tasting menu was great and very varied and our waitress was lovely and knowledgeable. It is a classical building was a lovely snowy setting with a wooded backdrop.

Delicious wine, plus they give you a nice souvenir glass. Highly recommend joining their monthly club.

Excellent place. Keeps social distancing rules and enforces mask policies. Excellent tasting wine. Great shady seating. Great staff that are friendly kind and courteous.Everything comes vacuum sealed. This winery shops locally from in-state makers of fine snacks to enjoy with the wine.Try the selection of fruit tasting wine samples.My favorite was the spiced apple. It smells like fall and tastes like apple cinnamon pie.

Lynfred has been a bit of a saving grace through off of this quarantining. You call, order, and they will drop off a bag of whatever wine you want. It’s easy, and they are always super sweet.To make thing better, last time I called I was on the way there and they told me they were closing. The women, Amber, asked how quickly I could be there and waited a few minutes after closing. Honestly, she did not need to do that. It wasn’t urgent and I’m sure she wanted to go home, but she waited the few extra minutes and couldn’t have been more lovely about it.

I live two hours away and hurried over after work and booked a room here in the suburbs ONLY to pick pick my six bottles of wine. I have plans in the city tomorrow morning, so I will no longer be here by the time you reopen. I checked your Google hours (IN ORDER TO AVOID SUCH A PROBLEM), which say you are open until 8:00, only to arrive at 7:10 and see you have changed your hours but not bothered to address it on the most popular search engine in the world. What an absolute waste of my time. Canceling my subscription as soon as you open tomorrow and will not waste my time again. Ridiculous.

I dont know why I have not done this sooner, we have been Wine club members for a few years. Mathew and his staff are fantastic. We are Wine club members at another winery but I like the unique wines and flavors of Lynfred. It is a must try if you have not already.

Matt and his staff in Wheeling provide outstanding service in a very nice, quaint atmosphere. But the star is the wine. Very affordable, yet exceptional wines. We belong to the Red Wine Club and in addition to a monthly bottle, we can participate in fun and educational events.

Problem with bottle of Lynfred 2015 Ruby Cabernet. Makes me wonder about their bottling system. PROBLEM! This past Saturday my husband opened and poured a bottle of the wine, he took a couple sips and I heard a noise from him. Put a napkin to his mouth and out came a fly! Dont think it was added to the wine for taste. Very disapppointed!!!

Pretty good wine, nice patio. Decor could use a makeover, and the staff, while friendly, werent terribly warm or conversational. $11 for a 7 wine tasting is a little expensive too, considering the small size of the pours.

Great place to try wine. Just walked out with a half case. Delicious.

Its cozy, well put together and the staff help you make the right desicion when not sure what you may like best, with the many varieties and mixes of wine they handle. Nice place to be with friends and catch up with great conversation

As always we had a delightful time at Linford Winery. Miss seeing Matt but enjoyed meeting Dale and John this time while we were there.
