The scenery of the route was great, and Austin had info on what we were seeing.Be sure to pack a lunch/drinks for the full-day trip.The reservation process was easily done 100% online.. My girlfriend and I did a half day rental from Whitefish Marine leaving from the swift creek trailhead and we had an incredible experience. The folks in the shop were super nice and informative and had great gear to choose from. We met Cody at the trailhead and he set us up with our snowmobiles and provided us with all the information we needed to have a blast out there. We felt comfortable doing an unguided rental but I know Cody would have given us a great tour if we went the guided route.Honestly our snowmobiling excursion was one of the highlights from our trip to Whitefish. I would recommend snowmobiling with Whitefish Marine to everyone...regardless of ability level or desire for thrill seeking they have plenty of options (guided vs unguided, variety of snowmobiles, different trails, etc).

Jessie helped me set up a boat to rent. Super friendly, offered my lots of options and have me a detailed breakdown of each. I ended up choosing a deck boat since I had lots of people including children.Max was there 20 minutes early to check me on in the boat. He was waiting at the dock before I arrived. Max is one of those guys who knows boats, and it shows. Great guy! He spent some time familiarizing me with the boat and giving me tips on navigating the lake. I was on my way a few minutes later. We rented a Pontoon and spent half day on the white fish lake on a beautiful sunny day. It occupies 13 members and very spacious . It’s worth for the price you pay, make sure to carry enough foods and drinks since you won’t get anything once you hop onto the boat

I had an outstanding customer service experience with Whitefish Marine in addition to a great day on Whitefish Lake on one of their boats! While not a frequent boater myself, I do know that things frequently can and do go wrong with boats on the water such as someone damaging the boat I was supposed to rent. Even when things did not go as planned, Whitefish Marine made sure to make it right. I will absolutely rent a boat from them again the next time Im in Whitefish!

While visiting Whitefish Montana we decided to rent a boat and spend the day on the lake. I called at 1:30pm on a whim hoping I could rent something during my trip. They literally had me on a pontoon boat by 2:15 that same day. The lady I spoke with at the office was delightful and so helpful. As well as the guys that brought the boat to us. They were extremely knowledgeable and kind. I would highly recommend Whitefish Marine!

It was one of the easiest buying experiences ever . Everyone there was friendly and knowledgeable on all aspects of boats . I told them I didn’t have a lot of experience with boating and would like a little check out on the water . They said no problem they would teach me proper loading and unloading and the systems on the boat. We’re just waiting for spring and warmer weather our boat has been winterized they said give them a week notice they’d have it ready. Looking forward to it great people !!!

Would not recommend to anyone! When we bought our boat shortly before summer. They’re great to get you to spend your money, however if they offer you anything extra or that they’ll get you in for service, it won’t happen. We bought it with promises of a live well among other things. In the summer for the first oil change we had a sensor light come on prior to bringing it in. They did not fix it while there. We had to call multiple times just for someone to tell us over the phone oops we didn’t reset it, this is how so we could fix it ourselves. Now, We have been calling and calling for over a month and a half ( not to mention it had been discussed with them several times over the summer as well) to get our boat in to be winterized along with the promised items ( that was supposed to be done during summer but didn’t) with zero luck. We are just supposed to call in the next week each time we speak to anyone. Our boat is now still in the weather not winterized. We will be taking our business elsewhere and will make sure never to recommend their services.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. This boat rental place rented us a boat 8:15-midnight that isnt authorized to be out past 9 oclock for the Fourth of July because it doesnt have appropriate lighting- we werent made aware of this and were therefore put at risk. We crashed because of no lights with children in the boat- GARTH WELLS AND JESSIE ARNDT put our family at risk and then proceeded to try and charge us $6k for damages- when confronted, Garth got aggressive and lunged at us over his desk threatening us and yelling at us to leave the shop. Police reports will be filed. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE THE MOST SHADY COMPANY IVE EVER DEALT WITH.

Bought my boat here and my experience has been really good, the staff is top notch! From sales to service they really do care. Cody even took time to fix my hitch as the lock pin got stuck inside it one day. Being a new boat owner I had a lot of questions and needed some extra help at times. I appreciate the follow up emails and calls from them to make sure everything was good with my boat.

We had such a fun snowmobile trek with Sage. The sleds were in great condition, the trail was awesome and Sage was interactive and funny. We really enjoyed our trip - we’ll be back.

It’s a scam! They will charge you for all these damages after your session with the boat that you didn’t even do. They don’t show you parts of the boat before and charge you for damaged parts after. Extremely angry and will never come back

We had a great experience with purchasing our 2020 tritoon and we love our boat. The service side of thing ms has been awful however. Our speedometer never worked and after several trips in we gave up. And they don’t seem to want to fix it.

Beware of this company, especially in any unforeseen circumstances. We were really excited for our snowmobile tour but things didn’t turn out as we hoped. Upon arriving at the store, there was very limited stock of gloves, which meant we had to buy sizes that were way too big and making it difficult to maneuver the snowmobiles. We understand with a busy season there may be limited stock but it would’ve been nice to be notified of this as we planned to buy directly there.Be careful when signing the contract, as it puts all responsibility on you. We had a pretty close call accident with one of the snowmobiles and had to pay $700 for loss of revenue when another group had to be canceled, though our accident only caused problems with one of their snowmobiles, so to us it seemed completely unreasonable to have to pay for an entire group’s trip rather than the single machine that couldn’t be used.We were also charged a $750 rescue fee for the machine to be retrieved, after the owner joked that his friends were excited to have a free ride to retrieve the machine.Overall, we were expecting to pay some fees for the accident, but the company really took advantage of the situation, charged as much as they could and have a really dishonest way of doing business. We will find another company to rent from next time.

We had such a fun time on our snowmobile tour! Our tour guide Garth was amazing! He showed us the most beautiful scenery on the mountain. He was so kind always making sure we were ok on the trails. He was also very prepared. He had extra gloves and hand warmers for my youngest daughter. He even took pictures for us and sent them to me. This place is AMAZING!! What a great family memory they made for us!

I went on a guided snowmobile ride on Christmas eve of whitefish! It was beautiful, perfect trails, a lot of fun! I recommend this for one person or the whole family, its a blast! My guide was a great guy, easy to talk too, felt like a friend. I meet the owner and the staff, very professional, great group there at WHITEFISH MARINE !! I highly recommend!!! Buyer Beware – Please Read Full StoryWe purchased our NEW 2019 Scarab 215ID from Whitefish Marine in February 2020 at the boat show in Kalispell, MT. We went to Whitefish to check out a couple other used boats at their dealership the day prior to the show, but Garth (the owner) showed us the same model boat that we eventually purchased which was winterized at his lot and after hours of research on the brand and the specific boat, we were extremely excited to be able to buy new, to not have to deal with potential issues that come from buying used boats. Garth raved about his service department, he promised an extra year warranty for purchasing at the boat show, and even threw in a wakeboarding lesson for our kids during the demo once it occurred. The boat would be stored at his shop and then summerized and detailed once we were ready to pick up for the season. We contacted him early April to schedule a time to come pick it up, unfortunately COVID-19 delayed the process a little, which we were completely understanding of. We finally scheduled a date/time and drove the 45 minutes to pick it up. When we arrived (which he told us it would be ready upon arrival three hours prior to us showing up), the boat was in anything but new condition. It was covered in scratches, tears in the decals, and as dirty as can be. We immediately told Garth we would not be accepting the boat in this condition, and would wait until it was in the condition we were promised before picking it up. This of course was followed by excuse after excuse and little to no apology from his side. Once we finally took possession of the boat, each day we found one thing after the other that was wrong with the boat. The aluminum wheels on the trailer were covered in corrosion and scratches. There was a tear in one of the seat cushions. The noise-cancelling pad on the engine cover was covered in mold. Garth instructed us on how to use the bimini-cover incorrectly, which has now resulted in a tear. We really could go on and on with how many issues we’ve had since picking this boat up, like the very first day we couldn’t even start it because they did not connect the battery correctly. After each issue, we received a promise of how it would be fixed, until Garth then decided he no longer wanted to work with us and denied our warranty work, expecting us to drive four hours to Spokane to receive any service. The promises that were made, they have yet to follow through on. We were promised a wheel swap with a different trailer that had wheels in better condition, not received. We were promised a new engine cover due to mold, not received. We were promised the seat to be replaced, still not done. After showing up the first time and seeing the boat in the condition it was in, we were told they would detail it “again,” and Garth let us know he personally inspected the boat. When we showed up to pick it up and pointed out the many issues it still had, we were told, “you must have better eyes than me.” At that point, Garth approved us to take the boat to a detail shop of our choice and he would cover the bill. This is the only thing he has actually followed through on. They did also state they would install the new decals that were torn for us, but after what we experienced with their service and detail shop, we chose to spend our own money to have them installed at a shop with better quality work. Our last issue we experienced was quite possibly the worst of them all, while driving on the highway going 65 MPH, our winch strap (which was sunbaked and dry-rotted) holding the boat to the trailer snapped, thankfully the safety strap held or we could have had a much larger problem. Over the last three months, we have spent countless hours doing what we can to correct the never-ending problems that this boat keeps giving us, which, should not happen with a brand new boat if it was taken care of properly when in Garth’s possession.Please feel free to contact us ([email protected]) for further details before you do any business with Whitefish Marine.

Absolute horrible service. Customer Support is non existent. The employees cannot read, we purchased a new Supra CASH in July and still have yet to recieve the title for the boat. Even after a dozen conversations with the owner we still do not have a title in our possession.

Garth, Megan and Jarvis are fantastic people to work with. They were very knowledgeable and helpful when considering our new boat purchase. They made time to answer all of our questions and helped us through the whole experience right down to the final light check on the trailer before we pulled out of the parking lot. We would recommend Whitefish Marine to anyone considering a new or used boat purchase.

I booked a snowmobile trip for myself and my husband for February 15th. I made the reservation on January 12th late afternoon. On January 13th at 6:45 am I had to cancel the reservation due to some sad news that we received on the 12th a few hours after I made the reservation. Our entire trip had to be cancelled. I got a full refund on my airfare, a full refund from our hotel coyote Bluff estates but these guys .... yeah no. The $185 deposit I provided not even 15 hours earlier — no refund. What horrible horrible customer service. Read the fine print too. They do not supply googles with their helmets. Slimy and sneaky business practices ....

Just finished a 1/2 day tour. I happened to catch them on a day off but they were happy to do it.I could not get to them so they came and got me. I had a great time and they certainly went the extra mile for me.

We hired two snow mobiles for a half day. Very helpful staff told us the best route to take. They even organised lifts up and back from the trail head. It was super busy when we went in so I would recommend allowing some time to fill out the paperwork etcThe snow mobiles were in good condition and it was a really great experience to snowmobile whitefish.

I would highly recommend whitefish marine! The staff was very good at communicating with me when I had questions on a boat. They even answered questions for me on a Monday and Monday is not even one of their business/operating days. Any questions i had on a boat the staff would go out of their way to find out answers within a quick response time. Lets put it this way, I saw one of their boats I liked on a Monday, got in contact with them and asked about the hours on the boat. Then on Tuesday the very next business day they were able to pull off the hours and gather all of the other detailed questions for me. I liked everything they said about the boat and then decided to drive up to whitefish to take a look at the boat later that day. I lived outside of town and told them I wouldnt be there until after business hours, they responded no problem and said they would hangout until I got there. We were also able to test drive the boat that night, which i was not expecting! I fell in love with the boat and bought it that night. Whitefish marines super quick response time at communicating was super crucial of making everything run so smoothly and getting me the boat I love in no time! I literally contacted them, test drove the boat and bought the boat all within 2 short days. When test driving the boat, one of their employees Mitch was very thorough on explaining how everything on the boat operates, since Im new to wake surfing boats i found this to be super helpful! Mitch was also honest with me about the boat, one of the ballast guages wasnt working and he made sure to point that out right away. The fact that he was very upfront and honest made me feel more confident in knowing exactly what I was purchasing. Both Mitch and the owner Garth worked around the clock, to help me get the boat I want! They were always professional, completely honest about everything, and overall genuine people to do business with. It allowed me to make a big purchase with 100 percent confidence in knowing that i was making a decision I wasnt going to regret later. No online prices, so I called for a price on a boat I was interested in. Person named Chris answered in the sales department but couldnt get me a price and asked if he could call me back with the info. Im giving 2 stars instead of 1. Only because they answered the phone. Just dont call you back.

Never ever buy here, you and your family will regret it!!! They seem great in the beginning when selling you something, wait till you own it and spend 150k+!!!We have driven over 4000 miles, hotel rooms, etc to get our boat fixed at Whitefish Marine that we bought there and got to use a handful of times. From the minute we picked up the boat it had issues, it was sold new to us with around 30 hours on it already. We kept bringing the boat for the same issues and the never got fixed. We are almost a full year with a boat that doesnt work and they wont warranty anything, stranded 2 times out on the lake, excuses about poor staff they had to let go due to so many issues with boat returns. It is a 2018 Supra SL550 and a piece of junk, that looks nice. We will now be taking legal action and just left our boat at the dealership to stay. If you want to buy a boat and have fun on the lake I suggest you go elsewhere. The people and business at Fast Toys and Jesco seem like a way better option, if your looking to buy in Whitefish/Kalispel.

Be very careful renting from thes guys - my son and I took two sleds out and were given very poor instructions but were told that th wire scrapers needed to be down. My machine had a broken wire on the left side and the machine overheated. We were forced to ride back double after only an hour of the 4.5 hour rental. We assumed that the broken wire would make it an easy settlement and a refund for half or all of our trip would be forthcoming. However, today we recieved a very rude call telling us we would be charged for repairs and no refund was offered. Probably a fly by night operation that will not be around like long but just in case I feel it is better for me to post this so that others can be aware of the type of operation that is being run here.
