My experience with Gerardo was excellent under the circumstances of needing to fix/replace my transmission. He had my car towed on a Thursday and I picked it up Saturday. He kept me informed at all times even sending me pictures .The car runs great. I would recommend him to family and friends.

Great and fast service. The staff had a good communication regarding my car issues. They offer me several options to have my car fix for a fair price.

I had my brakes and oil changed done here. I had went to two other places and they had qouted me a much higher price. The manager was a young nice guy. He explained the whole process and I was charged a lot less than what the other two places qouted me. I was happy with the service.

This place is scam, they lure you in first with cheap price then they add the cost of the repair. The owner Jerry is a big liar. My story was first I took my truck there for transmission repair and he said he will fix it for $1800 and ask for $500 deposit cash only, he said will take 4 days and one year warranty, he called after 2 days and ask for $750 more and few days extra time. He kept my truck for 2 months, every time I called he had different excuses such as parts not available or his workers did not finish the job or other excuses, finally when I pick up the truck the transmission stop working slipping before I get home, when I took it back I found out he used old parts, he promised to fix the truck I went back and forth for 7 months and he could not fix my transmission. I’m taking this guy to court. So sad that this people still doing business and robbing honest people.

Ripoff!!!!!!! I took my car to P & H to get a transmission overhaul and Gerardo the owner of this shop had gave me an estimated of $1300, to make my story short I left my car there it took him over 3 months to get my car back, just so I can drove it off for 3 weeks and it was back in the shop again, he damaged my cv boot, and my abs sensor. I had to wait another 2. Months for my car to get ready, drove it off and my car still got problems not only I paid him $1800 but now I still got problems with my car. This shop its a terrible place to get your car service. Gerardo seems to be a nice guy once your car is in his shop it will be your lost....TAKE YOUR CAR IN AT YOUR OWN RISK...

Old cars transmissions break down so where do you go? Transmission issues are just the worst thing for us car owners and you feel the transmission repair place can tell you anything because you and I have no knowledge in that area. I have used P&A several times now and they have done a good job each time to a reasonable price ... and they are local. I have experienced the two brothers as trustworthy and I recommend them to others. Would I like for a transmission job to be done faster ... sure ... but having tried other places as well. I must say they are at the better end of the scale. If you are from around Whittier then use a local like this place so we keep having that option here. No need to use one further away.

Awful Company ! I went in there because my transmission light was on. He game a $600 quote and I paid the deposit with a company check. The owner agreed the balance can be paid with a check. He calls me a week later that my car is ready and tells me I have to pay the balance with cash or else he is not going to give me my car. He also said the price is $650 because he has extra work to do! My car was held hostage and I had to pay cash. I asked about the credit card and they said it was down! And to top it off my light is still on! Now I have to take it to another transmission company because I dont trust the company !

Had transmission rebuilt on a 94 Nissan Pathfinder a little over a year ago they put a used pump in the transmission which is now failing again, when they put the transmission back in they striped out the exhaust manifold flange stud on the manifold by using an impact wrench by the way not a very smart idea. It has a loud exhaust leak and I told him it didnt have an exhaust leak when I dropped it off he told me one of the studs was striped I told him I replaced the exhaust manifold myself and nothing was striped and I saw him using an impact wrench when he was putting the exhaust pipe back in.
