Love the store period. Love shopping for the sports material n other things i need for sewing

Came here to look for a Halloween stuff and the shelves were pretty empty 😅. Also looked for some Halloween fabric and the had a decent variety. One of my favorite reasons for coming here is that theres always parking and the store is somewhat always empty.

Great customer service. The employees were very lively and helpful, looking to start a conversation with anyone passionate about sewing. I would recommend this store to anyone in need of fabric, craft supplies, buttons, and more.

Crafting is a good outlet and Joanns lets you get creative. Make sure to download the app to be able to use coupons. They have a great selection of things to make different projects. They do carry a lot of fabric if thats what you are looking for and the store associates are always very helpful with anything you might need and even have suggestions for what it is you are trying to make. The other great thing about this store is the selection of decor for holidays. Also, many of these decor items go on sale and you can get them at a cheaper price.

Love the store, but, can Never get the coupons to down load. Should go back to paper coupons, never had a problem with those. Spent about 15 min. trying to down load.

The employees here are so friendly and very helpful! Even though its easier for me to go to the Irvine location I much rather make the drive out to Whittier blvd location for better service and deals!

This store is never crowded. They have a cast selection of fabrics. I recently got some fabric my daughter needed for school but we didnt end up using. I found out that you can return cut fabric (cut in store) that has not been used or altered. I always thought that once you cut it you were stuck with it. As long as they can resell it you can return it. We must have shopped in a special day because they had a table of free items I could choose from after I made my purchase. I found this amazing Christmas sign that still had the price tag on it. It was originally $50 and I got it free!!! I love this store.

Always fun going to this fabric store. Just have to take time to search for the best savings or pattern you want.So much to choose from 👍💟

Not to happy with this JoAnns cuz they are greedy when they cut the fabric other JoAnns usually give you an extra piece and some kind of percentage of when its the end of the bolt but not the JoAnns on Whittier. 👎

Not what I expected, the place is out dated and needs more updating and more modern supplies. Service was great and the cashier was super nice.

Got a couple of great deals with the Doorbusters, but they really need more cashiers. THE WAIT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOO LONG!!! If I didnt have Candy Crush I would have gone mad from the wait. Also, this place is so dated, and it really needs a renovation. Seems like its about to fall apart structurally.

First time shopping at Joann Fabrics and Crafts, and has this abandoned warehouse feeling to it. Not due to area its in but the locations lack of lighting. Then once inside the store most of the shelves were very dusty. Customer service was ok could be better I felt rushed when one of the employee just passed by me stating the store would be closing soon instead of offering assistance.

Love shopping there...but this vist the fabric cutting station was very slow, only one person at station. Hadnt been at store for over 1 yr...so nice to be back. (Will blame the slow on the Corona)

Old store, old building but easy to find. A little packed this last time. Busy enough I didnt bother waiting to get fabric cut. The employees were swamped but did a great job nonetheless. Parking is normally sufficient but when people dont know how to park....

I have to sadly rate this because I waited and waited for more than 10 minutes for someone to come help me with something and each time I asked the employee I was told someone would help me as soon but they never came. I was disappointed after I had been wanting to go into this store for so long.

Love Joanns for all my sewing needs. I make a monthly trip for face masks supplies and I always leave happy with all the specials I find. You save even more when you use the coupons that you get in store and through the mailers and app. If you enjoy fabricating and crafting, Joanns is a must on your places to shop

This Jo-Anns, is kind of out of the way for me ...but they took the one I used to go to away.. so I have to travel a bit farther. I came here for the fabric. They have such a large selection to choose from. I lucked out and got plenty of sale items. Im thankful the employee there was so helpful. She measured how much fabric I would need for my project. she help me get an estimated guess.. she was very knowledgeable and I was thankful for all her help. since I havent a clue how to sew with a machine. So hot glue gun here I come!😉😄😃

I was very disappointed I went in this Sunday had a coupon for 60% off I wanted to buy a steam iron it was regular price I talked to a sale person and I asked if I could use it on this particular item and they told me I could not use the 60% coupon on that regular price item I told them why its not on sale they told me on the irons you could not use the 60% off coupon I told them all so thats how you get your customers in the store everything is on sale from baking pans to florals to blankets to everything that they sell there was on sale I walked out of there very upset I will never again waste my time going into a Joanne store for thats how they get their customers to go in hearing out these coupons and you cant even use them on the items that you want to buy that are regular price so I will go elsewhere Ill start shopping at Michaels Im ashamed of this chain stores

This location is okay. Some parts of store needed some organizing and some products were not label right ( price wise). Not sure of this is a deal breaker but super quiet. The cashier and a fabric cutter were to only ones working ( wonderful people! Kudos!) May return once it gets cleaned up.

When you need that special something.I needed at least 3 decorative trim to lengthen the sleeves on a t shirt dress (for older women to cover up more of our angel wings as my grandkids call them.Can also lengthen some of those short dresses.Good selection both in colors and types.

Had to wait a long time to purchase just 2 spools of thread. They need more people at checkstand.

Place gets a little stuffy when in there for a bit.. but always have what Im looking for =)

I spend too much money here, but I LOVE THIS PLACE. I could spend all day here and still go back the next day and see something I missed. The representative that work here are knowledgeable and friendly. The coupons are great when I remember to use them. I just this store at least every other week.

There was only one cashier to ring up customers and there was a very long line as it was Saturday. The cashier was friendly, but had to wait about 15vminutes before I was helped. Possibly 1 or 2 employees had called off sick?

It is a great place to get a grand variety of fabrics and crafts supplies, I only wish they had more crafting stuff.

Just went to check patterns.

They have a wide variety of fabrics and notions to choose from. Its perfect for any sewing fan, but I had a bit of trouble finding any patterns in my size (Im a size 2 adult female, yikes). I also didnt really get the best customer serviceWhen I asked for help locating an item, the worker replied, I dont know, sorry and then left. Even so, this place is still worth your while to go if you need anything in the sewing world.

Always found the staff helpful and friendly. Good stock. I go for weird stuff like canvas to protect my chisels or fine netting to keep birds off pear tree, always found what I needed.

I am here often. Great store location and I always find what Im looking for. Every time I visit I want to start a new project. The employees are very helpful when it comes to anything that I have questions with. The store is kept up very well and it is so easy to find what Im looking for.

What is disappointing is that they lure you into the store with great coupons only to find that you cant use them because the fabric is already on sale for a lesser discount. Not good. I would prefer fabric to be at regular price and then give us a 40% discount.

This place was so junkie & dirty looking. Wont go back. The one in Buena Park is so Clean and organized.

Could have been better if they were not in such FEAR of Covid. Seemed like only 15 or 20 people allowed in store at a time. Line outside took awhile. Plan on waiting!! Not convenient. Covid Fears are too much.

Though I understand that during this Quarantine a flood of online orders have come thru the handling or to better describe the MISHANDLING of orders at this specific location is Horrible. First of all They DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONES... Even if youre trying to verify the ready for pick up e-mails sent and to get pick-up times before heading over. Then they act like you are bothering them by showing up to pick-up the items youve PAID FOR.. Also they have the tiniest note on the door that you cant see until you are out of your car telling people to remain in their vehicles as well as a tiny types note regarding their pick up hours again the average person would have to get out of their vehicle to find it and read it. I have waited over 5 days to receive my order to not only receive another ready for pick-up e-mail but shortly following another e-mail stating that half of my order has been cancelled... To which I finally got someone in the phone who tells me to just order it from somewhere else. Horrible

Bought some fabric & thread here. Was amazed w/ the awesome selection of colors, prints, & low to moderate price ranges to choose from. I highly recommend shopping here. Youll wanna look for online coupons too, in case you wanna buy more than you came for.

Its pretty dinky inside AND out. It needs a renovation... at least for the parking lot, please! The prices are crazy high, so I only shop here when I need fabric or when I have a coupon.
