When the designer came to sell me on the closet she never mentioned that I was better off having the previous closet ripped out and painted so that it would look good when the closet world material was brought in. Installer was very nice and I think agreed with me that it was better to post phone then have it look the way it does. Unfortunately the manager informed me that I would be charged a fee to reschedule since they had already come out. I would not use this company for a garage install in the future.

(NO STAR)The only one installer who brought my orders (for 2 rooms) left it like this after 9 hours. Because the sales specialist who took the measurements of my house did not bring the product in the dimensions according to my house from the place he ordered. Tried to cut it in my garage and apply it to my house! 9 hours totally 16 woods installation! I dont believe it!It may have been a very good company in the past, but today they appear as a company that does not care about their orders, does not care about customer satisfaction, and does not respond to our complaints.Frankly, I do not understand why the company sends damaged products to my home, does not check it, does not listen to my complaint, and still does not send an installer to solve the problem. The only thing I wonder is how would the general manager or CEO of the company feel if he met a company that serves him like this? I just wanted to ask him about it. is this acceptable?My problem is still not fixed. Still no one has told me when to send installer. Still no one picks up my phone!All I know is I paid more 3000 dollars for this garbages! I think you will have to tell the judge what you did in the court.

Our designer (Jess) was/is top notch. She is very knowledgeable and her design eye is at the top of the game. Jess was very thorough and went through every detail of our design.

Buyers beware they will take your money and not give you what you paid for your closet will look used and they will not care!! Don’t waste your money here! It’s been a nightmare working with this company. They didn’t install as designer drew out. Install dept doesn’t care will not apologize or compensate for the hassle I’m going through. Paid thousands for cheap dirty unit, that I am not going to use and ruin my clothes by using. Good Joseph at install department it’s dirty, glue and dusty, dinged, bubble and no lock installed also one wall isn’t installed correctly, his reply ok we can go back in 10 days and fix it, my stuff is in the floor, his reply was I could use the closet. So he’s telling me move my stuff into a dirty closet ruin my clothes and then move them back out in 10 days. I said this is a hassle, he didn’t care. See pics as proof. I’ve emailed and left voicemails with no reply at all!!

Do not get your garage cabinets from Closet World. My cabinets are still under warranty and closet world is forcing me to pay $130 to come fix the defective laminate they use. I would spend my money elsewhere for better customer service. Another case of a company only caring about making the sale, once they do they stop caring.

Purchased a wall of garage closets, now need a repair. They want payment to roll a truck out that does not come with parts to fix cabinet. Held 25min for Ramon the Supervisor only to be cut off. Next agent gave me Ramos bosses name who is the VP his name is Alex but he does have have a phone and can not be contacted then hung up. So is the 40% off really worth ZERO SERVICE, positively not.

Don’t waste your money!!Terrible experience, I wish that I read the reviews prior to purchase. Had to wait 3 months for installation due to pandemic, which was understandable. However, like the other reviews had to call to confirm if they are coming my self. Was assured that someone will call me with installation confirmation. Then on day of installation I received a call, that they have to cancel and reschedule (sick call) no installers.So, finally installation day comes and I am so excited to finally get my closet.1. Installer says oh the designer measured it wrong.2. Closets installed not what we talked about and measured with designer. Closet was supposed to be 2ft deep and they installed 1ft deep. (I didn’t check my installation diagram because we assumed it was measured correctly by designer, and written. We trusted her.) Boy were we wrong.3. Cabinets not even close to what designer put on paper. Had to pay on the spot to get more cabinets even with their mistake. With no advertised discount, manager refused to honor that. (That I need a new contract).4. Numerous calls to manager’s . Which are so rude and don’t care!!! Worse ever, never experienced anything like it. Will not rectify anything do not call you back nothing. Have the audacity to belittle you on the phone and I quote “let me speak real slow so you understand “ type of language.5. Message left to Alex Vice President no call back either.6. You can’t trust your designer because they can’t measure. Be ware re measure everything because obviously they don’t know how, even though it’s their job. Closet word the manager will point that out it’s black and white on the contract.So, I’m stuck with a closet that’s 1 ft deep and nothing fits well. Closet world does not own up or will rectify their mistakes. They got their money they don’t care.WORSE EVER SAVE YOUR MONEY

I received a flyer from closet world claiming that they were very professional #1 this # 1 that bla..bla...bla so I called to set up an appointment but they only do appointments 10:00 to 4:30 pm so good luck if you work so I ask for the day off to take care of my 2 closets so I set my appointment based on their ability so this was 5 days after I called then they called me at 8:00 pm a day before my appointment date saying that their designer couldnt go to my house.Very unprofessional, I you dont want to go trough this I suggest not to do business with this company.

Great, fast, and friendly service with attention to detail! We did not feel pressured in any way and the 3 day grace period gave us peace of mind. Thanks for your patience Michael and the suggestions on the re-design. We felt heard and understood.

Violet, the design expert, was very thorough and patient. Provided great insight to help me make my decision more confidently. Im very excited to get these two projects completed. The only bad thing is a slightly longer wait period for the install due to supply shortage BUT the install time is still shorter than other companies I contacted. Shes really the reason Im moving forward... she was helpful and honest with me.After reading the reviews, I hope the jobs go well. Im starting to get nervous about the whole thing and am past the 3-day cancelation period. Really hope this wasnt wasted money and I end up with regret.

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE. As I go through the timeline of failure, keep in mind we had to take time away from work to be there for the installers. The first day we cleared the closet, and I even took off the doors to make it easier for the installers. After moving boards into the room, where the closet is, the installer arrived and discovered the prefabricated boards were incorrectly manufactured. The next time they came with the correctly manufactured boards, the shelves were uneven, and the drawers could not open because they hit the sliding doors if opened. Closet World is in the business of designing and installing closets; how could you miss that. The next time they came, they moved the drawers so they could be opened, and they aligned the drawers and shelves. Unfortunately, the top shelf was the wrong size, so they had to come back once again. When they returned to install the two-piece top shelf, it was too big. I had to call them to complain and have the shelf fixed. I spoke to a supervisor Corey and told him about my disappointment and desire to fix the shelf. An appointment was set, and the installer failed to show, and when I spoke to Corey, I was told the appointment was never entered into the schedule. I have one more appointment to fix the shelf; however, Im not confident it will be done. I started the install on 7/15/21; our next appointment is 9/8/21. Once again, this is one small closet. I have other closets I want to get done; I will not be using this company. If you go with the closet world, GOOD LUCK.

Very unprofessional installers. I need to do 4 bedrooms plus the garage. I just did a first bedroom to check the quality of work. I called the customer service, wasnt helpful. People please dont waste your money. Prices to high and quality is zero.Not recommended at all.

After the wonderful job done on our walk-in closet in 2009, we decided to again employ Closet World to build an island in the same closet because we wanted the color of the materials to match. The saga began at the end of March, 2021, when we signed the contract but were not scheduled for the installation until June, 2021 -- not to mention, the price for the island was almost as much as the price for the entire walk-in closet had been years earlier. Early in June, a few days before the scheduled installation is when things began to go sideways. Closet World never called us to confirm the install. We had to call them to get an approximate time. And on the day of installation, they were hours late. The installers name was Charles--friendly and professional, but was sent without all of the correct size panels to complete the job. (Charles is the only reason we gave Closet World one star.) We called the manager at Closet World who insisted to be paid, even though they would have to return to actually assemble the island correctly! We were furious and talked to a manager because we didnt think we should pay the balance since the job had NOT been completed. Check the contract carefully! A date to return to bring the correct panels was scheduled. (We found out later, that Closet World HAD in fact charged our credit card for the incomplete job.) Charles returned a few days later with yet another problem with the panels given to him at the warehouse. This time the panels were the correct size but had raw/unfinished edges, meaning a THIRD trip to our home to complete the job would be required. (The attached photo shows the raw/unfinished front edges.). A couple days later, Charles again returned. This time, the edges on the side panels were raw and unfinished, but on the backside that didnt show. We could have demanded that they come back yet another time with the edges finished, but we decided not to. The island was still not completed to our satisfaction, but we just wanted to get Closet World out of our lives! We ended up later staining the raw back edges ourselves. A couple days after the installation, we again called the manager and insisted that we receive some compensation for the ordeal. We settled on a $200 refund for all the inconvenience Closet World had caused. It took another week to receive it, but we finally did. I dont know who the employees were who work in Closet Worlds factory/warehouse, but they were absolutely horrendous! The installer, Charles, did the best he could to satisfy us, and we are not blaming him at all. Before this all happened, we had originally thought about calling Closet World back to install cabinets in our garage. Thats not happening! Pandemic or not, the company should have done a better job than what we experienced. Extremely disappointed customers.

Amy is super knowledgeable and efficient didn’t waste my time which I find truly valuable. I wanted simple, white and clean. Cannot wait to see the finished product!Well the finished work is sub par definitely false advertising. I would really look into other ways of doing this yourself.

Do not purchase from closet world! Sales people are liars and their customer service sucks! Their managers don’t return calls. They take 3 months to install cheap closets that are way to expensive. Home Depot has nice closets for way cheaper prices.

The worse service ever. Extremely disrespectful and rude to an unimaginable point.I was left on hold for over an hour, jumping from one representative to another being told different things, and was given misleading information when I had my stuff installed with them just to get me to do the stuff. They said I’ll be able to move it if I wanted AND MY WARRANTY is still running and when I called after the hours being on hold, an extremely disrespectful “supervisor” named Randy couldn’t have a 2 second conversation with me to why I was told stiffener information and put on hold for hours and quoted “I don’t want to prolong this, we don’t do it”, “I don’t have an answer for your question”, “I guess you were miss informed from all departments then”. He was the worse I have ever spoken to, and I was calling to even get more stuff installed and I’ll never step foot in with that company again. They’re the worse to deal with and unless you know 100% that you’ll never speak to them again after your install then I wouldn’t never recommend them.

They started off seeming like a reputable company, answering calls and questions, very quick to come in and design my closet. But after I made my first payment of almost $500 my order got put into pending for over month. I called almost everyday in hopes to take it out of pending to finish my closet. I got told “you can leave a message for a manager they will get back to you before the end of the day” so I left a message and I let a couple days go by I called again and got the same response. I had to beg to speak to a manager of any sort. THIS IS NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY. GET YOUR CLOSET ELSE WHERE.

1 star is way more than they deserve. After 2.5 months of waiting they finally called me to install my closet, stayed home all day and they did not show up. Next day they were supposed to be at my house by 11 am and they finally showed up at 3. Installed 1.5 of the closets and disappeared until 1 MONTH later. They were not returning any of my calls in the exam time. The quality of work is also very low to the point that I want to have someone else come and finish their work. Lots of scratches and dents everywhere.

My design consultant Mireya Mallon was superb in every way - knew her product, design options, and installation considerations. Top quality materials. Highly recommend!!

Today was our third project big with Closet World. The estimator, Deb R, arrived on time, was pleasant and efficient in her design ideas for a guest room closet. Her suggestions quickly merged with ours and we had a rendering and price quote shortly thereafter. We look forward to this third project being completed by Closet World.

I want to clarify my Rating is for the sales rep that came to help us and guide thru this idea of remodeling our closet. She was amazing and super helpful. We decided not to move forward with this company for our project due to all of the recent reviews online based on clients experiencing Horrible Installations and Not good quality work so we wanted to avoid having to add stress of not getting what we invest in as far as work and product.

This was the worst experience ever! They came out at least seven times to finish my closet and still didnt get it right. After giving up and settling, I called numerous times for them to bring missing shelves, which they never did. Each time they would place me on hold and never get back to me. When I finally did get through, they told me I had to pay for the shelves and pay a $120 service fee. If you need a closet, youre better off going to Home Depot or Lowes.

Terrible customer service. They won’t tell you your install “window” until the day before and it’s not even an accurate window. Customer service department is rude. Rep told me I could reschedule however it would be 3 months out due to the amount of money we spent ($5k). Never again will we purchase from closet world. They will be quick to sell you on the closet have you pay your deposit then they don’t care when it gets installed.

I wouldnt recommend this company. I was really happy the first time when they only did one closet but when we moved they did 4 of our closets. They spam call you constantly after youve already paid for literally every closet in your house to be customized. I had to block them several times because they would call 2x a day. They kept asking to do the garage. They tell you they have a 7 year warranty but they dont tell you it doesnt include their tracks until you call with a problem. One of our track wheels broke and the drawer under it was damaged because it was faulty. They are charging me $200 to fix it and even though the drawer front is included in their warranty they will charge you because the damage was caused by a faulty track they installed. The tracks only have a one year warranty. The wheel popped off from normal use and our one year old actually found it on the floor and put it in her mouth. Were having 5 of our closets done at our new home and we will definitely be going with another company.

If I could give les stars I would. Absolutely do not recommend. Designer showed us photos and looked good. After almost 3 months of waiting I got a date to install and a 2 hour window for arrival. 6 hours later, at least 5 phone calls, and promises they couldnt keep. Then finally guy shows up and works in my house until 9:30 PM. The work is nothing close to what was promised. I feel I was ripped off badly. After trying to get someone on the phone they all had a rehearsed answer as this must happen daily. I am NOT happy with the work and I will never do business with this Co again. I do not recommend Closet World....Period...Go somewhere else

I enjoyed talking with the estimation and the staff member. She was very helpful with giving me more concrete options when I was indecisive and was not at all pushy.

Promises, promises but failure to deliver a quality product.After our consultation we were very excited, but seeing the finished product left us sick and upset. The quality of the product was terrible. Their trim pieces dont match the color of their wood (and we got white), wood was damaged, the shelves were dirty and no effort was made to finish the job. What bothered us the most was the $9000 price tag for professionally installed custom shelves...and a few drawers.Do not use this company.

I have been meaning to leave this review for awhile. We spent north of 20k re-doing our kids room with the pull-down beds and within about a year or maybe two the frames (on both beds) broke and this company refused to stand by their products and instead said this was not under warranty and was a 3rd party product.I was pretty shocked that a company like this would not replace these cheap frames and would instead prefer to get a 1 star review. If you are choosing between California Closets and Closet World, I think it’s worth spending more to get a better quality product and company that gives a sh-t after the sale.They don’t realize how many clients I have sent to California Closets over this one thing they shouldn’t have hesitated to take care of!

Sherry the design consultant is the Best ! As long as she is involved and lead installer Scott we will plan on future projects.This is our 4th and 5th project with Closet World and two to go.

No one to answer the phone and now they want to charge us a fee to come out and fix it. Its like fort knox to get screened to get help. Horrible service! You get what you pay for. They dont deserve the one star they make you click.

Worst experience ever! If I there is zero star, I would rate this company a zero star! I wish I read the reviews before I order the cabinets! Take forever to have the products ready, there is ok due to pandemic, but the installer keep changing the schedule, we have 3 areas cabinets, we were told at the beginning they can finish it in one day, it took 4 days, 4 trips to get installer to complete the work. we have to wait for 3 weeks to get it finished. totally a nightmare!

Im very happy with the design for my closets however when the installer showed up he notified me that the notches which I paid extra to have to hug my baseboards were not done right and he would have to hack it on site if I wanted to move forward with the installation. I spoke with his manager and we aligned on a discount for the mistake and we would continue with the installation. They took full payment that day and promised a refund once it was processed.Its been 2 months and I havent received a penny after many (many) follow ups with Diego in installation.So my closets look hacked in, I had someone in my house for hours and sawdust all over my yard where he had to cut on site, I was promised a refund and have called many times to follow up and the installer left a disgusting mess in my bathroom.The whole process has been very frustrating so I cant recommend Closet World.

An overall poor experience. My partner and I wanted a custom closet that was suitable to our life style. There was a discrepancy in the initial contract concerning a closet door that we wanted to conceal our safe. The sales representative assured us that a closet door would be provided. When the closet was installed, the closet door was missing. No big deal, I thought, Ill just call and get this all sorted. That was not the case. First person I spoke to, Diego, said I was mistaken and that I would have to pay for the closet door. Then my partner called and got Ramon on the line and Ramon straight up laughed at him and said that we were trying to get a free closet door out of them. The sales rep that sold us the closet left the company and the men we spoke with kept putting the mistake on the sales rep. They have said that they cant get ahold of him but I have personally called the sales rep a few times and he has answered my calls even though he doesnt work there any longer. Im still trying to get ahold of the VP to discuss the matter further. Hopefully we can resolve the issue.The closet is well made with the exception of the closet door, of course. However, I had to give this company one star for its extremely poor customer service. If you are thinking about hiring this company, dont. Or, if you decide to, make time to be placed on hold for long periods of time, and unhelpful staff.

I just had one of the most pleasant experiences. We recently renovated our master bedroom and master bathroom. We used all high end fixtures with a double vanity soaker tub, and a huge walk-in shower. The remodel came out great but we needed to do the new walk-in closet. I tried other companies but Closet World was very accommodating with my work/time restrains. Roxanne (Closet World consultant) came on a Saturday morning. WOW! She was extremely professional. Her knowledge and expertise were like no other. Roxanne took the time and patience to go over all my options. I would 100 % recommend Closet World and especial Roxanne. She was so kind and understanding. Roxanne took her time and went over all the layouts. She is a huge asset to Closet World.Thank you so much!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE customer service. I ordered my pantry installation in April 2021. They said itd take 2months since they were backed up. I patiently waited for 2 months for my installation which was scheduled for June 30th. I called a week before my installation date to confirm the schedule. They informed me everything looks good to go. I took time off work for the installation tomorrow but nobody called to confirm the time so I called 3 times today. First they said, they will notify me in the afternoon when their schedule is finalized. Waited but no call. 2nd time I called they said the schedule is not finalized yet but they confirmed that my name was on the list for tomorrows installation. Waited but no call. 3rd time I called they said my order was cancelled without my knowledge and they said they dont know why. After the 3rd call, I called two more times and demanded to talk to someone but it was a call center and they just kept saying that they will relay the message to the management. They took 50% of the deposit back in April and without my knowledge the order was cancelled and no refund was issued either.This is nothing but a nightmare. I could have gone with another company instead of waiting for two months and find out this ridiculous situation.I am very very upset and disappointed.DO NOT WASTE Y0UR VALUABLE MONEY ON THIS COMPANY.They have the worst customer service and they dont have a clue what they are doing.

It has been over 2 months I had a designer over. My installation date was August 16th, I got a called to reschedule, which made me very upset. I took a day off from work, no pay no installation. They took half of my money already until today . I can get an installation date. This company has been the worst. Im still trying to get my money back since installation is not happening. Never never contact this company. Not friendly, no communication.

The worst experience of 2021!! I sat with the designer for 3 1/2 hours only to wait 3 months for the wrong closet SYSTEMS to arrive. The closets were not the right size and the handles were wrong.I spoke with a manager Diego Barega, who told me dont worry he would take care of everything! So the technician who was a GREAT guy..Very professional and understanding left..He return a week later with the SAME closets and handles.When I called Diego Barega he told me that i would not be getting the correct measurement of the closets and that the 12 handles which were included in my order and estimate would cost an extra $800.00...What a rip off!!

We had an amazing experience with Jack, our designer. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and took our budget and aesthetic into consideration all while providing exceptional service. We will definitely be calling him when we move forward with further projects. We are very happy and completely satisfied.

Worst choice I could have made to go with these people. I should have not even let it even go to scheduling after appraiser flaked out and left then tried to come back later after insisting she will wait around my neighborhood. Scheduled me almost 3 months out for installation and yet charged me for 2 different amounts. Called to cancel and got transferred to different girls that would disconnect my calls. Girls had attitude and would tell me I need to speak with another department. Hopefully I will get a refund but from the looks of it I will probably get the runaround. Don’t use these people.

My initial contact with the closet designer was great and the installation guys were fast and vet friendly. The reseptionist on the other hand were very short very little information was given and with a rude tone of voice kike they didnt like their job. The day before the installation on of them said I needed to take every single thing out of my closet or the wouldn’t install my sliding doors. The day of the installation the guys told me they couldve done the work without taking anything out!! I was so upset its like the receptionist dont even know what the heck theyre doing. If they wouldve been more friendly and helpful I wouldve given 5 stars.

Marlene was a pleasure to work with. She is soooo nice and patient. She made sure I was happy with the design and she was just the best. I am also really excited for my new closet. I would like to move the installation date up, but other than that, I am happy with the materials Closet World has to offer. Im looking forward to seeing the round edged shelves installed.

My sales rep, Mia, is a pleasure to deal with. She is professional, thorough and helpful. Mia priced out different designs and gave me different options for my closet and cabinet needs. She is always on time and she promptly responds to my questions.

The installation of sliding mirror doors on a closet was prompt and they did not cause collateral damage to other things in the room. It looks great. I appreciated that the rep didnt push an upsell too hard. This was done about 2 months ago and the door still slides smoothly and hasnt sustained scratches.I thought it was just a little too expensive to just put sliding mirror doors on a closet, but when factoring the cost of free consultations, time, liability for possible damage during install, and materials on custom installs, its pretty fair. I actually need to have another job done, which will be almost the same exact order in a different room and I plan on being a repeat customer soon.

The absolute worst customer service I have received in a long time. Managers Roman and Ethan are equally useless. Screwed up my project three times and its still not done. Communication with the customer is non-existent. Would not wish this company on my worst enemy. Stay away if you value your time and money.

Terrible company. Had 2 closets done. First was good, but the sales rep was bad. She overstayed her welcome for well over an hour. The meeting could have been done in 1 hour, more than two hours later, I had to end it after she repeated herself about 10 times. Next closet was a disaster. The edges werent cut properly, there were paint smudges left on the items and one of the drawers didnt open at all. It took over two months for them to even schedule someone to come out and repair out. I then also requested additional shelves for the first closet. I was sent a contract to sign and return and told it would be processed. sounded to me like they would be charging the account on file from my previous two closets, two months later and multiple emails later they tell me that the credit card info needed to be provided again on that form. So, I provided it and they charged it. But still no product, I emailed a few times and no answer and now I got an email from my credit card company showing a refund from Closet World! This whole experience has sucked from start to finish!

I highly recommend that you avoid using these people. I hired them approximately 1.5 years ago. They sent out their most experience, expert saleswoman and frankly, I made a big mistake trusting her. The gross error in her design wasnt obvious until installation day when it become apparent that she neglected to account for the ceiling downlights in the closet. The deeper portions of the closet were directly under the lights, blocking much of the light! Unfortunately, the installers did not have adequate components to fix her terrible design and I couldnt wait as the house was already in escrow. I sold that house a year ago this month. Fast forward to today....apparently the folks who purchased the house must have like the work Closet World completed because they have hired them twice since taking possession! How do I know this? Simply because BOTH TIMES, I receive a barrage of emails and phone calls alerting me to the upcoming project. I politely inform the person who calls that I no longer own the house and that they should disconnect my contact information from the property. Tonight, I received a follow-up call from a gal named Naomi asking me how the installation yesterday went. Again, I politely explained the situation and she offered to transfer me to another Closet World extension in order that I could clear-up the confusion. I politely responded to her that I was not on the payroll of Closet World and that if they expected me to clear-up THEIR mistakes, they should at least pay me a commission on the sale. Naomi simply hung up. Lots of closet installation competition out there. Find someone other than Closet World.

I would do business again with them at the drop of a hat! From my designer to the installers the entire experience was fabulous and I am so happy with the look of the cabinets and the way it came out. They are sturdy and washable and so far hold more than I thought they would! I am going to think about another area of my home where I can use their services again!

Such a bad experience. Took 2 months from signing the contract to install day. During that time no one called and touched base with me . I specifically told the woman who sold me the 2 closets that I wanted the back panels but on the day of the install the guys told me that it was never included and I did not pay for it so now I have walls with patched up holes and nothing covering them. The customer service department was horrible and a rude woman put me on hold and hung up on me. I would never do or recommend doing business with them again . I could of naught this stuff at Home Depot and it would have looked the same . I’m so disappointed, looks so cheap

Closet World representative was on time, thorough and professional. She used product miniature model, diagrams and explained purchase procedures - including follow-up information. An excellent experience. Thank you👍

The help I received from Angelyna was amazing. The installation took less than one hour. Everyone was very nice and very professional. All employees wore their masks and distanced. Very good experience, and I love the finished product.

This company is full of fraud. They took my check for installation- had someone show up AT NIGHT to install it -- hours after he was scheduled and when I sent them away-- THEY NEVER RESCHEDULED OR RETURNED MY CALLS. They literally STOLE my money and now I cant get anyone on the phone.

Closet world is by far the biggest rip off for Closet organizers and garage cabinets. I am only writing this to help customers realize their scam. The get you hooked on the product then dont follow through. when the installers came to do the install they installers said they could not do the job because two of the walls measurements were wrong. When I called to speak with installation management I some how got into a very personal conversation where the manager was yelling and screaming at me I told him I was a disabled veteran and he says to me Hmm well they tried to offer me that as well and I turned them down. (That was Paul) Adrian the other manager seems to know his stuff and he and I were doing well with getting things resolved from the failure of the proper measurements of the garage cabinets. The Job was never completed Greg Smith from there corporate office emailed me and said I was only given three days after signing the contract to cancel and would not get my deposit back or the hold on the wells fargo charge removed. Even though what I signed for is impossible per state and county laws You can not cover electrical outlets and switches but per the drawing that Closet world is holding to is clearly shows electrical outlets being covered. Plus you would have to get a permit to move my horizontal support beam on my house to put another cabinet in place. Also when they say floor to ceiling its not really floor to ceiling its a maximum of 90inches. Theres a complete lack of business morality with Closet World Beware of this company

Easy to make an appointment for a designer to do a site visit to measure. My designer, Haim, arrived on time and was very open and honest about the available products. I really think he guided me to make the best choice for the replacement of 2 sliding closet doors.

Shes excellent nice person

This was the second time we have used Closet World. The first time they installed a murphy bed + cabinet in the bedroom (around $3500 as I recall), and did a craft closet organizer (around $1000 as I recall), which we have been enjoying very much. The design, scheduling, price, and post-experience with the quality were such that we decided to go with them again. I would say if youre looking to have something that isnt off-the shelf, but you dont want to do one or all of the steps yourself, then this is a good option. For this next time were getting a built-in bookshelf unit + mantle around our fireplace ($1028) that matches our other woodwork. Marlene came on time, was polite and adapted to our environment, saw the job, made an initial design, modified it to our specifications, and then scheduled us for install. So far, so good....

Loved them until a piece broke. They have come down to my home 4 times with the wrong part. Still dont have functional closet. Still waiting after a month! Not happy and will never recommend them to anyone!

Our representative was wonderful. She was very patient and helped us design exactly what we are looking for with our garage storage solution. Great experience overall!

Excellent service by the interior designer, competitive price and good financing. I ordered a closet for he bedroom and large shelving for the garage. I did have to wait nearly 8 weeks from order data to delivery. The installers did a very good job and the closet and shelving looks great. Overall, the entire experience was very positive and I would recommend Closet World anytime.

I have been very impressed with the work have been done in my living room. John Lai in particular was super professional and courteous through the project. He cleaned up the space after the installation.

If you want to pay for closets that are poorer quality than buying something from Home Depot then this is the one for you. Dont give this company any money. They installed the wrong components and wont own up to their own mistakes. Sometimes the fixes are worse than original problem. I dont understand how a company like them can operate.

This is the first time Ive done a closet remodel so I wasnt sure what to expect. I really thought the designer would come over and try to up sell me on everything. Melissa wasnt like that at all, she was wonderful. She went out of her way to explain the process and all of the options. She made it her goal to get me exactly what I wanted and nothing else. I cant say enough nice things about her or closet world other than were having her come out to do another closet, a garage and a workstation. That should tell you everything you need to know.

This company is a rip off. First they are misrepresenting themselves as custom closet makers, this they are not. Also, they advertise that they will give a 50% discount, this is so untrue. They actually beef up their price and then cut 50o% off which the consumer will buy it thinking they are getting a big discount. I actually thought I was interested in a garage flooring. There discounted price was $3,800. I actually when to another company and bought the same floor for a total of $1,900, that company is reputable, called Organize it. Great customer service and quick.

Karen was really great and helped us out immensely. She took our ideas and added her suggestions to make the perfect closet for us. We are so happy with Karen and Closet World. We can’t wait until our closet is installed.

Please stay away from this company. If anything goes wrong with your order, they do not care they just want your money. I was charged over $3,570 for a project they never started, and they refuse to refund me or even take my calls. The president of sales, Gregg has very poor customer service and does not even take the time to understand what is going on with the orders before telling you that you are in the wrong and he is not refunding anything.My experience:A sales rep came out to my home and provided a quote for closet and garage organization on 9/26. It was required that we put a 50% deposit down but I was assured that I had 3 days to change my mind and receive a full refund. On Sunday 9/27 I called the sales rep to let her know that I would be cancelling the order. I talked it over with my husband and the cost was just way over budget for us. She told me that I would need to call customer support to send my cancellation directly to them. I not only spoke to customer support but also emailed my cancellation request on 9/28. Since there were 2 quotes written up, I was sure to sign 2 Notice of Cancellation forms.Closet World only canceled one order and refused to refund my 50% deposit of the 2nd order which is basically $1785. I do not believe that I should have to pay $1785 because Closet World has poor communication with their customers. They never sent me any notification that there was an issue or discrepancy in my cancellation. I verbally notified them that I wanted to cancel my full order. Which they apparently see as 2 orders. I had one sales rep come out one time, I see it as only one order but feel that I should have received a full refund as my intention was to cancel and I made that request within the 3 day policy.In addition to not refunding the $1785, they have decided to charge me an additional $1785 because apparently, they have in there records that the product was installed. This is not true; they did not install anything in my home. They called to let me know they would be out for installation and this was the first time I realized there was an issue with the cancellation. Then the next day they showed up at my home to install and again I told them that the order had been cancelled. This is the worst company I have ever done business with. What a rip-off, this is fraud. How do you charge a customer for product that they canceled and how do you charge a customer for product that was never received or installed? How do you not take any accountability for the way you are treating your customers? You can’t even return phone calls. Gregg you should not be any type of Manager, you do not even know how to treat people.

Strongly DO NOT recommend. HORRIBLE customer service and EXPENSIVE subpar product (told us we got “50% off,” likely a sales tactic...)The designer came on time (the only thing that went right), drew up what we wanted, told us what we wanted to hear but ultimately, the product was not all its chalked up to be. The designer kept saying how long closet world has been in business, how long he’s been with the company, etc. Definitely built up the reputation of the company. Not only was the product NOT as it shows in the catalogs (frequently used throughout the design/sales pitch), the customer service was some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. I worked in customer service for years and know the customer is always right. Closet World doesn’t operate under the same values.Sure in COVID times we expect time delays, but communication would be great. Nope! Don’t expect that. Furthermore, I was told on several occasions that I (the customer!) was wrong. One reason we went with closet world was because they assured us their glass doors on a wall unit come with some sort of mechanism that would prevent the doors from opening & items falling out if there was an earthquake (we live in California, earthquakes are likely). Well this isn’t correct information! The (misogynist) “boss” told me flat out: “this is your fault.” He said, “Go to Home Depot and buy your own magnet. It doesn’t say anything about that on your order and you didn’t pay for it. This is your fault.” They had zero interest in even listening to the customer or working towards conflict resolution. This is not a company we will support again; in fact, I caution anyone against using them! 2.5 months later, we had our THIRD install of the same product. Doesn’t look how it’s supposed to. But because we’re over them coming back with incorrect or bad product, we are settling with what we have and will figure something else out.OH! Lastly, they don’t really clean up after themselves, aside from a gallon jug of acetone they bring in and wipe down their product with. They made large, noticeable pencil marks on our wall (to designate where the studs are maybe?!) and left them there! When we brought this to their attention, they told us to get another person to paint over them since eraser marks would make the marks worse. So now Closet World demands we pay someone else to come fix their mess?! Ha! Jokes on us. Naturally this would become the motto working with them... everything is the customer’s fault & as the customer, you’ll have to remedy their mistakes.Since initially writing this post, still no one from closet world has reached out to try to make the situation better or hear about our experience or offer any type of compensation.

I wanted to share our incredible experience we had with lead designer Aneta Makaveeva for our garage cabinet and flooring renovation process! Aneta was just awesome - a true professional who was very friendly and enthusiastic about her craft and her companys products. We were extremely pleased with her design ideas to maximize the space in our garage - we would have never thought about a corner cabinet without doors to maximize space but she recommended it immediately. She was able to get on the phone with a supervisor of the company and negotiate the same price for a more-expensive flooring that we wished to go with. A definite great experience overall!

We paid 15,000 dollars for a medium size walk in closet back in 2015. We live between NY and LA and the closet was barely used during these years. The quality of finishing is so poor that the top layer is peeling in multiple places, both tilted hampers stopped working (one fell on my feet and hurt me), several decorative planks fell off. I have been trying to schedule repairs under their “7-year warranty” with no result! Originally I was told over the phone that they charge 89 dollars to come in to do repairs and all I need to do is to make a list of what is needed. I made a list and called them to schedule but this time was told they will charge me $120 dollars for someone to just “come to look at the damages and to give me an estimate”! I was shocked and mentioned the warranty but the representative laughed at me and said “what? You have so many damages, you want a brand new closet?” She refused to connect me to her supervisor. I tried to email my questions to them-no answer, called and asked for a supervisor many times- he is never available/at lunch/gone for the day. Today I signed the agreement to pay $120for them to just come over since I have no chpice. When I called to schedule an appointment, after signing the agreement, I was told they can’t schedule me in because everyone is gone for today and they are also very busy! Imagine that! I will be posting multiple photos I have. Please don’t repeat my mistakes, don’t order anything from this company! There are other companies who do stand behind their products. Their closets are junk, customer service is non-existed.

Great experience from start to finish. Designer came to house and gave me great ideas for organizing my master walk-in closet. Installers did a great job turning the design into a solid, functional, reality. Thank you!

I am writing to see if you could help in anyway regarding how myself, a customer, of Closet World is being unfairly treated with simply trying to get an explanation and come to an understanding of how my business transaction with their Designer has ruined the opportunity for my garage to be organized by her “custom design” submission.I especially explained to her where it was best for me to have the cabinets made to fit and installed so I may preserve my husbands garage tools equipment, and life possessions since he has passed away.I was assured verbally by the Designer that the cabinets based on her design would work well and fit, plus “that I would love them.”I was turned down for resolving this problem with Closet Worlds Installation Manager and Vice President of Installation and was never able to speak with the President of Installation as well as the  CEO of Closet World. Also, I was not able to have the full names of the people I did speak to even with asking.Plus, I have no cabinets, and according to the two installers that came to my home, on 11/4/20 said they could possibly only install 3 cabinets.  I never even saw the cabinets.  Not to mention Closet World has my money saying they do not do refunds.I believe many people need to be made aware of doing Business with Closet World and do their own research.Thank you

Nancy was fantastic to work with. She was patient, listened to our requests and gave great suggestions for space organization. Would definitely recommend her and closet world.

The designer who came out was great, very friendly and really spent time with us trying to design the right layout for our garage. Besides the usually sales tactics she tried to pull when it came time for numbers (we both work in sales and know how it all works) we came to a decent price.Unfortunately they came out to install the cabinets after 4 weeks of waiting and they never finished and still have yet to come out. They mis-measured two of the cabinets and said they need to go back and cut new ones and come back to install. They charged us for the full amount and we havent heard back from them.

First of all, not the installers fault, but on the day of my appointment only one gentleman showed up when 2 were needed, so they had to come back the next day to finish. I was told that they would arrive between 11AM-3PM and the did not show till 445PM. After they finished it looked clean but when I went to put things on the shelves, only the eye level shelves were clean. Also looking over all of the installation some of it looks a little shody. One of the permanent shelves did not have the correct hardware for it. Some shelves did not seem flush with the wall. One of the bottom covers is actually too short and if it gets hit, it will have to be readjusted. The installer was nice and friendly. All in all, it looks great, as long as you dont look too closely.

Michael was fantastic! Very helpful, knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. Appreciated how respectful he was of COVID safety guidelines. Our in-home consultation was an all-around great experience.

The installed did an excellent job on our closets, they did three of them for us. They were early, professional and got it all done in just a few hours. The product and end result is excellent!

The designer, Lilly, that came out to do the visit was so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and worked with me on the door project to fit within our budget. Highly recommend!We will have installation done in coming weeks.

Nice but too sales gimmicky.

The sales representative listened to my needs. She created a workable collection of desk and cabinets to hold all of my needed items. The construction crew arrived on time, efficiently constructed the full system and cleaned up after they finished. Have gotten nothing but kudos from friends who saw the new room arrangement.

My closet consultant was knowledgable and professional. I only wish they would have been more proactive with wearing their covid mask properly over the nose. Otherwise, Im very happy with their design

After I came back home from college I needed my bedroom closets to be fixed up to fit all of my clothes and shoes. My closet was very old and outdated. I am so happy I decided to go with Closet World where they helped me with everything from the initial design to the finished project. They were very caring and took the time to go over every step with me and my family to bring my idea to life. Best of all they finished everything in a timely manner. I highly recommend them for anyone who needs to change their living space. Thank you to your team!

Our designer, Renee, was 15 minutes late, but immediately acknowledged it upon arrival. Her design services were thorough, and she seemed like she had been doing this for a long time. Her first design was cost effective and gave us the option to add more to it if we wanted to. I appreciated that she went cost effective first, rather than most expensive first and then having to cut things to fit into our budget. We paid right then and there and are excited for our new master closet!

Marielena was the nicest most professional sales consultants I have ever dealt with. We had a great time designing my daughters closet and look forward to working with her on the next one.

It started with the incorrect design of my garage. The designer had me removing a light, which I didnt agree to do. The removal of the light would have had to be done prior to the installation. I had to wait several months for the installation so I compromised. I couldnt have the cabinets together and that left a space between. Unfortunately, that is not the worst of it. I had so much damage with my shelving. I called Diego and emailed him the photos of the damage 0 response. Spoke to manager same experience 0! Consumer STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!
