I was having problems with finding parts for my 783. The younger gentleman, possibly in his 20s, I shouldve asked for his name for praise. He met with me multiple times and assisted with finding and special ordering the parts I needed and went out of his way make sure they fit my rifle and to help apply the parts. He deserves special recognition for his awesome customer service and I will definitely be back for any more gun services I need. 10/10

Three representatives working behind the counter as I walked in, I did receive the greeting of the day, and that was it! My wife walked in 10 minutes after me finishing up with a phone call. As she was walking in the guys made a comment, to the effect, great helping another woman, in a condescending manner. Funny thing is she is why we went to the shop. She was there to purchase...purchase a Springfield Hellcat. She was could not decide between optic or iron sight. We waited at the counter...nothing, she approached the register and the representative walked passed her to help a male customer. Now I had been standing watching her stand there, and waited for help myself. My purpose was to purchase a Votex Viper scope. A representative approached, walked passed to help another customer! I said hello, the reply was nothing. So we left. Went on line to Gunbroker.com and spent $1469 on buy now item. Spending more than intended.

Went to this establishment to kill time while waiting on tires to be put on car. Dave took the time to show myself and wife everything. This was a month ago. I went back today and Dave remembered me. Showed me what I asked too see, then steered me to one less expensive, that I liked more. Great service, knowledgeable. Maybe a little more than other places, but I walked out with what I wanted. I will be back.

Thought gun prices were average. Customer service could be better. Just felt like they werent attentive like a lot of fun shops are. But thats fine. I do my research if the knowledge from staff isnt there. Id definitely buy another gun and if ammo is available Id buy there to. No real issues.

They didnt have a Smith on staff for years I was told but the guy was helpful and nice.

Went in to look for 3 guns. One 9mm lc Ruger als, a 9mm carbine, and a 12 gauge. I work for a small business, and was told to check out the Marksman since they’ve done business with the ship I work for. I walk in to see an older grey haired man with goatee, and another younger man employee looking through a magazine. He looked up at me and asked what I needed, I started to tell him I was looking for a handgun, LC. As I was telling him, I guess I was not speaking fast enough, and he motioned me to speed it up. When I finished he said, “No more Rugers. All out.”. So I began to ask about a carbine (rifle) in a Ruger. He said firmly, “No more Rugers!”. He did not offer to show any others or guide me to look at his inventory. The store only had one customer besides me. I was a bother, I guess. I work in customer service, and my boss is using this experience I had here at Marksman as a lesson on how NOT interact with customers. Maybe act as if every customer is new to the shop, and idk maybe treat them all with the same respect? I have never bought a gun before, and I was trying to buy 3, with ammo! My experience here was horrible. I went to the Armory down the street on Kemp. It’s a small, but awesome gun shop. Really helpful, and didn’t treat me like I was stupid or a burden. I hope Marksman work on their customer service. I will never try to shop there again.

Being from California the gun prices were even more expensive here and had very poor customer service wasnt even acknowledged one time. Maybe it had something to do with me being with my asian friend because other white customers that came in were acknowledged and helped quickly. Save the time and go somewhere else!

Joey, was great and professional. He helped me so much today while I was looking for fishing gear. I do not know anything about bass fishing and he took upon his self to help give me advice about what type of lures to choose. He even offered to show me how to Texas rig my plastic bait. I will definitely be returning to marksmen in the future.

Pricing was ok considering current ammo prices. Very friendly staff and good selection.

Staff was racist. As soon as we stepped in they acted like we didnt walk in. The customers who walked in after us were white and got treated very kindly. Wouldnt recommend coming here. Prices are even a lot more than other places in town.

Prices were way too high,,surprised they are still in business, guess since the owner owns restaurants they are really not in touch with the gun industry, plus the owner is not local,,so there you go. shop from people that are local.

The prices are way too high. In a lot of cases the prices are double what they should be. Mostly lowend/ budget firearms being sold at high end prices. I dont have a clue how theyre still open.

Cool store, a lot to look at but that was about it after seeing prices I will not go back again. I went in on Saturday to see if they had any reloading stuff and they did, a good selection of stuff, but it is way over priced. I was looking at the primers which were 47.xx plus tax and Academy right down the road has them 39.99 plus tax. The gun powder prices were way to high. For the appearance of the store a 5 star.

Its as if they hired some kids that were working in a western wear store to come sell guns. Their pricing is absolute robbery and I really cant see the place being around long. Hire some knowledgeable guys and get right on prices or close those doors.

Great looking store above all else, however the prices are outrageous. If your selling they way underbid you or if your buying(and it doesn’t matter what) expect to pay at least manufactures retail if not more, more in most cases. Lost all interest in this store. Thought it was going to be a good one.

Dropped by the Grand Opening on Saturday morning. Nice store. I am glad Marksman Firearms and Outfitters chose to open a store in Wichita Falls. I think you guys will do well here. Good luck and welcome to Wichita Falls!

Staff is ok when you can get their attention.But the prices on handguns is anywhere from $80.00-$150 higher than anywhere else.Even if they boast a 10% discount on the front door, that’s because they are marked up so high.

Lots of eye candy. Nice, clean store. Staff is moderately knowledgeable about the products they sell. But none of this makes up for the pricing over the MSRP!! If you ever want to have a coronary due to sticker shock this is the place to go!

Professional, knowledge and just overall excellent staff. I have purchased several guns and other items from their store and have always had the same great customer service.

This place is ridiculous! I attempted to buy a pistol and was going to trade my 1911 in... they had the audacity to offer 50% of its value claiming that they “have to make money” I told them I agreed but that’s no reason to try to bend people over! Before I left I attempted to purchase an ar15 valued at 700-750 but they told me they built it in a $500 build your own AR classwith maybe $150 worth of upgrades on it, it was for sell on the rack but belonged to someone who worked there and they didn’t know the price for it... I offered $850 and was scoffed at! They told me to come back in a few days and they would know a price. I explained to them that I was staying about an hour away, and received the old shoulder shrug. Great choice I’d say! Fast forward, about a MONTH AND A HALF! This past Friday I was in the area and thought against my better judgment that I’d give them another chance... stupid is as stupid does. So I walk in and as I look around, I was recognized to which I asked about the AR15 and they say they still have it, I ask how much they decided they want for it. The man at the counter says they have not put a price on it yet...are you kidding me???? Is what you may be asking, but I am not! Literally 50 some odd days have passed and there is still not a price on this rifle! He sends out a text trying to get a price. And I waited for a response, like an idiot. After about half an hour of looking around I tell the team I would like them to come up with a price, to which he replied he will have a price on it Monday... again I inform him that I was not staying in town, and in fact on Wednesday I moving about 2hrs south to which I received yet another shoulder shrug...I called today Monday at noon was told still no price and to check back in an hour once the Manager gets in. I called back at 3 only to be told they will have to call me back...they called back wanting $1200Game over

I took the LTC class in Mansfield and Mr. West was an amazing instucinst .. I though I knew alot about things and I did ... But he educated me about alot of things I had no clue about . If youre in the area ... Take the class offered by Marksmen and educate yourself!

I guess these folks have forgot about the internet and the consumers ability to price check while we shop. Went in looking for a handguard. Manufacturer list price was $199.99, in store price was $249.99. I wont be going back!

Store was selling many firearms and most of the ammo well above the manufactures full sugested retail, a particular Beretta shotgun was over $300 above retail! I addressed this to the store employee and I even noted that the same gun on their online web site was less money than this Wichita falls store. ? No reasonable answer was given. Ill not waste my time there again and will warn my friends of the overpriced program. For a $300. Savings on one shotgun alone, I could drive to Cabelas find the same gun for at least $370. less,receive a miltary discount and purchase points for futre purchases, have money left over, not be financially gouged and be abelmto take my family out to dinner twice, buy a decent bottle of single malt,fill my humidore and still have a little change left.

Good selection of good qualities and very friendly

Went to get sights put on my pistol, the armorer broke my front sight. They didnt replace them. I went a second time with different sights, they made me pay again and broke the second set.

The prices are too high and Ive had a couple of bad experiences with employees here

The employees are very rude and are not willing to help you a friend and I walked in there to look at guns we walked around and were wanting to look at some guns not one employee asked if we wanted to look at anything we were in there for 20 minutes before I just had to ask employees several times if we could look at some guns never would recommend shopping here there are better places to buy guns or and supplies that you could get in there they are overpriced anyways!
