Items that I wanted and drove two hours to purchase was not in-stock. Also I got the feeling that the people there really didnt care.

When we had an issue with a $1000 piece of equipment, Justin (manager) made sure it was taken care of right away. Great customer service, friendly people.

The Wichita Northern Tool store is a very nice store. Every time I have been in there, it is very organized and clean, and I can find the items Im looking for easily. I have always had good customer service as well!!

It is a quality tool store with good prices and occasional bargains to be found. I have gone several times looking for various products.

I was talking to an employee about a garage heater when his phone started ringing to my shock he answered and started talking about doing work for someone and stayed on the phone atleast 5 minutes i stood there patiently while he paced the floor and talked . He hung up the phone and a customer walked up asked him a question and he left me standing there !!!!! Customer service at its finest 👌

Cant write a review for the people I spoke with on the phone, so I selected a store. I ordered something on the website ad paid for 2nd day air. UPS messed up and didnt keep track of the package, or update the info in the file or update me on the status of the delivery, nothing.Northern Tool + Equipment not only issued a reorder on my item (with 2nd day air) but also refunded the cost of 2nd day air. Extremely satisfied with the service provided.

The store had NOTHING that was supposed to have been there. Had to order everything except nut drivers! Wished we would have gone to Harbor Freight. Also we ordered our items and now have to wait 2 weeks and then drive back another 80 miles (one way) to pick it up! Not happy!

Prices are okay, but they didnt have what I needed... and its a tool store. Anothr major problem for me at least...How hard is it to put a couple hooks on the wall in the ladies bathroom to hang your purse on, or your jacket? I mean seriously having to put your purse or your jacket on the nasty dirty floor is real sanitary...so gross.

I had no idea this store was even here until tonight. I like the selection of items they have from tools to camping gear and clothing. The prices are very competitive and the employees are friendly. Check out their bargain bins, sales and clearance items for great deals! I will most definitely refer friends here in the future and return myself next time Im in need of a tool or going camping.

Helpful service but full list price

I went in to find a vise clamp for my father who lives four hours away. I walk in and wasn’t greeted (least of my worries) I politely ask a woman working if she would help me whenever she had time, she was putting labels on an endcap. She didn’t even say yes, didn’t acknowledge me and just sighed and pulled out her device and just short answered everything “no. Don’t have it, etc.” customer service/people skills were HORRIBLE. I always have a pleasant time when the male employees are working, not only because of their knowledge, but they are so willing to help me find whatever my dad sends me on a mission for. Out of the three ladies only one was willing to help me find what I was looking for and offered suggestions. I felt like I was just such an inconvenience for the other two ladies.

Christmas shopping is never fun for me. Shopped online first and picked out the gift, checked and it showed instock for local pick-up. Arrived at the store and was greated with a smile and can I help you find something. Knowegable staff memeber with help full information about the item. Carried to the check-out station, suggested I continue to shop. This was a great experience, five stars!

While I like northern tool, the retail store here in Wichita has some learning to do. Their jobs quite literally hang in the balance. If my shopping experience online is better, and easier, then a retail location is obsolete. I shop local retail for CUSTOMER SERVICE. For the idea that they might bend over backwards to make something right. If this isnt the case their store will dry up and blow away like so much other brick and mortar. I hope they figure this out before its too late. Summary- they pissed me off

Store lost its best mechanic walked in with intentions of buying a pressure washer. The sales rep knew nothing about them could not get back out fast enough cashier at the front desk was very grumpy to boot!

My family owns a home center, and maybe I have expectations in my head of how things should go, but I didn’t leave with the best feeling as a customer. We were overcharged for our item, which was remedied when I brought it to their attention, so no complaints there, but the gentleman who rolled our hand truck out to my vehicle walked right past me with it in the store to wait at the door. No acknowledgement of any kind. And when I greeted him to lead him outside, he never responded. Thinking that maybe he had some hearing difficulties, I spoke up, still with no response or reply. It wasn’t until we got the hand truck to my vehicle that he spoke to me or responded to my comments about getting the hand truck up in the truck bed. I know people have bad days, but it was very off-putting to be treated like that without cause. I may give them another try, but my initial knee-jerk response was to never go back. Maybe it doesn’t merit a two-star review, but when you’re in retail, I believe that it’s all about the customer experience, and for the most part, I did not have the best one.

Its an OK tool store, basically full of cheap Chinese tools like Harbor freight, maybe slightly higher quality, and slightly higher prices. They have a better outdoor tool selection than Harbor Freight.

Looking for parts to build a trailer. They have a good selection of spindles and hubs.

Ridiculous customer service regarding parts and repair department. Took nearly a calendar month to replace carburetor that was janky out of the box. Sure i purchased extended platinum warranty and wasnt charged for the repair. When I spoke with the warranty company they also extended replacement for the broken trigger on the unit that somehow cracked and splintered. Do ya think in the month the clowns at NT had my pole saw that they might have also been sure to send it out the door fully operable? Hell No they didnt. Junk merchandise, junk customer service, junk warranty service. Harbor Freight gottem beat in every aspect and their a last option store IMO. Middle Fingers to Northern Tool, cause I can.

Waited in line for 20 mins, took the clerk 20 mins to ring 1 person up. I finally gave up and she even asked the manager to help zero response.

Store hours say they close at 8 and I needed a motor and drove a hr to get here by time they closed and they locked the door in my face. Guess you don’t need my money. I would rather pay double elsewhere. Worst customer service ever. I even called them and they said the register was closed but still had customers in the store.

Tools that youd wouldnt find at most stores. Most of these tools are not for the weekend diy. Tools for the smallest to the really big progects. Every tool youd need an then some

Shop here if you want to be looked at like you are a thief.I dont like being followed throughout any store and looked at like I was some sort of thief.The worst part about it was i was with the owner of the company i work for.This store is extremely small and to be followed throughout it is extremely offensive.so if you like to be stalked and made uncomfortable this is the store for you.The and part about it was we were dressed like mechanics and a little dirty from the job we were currently and sad part was we spent good money in that store three days before that but at that time we were dressed in our weekend clothes which for me was a polo shirt and golf shorts which isnt typically what I would be dressed in if I was on the job

Bought extended warrenty and the product didnt function right of box.. had to fight for a refund even though the product was faulty. Wasnt even given full refund. Manager was very rude and condescending. I wont ever return.
