With the weather starting to cool off some I knew a remote car starter would be needed for this winter. I called on Thursday and they were able to get me in the next day. The entire experience from the start was great..the customer service as soon as you opened the door to the very end was professional and understanding. They explained the process and showed me everything I needed to know and answering any questions I had. I highly recommend!!Thank YOU 316 Customs!

Defective Installation Workmanship, Failure to Honor Warranty - If there was something less that a 1 Star Review Available, I would have selected it. 316 Customs located at 7110 W Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67212, installed my CarPlay radio in my 2020 Prius. When I picked up the vehicle, all the lights on the dashboard were lit up, a Warning Message and incessant beep to release parking brake. In addition the cruise control was disabled.The following day I went back and spoke with Corey who told me it was like that when I dropped off the car, however, that was not true and not noted on any sales form when I paid the $960 cash. Corey stated the electrical problems had nothing to do with the radio install.As soon as I could I took the car in for service to Eddys Toyota who charged $395 for diagnostics and to rewire the incorrect wiring on the back up light and camera causing an electrical short.I visited 316 Customs and was told by Corey he was not authorized to refund, it was an Owner decision. For weeks now despite follow-up phone calls and emails, no response at all, except to call back.Knowing how they treat customers in the event of a problem, I would not have allowed 316 Customs. Not only do I feel cheated out of $395 (auto dealer cost to repair), I was without my vehicle for 1 day and had to travel to and from the car dealer 4 times.I plan to pursue this matter with the BBB, Attorney General Complaint and Rip-Off Report and other review sites as time permits until I am reimbursed.

Top notch customer service. They installed a remote start system in my vehicle (which I love) and they are looking into custom features/settings for me so it will operate my lift gate. I decided to have this installed because my stock remote wasnt working properly.I will be having a new amplifier installed for my subs in a few weeks. I will recommend 316 Customs to anyone that inquires.

My husband and I had the pleasure of doing business with Jordan,Gavin and Cory. Very nice and knowledgeable guys. Went above and beyond to help us out with an alarm system and 12 in. Subwoof and Amp. They got me everything I wanted and explained the functions of it all. I got home after they had already closed on a Friday and I had some questions about the alarm system my husband called the owner Jordan and left a message, I could not believe it he called me right back and answered my questions and went step by step with me and made sure I totally understand what I was doing. This place is awesome. I had some issues with my new radio I was trying to install in my Honda, so I called 316 customs. Gavin was able to answer all of my questions and made an appointment. They were able to install it within 2 hours. Ill be back in a few months to get a remote start installed.Definitely recommend this shop!

This will not be a normal review. If you want to read this, light a smoke and get a drink... Its gonna take a minute.I moved here from Detroit Michigan. Up in the D our car audio is VERY important to us. Theres a certain shop that we use because they know all there is to know about car audio systems. They know what products works best in which vehicles and they know the latest trends in the industry. Their prices were such that they made a living and kept the lights on but didnt break the bank of their customers. Anyone from beginning car audio customers all the way to National Competition customers went to this shop. You were never disappointed when you left ...Now I know what youre thinking.. how does that help you here in Wichita KS?!?! Well Im gonna tell you... When I moved here I did so, WELL after my prime. My car audio needs, whereas not beginner, were no where close to where I had been. Now I admit I knew little of where to go here in Wichita. Needless to say I missed home. So I went to 3 different shops(left unnamed) and bought something from all 3. I was 100% dissatisfied every time. When I told the guys I wasnt happy they said well thats what you paid for. I was furious!! This is the best this city has to offer?!?!Folks thats when I walked into 316 Customs. Jordan helped me and knew exactly what I needed. Me, not being new, thought I knew what I needed too. So like a BOSS I argued with Jordan and told him what to put in my truck. And Jordan did exactly what I asked. Two days later I came back... I had to apologize and let Jordan know he was correct. And I had to pay for the correct things to go into my truck. Which I shouldve had in the first place... I am tickled red white and blue! Amazing sounds...Now to sum up... Best shop in Wichita for car audio is this shop. Talk to Jordan, or associates, tell them exactly what you want it to sound like, do NOT argue with what they want to do and it will be amazing! Their pricing is also the best in Wichita. They take their time to make sure your vehicle is done completely correct. So dont go in thinking its fast food and this is going to be done in a matter of a few minutes. I was having multiple issues with the electronics in my 68 Corvette Stingray and was referred by a friend to have 316 Customs (Jordan specifically) take a look at it. It wasn’t long before Jordan got back with what he found and purposed what he wanted to do to get it in the best possible condition for me. Through the process he kept me informed and updated with the progress he was making on the car, which I was always pleased about given the anxiety this car has caused me.The exciting day came where it was time for me to come pick up the car. Jordan met me like always with a big happy smile but this time he was really grinning ear to ear and I soon realized why. He installed a new stereo, my audio package I had purchased (amps, subs and speakers), installed LED lights on the inside of the car and fixed every single wiring issue that was causing a plethora of intermittent problems. He hooked everything up for me through Bluetooth on my phone, had me pick a song and cranked the volume up! I took my car in with work pre-done, just needed speaker wire harnesses wired to newly installed speaker. Took less than 30 minutes to complete. They didn’t even finish bolting the mounting bracket down I left loose in case they needed to remove the speaker, that I had to ask for my hardware back before leaving. I was charged a full hour labor, when it should have been no more than half that, no posted signs saying a minimum time is charged? Other’s who had came to pick up found work not even touched and wound up leaving and still waiting. I will never return!

Got a remote start here ab 6 months ago. the other morning my car wouldn’t start. took it in to get looked at, come to find out, they wired it completely wrong & it fried some of my wires. they refused to refund. cost me 300 to get it fixed. DO NOT GET A REMOTE START HERE!!!!

We used this company to put in a remote start on my car.. They rock! I was fairly confused on the timing of things and got a little freaked out thinking that i would have to go without a car for the following day.. While i know they heard the panic in my voice they have nothing but calm understanding and explained things to me. That alone would bring me back to add in their ability in getting it finished and taking the time to explain all things possible while sharing thief own life experience well that speaks for itself in the 5 star ratings

They fixed my radio and then it quit working. But it is an old radio. Getting new one. Very reasonable.

I had a problem with my RCA cables and they replaced them with no problem at all very perfect! I plan on installing my second amp and upgrading my subwoofers with some custom speakers that I have already installed they said no problem! They listen to my ideas and also my concerns and we’re very very easy to talk with.It didn’t take very long at all I was there at my appointment at 9 o’clock and I was leaving by 11 o’clock.Thanks 316 customers you guys rock!

I took my car in to have the stereo looked at because it was shutting off, they weren’t completely sure what was going on so instead of having me pay for a new sound system and hoping it works, they had me take it to Toyota to have them run a diagnostic on it so I wouldn’t waste any money. When I called back after Toyota, Gavin remembered my name and what kind of car I drive, and took the time to go through all of my options with me. They are asking for less than half of what Toyota was going to charge me to fix the problem.

I dropped off my van today (3/23/21) to get my DVD player installed. I supplied my own but they do have options if you need to purchase one first. Took my vehicle in for some custom installs on various pieces of equipment, including a power inverter, HAM radio, laptop desk mount, and an additional power outlet. After a consultation of sorts in the parking lot, I left the vehicle with them (I made the appointment late the previous week). The work took five hours in total (including a little beyond their closing time), but I came back to an absolutely magnificent job! These guys made all this gear look like it came stock with the car. The work was of amazing quality, looked so professional and clean, and they had the knowledge and creativity to address some installation concerns I had, going beyond what I was asking for to make the installations even better than I planned. The best part, the crew was nearly as excited as I was not only to work on the car, but with what they produced. I love how much pride they showed in their work, and of course it showed greatly in the finished product. A hands down no-brainer in terms of my glowing recommendation on their work. Will definitely return to them for future installs.

I Bought a part the guy was nice but 10 minutes later I ask two installers to open up my 0 gage terminal I just didn’t have my tools on me. The time they told me there backed up and just buy a new one !!! What a joke !!! Never go there again!!

After deciding that I wanted a remote starter in my car, I googled all of the places in Wichita that offered installation services. I quickly found 316 Custom, read every single one of their facebook reviews, noticed they were all positive for remote starters, and then decided to make an appointment. The appointment took almost 2 hours longer than they quoted me. That was a bit crazy. Fortunately, I had a dinner planned around that time to burn an hour. If i had not had this dinner planned, I would have been sitting and waiting for my car for 2 hours. I should honestly give a 2-3 star rating for a very bad time quote. However, I just had my remote starter installed today and I absolutely love it. I will come back and update this post periodically throughout the remainder of 2018. Especially to see how well this install lasts 1 year in. If the high quality installation holds, this post will change to a 5/5 star. To be continued...

So nobody diagnoses Home audio Speakers anymore. He was nice enough to hook up my high end JBL home theater sub woofer and find out whether it was the amp or the speaker. Lab result> bad preamp. Ok, sending amp to be rebuilt. Just want that baby back up. Thanks Jordan for helping. I really appreciate it, as no one else is smart enough to do this, or even cared. Ill let you know. Called 9/25 to get an estimate. They called to confirm part price and availability before quoting me $300 installed. When I show up to preorder part on 10/5, the price is now $459 installed, no way you talked to anyone here. (I verified in the call history of my phone that they were the only ones I talked to.) Wouldnt trust them.

The quality of the work was amazing, however not to good at picking up after them selfs or cleaning their mess up. I just got the car, haven’t even had it a month . Now there is dirty finger prints where they took the plastic to run the lines .

What my husband and I really appreciated is, we needed to drop the car off on a Sunday evening because of our schedules. Got a remote start installed. Got in quickly and they did great work. The system is good and works great. Only complaint is my rear hatch doesn’t work with the system even though I had asked before about it. When the work was done I was told that it was more money to have the rear hatch work with it. But not how much more and now it was too late because I was already there to pick it up.
