Mary, my sales person, was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful and picking out the right product. Installation went very smoothly and was very happy with the final product. I appreciated no pushy salespeople & was extremely happy overall!
Very professional, always helpful. And the instillation was excellent. Our floors are so beautiful. We couldn’t be happier with the service and the product. We will definitely go back to do more flooring.
The entire staff were knowledgeable, courteous, helping, and professional. I would recommend this company. Ill go there the next time my wife and I need new flooring. Thanks Mill Creek.
Great variety of finishes, but unprofessional service! My husband and I went on a Saturday and liked a hardwood floor for our house. They couldnt give us availability and price, so we were promised a phone call on Monday. We waited a week, nobody called. We called and asked again and waited one more week and still havent received a call. Very disappointed!
From start to finish, Mill Creek made our new carpet purchase easy. I worked with Mary Pat on selecting the right carpets for our home. She was very knowledgeable and guided me based on the texture and colors I liked as well as the budget I wanted to stay in. Selecting the right carpet for my stairway was key because of its unique shape and the other colors in the area. She took the extra time to speak with the installer about the carpets I liked before I made a decision. The carpets arrived within the timeframe Mill Creek indicated and the installers did a great job with the install. We are loving our new carpet and the difference they make in our home!
Craig was great to work with. Very simple to order and pick up flooring. Great selection.
This is the second time we have used Mill Creek for our flooring needs . Our salesman, Bill Benson was responsive and very courteous. Our installer, Joe Lewis, was exceptional and among the best service providers we have ever worked with. Very detail oriented and meticulous about getting the job done without flaws. Great service overall.
Randy from Mill Creek was great to deal with and made it very easy for us. The contractor he had do our flooring, David was very professional, efficient and kind. Not to mention his work was awesome! We’d highly recommend Mill Creek!
We purchaced some flooring for a small area in our home and we were treated with courtesy and respect. We will definitely go back again when we need more flooring.
Great prices and service
I had a Fabulous experience at Millcreek Flooring.... Mary Pat Ayres was my Sales Associate.... she was very knowledgeable about the product and went over and above to help me!! Would definitely shop there again!!
Very easy to install yourself and great quality. Will definitely be ordering again to floor the rest of my house.
Mill Creek was awesome to work with on our bathroom remodel. Id recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.
I have worked with Craig at Mill Creek for the flooring for my last 2 houses. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly patient as I changed my mind several times! I am completely satisfied with my flooring and will definitely return to Mill Creek for my future flooring needs!
Craig did a great job finding us exactly what we needed!
We received EXCELLENT service from Mill Creek. Craig and all of our flooring installers were efficient, personal, and hard-working. We had a wonderful experience. We will definitely use Mill Creek again and encourage others to as well.
Love my new floors!! We replaced flooring throughout the entire house. Laminate & carpet both! Great selection & easy to work with from beginning to end. Even though we had some issues with our older home (like our floor wasn’t level In places) the installers were able to solve the Problems & make it look great!
We purchased a large amount of carpet and LVP to finish our basement from Mill Creek, and to be honest, we are disappointed with the customer service we saw from them. Now, we knew things would be more slow with COVID and do not blame them for things taking long to arrive, ordering delays, etc. And I will say—our installer was very friendly and nice, and he’s done a nice job installing what has gone in so far. However, we had multiple occasions where something came up and the planned day of install had to be postponed, so instead of a four day job, it’s been a few weeks and we have had to push other jobs out because of so much stop & go getting it installed. We also had portions of the carpet pad sitting exposed for 3 days, because of a delay on the install side, that we had to try and cover up ourselves until someone could come back out. We understand life happens and things come up, but after a certain point there should be a Plan B to keep things on track. The overall disappointment was the communication—it was pretty bad. If we wanted to know the status of our order, we had to hunt them down and ask. When there was a delay on installation, we never heard from them. We rarely got information unless we were the ones calling to ask. We even had some flooring not get ordered in enough quantity and more had to be ordered, and we never once heard from the store rep, Bill, himself. He was very involved before we placed the order, but we are disappointed in the communication from the store and it made for some frustrating situations. It felt like once they got the sale they weren’t very concerned with how things were going on the install side. We heard more updates from the installer than the store itself, and they were surprised when we called them to say install was still delayed. We do love the carpet and flooring we found, although we did find the same pieces elsewhere when looking. For future jobs we will likely look elsewhere, to avoid the frustration.Edit to add: we have also run into a mishap with the carpet. A piece for the living room was cut a few feet too short so we now have an unplanned cross seam in the middle of our living room, right in front of a window. We have spoken with a manager in town and hopeful it will be resolved quickly.
The folks at Mill Creek Carpet & Tile were very helpful and patient with us as we selected new carpet and laminate for our new home in Wichita. Their installers did a great job, especially with the post install cleanup. We were very impressed.
Fair prices. Our sales person was helpful and knowledgeable and our installer was amazing as well. We are thrilled with our new floors.
Love this place. Randy and Valerie are amazing. Have been coming here for over 4 years. Great prices!! Thanks, The Johnson Family
Craig is amazing, he was super straight forward and down to earth from the start. Came out and took measurements and gave advice on what to do and what not to do. Texted, emailed or called after hours or when he was off to answer any questions. He will for sure be getting more of my business!!!!
Excellent experience working with Craig. Highly recommend giving Mill Creek a opportunity to help you with your flooring and tile needs. They offer many products to help you achieve your project dreams! Very friendly atmosphere. They are very educated on their products and offer suggestions which help you in making your selection. Give them a try!
Great people. Great service. Skilled installation. Disappointed in tile return policy. Order tile based on square footage per box information from salesperson. Had two extra boxes that could not be returned.
The installers arrived on time and finished in one day. They did a great job!
Very pleasant
Great place to do business. Quality products and services.
Found a good match to our hickory wood flooring here! Ordered it & it came in quickly. Very happy. Sales people were friendly & helpful. Lots to choose from in terms of carpet, tile etc. We have a daughter in a wheelchair. It is disappointing that this place is not handicap accessible.
Yes very satisfied with there service and there product tile and flooring very helpful on helping me choose something that will will last a long time and coordinating correct materials to have a Great finish house thank you
I was nervous about purchasing flooring for my house but Bill’s expertise of flooring made it so much easier. I couldn’t be happier with the way my floors look!
Brad Allen was very helpful and went above and beyond to help me with a very specific tile. I have worked with Brad for many years and would not recommend anyone more highly than him at Mill Creek; he is truly amazing!!
The people there care. And help me when I was feeling so overwhelmed .
Went in looking for carpet after my house flooded. Randy was there with knowledge and experience too help me choose the perfect carpet! They have a great selection and great customer service to guide you.
Cant seem to get the job complete. The person who put down the vinyl floors cut the carpet to short, so now we need different transition pieces from carpet to vinyl. Its been a month and still no solution. The people are always quite friendly on the phone but that really doesnt matter if we cant get a solution to the problem.
Very knowledgeable and helpful. The flooring we purchased, we are very happy with.
Great service. Showed me just what I needed and wanted.
Great experience. Friendly and knowledgeable.
TERRIBLE customer service. Once the sale is made if you want to hear from them you must contact them. Very poorly run business.
I purchased carpet 2 or 3 years ago from them and they had a company install it. I paid $5,000.00 for carpet for my home because I wanted good quality carpet and padding. I got the Shaw water proof carpet with the best padding they offered. The first year the carpet seemed fine and did well several months later I started noticing buckles and lumps all over the house. I called and she sent the installer back out whom told me the only way to fix it is to raise all my baseboards in the house so they could tuck the carpet underneath them. After he told me it would cost me another 400.00 I declined to have them do it and since then I see more and more lumps everywhere. I see amazing carpet jobs completed by other places for half the price and I just feel like spending that much money I should have a much better turn out without having to spend even more money to fix these issues and go through moving all my furniture again. I think if the baseboards needed to be raised it should have been included on the original quote and completed during the installation of this carpet to start with. I’m just frustrated everytime I walk through my house and see this carpet all buckled in places I think about all that money I spent and have nothing but regret at this point.
Pros:-Its a nice, clean store with an almost overwhelming selection of flooring and decent customer service (if they arent busy).-They have samples you can check out and take homeCon:-I dont like having to ask what the price is of each item Im interested in. Especially when the sales associate has to go look it up on the computer every time. It was almost like a car buying experience...but for buying flooring.-I think just about everything is special orderOverall, I wont go back unless they put prices on everything and make it easier on the buyer to browse. If the sales associate isnt right there to dote on you, youll just be standing around and wasting time trying to guess which items are in your budget.
We recently remodeled our basement. When we began the project our biggest fear was the process of working with vendors and selecting flooring, tile, countertops, etc. The industry tends to use the typical antiquated sale-sy and pushy methods and we dreaded the worst. But this experience turned out to be the best part of our remodel.Working with Craig at Mill Creek was an outstanding experience. First of all their selection is outrageous. So many things to choose from, and having looked at other tile places in town, was so much more reasonable with pricing. From beginning to end, Craig demonstrated two of the characteristics we were most hoping to find, and thats what made Mill Creek a standout for us. One is that he was transparent and honest. He never once tried to sell us on something just because hed make more money out of it. He listened to our needs, kept our budget very closely in mind, and educated us on the basics of tile and flooring to allow us to make the best educated choices. With any product he would be sure to tell us when an upgrade (say with the types of grout) was worth it, and when it might not be as worthwhile for us (knowing we were on a tight budget).A second quality that we greatly appreciated in Craig was his attentiveness and attention to detail. Our remodel took about 6 months, due partly in scope and partly to a switch in our contractor. Throughout the process he kept us fully informed on typical times for product shipment, would promptly call us when things were ready for pickup, and was extremely patient when wed tell him at the beginning wed changed our minds on the type of flooring, or later in the process when wed need him to hold certain materials a bit longer in storage. He also communicated excellently with our contractor and informed us of every communication he had, his recommendations to the contractor, etc. He provided valuable knowledge and wonderful customer service, and well be sure to come back to Mill Creek for any future remodeling needs.
Scott was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend looking him up if you go in. Lots to choose from.
My job was done poorly. My trim was thrown away and not reinstalled. A manager said he would replace and install my trim. But here i sit three months down the road and my job is still not done. I dont want to pay to have the whole job redone so just have to live with the sloppy cuts.
My wife and I recently decided we were going to carpet our living room downstairs, and the majority of our upstairs because we have a toddler that has been falling a lot around the house and our house is over 100 years old, completely hardwood floor, and that wood probably hadnt been finished in 50 years. Mill Creek was our first stop because we saw one of their ads and we wanted more information. Brad met us at the door. He was very friendly throughout our entire experience. He showed us the carpet from the ad and some optional colors as well. We chose a color and i didnt realize it, but the color I chose was slightly more expensive than the ad and i believe her mentioned it, but I dont remember. We were on a budget but one thing Brad told us is to get a decent pad, that way it both prolongs the life of your carpet, and will be softer for the little one (toddler). After getting our quote we went to Lowes and Home Depot. Home depot quoted us the best price by quite a bit but we didnt want to make an immediate decision so we left. After talking with my wife we decided we liked Brad, as well as their carpet, so we wanted to give him an opportunity. I called him the following Monday and informed him of the quote from home depot tough I told him 2 things... 1. The sq ft HD used was about 250 less than what Brad quoted me (HD) wouldnt let me give them a sq ft and had me give them dimensions of the rooms, which I didnt have with me, just a total sq ft estimate) and 2. They quoted me the cheaper pad. Brad did what he could and came within about 150 bucks of their quote. I decided to go with Brad and their carpet because we liked their carpet better and Brad was very resourceful, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire experience. He came and measured and then I noticed on mutt quote that the carpet was more expensive than the ad. He explained that the ad is only good up to a specific sq ft and we exceeded that so it goes back to original cost (fine print of course, but I did car sales for 6 years so I get it). He told me that they had the first color they showed me in stock at the store and wouldnt have to ship it, which would allow them to sell it to me at the advertised price for the whole house. He showed us the color again and we decided we like it so we scheduled an installation. Needless to say, in less than a week our carpet was installed, and done so very well by the people they hired to do it and we live 2 hours away. They had it done in a day. I will recommend and go back to Mill Creek anytime I need flooring and i hope that when I do Brad will still be there, which Im sure he will. Hes been there for a long time already.
Knowledgeable and friendly people! Great product line!
Scott was fantastic! He helped me locate a special order tile that no one else could find for me! Wonderful customer service, will do business with again!
Update- I am changing my experience from 1 to 5 stars. Even though it took several months Millcreek made good on their promise to make it right. A total redo of my floors. I highly recommend the flooring installers they sent. They were professional, courteous and did a perfect job replacing my floors. Thank you Joe F. and crew. Also thank you to the salesman Brad for seeing this through. I’m so happy with this final outcome.I was very impressed with the selection and sales help from Brad. The issues began with the installation of my new vinyl plank floors. There was a crew of 4 guys that turned up at least and hour to two hours late each of the 4 days. At first I thought it looked fine. My contractor who was doing my remodel stopped by about 3 weeks later to finish the trim. He pointed out many mistakes. Boards were not clicked in all the way showing gaps and a broken and cracked board was used and left in the kitchen and a bedroom. There were gaps some almost an 1/2 in several of my closets at the door frame. Also do did my stairs and it looks bad around the spindles. He also said I needed some special trim for my entry doors. I contacted Brad and he said they would make it good.Brad offered to come see it but never came. So TWO months later that same crew showed up two hours late. Then proceeded to use caulk and wood stain to “fix” their mistakes. This caulk and wood stain was put on my vinyl floors. Then it was tracked all over my new floors. I contacted Brad again and told him that I did not want this crew to ever come back. There was no offer from him to send another crew to make it right. New boards should of replaced those gaps in my doorways and no way should wood stain be used on vinyl floors. Also the trim evidently was not ordered. So the past month I’ve been on my hands and knees with a magic eraser cleaning my floors. I’m not even half done with the clean up. Now I’ll have to pay my contractor to fix their mistakes. In the meantime Millcreek of course wants their payment in full. I spent a lot of money for these floors and expected them to be done right. I really regret purchasing my floors at Millcreek. It’s a great place to see a big selection with knowledgeable staff to answer questions but stay away from who they contract with to install flooring. Get your own contractor or purchase elsewhere. It’s been a nightmare.
When we went into the store we were happy with the knowledge and friendliness of the salesman. after Ordering $16,000.00 of Onyx showers and sinks (2 bathrooms) the instillation was far from smooth and we were left with unfixable mistakes and less than meticulous work. The contractor asked if we were okay with him working till late in the evening since we live an hour from the store, but in spite of us saying yes, we were lucky if he worked 4 hours a day. The Shower bar is uneven, Onyx walls to the showers not matching up due to being cut in half and placed in the wrong bathroom. (Was told they are already glued in so they can’t fix it) new Sheetrock was not sanded smooth or painted, the backsplash to the sink was twice the height I said I wanted, wood replaced around the sink left bare and unstained. (we were told they didn’t have stain to match my cabinets) to cover a hole left by the old sink which had a backsplash, they took leftover trim from the shower and glued it to the 3-4” hole so there was a random 3-4” piece of onyx just stuck in the corner of my sheetrocked wall. I told them this will not work, it lookes Patched and was told, “well, it is patched” i said I did not pay this much for a patch job. I can go on and on with the issues we had, and have pictures to back up every statement I’ve made. I did contact the manager and sent pictures of the work and after admitting to me that we had some “issues” he then offered me......get this.....a $200 discount on my $16,000.00 purchase and expected that to make it right. Not even a 1.5% discount, and would not send someone else out to fix the carelessly made mistakes. Buyer beware! I would not recommend this store to anyone with the shoty quality of work we received and a manager who will not make things right or hold contractors accountable to do the job right!
Great sales staff and very helpful.
Helpful and received product when scheduled
Courteous salespeople and Warehouse help
I have never been here.
