Ours wasnt the biggest job they had but that didnt stop them from giving us great service from start to finish. We replaced countertops with quartz and put in a new backsplash. Love them. Have had lots of compliments on them.

Kitchen Tune-up did a great job with my bathroom remodel. Although I had a pretty modest budget, they helped me select items that worked within my budget, and never pressured me to spend more than I was comfortable. I will definitely use them for my next project!

Asked for a quote for new quartz counter tops, a gas cooktop, farm sink, new backsplash and an Island modification. Kari came out and never said that what I was asking for was a big deal. Kari provided a very nebulous quote that was twice as much as I had budgeted and didnt include a range hood, a cook top, a sink or plumbing and all the other costs were very well not sure. I gave her specific details about the colors I wanted. When she came out she never said that wouldnt work, but wen we went to the showroom, she didnt have any of my colors. Told me it was impossible to put in an apron sink when I had already done the measurements. I m fairly sure she doesnt remember coming to my house. She was suggesting a shaker gray cabinet door in my kitchen where I wasnt replacing the knotty alder wood. Asked her why I really did not have a quote and she said, we dont get that detailed until you sign a contract. Really? WHO signs a contract without knowing the price? If I could give a negative star, it would be a negative 5. Worst experience. If you have plenty of money to burn for a gheez not sure what I am getting, this is your contractor.

After seeing the amazing job they did on a friend’s house, we went to Kitchen Tune Up for our kitchen remodel. Rachel helped us with the design and picking out all of our appliances, countertop, backsplash and cabinets. We had a set budget we didn’t want to go over but also a HUGE project. They did a great job of finding places to cut back on so we could splurge on other areas. We also got discounts at different vendors and they got us a great deal on our countertop!We started our project right when everything shut down for COVID so we actually picked our cabinets over FaceTime (we trusted Rachel’s opinion that much)! She listened to why we were doing the remodel, and wasn’t afraid to voice her opinion when she thought a choice might not work for our long term goals (she thinks of everything). Without her, we would have been lost and definitely would have made some decisions we would have regretted!We had a few hiccups with other vendors and Rachel was right there to go to bat for us! We’ve recommended them to everyone and can’t give enough praise to their dedication!

When we started discussing a kitchen remodel, I didnt know if we wanted new cabinets, to reface our existing cabinets, or to gut the whole thing and start from scratch. I just knew I wanted a more functional kitchen (and a prettier one). A friend recommended Kitchen Tune-Up and off we went.From our first meeting with Rachel, I knew this was the right company for us. Rachel then came to our home and had a beautiful vision for our space that I could never have seen in my head. In addition, she took the overwhelming process of making design choices manageable for me by walking us through the selection process for finishes in the right order. This just ensured that in the end, everything looked as it should.Specifics of our project:*Our kitchen and living room area were already pretty open, but we did not want to replace flooring in both spaces. She helped us figure out a way to divide the kitchen from the living room and still have an intentional design look.*We did not want to repaint that whole open space. We wanted to modernize the kitchen with colors and textures without the project snowballing and overtaking the rest of our living room area.*Our kitchen was pretty small and storage was a huge concern. She suggested a built in cabinet in our living room that increased our storage and made use of completely unused space. I met with 2 other companies and designers before meeting with Rachel at Kitchen Tune Up. The other two companies said they could do everything I wanted but offered no ideas or their own opinions on my plan. Rachel understood everything I wanted and pointed out why she thought my plan would not make me happy in the end. Thats exactly what I hired her to do. She spent multiple hours with me thinking through every aspect of how my kitchen would function for me. We mapped it on the floor and went through more than one rendering. And ultimately we ended up with the perfect kitchen completely different than my original idea. I would have been so disappointed to have gotten anything less than what I ended up with . I have continued to use Rachel and kitchen tune up for a commercial project I am doing. I have an incredible resource in the Kitchen Tune Up and am so happy I decided to go with them!! We had our kitchen remodeled through kitchen- Tune Up. New cabinets, backsplash, and countertops. Rachel and Adam were great to work with through the whole process. Even once the remodel was done Rachel gave us advice on how to coordinate the kitchen with the rest of the home and offered suggestions. Very friendly and personable. They understood our budget and didn’t try to force extras that were unnecessary for us.The shopping process with Rachel was very informative and a great experience. It was amazing watching her take the color and style of cabinets to blend the style and patterns we like to come together to look perfect. My husband and I have been looking into redoing our kitchen...from countertops to cabinets and possibly the floors. What I have noticed is that everyone we have spoken to has been very positive, regardless it is their product or a competitors product, but when we went to Kitchen Tune-up we spoke to a woman (I will leave her name off of here) when we asked about some of the other products we were thinking about she was very quick to bash and trash talk not only the businesses but the others products. I find this to be so distasteful and unprofessional, as an owner or manager I would not allow someone to speak this way because all it does it make YOUR business look bad as though you cant stand on your own merits. Because of her, we will not be doing business with this company. My suggestion would be to represent your product and if you cant say something nice about others then just dont say anything because it really turned us off of your company.

My wife and I chose Kitchen Tuneups in Bel Aire, KS to re-do our kitchen and are so glad we did. Rachel met us on a Saturday twice. She explained how the project works. She was up front about the scheduling being two-months out, but to us that was a good sign. She asked us lots of questions and helped us narrow some choices.They always showed up on time. It isnt a one-stop big box store. With Rachel and Kitchen Tuneups, we got someone who was with us the entire time. She gave us options of places to select our granite and then met us there again on a Saturday and helped us decide knowing what we wanted. Then she worked with my wife for as long as she needed selecting the back splash, etc. She chose colors we never would have thought of had we done it on our own and we LOVE IT.They scheduled everything. The only thing they didnt is when I thought Id use my own plumber. Guess what, he was the only one I had to call back.We would use them again and suggest them to friends. Re-doing a kitchen is not an overnight process. It can be stressful and Rachel answered our questions and lined everything up for us.

I had seen Kitchen Tune-Ups before and after pictures in their advertising over the years and knew I would call them when the time came. We immediately felt comfortable with owners Adam and Rachel and Arlene. They all had great ideas and suggestions that we would not have thought of ourselves. Their design room was inspiring and helped give us a starting point as to what we could do in our space. Rachel is a talented designer and was especially instrumental in helping with colors and material choices. Adam laid out the scheduling, and it all worked like clockwork. Their crew, Austin and Charlotte did an excellent job with the installation, etc. They also set us up with Andy of Strategic Remodeling to re-do our walls, ceiling, electrical, plumbing, tile, etc. and Keystone Solid Surfaces for the quartz countertops. All were great to work with.They were very responsive and accommodating when issues arose and wanted us to be totally satisfied with the final outcome, and we are. Our new kitchen has exceeded our expectations. The entire job came in on our budget and within the timeframe expected. We plan on updating a few more areas in the future and will call on them again. Would we recommend Kitchen Tune-Up for your remodeling projects? Absolutely!

This is a family owned and run business, but beware you wont be treated like their family. If you choose them make sure to read whole review so you are fully aware of what to expect. The first time I walked into the office, Rachel tried to get me to not go with their company. From telling me they were 8 weeks booked out then showing me one cabniet and giving me a ballpark figure that was incorrect. I was determine to go with them because of the urgent need to get my home on the market. When I called later (after calling several times, they are hardly ever in the office) Adam was helpful and able to get me a bid, I ordered a lesser cabniet for more than Rachel quoted me but nevertheless I was happy to have my cabinets refaced and in two and half weeks. Austin who came out to measure my cabinets was wonderful to work with. Arlene who called to confirm installation was very sweet. Beware Jim the original owner and Adams father is not the installer you want. First hes socially strange, doesnt like talking to women, over talks other people and very difficult to tell him when your dissatisfied. He was more than 1/2inch off on lining up cabinets handles and some cabinets, when I told him they were uneven, he said its cause my house has settled and cabinets are uneven. When my husband told him he was unhappy with the placement of the handles and some cabinets he fixed them. They wanted to very much remind me they did me a favor getting my job squeeze in the entire job felt like a favor I paid $5600 for. I called several times to ask if cabinets should be cleared out they said no just breakables and the dust would be very minimal. This is not true all cabinets needed to be vacuumed out and dishes washed. Sink and facuet were covered in dust. Bottoms of cabniets do not have smooth look, looks horrible up close. See pictures off applicable. Jim chose to cut in my garage next to my husband truck which is now covered in saw dust, he left pieces of trim in garage and on back patio along with piles of saw dust for my other contractors to track in and out. He was very rushed and just wanted done with my job and out. I was told my kitchen was a 3 day job that took 5 days and while the cabinets look good, Im overall dissapointed in this company and their service. Beware.
