Wanted to leave this review after a visit I had with my friends earlier today. On a Sunday morning, the place was crowded, with a line out the door. We were a little unsure about whether or not to get in line as we knew it would be a long wait, but were glad we did.First, let me just say that the staff who work the registers on the weekend are a godsend. The line moved quickly and efficiently despite how busy they were, and the girl who took my friend and Is orders deserves an extra kudos as she was willing to answer our questions and even make suggestions despite the fact that it was so busy. I only wish I got her name to give her a shout out because her customer service was truly top notch.We ordered apple ciders, which were given to us within 2 minutes of placing our order despite how busy they were. And the apple cider alone was worth the wait, but the breakfast sandwich was one of the best Ive ever had. I got the spicy, which was every bit as good as the girl at the register suggested it would be. I even had to get back in line to pick up a blueberry coffee cake to take home with me, and thats already received words of praise from everyone in my house.Ill definitely be back, this place deserves all the praise it gets - from the gracious, kind staff to the delicious food and even more delicious apple cider.

Pay higher wages so you can get someone other than under-staffed teenagers in your kitchen. I just waited 45 minutes for a bagel sandwich that ended up being made wrong. Phone ringing off the hook, no way to correct mistake.Very disappointed in the management of this restaurant. I have worked in the industry and this level of poor service is just inexcusable. Do better.Owner response is that there will “always be a delay” and simultaneously says he can’t find workers to work their odd shifts. If you pay higher wages, people will work your shifts. You will be fully staffed instead of boasting a “hiring” sign in your window while you misquote wait times, forcing people to wait twice as long as your staff even reports.Stop with the excuses.Do Better.

Our family has consistently gone to Rice Fruit Farm and has consistently received bad service. The place is over run with teenage workers that have absolutely NO customer service skills. They very frequently get our orders wrong. Today, however, was the worst and has finally prompted me to leave this review. It is National Cone Day so as a treat, we decided to go after school. We arrived and there was no line whatsoever. We waited in front of the window and were seen by the two teenage girls in the ice cream store. They did not acknowledge us or bother to tell us, Well be with you in just a minute. As we wait for the girl to finish waiting on the customer inside, we notice another woman enter the building and go behind the woman currently being served. The girl finished the order and then went on to serve the new customer...I had to speak up and say, Excuse me, we were here first. She debated a moment and then took our order. She did not say hello or apologize for overlooking us. Meanwhile, a line is forming and this one girl is working. The other teenage girl is laughing and talking to either another employee or a friend. The woman waiting left because it was taking too long. There were many other teenage workers working, but they were talking and filling up something with pumpkin. They should have STOPPED and waited on the customers. Completely disrespectful and rude. I went to speak to the manager but was informed that no one was there. Again, a teenager behind the counter with two additional young men goofing off by the grill...while...again...a line was forming behind me.Rice Farm you need to train your employees to do multiple jobs and make sure they pitch in when needed. Also, where is a supervisor? Teenagers should not be left alone without supervision or guidance.Our family will NOT be back and will be sure to spread the word.

A friend recommended this place because apparently it was “super good” and he absolutely wasn’t wrong. I ordered a breakfast sandwich which was too delicious to the point where I made my husband go in there and bring me a milkshake and a few cookies. Those were also great! I would of ordered more foods to try but we had to leave. Good thing we live 10 minutes from it bc we’ll be coming here a lot!

OMG THE FOOD- ITS SO GOOD, the ice cream is the best. They have many options of ice cream, and inside there are many many different snacks to choose from. There are 2 sitting areas, 1 inside and 1 outside. Great place to go to.

Good ice cream. Nice setup! Just seemed employees could care less about working. There are enough employees, just half of them are hanging, chatting, and dancing around. Took 20+ minutes to get ice cream when there was just 3 people in front of us....

Wow. Super delicious breakfast spot!!! I get the Spicy on a croissant. I add tomatoes and avocado. It is seriously amazing. I go every Saturday and Sunday morning now. They have a huge variety of awesome bagels...i had the hot & spicy and the french toast before. Both were delish! I also bought two of their homemade pies...strawberry rhubarb and also their Fruit of the Forest pie! Both were outstanding!!! Definitely go!

If I’m being honest I’d give 3.5 stars but I’ll just give 4. It’s a nice place to go around here considering what else is around. But, it is a little overrated for what it is. The food is good but it’s nothing to geek over. I also must say the wait times are absolutely ridiculous. They seem to be understaffed or they’re just putting every single mobile order in front of every current order. I sat for over 25 minutes waiting for my order. I watched two separate groups sit down, eat, and leave before I even got called, at two different times.I feel like mobile orders are another issue here. It’s not a Starbucks that can keep up with demand.

Fruit Farm on a Whole New Level.Very popular go to spot for the locals. Some very cool stuff for sale for all likes. Tight parking.

Great place to grab a breakfast sandwich. On a bagel, ciabatta roll or croissant. Everything is made to order. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Ice cream is made on site and available year round. Free Wifi throughout the premises. Parking is rough whenever its busy though. Definitely worth checking out!

Very nice place for ice cream & homemade baked goods! Ice cream was very good with the exception of too many chunks in my black raspberry chocolate chip, or maybe it was called black raspberry chocolate chunk, but either way it was LOADED with chunks, which really took away from the black raspberry flavor. If they had maybe half the amount of chunks, it wouldve been much better. Inside they have lots of candy, including old fashioned types. They also serve bakery items, such as muffins. Only other complaint aside from the chunk overload in my ice cream, was the amount of bees outside of this place. I know its expected because of the flowers, but I am allergic, as many other people are as well, so maybe a spray or some type of solution to decrease the amount of bees near customers? Otherwise a very nice place. Only have been once. Public restrooms are very clean & have baby changing stations. Will definitely return!

Used to love it here but the last 3 times Ive gone my order has been wrong - shame on me for giving them three chances. to pay $8.00 for a breakfast sandwich just to get home and realize that was made wrong is frustrating.Wish they would invest a little time in keeping the place cleaner. flies buzzing around the tables inside, broken picnic tables and an abandoned boat just sitting near the outside open play area. Makes this place less kid/family friendly than i would expect.

I went out with my friend to rice fruit farm in Wilbraham mass I was very impressed with how the employees keep the store clean and they had a variety of baked goods, sandwiches and beverages and I would go back there again and I would recommend rice fruit farm to everyone to go to for good service.

Would get 5 stars if they made my order right, the last 3 times I came here my order was not correct. I understand a toasted bagel with cream cheese isnt a big order, but it is my breakfast that I pay for and now I have throw away food and money. Maybe its the noise, masks or the Plexi and the cashier cant hear. Although Im out ten dollars in bagels and another seven dollars in tips I will keep trying cause I like to support local business and really like the food when done right.July 29,2020 a week after I made this comment, I stopped in for my lunch break, requested same thing, girl repeated my order twice and to my surprise, NOT TOASTED AGAIN, sorry I tried, I can not come in or suggest any of my friends family or followers anymore

The best Maple Walnut ice cream I’ve had in a longtime! The small size waffle cone is really a large in my book . Social distancing was great live music and fire pit bonus!!

Food and coffee is great, I get why they are so packed but they should stop taking orders if its going to take 30 minutes to get a breakfast sandwich made. Either that or tell people how long its going to take so they can chose to stay or go.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL orchard!! Great ice cream and wagon ride up is fun too! And all at $22 for a 1/2 bushel. But before you go packing the kids in the car in hopes of going apple picking be aware its only on Saturday and Sunday.

A rustic and cozy spot to grab delicious ice cream, coffee, and pies! Maple walnut ice cream was so delicious, and we enjoyed hanging out with family by the fire. A must visit spot in Wilbraham.

Great breakfast sandwiches. BUT staff please please wear gloves ! Every time I go it’s a 50/50 chance gloves are on making sandwiches! I had to ask today for gloves to be on after I saw the food preppier on the phone and proceeded to make my sandwich without gloves. Phones are dirty and it’s flu season!

Looked like a cool place to get ice cream with the family until you get to the ice cream parlor where the depressing person working at the speed of stop behind the counter took 10 actual minutes to make someone a milkshake 2 groups in front of ours... with a group of 7 and not having an entire day to dedicate to watching this girl work in reverse, we moved on to somewhere else....maybe work on your scheduling on a holiday weekend in the fall..

Very quality service and excellent food. Been multiple times and the experience has always been very good. They have a lot of bakery items, fruits, delicious home made ice creams, maple products, all types of sodas and juices. Great place to have a coffee with friends

This is quite possibly the best breakfast place is western mass. The prices are extremely fair, and is a great place to pick up a delicious breakfast sandwich!

Ok first I will start I really love going there love the breakfast sandwich and muffin tops. But I have a problem my husband and and son and myself go into the store with our mask on one of the girls tells us to distance ourselves ok so we do even though we are together. As we are waiting for our food at least a dozen people come in without masks and are all clustered together apparently that was okay nothing said to them?! Really! Ummm last time I heard Mask are to be worn in any store oh and social distance that goes for EVERYONE! Dont pick and choose rules goes for everyone.

We very much enjoy the atmosphere and customer service of Rice Fruit Farm. The food is delicious and we appreciate that they offer organic coffee. The only reason I decided to give 4 stars instead of 5 is the excessive waste. There is no way to recycle any of the leftover waste, be it bags or plastic cups. At the very least it would be good for those who eat in to be able to use a reusable basket.

First I called up to get some information on if they sell food for lunch. The lady on the phone was very helpful and there was no sort of irritation in her voice though I had a couple of questions. I placed the order over the phone got there in 10mins and my food was ready and hot. The customer service was great. The food tasted nice; there was a lot of flavour.(Review from 2016)

Rices is back and is better than ever. In addition to the baked goods, coffee and local produce that the old Rices had, there is home made ice cream that is amazing! The inside has been completely remodeled and is beautiful but still has the charm of the old barn. Highly recommend.

Two words: muffin tops. They are incredible. Sour cream is a critical ingredient in them, which keeps the entire muffin moist and smooth. The hot beverages and breakfast sandwiches are also great.

Used to be one of my favorites before the service went down. Every time I ask for a bagel toasted with cream cheese, it doesnt get toasted, ever. If I ask for a bagel toasted well, it gets so toasted to the point where its almost inedible. At this point Ive just been buying my bagels untoasted from them and doing it myself at home. Sorry Rices.
