I moved to the Wilkes-Barre area from Philly and needed a new shop to service my bike so I stopped in.Rich was very helpful and able to install a new kickstand on a bike that couldnt have one when it was originally built out!Im so grateful because Ive been riding my mountain bike for years without one and its so much better!Highly recommended shop!!

I had my first experience with Around Town Bicycles today when I decided I didnt want to spend my day off repairing my Sondors fat tire bike. When I went in, I noticed they had snacks for their customers: cookies, juice, strawberries (a refreshing nice touch of customer appreciation). Rich and Andrew were helpful, prompt, and provided a fair price to fix my bike. In about 20 minutes, my bike was back to its former glory. I understand why they were rated so highly on here and can say with confidence that I will go back the next time my bike has issues.

What a great shop !!! Got my grandson’s bike fixed in no time at all. Rick was great. Thanks for the smile on his face when the bike was ready to go. Rick is his new best friend. Such a nice man . Thanks again.

Dont know what around town bicycles I must have been that. 1 bike tube and 2 tires switched... $75. He likes say more? Okay. I will. 1. Despite always asking them to call me when bike is ready, they never did.2. Numerous times they have added things to my bike without calling me and asking first. Example: installing handle grips when I already had a brand-new pair at home.3. They are more expensive than two other bike shops I have taking care of my bike serviced. Far more expensive.4. Was almost denied to have my bike serviced just because I did not purchase it at their shop. Not for me disputing is this matter I probably would not have had my bike fixed. They would have denied me.5. They will take it upon themselves to do more service than what bike was originally intended for. Never called to ask for my approval. I never think of perhaps people dont have did not have money necessary to get their bike out that once they do more than expected. Things that were not an emergency at the time either. This place will never get my business nor the business of a few of my friends ever again. I went back to them a few times too many. This was only due to the fact that they are so close to where I reside. I will not consider convenience ever again as being an option to go there. Comments are given of how good her service is. Thats what people pay money for. If shops didnt do service they wouldnt be in business. Nothing so special about that. Its their duty to do the job correctly

I like this place a lot. They give great advice on bikes and how to maintain them. Also have a workshop you can view. Nice, local hole in the wall shop I plan to go back to.

I go in to sell a bike, one of the workers checks it and says he doesn’t know how much they would buy it for. The older one takes not even a glimpse at it and says “We’re not buying Walmart bikes” and it wasn’t even purchased from Walmart. Very rude and don’t even understand how they’re in business

I visited them for my poor old hard-working bike. My bike is now back to the best condition ever. They care about you and your bike. This is the place for bike lovers.

I had the privilege of meeting Rich Adams today. Rich is the owner of Around Town Bicycles (a/k/a ATB). No matter what level you are at youll walk away after speaking with Rick on another level and mindset. ATB is invested in the Specialized Brand, they offer repairs and tune ups and have lots of accessories for sale. Despite the difficulty in finding their location they deserve a 5 star review. If the place was easy to find then it probably wouldnt have been worth the hunt.

Rich is always helpful and they have the best stuff in the area for your cycling needs. I recommend checking them out!

Amazing customer service. Rich is very knowledgeable, explains features of different bikes in detail so you can make an educated decision on the best bike for your needs. Assistance with selection and installation of accessories made my purchase hassle free. In the last two years Ive purchased a hybrid and an e bike, wouldnt think of going anywhere else. There are bike shops closer to my home in Clarks Summit and I happily make the drive to Wilkes Barre because no one has service like ATB. Highly recommend!

When I lived in the Wilkes Barre area this was the one bike shop I could always go to and get good advice, no matter what style of riding I was doing!!!
