We board our conure there. Joy is knowledgeable and caring. Our bird never shows signs of stress even when we are gone 2 weeks. Highly recommended.

This place is bird heaven! Staff is absolutely amazing and wonderful, ultra friendly, knowledgeable, and supremely helpful! Their birds are the healthiest and sweetest youll find anywhere! The products they carry are the best caliber at the best prices, and their wide selection of toys are safe for your birds! If you need anything bird-related, this is your one-stop shop! They even have layaway plans and boarding for your birds! I cant rate this place and their wonderful staff enough!

This establishment is amazing! The owner Joy is an incredible woman who wants to help any and everybody. Her best interest is for the birds. If she doesn’t think that someone is particularly ready for a bird she will not sell a baby bird to them. She’s definitely not in it for the money, this is her passion. What an adventure! This small house turned bird store is full of birds, food and accessories. It is such a treat to visit!Joy the owner is kind, helpful and LOVES these birds. From the couple of times Ive talked with her, I adore her as a person and respect her as a Birder.The society finch I purchased from her was (at regular price) a killer deal! He was healthier and friendlier than any other finch I have purchased from any other store. To say the least, I will purchase from her again (and again).I was also impressed by the selection/variety of birds at The Feathered Nest. My eyes actually filled with tears of happiness meeting in real life birds that Ive only ever seen online previously (specifically Owl and Lady Gouldin finches). And again, they were listed far below prices I have ever before seen!I truly look forward to my next visit.

As an avid estate saler I shocked at the most unfriendly and unwelcoming experience if visiting the chrysler house sale. Upon arrival I was warned of cameras in place (reminded they were actually working) and then told there was no help in bringing items to my car (I was carrying my baby daughter). I decided to move on, even though this sale was right in my neighborhood. If youre looking for alternative check out Ghent Antiques - they are always warm, welcoming, and just simply fabulous.

Aviary with small amount of birds. The lady running the place was very sweet and helpful with my questions. A good amount of toys and supplies for my parrot. Ive never boarded my parrot there but I would be comfortable doing so.

I love this place. Its always so positive and such a happy enviorment to visit. The birds are well taken care of, and of course the staff are so honest and elegant, and simply want the best for their customer. When I got my bird, a gorgeous cockatiel (Pepper) he was in the finest condition, and when I brought him home, a fun and easy-going bird to live and enjoy life with. Truly love everyone there, including the birds :)

My family and I placed a deposit on a baby blue and gold macaw. After 2 months of talking to the owner, Joy, and 4 weeks of visiting our baby Kiwi, she pulled out of our purchase and sold our baby to another person. I understand her thinking as we have kids but, this should have done from the beginning and not after a month of getting attached to the newest member of our family. Not the mention the fact that we had already purchased a 500 dollar cage and over 100 dollars in toys for our baby bird. She did return our 409 dollar deposit but, left a hole in the hearts of nearly every member of our family by this belated choice. I truly believe that she wasnt thinking in the best interest in Kiwi and was thinking about the money until another buyer came along. The reason I think this is because she has yet to post that OUR baby is available. She should be ashamed of her business practices and I personally will never set foot in her establishment again. Neither to board knowing that her own birds are not tame nor to purchase her products that have been increased to the point of being overpriced. Do not do business with this establishment!

I buy food and toys for my parrot here regularly. I love seeing all of the birds out and about and the people are so friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable and the food they sell is the good stuff that isnt always sold in big chain pet stores. I definitely recommend them to any bird owner.

Love it! Cindy and Joy really love these birds. You can tell the birds thrive under their care.They do boarding, some breeding, some fostering and help birdies find new homes.They have toys, food, natural supliments, and a lot of knowledge.Of course Im a bit biased, as they brought my eclectus and me together.I went in asking about a grey, and ended up with a great bird that needed someone to love him.
