My experiences have been a mixed bag. Lets get into it. Ive been there at least 4 times for piercings and piercing aftercare check ups. At least 3 visits included the receptionist being disruptive with Miss. Ruths process. Interrupting the set up to talk, most of which has nothing to do with the shops workings, ultimately taking Miss. Ruths attention away from the person shes supposed to be helping and piercing. (Disclaimer: never was I interrupted with the needle in me) just made the process usually twice as long. Miss. Ruth is compassionate and wonderful. Other situations I would call to purchase more aftercare supplies or ask questions but no one picked up the phone. Which, respectfully, if its expected to be a slower day there may only be just a tattoo artist covering the shop who may be with a client. I get it. But, wow is it an inconvenience just today, May 12, 2021, I called 4 times over the span of 20 minutes to ask if they had more aftercare products. Finally picked up on the 4th and confirmed they do. I said I would come over to get some. I get there 10 minutes later, call to be let in, and no one is picking up again. I think the artists are 👌 but its difficult to actually reach them without complications somewhere in the process of getting work done.

Worked with Levi to get an American flag tattoo on my right arm it looks amazing and am completely satisfied with the work and pricing overall wonderful experience even though I was afraid of the needles before the tattoo. You barely even feel the needles!! My next tattoo will definitely be from Totem!

Ive been using totem tattoo for years for tattoos and piercings. I havent personally had Levi as a tattoo artist, but I plan on it. They all put out really good work.

Levi was amazing. I asked for a specific piece, he hit it right on the head. He is very light with his hand, likes to make small talk to keep it entertaining, always repeats the tattoo spelling to make sure no mistakes are being made. I will definitely recommend Totem to anyone and i will definitely be a return customer. Ohhh and the price for my artwork was a perfect price for what i got too... definitely a happy customer.

Aaron should be known nationally for his work. I trust him to the point of giving him an idea for both of childrens names to complete an upper back piece. My expectations are higher every time I go in and he still blows me away. He also turned an absolute eyesore of a tattoo (it was originally free in a trailer park) into an absolute masterpiece. The atmosphere of the shop is beyond friendly, courteous, helpful and safe. I would send my children here (when theyre old enough, of course), loved ones or anyone that wants a one of a kind treasure to smile at for the rest of their lives.

Super awesome experience getting my nose pierced. Miss Ruth did an awesome job of making me feel comfortable and talking me through the process. She was super sterile and procedural, and did the piercing quickly and with little discomfort. She was diligent about instructing me on aftercare. The piercing is so far the easiest to care for and least painful that I’ve ever had. I JUST got it and forget it’s there. The jewelry is also really high quality - it was a high quality experience from start to finish!!! Couldn’t recommend her more!!!

I went there with my daughter she got her nose pierced. They were recommended by Claires Boutique to us. I can see why. The staff from the receptionist to the artist are incredibly friendly and professional! They really love what they do and it shows. The lady who pierced her nose explained everything she was doing in depth and made her feel at ease and she did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

This place has the greatest people. I cant imagine going anywhere else from here out. I had one ear close up and everywhere I went in NY wouldnt re-pierce just one ear. Ruth didnt even hesitate to help me and has me hooked on jewelry that you just leave in. I would drive from another state to go there if I needed something.

Aaron did a really good job with a tattoo of a bird on my arm! It has healed nicely and he was kind and constantly asked if I was okay! Everyone there is very nice and if youre considering going for a tattoo I would definitely request Aaron!

I love Totem! The place is so lively and inviting. The waiting area has fun books and little games to keep you occupied. Everyone is so sweet and wants to ensure youve had a good experience and are satisfied with the result of your tattoo/peircings. I could not reccomend them enough for your first piece or your hundredth.

Definitely the best tattoo parlor in town. I have spent about 8 hours in Aarons chair so far, and hes been an absolute pleasure to work with. His linework is gorgeous and I dont think you could find a better artist (especially if youre looking for a black and grey tattoo). Levi and Miss Ruth (the piercer) seem great too, and the front desk staff are always friendly and polite.If youre going, you should know that Saturday is the walk-in day, and that appointment bookings start on the first day of the month for the next month and fill quickly (so get in there March 1 if you want a tattoo in April). You should also know that Totem has an incredibly supportive and inclusive atmosphere, and they wont tolerate bigotry or sexist behavior - its part of why Im so comfortable going there to get work done!

Totem is the only piercing shop I trust. Miss Ruth is amazing!! Aaron and Levi both do amazing work as well, and I have never been unhappy with the experiences Ive had there. Its very relaxing and welcoming, and everyone knows their stuff!

Totem is obviously the go-to place if youre looking to get tattoos worthy of showing off. If youre looking for $100 back pieces, keep it moving. I have a few tattoos that Ive gotten at Totem including my hands, a throat cover up and the left side of my head ( AJ at the Shamokin Dam studio) and my wife got her left arm done at the Williamsport studio. Were obviously very pleased with the work and are hoping to get squeezed in before leaving for Europe next month🤞🏻.

Every single tattoo I have from them is faded out so bad. One I had covered recently by another artist. Which is way better than totem. Currently in process of getting mine re done. In the mean time they are like half missing. Wouldn’t recommend save your money and go to TenThirtyOne Tattoo. You won’t regret it.

Everyone from the floor managers to the artists are a delight to talk to! Ive only gotten piercings here at this point. Miss Ruth knows her stuff and offers her service at incredibly reasonable prices given her experience and skill. I got 3 piercings done at once and she took her time to make sure that the piercings were placed perfectly and the jewelry was correctly sized, put on fresh gloves often, talked through aftercare, used brand new sterile tools and jewelry as well as fresh coverings on the furniture (think like in a doctors office), and made sure I was good to go for the next piercing after I was done with the previous one (as some were a bit intense.). All of the jewelry is high quality - nothing here thatll turn your skin green! A lot of it is Neometal (threadless pieces) and I think Anatometal (internally threaded bars, CBRs, FBRs, nose screws, etc) if youd like to look the brands up.Although theyre removable, I treat piercings like theyre permanent and I take great pride in having several beautiful, well-healed ones. Its not just something I do on a whim! If youre serious about quality piercings, go to Miss Ruth!As a side note if youre planning on going to a Saturday walk-in for tattoos, go early, like, before they open. Theres usually a line outside waiting for the door to open and slots fill up quickly.
