I have purchased all my Stihl equipment from Ace in Willowick. What outstanding people and outstanding service! Never an issue never a problem. Fast and attentive service. I recently had a piece of equipment that was manufacturer recalled, they ordered the parts and had the repair done in a couple days, much faster than I imagined. Awesome service thanks!!

I went to get help on a new light switch for my house and a very helpful and knowledgeable worker named Blake helped me! I went home and used all of his helpful information! I did it! No problems! 3 way pole switch that needed to be separated into 2 separate switches! I would have never known to break that metal piece! The words are so small on the instructions! If I never go to another Ace hardware I’ll be happy. Nobody wanted to greet a customer, prices were not on products and the team members had no clue what was going on. The store has like 4 aisles and 15 team members, but nobody wants to assist. Ridiculous and will not be back. Gladly took my business to Menards, even though it was further away.

Id ask management to review with staff the fact that some customers cannot wear a mask for health purposes. And that those customers do not have to disclose that fact. Then, you have your cashier touch and hand a provided mask from behind the counter, without sanitizing first, to that customer who is next in line, and had shopped the store for 30 minutes and nobody said a word. When the customer said, Oh, no thank you, your cashier asked the customer to exit the store. No scene was created and the customer set items on the counter and left without a word, in lieu of having to disclose medical information in front of the 5 other customers in line, which could have cost your location a hefty fine.Leave the unmasked people alone. They are taking a bigger risk by entering without a mask, vs your patrons who choose to wear one, right?

In the middle of a project I needed four specific fittings I called they said they had 2 in stock so I said I would be there in 25 minutes. When I was halfway there I called again and said I would not arrive until 7:01. The store manager, Scott, told me that was too late because the store closes at 7 and he was not going to keep it open for me. Incredibly unhelpful. I do not recommend this Ace Hardware store.

Called & asked if they have my size furnace filters. They did. Asked if I could pick up at the curb & was told I need to go on line to order, when I explained I do not have a computer was told I would need to go inside. I am 64yrs old and disable with a compromise health issues. Was told they could not help and I had to come in. Lived in Willowick over 60yrs & usually stores are very generous in helping. Was very disappointed. Will not be shopping here. Miss Walkers Hardware.

They are always very happy to answer any questions you may have and they are always there to help in any way.

Pretty good staff here. My last visit was kind of find it on your own. not too much assistance as usuual this time around. The store is clean and well managed. Prices are a bit higher but worth it simply because they actually help you if you need it.

They had butane lighter fuel. I couldnt find it anywhere else. The staff were helpful and friendly, and knew exactly where in the store it was located. Great job.

The people working on the floor are always nice and helpful. The young lady at the counter didn not offer me a bag for my purchases. I had a plastic bag in my purse that I pulled out. No apology or offer. She still told me to have a nice day though.

The store has the most unhelpful employees. They wont honor Ace hardware coupons from mailers. The five separate times Ive been there since they opened, the employees act like its a tremendous chore to help me out. Ive left my selections at the register, due to the attitudes. Today, their doors were bolted, but not locked. I tried to signal to the cashier that their doors were unlocked while they counted the register. The lady wouldnt even look at me. Just kept signaling to me that they were closed. Save your time and money and shop at Bergers Ace Hardware in Mentor!

Everyone is super helpful and nice when I go in, and the coupons I got for signing up for the free rewards program are so worth it since I shop there often anyway!

I called to make sure an item was in stock and was put on hold and forgot about until a gentleman apologized that the lady never responded to my question after putting me on hold. Not the best service. So decided to go somewhere else with employees who are willing to actually assist you.

Prices a little higher than the big box stores, but if I am in the middle of a project and need something, they almost always have it, and help me find it, or find it for me quickly. Everybody in this store is outstanding! Store is well organized, well stocked and clean. I wish the other hardware stores were this well staffed.😀

Im in this store at least 3 times a week everyone is been super friendly from the 1st day, I walk with cane, so they always offer to help load awkward purchases for me. Although I know what Im shopping for I also hear them educating others so the dont purchase wrong items.

They say Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks. That is especially true for this Ace location. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable and will go out of their way to point me I to the right direction. There is fresh popcorn available for consumption on the weekends while I walk around the store.

Since moving to Willowick I use this store frequently. Their prices arent the greatest nor are they the worst. Their staff is always very helpful and pleasant as well. Good selection of products for almost every need.

Amazing customer service. Walked in the worker asked us what she could help us with and then while walking there another worker asked us what he could do to help out. Definitely a friendly environment was able to get in and out quickly.

They need a more diverse staff. Staff they have is friendly however.

Hands down the best, friendliest customer service. If you rent a uhaul they bring it to the front door for you and you drop it off at the front door. They carry any heavy purchases to the counter for you without asking and the free popcorn is always fresh!

Great selection, competitive pricing, very clean store. Staff has been incredibly upbeat and helpful everytime I have gone in.

I rented a U-Haul from them on March 30th & the odometer & printed receipt read 3802 but on the written receipt it looked as though it it said 3502 so I took a picture of the odometer as we returned it & it read 3815 which is 13 miles, we predicted that we would drive 20 miles for a total of $54 so imagine my surprise when I saw my card charged for 254 on the 31st & 294 on the 1st! Then we were put through the run around as they tried to tell us we drove 300 miles then afterwards said the odometer was at 3900 miles. They made us feel like they were scamming us & I would never rent or shop with them again
