Been going here ever since it opened. The location was previously a movie rental shop (early 90s) when DVDs came to be they couldnt keep up and had to close up but the Comix Gallery has filled in the spot perfectly. Vern, I love you man. Thanks for all the memories!

This comic book shop is like being at home. The owner works there 99% of the time and he is the kindest and funniest man I have met in awhile. The selection of comics is very large and the owner can help you find whatever it is youre looking for.

Me and two kids were walking to the Linden El and noticed this comic store. My daughter is 3 and really wanted to go in. So we went in and looked around briefly and she found something that was mostly age appropriate. We went to the counter to pay and my daughter and I handed the owner 4 dollar bills to pay. Well, there was a $5 bill wedged in between the singles and the owner came outside and found us walking to our car to return the extra $5. So, I cant say much about the prices or quality or how it stacks up to other comic book stores but I can say that I my daughter and I had a good experience and that the owner was nice and helpful and the customer service was great. Who knows, maybe my daughter will get hooked on comics, and if she does, we will definitely come back often.

Vern has always taken good care of me and my family. His recommendations are spot on. So sad to hear he is retiring soon!
