My son gets his haircut with Yolanda at the KidSnips in Wilmette and she is phenomenal! We drive from south Chicago just to come to her because she is the only person I know who can cut my sons long hair the way he loves it. Ive always had a great experience here! My 3 kids have been seeing rose over 8 yrs I want to say. Took my 4yo for her first haircut ever and I was beyond Happy with roses work! We even had my daughters hair styled after the cut ❤️

They did a great and quick job. Kept my son distracted and got the cut done.

I’ve brought my two grandsons to the Wilmette location several times now and we have always had a terrific experience. The stylists are always super friendly and professional. The place itself is incredibly clean and adheres to all COVID protocols. We always leave there with a smile on our faces and my grandsons love the way their hair looks! I highly recommend this location.

Great environment... The kids feel very at ease at this place because of all of the toys and colorful decor. The stylists are very nice and professional. The experience for my children was excellent. One challenge is having your kids want all of the toys that are there which have a large markup. Seeing expectations before hand is a good idea.

Have been coming here for 2 years. Most of the stylists are very friendly and good and that is why we go. Just one thing, the girl at the front desk never smiles and is very rude. She definitely should not be working in a kids place. I would assume they would hire staff that is friendly with children.

Love this place! Its the only place I would take my daughter for her hair cut, its designed around the children! the overall experience is great, the kids get to watch a movie while they get their hair cut and get to pick a treat from the treasure chest which my daughter loves!

Was my second time there and once again they did a great job on both my Granddaughters!! I will continue to go there because they are great with children and both my Granddaughters come out looking beautiful with their braids and fairy dust!! And they carry Original sprouts Products Bonus!!!!!!

We have been going here for years! Rose is phenomenal and the other stylists have always been great, too! They are patient with our children as they have grown and gotten more specific about what they want in a haircut, yet they remain efficient so that we are always in and out quickly. And, as an added bonus, it is a great place to pick up birthday gifts for our kids friends, too!

My 6 year old loves coming here! They sell lots of kids toys so we come here for birthday gifts even when she isnt having her hair cut.

Excellent kids barber shop, with fun toys for sale, ipads to keep kids distracted during their or their siblings cuts and prizes. Some hair stylists are much better than others though.

I liked nothing about this location. ..my grandson had never had an issue getting his haircut at the Arlington Heights location and the stylist Stella at this location literally traumatized him. ..Stella didnt even take a minute to let him get adjusted to her or the situation. ..this is a 2 year old...never again will we return here. .I would not suggest this location to anyone. .

Yolanda has been cutting my sons hair for 12 years! I wouldnt let another stylist touch his hair as he has several cowlicks that can only be managed by Yolandas magic touch. If your child has uncontrollable hair or you just want a really great cut for your kid. See Yolanda!

Well-organized, friendly place. Patient, very competent hair-cutter. While the place is very commercial, and a bit pricey, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back—my grandson, who is somewhat afraid of haircuts, had a very easy time there!

My son Jonathan is autistic and has been seeing Yvonne since he was 3, he is now 8. She has patience and is amazing with my son. My son only wants to see Yvonne when he goes there. The staff is also very friendly.
