What I like about this place is that they make the pasta on sit, its all fresh.Ordered the grill Halibut with pesto citrus over seafood linguine. The fish was seasoned well but little over done. The linguine was just right and the service is good. If you like pasta, I do recommend this place, hard to get good pasta around here and Chicago.
After a day of shopping, I was exhausted and didn’t feel like fixing dinner. I decided to try The Noodle cafe. I was dining alone and the staff made me feel very welcome. I ordered the Asian Sesame and Scallop salad. The seafood was grilled and served on a salad with rice noodles and a light peanut dressing. Delicious! If you’re dinning solo sometime, I’d recommend The Noodle Cafe.

Best italian! Love their tortellini with pesto and their garlic bread is amazing. Also have great service. We ordered curbside but when we got home we realized we were missing something. But they drove it over with a couple of complimentary desserts. Highly recommend!

Best tomato basil soup Ive ever had and the avocado chicken sandwich was excellent. Intimate cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. Its even better in the summer when you can sit outside.

Probably the best place for Italian in Wilmette. The seating inside is VERY small, so if you are planning for dinner on a busy day, be ready to wait or call ahead. You can call in for carry-out as well, which usually doesnt take too long. All of their pastas are fantastic, as are the entrees. Prices are reasonable and they have a good variety of food. Would recommend for anyone in the area.
One of the most consistently wonderful casual dining options in the North Shore. I travel from Barrington every few weeks for dinner. Great food, accommodating service, and a good wine list at very reasonable prices.
The noodle cade is becoming a tradition for our family. It is the official beginning of Thanksgiving as we have now gone there the day before for the past 4 years. No wonder why... the fresh pasta is absolutely the best. No question about it. You then add friendly and attentive service.... we love it. I just wish I lived closer so the Noosle could be more of a regular place. It would certain be one of our go to places for all kinds of occasions.

Excellent spot for fresh pasta! Amongst us we had angel hair with a sausage tomato sauce, chicken spinach lasagna, and fettuccini with chicken and asparagus. The non pasta eater had pork belly (the nights special) and they said it was exquisite. The tomato basil soup and garlic bread are not to be missed! The restaurant is very small, so expect a wait

The Noodle is one of the best little restaurants on the north shore. Consistently good food and service. Great pasta dishes, and the do a wonderful job with fish. The restaurant is small, and they only take reservations for four or more, so sometimes there is a wait. Casual, relaxed atmosphere and kid friendly.
If you walk by, this place may not grab your attention but it is definitely worth stopping in and giving it a shot. I will promise you it wont be your only visit. The Noodle Cafe is a cozy place with amazing food for a very reasonable price. If there is one thing you have to try, it is the tomato basil soup. Id be happy if they gave it to me in a paper cup because it would go down faster. From what I understand, they are frequented by locals and that to me is definitely a good sign.
I had high hopes for this place, they just didn’t live up to the expectations I had. The staff was extremely friendly, and the dining room is small and intimate. In nice weather they have outside dining. Let me preface my next comments with this: I come from an Italian household and I compare every Italian restaurant with my mom and grandmother’s home cooking, so few places rank 5 stars. The asparagus soup I had was very good. I could’ve had a huge bowl of that (and the garlic bread) and been happy. I had the penne with pesto sauce. Ehhhh, it really had no flavor. They get big props for homemade pasta however. I love that, but it was very tasteless and the pesto was bland. The dish could have used more garlic and seasoning. I also tried my friend’s penne with red sauce. It also could have used more seasoning. I do plan on going back to try something else just to see if I just picked the wrong combo of pasta and sauce.

The Noodle is a great Wilmette restaurant. They have wonderful homemade pasta in a quaint little setting. You can also get carryout there which we frequently do. Try the awesome lasagna.
The wife and I were looking for something yummy while out and about and drove by and decided to stop. A rather small place but very busy for dinner. You can tell the locals love the place, but alas my wife had to send her dinner back because it was served Luke warm. My noodle dish was bland. Many others around were loving their food, so perhaps we just ordered wrong.

The food always meets or exceeds expectations and the staff are friendly and competent (I cant recall ever having an order get goofed up). This is our go-to place to take family and friends from out-of-town.

The food was good and theres no question about that even though the portion was very small and they charge $4 if youre not that hungry and want to share your food. Everyone must order their own entree, they say. However, our experience was horrible since we were treated very badly by the hostess when I asked her whether the specific dish I was looking to order had wine or not. That was it and from then on she kept ignoring both of us the whole time. At the end, she threw the check at the table and left without saying any words, which had not happened to us ever. I had a hard time getting her attention the whole time. I would never come back to this restaurant!

Like no other pasta Ive ever experienced. All noodles are made on-site, and everything is out-of-this-world delicious. The place is small and cozy, classy but extremely comfortable, and the staff is as down-to-earth as they come. They dont bother or pressure you, and they always start by asking if youll be having anything to drink other than water, which is a win. Try the green pesto sauce on linguini, and the tomato basil soup. Incredible.The location in downtown Wilmette is lovely, and parking on the street is always available. Its a one-minute walk from the Metra station, making it a great stop after a day in Chicago.
