Been coming to this dealership for over 5 years for all my service needs. Not pushy like another dealership up north. Never had any service issues or tried to sell me more service. Within the last two years Ive been assisted on and off by Chelsea. I want to mention that she is very professional and technically proficient. She is very knowledgeable and answers my technical questions very accurately. During emergency breakdowns she never hesitates to take my vehicle in and offer/recommend amenities for use. Its the only place I take my vehicles to for service and I cannot recommend them enough to friends or colleagues. Grateful to be a customer.

Great experience from start to finish. Herbie Temoney is the guy to see here. He is a joy to deal with - funny, personable, fair, and doesnt waste time or keep you waiting around. This is my second Nissan lease and I feel great about the deal I got. We had done plenty of research on numbers and we expected them to lowball the equity of my trade in, but they offered me precisely what I was prepared to negotiate for. Herbie went above and beyond to make sure I got the extras I wanted, too.He referred us to a friend at another dealership because my brother-in-law wanted a specific truck. We went directly over there after my deal was done and his friend sold my brother-in-law that very truck.On top of all that, he pointed us in the direction of some righteous BBQ. I owe him a big plate of brisket and greens and I wont let him down.

I recently helped my daughter purchase a new Nissan from Capital Nissan and found the overall experience to be great. They made the whole buying/trading in process easy even though I was dealing with them remotely. I’d say the only thing I did not like was their unwillingness to negotiate/take off some of the dealer add-on items that I didn’t want. Other than that Josh and the rest of the Capital Nissan team were easy to work with.

My husband and I stopped at Capital Nissan with on real thoughts of buying a car, we were just looking. But we had the pleasure of speaking with Herbert Temoney about the price of a particular car but it was not what we were looking for. I continued to look as my husband waited at the our car ( he knows how aimlessly I wander when I shop), and Herbert didn’t smother me but would come when I wanted to know the price of a particular vehicle. I had asked if he would let me look inside of one vehicle so he went all the way to the office from the certified lot to get the key. While he was away I saw the Nissan Sentra sr Turbo with the midnight trim… I knew it was the car for my son!! When Herbert was coming back with the other keys, I asked for the keys for the Sentra and drove it around the parking lot, needless to say I surprised my son that afternoon with his new car!I have to say that Herbert was the best sales consultant I have dealt with (and this is this is the second car we have purchased this year). He was discrete and always available for me, but never in my space trying to push a vehicle on me, he was never assuming and let me wander the whole car lot without ever appearing frustrated (I am a hard person to follow, I tend to ask about 1 thing and suddenly something else catches my attention and I’m off).If you are in need of a new car and want a sales person to work with you, and not ON you, Herbert Temoney at Nissan Capital is that kind of sales person

Ethan and his staff were amazing! Called about a vehicle on his lot due to the fact we’re 4 hours away from Wilmington, Ethan gave me very descriptive and detailed information about the truck and Within 15 minutes of talking they had us approved and ready to ride. We drove 4 hours past multiple dealerships to work with him and his staff, when we pulled up we were greeted like humans not like another car deal and they had us inside and through finance super quick even with our newborn with us. I would highly suggest Ethan and Capital Nissan for your next purchase whether it’s new or used!

The good: friendly staff and attentive. Overall, very happy with my new car.The bad: They are not upfront about all charges. I was adamant about not wanting to sign up for any warranties just to find out they automatically enrolled me in one. There was so much going on with paperwork and many other fees that i didn’t notice the charge until I got home. It’s listed under “resist all” so not very clear that it’s a warranty. I actually had to google it to figure out what it was. $599 for something I don’t want and likely won’t use! I wasn’t even provided any information on what it actually entails or how long it’s good for. I spoke with my sales person the next day and asked to opt out and be reimbursed. He said it’s not something you can decline. He then said to stop by the dealership to pick up a brochure for more info on the warranty- why wasn’t I given it in the first place?! The dealership isn’t around the block from me, I don’t want to drive all the way there for a piece of paper. Asked if he could email or text it and he said yes but I never received anything. My main issue is the fact that they were not transparent about this mandatory warranty or the fee that goes with it.

Michael and his team are amazing! He got me set up with a car that best fit my life style and I bought sight unseen - it is absolutely perfect I love my Rogue! In the service department Becky was so nice and friendly and got me all set up and taken care of. I’m from florida but bought my car in Wilmington and drove all the way up to work with this team because their level of service is exceptional. A dealership and service team that truly take care of their customers. 10/10 recommend!

The worst car buying experience I have ever had.The Salesman was very nice but made promises he did not keep. After two unsuccessful attempts to resolve my problems I called the sales manager. I talked to him, explained my issues and was told “I will personally call you back once I get to the bottom of the problem.” He NEVER called back, he put it on the salesman to call, sad. So, I then called the GM for this dealership, Noah Woods and that was worthless call. I explained to him my concerns (that the sales manager never called as promised and the salesman really dropped the ball after the sale etc.) and was treated with true indifference. Was told that their suppliers and external issues were the cause of my problems. Customer service is a lost art…..After 4 attempts at resolving my auto buying issues they are finally resolved. WARNING if you do not live local do not accept a ‘we owe’ you may have to make serveral trips to get what you are owed. As I stated at the beginning “worst car buying experience I have ever had!”DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I bought a used Prius remotely, without ever having driven it. From the other reviews here, it seems like the entire staff is great, but Karen and JJ were absolutely wonderful. No pressure, perfect clarity and honesty about *everything*. The whole experience was flawless. Ive been looking for a car for months, literally up and down the east coast and even into Canada, where I lived for a few years, and it had become an exercise in frustration, red flags, and misery, until I found this Prius. The car was delivered right to my front door, by Dennis, and everything was exactly as promised. Not only was the car perfect and the price THOUSANDS less, but Capital Nissans people put every other interpersonal experience with dealers in the shade.

I’ve bought a few cars in my lifetime and the experience I had with Franco was the best. We were pleasantly surprised with the rubber floor mats. Also the paperwork was ready and from start to finish probably took 30 minutes. Maybe a unique situation but it was definitely nice. Highly recommend Franco.

The entire staff, especially our salesman Brody, was friendly and caring.We bought a used 2018 Rogue that appeared to have some surface rust on the exhaust system. They agreed to order and apply a protective coating to prevent further damage at no cost the next day. Even gave us a courtesy ride home while the work was being done. You cant ask for better service than that!

I bought a 2021 Maxima 3 weeks ago after 2 weeks found out that the front part of my sunroof had a defect and parts had to be ordered. I was called the next day and given a day to bring the car to be fixed. When I arrived that day everyone said I had shown up on the wrong date. There was some confusion on what I was told or maybe what I heard but Kaitlyn in the service department got on the phone and made a few calls and was able to get me in at that moment so I didn’t have to make an extra trip and I love an hour away so that was a blessing. They were able to get me into a rental and only had the car half the time they first thought it would take and it looks great. This is the third car I’ve bought from them and would buy again and definitely refer anyone to buy their next car here. Curt in detailing does great work making them shine and everyone there has always been very friendly to me. I give them five stars for everything and a special thanks to Kaitlyn again there was an issue but she worked around it and found a solution. Thank you Kaitlyn I really appreciate the effort you put in for me and Ik you do for others. That can change a not so great day into a much better one and thank you Capital Nissan!!!!!!!!

I bought a Chevy Malibu 2019 from them in March of 2020 within a year I have had several issues and now have had a broken transmission which has taken them almost a month to fix after having to send it to Chevy. I am picking my car up today to find out that I had to pay for majority of the rental because they sold me a broken car. Understandably frustrated instead of helping the young lady assisting me chose to be rude and let me know that they have not had my car 30 days even though its been almost that amount of time and I still had to make my car payment and car insurance. I expected to be treated better buying a new car I have always made my payments on time and my service is on time to have such terrible customer service is ridiculous. Nissan hardly kept in touch with me unless I called to ask to ask for an update I highly suggest you buy from anywhere but this dealership.

I recently decided I wanted to trade in my 2015 Nissan Rogue and loved the service I received with Capital so I thought Id start there. Haley took my call and was super helpful over the phone and had me come in to meet a sales agent. I got there a little early but Brody Lancaster was able to jump right in and help. Brody was amazing. Not only with helping me to get the car of my dreams but with my 1 year old I had no choice but to bring with me! When the first vehicle didnt work out we transitioned into a new one with ease and worked diligently to get me out of there as my little guy was getting tired. While I was finishing up finance, (and I cant remember his name but he was the only one there last night, and he was wonderful as well!) Brody even switched my car seat from my old car to my new one so I could zoom out and get my boy home. Would 1000% recommend this place for anyone looking to purchase a vehicle Ill hopefully be sending my husband there when hes ready to trade out his jeep.

Bought a 2018 Maxima Platinum. Sales rep was Tim and finance closer was Rick. I have to say, I have been thrilled with every step of the car buying process with Capital Nissan. From start to finish, I felt as if I was purchasing a Mercedes S600. I was offered cold water, introduced to the service staff, had the sales manager come up and introduce himself and so much more. At NO time did I feel ANY pressure to purchase. As a matter-of-fact, when the sales manager came up to me, he simply shook my hand and said that they would appreciate having an opportunity to sell me a car. They did more than that. They sold me (a salesman) on SERVICE.Oh yeah, and the car is awesome! I received a great deal on an end of model year vehicle and it was washed, polished and detailed at delivery. The quality of the car is amazing for the money.But I was so impressed by the team at Capital Nissan. Unless I strike it rich somehow (which is in the works), I would very much consider purchasing ANOTHER vehicle from them when I tire of my Maxima (which MAY take a while!!) Well done team!!

Was told I needed a new transmission at a cost of $5600. Have had problems with this transmission since we owned the vehicle & have had the recalls taken care of. Took the vehicle to another service center & they replaced the front wheel bearings & the noise I was hearing in my vehicle is now gone & it drives fine. I wasnt experiencing problems with the transmission but thats what they diagnosed for $170. Will not be returning to this dealership & will not be purchasing another Nissan, even though we have had several & my husband currently drives a Nissan.

This is a car dealership that you do not want to go to.... they used the typical bait and switch ... I went in this morning was given a price on the vehicle went on a test drive fell in love with the truck did all paperwork to pick up truck this afternoon. I was told when I went back after work that they had a switch in promotion this month and there was a $4000 increase in the price of the truck .... if you want a hassle free car purchasing experience my recommendation is Carmax.

This review is FOR THE VEHICLE I bought Saturday July 3 2021 around 6pm. The SALESMAN, SALES MGR. & FINANCEMGR. were TOP NOTCH.The vehicle in question is a 2011 Jeep Wrangler 2 door hardtop with 55k miles.The JEEP is in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION and looked like it spent its life in a garage, so naturally I was impressed. I asked the question How did they get it...trade or Auction? The salesman(a fellow Veteran), pulled up the history...LOCAL TRADE, NO ACCIDENTS...SOLD ORIGINALLY in California, spent some time in Colorado (not long however), then to Wilmington NC for several years.All the answers were what I was looking for as a LOT of USED JEEPS come from SNOWBELT STATES with SEVERE RUST ISSUES. We did the customary BACK & FORTH with the SALES MGR.(another Vet) and we struck a deal after telling him I had my eye on a CARVANA, 1 OWNER, NO ACCIDENT VEHICLE. He said he was RIGHT IN LINE with them with LESS MILES. CARVANA for one WOULDNT SELL THAT VEHICLE...PLUS has a 7 DAY RETURN IT IF ITS NOT RIGHT FULL REFUND POLICY.My girlfriend drove the Jeep back to Beaufort NC where we were staying for the long weekend with NO COMPLAINTS.We decided to transport the vehicle to Greensboro NC via a U-Haul Auto transport on Wed July 7th. It was during the LOADING of the JEEP on the trailer that the PROBLEM was noticed.While securing the vehicle down on the trailer, the vendor mentioned the AMOUNT OF RUST and even a HOLE in the FLOOR ALL THE WAY THROUGH SIZE OF A BASEBALL!!My girlfriend looked under to confirm as Ive had back surgery and a hip replacement and am unable to get down too low myself. I had her take a video of the damage as we are BOTH RETIRED SENIOR CITIZENS in our late 60s on FIXED INCOMES.My COMPLAINT is the CONDITION of the vehicle for the price I paid. I certainly would have PASSED on the DEAL if the dealership would have answered TRUTHFULLY when asked about the CONDITION or ADJUSTED the PRICE ACCORDINGLY. They claim to FULLY INSPECT the vehicle and call THIS JEEP IN ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION that would fit my needs.NOW, Im worried about having to SPEND SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS in REPAIRS or have something fall off or needing to be replaced. We certainly DONT FEEL SAFE in it for FEAR of FALLING THROUGH that hole....WHICH IS FLAKING OFF in POTATO CHIP SIZE CHUNKS.The PEOPLE I was involved with MAY NOT HAVE KNOWN about the condition of the UNDERSIDE and I hold NO ANIMOSITY to them....However WHOEVER did the VEHICLE INSPECTION for FLAWS OBVIOUSLY MISSED THIS BIG ONE!ITS REALLY UNSAFE TO PUT ANYONE/ANYTHING in the CARGO/REAR SEAT AREA..Looks like I BOUGHT an OVER-PRICED GRASS KILLER...SHOULD HAVE STUCK WITH CARVANA.BEWARE OF THE QUALITY OF WILMINGTON NISSAN USED CARS!

Its was time for closing and they stayed after and assist me. I went for a used car and ended up with a brand new 2020 SUV. The hospitality was amazing all employees kept checking in on me. Mr. Springfield took the time to show and explain the services and other things I need help with. I will rate them more than 100 if I could. Excellent customer service. Booked an oil change. Oil always needs to be changed on time, not mileage. Was forced to have the 30,000 mile service done with only 23,000 miles on car.This car was sold as life time oil changes. If the age of the oil, according to technician sticker put on car, then Nissan should expect that the oil should be changed at that time of expiration.I was informed that if I did not do the 30,000 mile warranty work that I would not qualify for the warranty on the car.I can insure you that the time will expire on the present oil change before I hit the 30,000 mile mark and I will once again be coming in for the oil change.VERY deceptive practice! Not a happy camper!

I was going for my regular oil change, but had to have the engine cooling fan changed as well. I was pleased they had the parts necessary and finished the job relatively quickly. I really like my technician. Shes courteous and knowledgeable. 4/21 Update: went for inspection, oil change and 60,000 mile service. Pleasantly surprised to have use of a free rental to run errands while car being serviced...SA-WEET!!

Dont waste your time. In the time we took the truck for a test drive, they increased the price $1000. Even changed it on Facebook marketplace and their website. Got back to the dealership to negotiate, and the salesman accused us of playing games. Unprofessional.

I was sold a car that was not properly checked through and turned out to have engine problems the same day off the lot, they gave me a replacement car that turned out to be great. Until I recently came in the dealership today, the same car that was supposed to have all the same coverage as the other car is not covered as a certified preowned. Which means I dont have the free oil changes such as my old car that I was given originally and was lied to in the process. I would not recommend this dealership to anybody due to the fact of lack of integrity and not honoring their customers as they should. They are misleading them into lies and manipulation. Would give zero stars but google wont allow it. Hopefully this help people make better choices with the cars they choose and where they choose to get it from.

I went there with a specific car in mind. When i called Aubrey was super helpful and friendly and set me up with Ethan so he could help me find what I was looking for. He went above and beyond to help me (calling and texting working on a budget with me etc..), unfortunately the management didnt. They showed that they could care less and werent willing to work with their clients at all. I was ready to sign papers but after Ethan coming back from the managers regretfully informing me nothing could be done to help my situation i decided to go else where. Management might want to think about trying a little harder considering theyre in a college town.... Me and my friends will have to find somewhere else to purchase our vehicles. Kaitlyn was an angel! We were visiting Wilmington from middle Tennessee for a one night stay. On our way to our event our car broke down. We were stranded on the highway, 10 hours away from home, totally outside our element and I was almost in full panic mode. We contacted Kaitlyn 10 minutes before closing on a Saturday evening and she stayed over to ensure we were taken care of. Within 2 hours of breaking down, our vehicle was towed to Capital Nissan, Kaitlyn coordinated a car rental, scheduled our vehicle for an appointment first thing Monday morning and picked us up off the highway when the tow truck could not take us. She literally saved our weekend. We were able to get to our event on time, enjoy the evening and an impromptu vacation day Sunday. We got our vehicle back early enough on Monday for us to make it back to Tennessee at a reasonable time on Monday and resume our normal lives. We cannot express how grateful we are that Kaitlyn answered the phone Saturday and turned her life upside down to turn ours right side up. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

This was mine and my husbands second/third purchase from a Nissan dealership and it couldnt have been a better experience. From the moment we pulled in and met him, Patrick was professional, knowledgeable and super helpful. We told him what we needed and he was straight up with us and did exactly what we asked of him without hesitation. In fact every very staff member and the manager were all friendly and helpful. Beware the bait and switch..... I took my 16yr old daughter to look at a nice vehicle that was listed at $13900. The salesman, Joe, was very nice and helpful. We mentioned that we would like to be at $14,000 out the door, and he said that he couldn’t do that because of tax and registration, and their internet price is their lowest price. No problem...I asked hi that 3% NC sales tax and registration should put it at $14,500-$14,600 out the door, and he said that sounded about right. So my daughter test drove the vehicle and fell in love with it. We go back inside to write the deal up, only to have my daughter crushed with disappointment when Joe came back with a $16,500 out the door price after talking with his manager!! He and/or his manager added about $800 for an “accessories package” that included some kind of ceramic coating (which it didn’t have because the vehicle was dirty and the battery was dead), and then tacked on almost an additional $1000 in random fees to that. Is this the way car dealerships do business nowadays? I see it as very unethical, and my daughter had the unfortunate opportunity to see it in person.UPDATE: General Manager David contacted us the next day to see if there was anything they could do to earn our business. I explained what had transpired, and he graciously honored the $14500 price we were quoted. On top of that, Joe is delivering the vehicle to me at work, which is 3 hrs away!!! We all make mistakes, but they have gone above and beyond to make things right with me. Thank you Capital Nissan, you have made a young girl very happy, and earned our continued business!

My situation is unusual because I don’t live in Wilmington, but I want to make sure this dealership and staff get the credit they deserve. While on a family vacation, the air conditioner in my 2011 Quest stopped working. I didn’t want to try and find a random repair shop that may or may not have the necessary parts for my vehicle, so I went to Capital Nissan as soon as I could get an appointment. Kaitlyn was my point person for my entire experience and I’m so grateful for that. She was honest with me about the problem with the vehicle (needed a new compressor), and also advised me of some potential transmission issues that were not flagging as faults during my visit, but showed up on the diagnostic as previous faults and let me know that was something to look out for. Larry the shuttle driver took me back to the home I was staying at while my vehicle was being serviced. He was so friendly and we had a great chat on the drive. Later that evening, Kaitlyn was able to set me up with a great rental vehicle for a couple of days. Hurricane Isaias was heading toward Wilmington as all of this was happening, and she didn’t want me to be stranded if the impact was severe. Even with a one-day lag because of the hurricane, Kaitlyn and the Capital Nissan team had my Quest back to me really quickly and we were able to get on with our vacation with the AC back up and running. I’m so thankful that this dealership was nearby during this issue because I felt really taken care of at a time when I could have been taken advantage of. This team did a great job. No help with my vehicle at all. I was told it needs to go to the junkyard. I have a transmission put in at PROBUILT transmission about a year or so and they said it came from you guy. Its never been right and its doing the same thing when i took it the first time. It has less then 4000 miles on the transmission. So i probably wouldnt recommend anyone to purchase a Nissan. And PROBUILT transmission dont have one clue about transmissions they pretty good at lying to you once they have your hard earned money. Thanks Steven Tyler

She was by far one of the most considerate and applicable customer service representatives that I have had the pleasure to work with. The staff was amazing. In the area and my car was making a vibration. Had an idea and they confirmed it. Price was quite reasonable and were able to do it all in 2 hours. Staff continuously asked if I wanted a chair outside or something to drink. Kept me well informed and washed the car after service. If I was staying in the area or buying I would definately recommend getting service from them.

For about a year or more I had been saving for a car. I had one with a lot of problems and I wasn’t sure of what I wanted. I always enjoyed riding in Nissans so I said why not! I went up to Wilmington Nissan hoping to just look around and have an idea about what to buy. Jerry was extremely extremely helpful, I had an eye an a car which I was unfortunately not able to get but Jerry helped me find a nice 2016 that day that was in my range! Being 18 with no credit, and no co-signer made it difficult for me. But the finance guy and Jerry were able to help me trade in my older car for a great price and were able to help me get a car with 45,000 miles! The entire buying experience was great. All members of the staff from sales to finance were professional throughout the whole buying experience. They did not have the vehicle that we wanted and were able to locate it and have it there the next day, despite being a few hours away. They were definitely willing to go the extra mile. Lets start with unethical sales tactics.So Sherlly and Becky expressed that there will be a $500 nonrefundable deposit to hold the vehicle. Later Michael told John to call and alter the agreement to a $5,000.00 nonrefundable deposit before every viewing the car. They decided to alter the agreement after retaining financial information.Only logical reason is, they are selling cars that would be otherwise less acceptable in person.Ill be filling complaints as necessary.Response to (owner): They wanted a $5000.00 nonrefundable downpayment before examining the car. We went from $500 deposit to $5k. In addition, the hidden fees such as nitro fill. Moreover, the warranty offer changed frequently through negotiation. Your dealership is a sham. I would never let you waste another second of my time. Unless you send me a $5,000.00 nonrefundable payment for wasting my time and attempting to fraud me, I might call in and discuss it afterwards. (Same offering you imposed) As I mentioned to John this will happen and he stated oh well.Your statement makes it more evident that their is much animosity behind your staffs statements. Try selling not stealing, it often builds better relationships.

I took my Sons girlfriend to capital Nissan today. Her budget was $8000 she had good credit and she wanted a 2009 Nissan, which she could not get financing for. I understand that as it’s hard to get financing for a vehicle that old anymore. However they promised to find us something else on the lot and we came all the way back from Hampsted to look at what they had. One that they mention to us in her price range they said was a CRV. She liked it. I thought well they’ll come back with a quote of 11 or 12 K for this car and be able to keep her payments under 200 which is what she needed. Instead they show up with all this extra stuff added on all these coatings and things and they charging $1000 for these. These are on every car on the lot they say. The general manager brought this quote in for her. I believe that he saw that capital one had given her close to $16,000 in credit and so he thought he would get all that money but it was not the right thing for her at all and it was not what we asked for or I asked him to do. We had a budget of 8K. He comes back with a quote for a car that is at the very max of what she can borrow. I told him that I needed to get my husband to talk about this and come back later. Of course he did not like that. He left us alone a minute then I walked back around there and I told him that I’d bring my husband back at 5:30 and thanks for his time. But I don’t plan to ever walk back in that place again. The sales guy was nice. Even the general manager guy was nice. But heWas trying to who do us
