Rafeal Was absolutely fabulous! Fast friendly and took care of my tire promptly to get me back on the road

I just had tires installed on my vehicle at the TD in Wilmington Ohio. I watched the tech put my lug nuts on with an impact and severely overtorque them. I mentioned this to the store manager and he reassured me that the impact is set very low. After they put the lug nuts on, I watched the same tech use a torque wrench on them in a circular pattern instead of a star pattern, and was practically jumping down on the torque wrench. I advised the manager and he basically guaranteed that they are torqued correctly. I drove home and got out my Snap-on torque wrench and tried to break them loose, starting at 100lb-ft. (which is the proper torque for my vehicle). I could not get any of them to come loose. I gradually increased the torque setting by 10lb-ft and tried removing the lug nuts. Most came loose between 140lb-ft and 150lb-ft, but there were 8 of the 20 that didnt break loose until over 180lb-ft. I called the store and the manager (Dave) acted like he didnt care whatsoever. This is not good practice. I would like to be contacted by a corporate representative as soon as possible. Thank you.

Great guys in there and Bill being my favorite, but cant uphold the warranty on a set of tires when only one went bad. The tire was splitting in 2 and claimed it was cut... Knocked 20 bucks off a new tire but between the manufacturer and the store, your warranty means nothing. Still recommend but with a sour note.

Did a good job getting my alignment done. I did the recommended repairs myself and took my van back after I made a appointment. Was there roughly 30 minutes. Would definitely use them again.

Car trouble is never fun. But the workers here are always very nice and explain things simply. Its not their fault you need repairs!

The tire discounters in Mason was great yesterday. We were traveling from out of state and had a flat tire. They had us up and running again with in an hour! Great shop!

My car has had a lot of parts put on that I have bought else where at this shop over the years! Why today when some rude-clown named Bill, explains to me that it is against company policy? Bill needs to get his rude attitude in check, customers come first! Additionally, I had to call 3 times to get someone to answer the phone, and when he did he has zero time to speak with me as he is speaking like an auctioneer! I wouldve asked how much to have the repair done at your shop but at no time was I permitted the opportunity. This place historically has had great turn over in staff and I see why, never again!

I rebuilt the front end on my Jeep and needed an alignment. It was bad. When it was done, the Jeep was like new. I got a printout showing how bad it was misaligned and what it looked like after the work was complete. I needed this vehicle for my job. I was able to get back on the road immediately.

These guys always provide great service and prices. They also provide helpful advice on problems they find when they are changing tires. I dont go anywhere else for tires.

Had an appt at 11am. Was told there were two appointments and was asked if I could wait an hr. I said I could. While I was waiting someone told a customer on the phone there was a cancellation for an alignment so they were able to get it in today and it was ready to pick up. After 1 hr I asked how much longer. They said 1/2 hr. I could come back later if I wanted. I do not want. I had an appointment at 11. My husband was the first to make the appointment as they told him the whole day was free when he made it. Im ready to get my keys and leave.

Rafael & team took great care of us in an unfortunate situation when a tire blew out unexpectedly. It was a busy Saturday but we were still in and out within a few short hours.

An easy oil changed just got turned into a very expensive trip to the dealership because this place stripped the plug that goes into the oil pan of my car and now that has to be repaired and possibly replaced. DO NOT DO IT. ITS NOT WORTH IT.

I came into Tire Discounters and told them that I was working on a tight budget and had a general ball park that I was expecting as far as tire price. They were willing to work with me and were very transparent with all of the services provided. I was able to sit and wait for the work to be done, and I got faster service on a full 4 tire change/balance/rotation than I get on an oil change at the dealer I purchased the car from. Tire Discounters in Wilmington has definitely earned my future business.

This place was horrible... They refused us service, lied about our trucks tire rods being bad and tried to take us for more money.. Also told us the day before that if We got there between 9 and 10 we would not have to wait and We could get in and out quickly.. Waited an hour before they even took our truck back, after having people that came in after us go before us. Then was told they cant help us.. We will never be visiting here again. And will not be recommending to anyone.

The man at the counter asked me if I need to call my husband to pay for my service. Will not be going there again.

Two times now we have given Tire Discounter our business for oil changes. Both times when we bring our vehicles home, motor oil drips on our garage floor. They apparently don’t take pride in retuning your vehicle free of spilled oil. I complained the first time, took my vehicle back, not this time, I’m finished with them.

Be nice if your management knew what they were doing.

I had an emergency tire blow out on my way home to Cincinnati from Columbus. This place was recommended to me by the tow truck service I had called. When I called to see if they had my tires in stock, I ended up breaking down crying on the phone because I was so overwhelmed. Rafael was so kind and patient with me, and he really helped me to calm down and feel better.I did not end up coming here for service, as they did not have my tires in stock (though they did offer to send a courier to get them for me). However I am so grateful for the kindness I received and would come to this shop in the future if I was ever in the area again and in need.

I had the most excellent customer service with the crew at this location. I was having a bad day because I woke up and had a tire on 4 psi! Yes, 4 psi!! Long story short I took my car into this location on Rombach Avenue and all of the associates Ispoke with were all VERY friendly. They wound up taking my tire off of its rim and patched it up all the while they small talked with me which made me feel appreciated and welcomed as a customer. I am so grateful for the care and understanding they showed me that I felt it necessary to write them a review. I want to say thank you to them and I will definitely return to them if I ever need any more services that they offer.

I love this store! I was there on November 14, 2019 to find out what was going on with my car. David took care of my car. He was pleasant, he listened to me, they fit me in to look at my car. I appreciate being included in the process, he did not just tell me what he found but showed me!He listened to my concerns and discussed with me the options of how to fix it. I came back the following day on the 15th and they were able to fix the issue!!I live 34 minutes away and will drive that to come to this store!! You can tell the managers care about what they do! Sat at the front desk for about 5 minutes until a lady greeted us, and when I say greeted us I mean we were asked “can I help you” no hello, no sorry for the wait...nothing. We explained that we got a flat tire on the highway and we’re wondering if they could squeeze us in for an appointment today. She rudely let us know that she could look at our car in about 5 hours. We explained that we were in a hurry and if there were other options like just buying a tire and putting it on ourselves..she repeated herself said she could help us in about 5 hours. Unbelievable. I understand being understaffed and not being able to help right away, but he customer service in this place was horrendous, do yourself a favor and just check out the Wilmington’s Auto Center next door.

Had wonderful service there. Installed tire and did a oil change. Not long of a wait. TV to entertain you and newspapers. Have free WiFi while you wait. Offer coffee and there a pop machine.

My daughter ran into tire trouble returning to college recently. She was told by one tire store in Wilmington,Oh that driving 171 miles on the small donut spare would be safe and she therefore sought another opinion at the Tire Discounters store in Wilmington, Oh. David waited on her and was extremely helpful. First he rightfully recommended she not attempt to make this drive with this small donut spare and secondly he went out of his way to help her. Not only was her tire flat but the rim was bent so it would not hold air. He found a rim that would work 60 miles away and had a courier get it and had it on her car in the same day. This was his second attempt to find a rim as the first one from a Ford dealership fell through. I greatly appreciated the service Tire Discounters provided, as I was 130 miles away and unable to help her and get her back on her way.cudos again to David and his efforts!

I had an appointment scheduled for 10:00 AM to drop off my car and it was suppose to be done by 12:00. The only thing they had to do was change my tire. I showed up at 1:00 to find out my car hasn’t been touched. They didn’t get it done until 3:30. This has happened to me both times I have gone. Their time management is awful. I would not recommend.

Very polite customer service. No matter if its just a quick tire pressure check or a new set of tires they have always acted in a professional manner.

Quality of work is not good. Purchased two full sets of new tires for two vehicles over the past year. Had to return multiple times for each car with slow leaks. Problems with the valve stems (in one case was told it was installed incorrectly). My daughter went in again recently. After I checked when she returned home, the tire pressure was at 50lbs!! Best case, they just didnt know what they are doing. Either way, taking my business elsewhere.

My tires was low and they took excellent and friendly service

Hour 15 minutes plus to only rotate tire. They were supposed to balance, in flate and check brakes but did nothing. I will be doing my own rotation from now on and it will only take me ten minutes. Store would be better served if three inside associates would be back in the shop working instead of gossiping in front of customers. Id give no stars if I could!

Did not have an appointment. Walked in with an urgent tire repair. David helped me and got me right in even though they were very busy. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.

We had our tires checked by Tire Discounters in Wilmington yesterday morning. We had a leak with a tire bought less than 6 months ago by them and wanted them to look at it to see the issue. They call and let us know theres a nail in said tire.We took our car to another shop that we trust and there was no nail, they just wanted more money out of us. I even looked at the tire myself. We will not be back and they lost a customer.

Service is usually good, however, I had one bad experience. I went in to have service done and was quoted for a price over the phone. After the service was done and I went in to pick up my car and pay, the total was a lot higher than I was originally quoted for. I was not happy at all. The price clearly changed and we are not talking about a couple bucks. Sometimes I go in if my car needs minor service. The front desk is always nice and helpful. If I did not have the one bad experience I had, I would go back more often.

This crew is always ready to help!! Even if it means someone has to stay late. No matter what you need they are ready to do what ever they can to get you back on the road. Thank you guys and girls!

Normally this store is a 5 star. Different management I guess but today we had oil change and tire rotation. When we got the truck back there was grease on the door interior, carpet and floor mat. Very disappointed. I went back in to ask for something to clean it and they gave me dry paper towel and only said they were sorry. Not the service I received in the past.

Reliable and professional, they helped me with several complicated problems with my tires and alignment, even when they had to try again for a second round - all at a reasonable price. Steering is now better than ever - Thanks again!

Bought 4 new tires a tuneup and oil change my husband drove the car to work every thing was just fine he got off work at 4 am to a flat tire!!! Really??? Needless to say I am not a happy camper

The experience was disappointing to say the least!, typical corporate half a$$ service and attitude! Turned a simple service into a part time job time wait!, as well tried to scam me by saying I need some tpye of $100 service!, that was not needed!! Its sad that gov!, a Corp! America! R turning evrday people into very rude and angry people!!

Wife came home and told me her tire pressure warning light came on during her drive home. I went out and checked the pressure of all the tires and discovered one was 10psi lower than the other three (it was late in the evening). We had an appointment the next day for something else, and when we got home I checked her tire pressure again and it was down another 10psi; This is when I realized there indeed was a leak. It was 3pm on Saturday and I checked Tire Discounters hours online and read they were open till 4pm. I rushed over (hoping I could get this fixed before I had to attempt putting a spare on because of it going flat) and made it around 3:15pm. I walked in and the desk associate was finishing up with another customer (sounded like he was turning him away as well). He greeted me asking what he needed to help me with and I explained I had a quick leak. He immediately told me there was nothing he could do for me today and proceeded to tell me that I would have to make an appointment for Monday... I asked him if he could at least point me somewhere that could assist me and he told me he didnt know of anyone open as late as they were. I walked out (disappointed and helpless), called my wife and we contacted Walmart who ended up being open till 7pm. Walmart got me in at 3:45pm and was done about 4:10pm (tire patch and balance).It would have been nice to feel like a customer instead of an nuisance. I unfortunately will not be going back to this Tire Discounters and will make sure others hear how I was turned away.I understand if they were busy or short handed, but they could have at least pointed me in the right direction or even offered to put my spare on.

I only went once and it seems high for a tire rotation and new brake pads on the front.Also I kept having to tell the counter that is what I wanted. I had to wait 2 hours or so and there wasnt that many people there waiting, but again it was the only time I have been to that business so it might not always be that way.

Had to take car back two times was not lined up right a weight fell off I drove it less then 20miles when all this happened had to go back and get bengles valture as part of copper promotion charged me for getting rid of tires I took them manager did give me free oil change to use at a later date weeks later I got a call one of my gift card didnt go through went back to make it right worker could not get it to take she made two call to main office got voice mail I told her I had to leave and call me when she got information on how to do payment havent heard from them enjoyed the browns beating Bengals game and there you have it have a good evening

Tire discounters are the best!! Took my car there and they fixed a slow leaking tire for free. The dealer said it wasnt fixable. Time will tell. Been a long time customer and this slow leaking tire wasnt purchased at TD.

As a master mechanic I can say that the service my family received there was severely lacking. I will have to fix my sons moms car myself after over a week being at this store for a brake leak. 1000 dollars later and the store ate all the cost of 4 calipers and rear brake pads. They replaced almost the entire system and still the brake pedal goes almost to the floor. No written estimate. They tried hard but just dont have the knowledge to perform this service. Now I will have to go through the entire brake system to ensure my families safety. Do not take your vehicle here. I had to post one star to get this through otherwise it would have been no star.

The lady at front counter needs to learn some people skills very rude today and the other day when i actually made appointment she was even rude. The gentleman who helped me was kind she needs replaced.

Bought 4 tires quoted as $95 a tire to carry out, no install. Didnt realize till got home they charged me $81.96 for install and disposal fees. Went back and branston the manager got envolved, he then told me he was required to charge me that even though I didnt get them installed. And that he personally told me that before I purchased them....I then called him out for ripping me off and lying to me because I never dealt with him I dealt with a woman when I bought them. He then started changing his story. Long story short i was so angry finally left and ordered from Bob sumerel after he wouldnt refund me the $81.96. Will be returning all 4 tires. After spending $2k in the past 2 months wont ever be doing business with someone that rips me off and lies to my face.

I picked up a screw in my tire, they repaired it in under an hour. I highly recommend getting the road hazard insurance when you get new tires--no charge for this repair.
