Guys were really helpful with getting a new eye for my rod. Talked to the guy working the counter for a while. Bought 2 Penn reels and a 11ft Penn rod for a pompano setup. These guys have it all. And damn good prices. Stop by here for any fishing needs. My go to store in Wilmington from now on for sure.
First time to this area and we dont come fully rigged. This store had all the local experience, advice, customer service and products we needed. They were helpful from teaching to tie a knot to getting the right gear. Caught lots of fish. Talking to the locals, this is the go to place.

These guys were very helpful. Sold me just what I needed to catch some fish, along with tips as I’m not from here. Got me the right hooks to use for the crabs as well! I got all my bait and supplies for less than I paid for 15 shrimp out on the pier the day before. I bought fiddler crabs, and they gave me about 4 dozen of them!

I’m new to fishing and their staff has literally spent over an hour talking through various local options and have been willing to do so during both visits to the store. Answering a myriad of questions and offering advice. They did not try to gouge me for the highest priced item. Is it higher priced that a Walmart or other super store? Maybe. I’ll gladly pay a little more for the customer service, knowledge and guidance. Their expertise saves me money because when I make uneducated purchases, I end up buying twice.

This place is definitely the spot for tackle in south east NC. Theyll have everything you could possibly need, and tons of stuff you just want. The staff are absolute beauties. They wont try to sell you the most expensive gear, they just recommend what works. Whether youre in town on vacation or just looking for some specific piece of tackle, this is the place to get it.

If youre serious about fishing, this needs to be your go to stop on a regular basis. If youre just a once in-a-whiler this still needs to be on the check list cause theyll help you with all the RIGHT tackle that will get fish on your line, not just the products that are being fazed out. Not only that the but the guys there are friendly, easy to talk to, and can help you no matter your experience or skill level. As I was getting out-fitted I listened in on several fish stories and stories of the one that got away. So if you got a story to tell, youll be in good company with those wholl appreciate it and theyll have one better than that. Its a double thumbs up place!

We love going to this marina today they had customer appreciation day which consists of great deals and free delicious food. BBQ, slaw, beans, potato salad, chips and drinks. Yes Free what an awesome place to offer free food and everyone there is so nice and friendly.

Showed up at 4:55p.m. on a Friday afternoon and they were locking the doors. The website says they dont close until 6p.m. When I called them to ask if they were still open the gentlemen said we are closing at 5 today, but yet it wasnt even 5 yet. Hopefully when we show up tmw they can redeem themselves with exceptional customer service.

By far the best experience I’ve had with a tackle shop, ever. From the way Arlin answered the phone any my questions, to his follow up, communication was excellent. Every person in the store was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and were passionate about fishing.I had all my reels spoiled by them with new line for the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament, and ordered a new flying gaff. They did an quality job and it was completed earlier than promised, and he even called to tell me they were ready.As a result of the service provided, I purchased two custom rods, a Yeti 65, net, lures, skirts and more stuff. This is the way it’s supposed to be, but sadly great communication and customer service is harder to find every day.Thanks guys!
