Thank you Lynne. On Sunday 6/13 I visited this store location to decide whether to purchase replacement foam for my outdoor seat cushions. Lynne was very helpful in giving me options to replace the foam or use what I already have. I decided to keep the foam I have already. It is so rare Sales Associates will be willing to give you honest suggestions. Lynne you made my experience at this Joann Fabrics and Craft location a great one!

Joanns is a nice store to shop for your fabric needs if you know exactly what you want and where it is.. Terrible customer service . They dont have the time to show you anything. Just direct you to areas. Not helpful at all.

Nice assortment of fabrics and craft items. Adhering to Covid 19 guidelines for customers. Knowledgeable staff and tidy store. Has elastics and nose pieces in stock for mask making.

The most unlikely place to buy dog bowls...and an adorable dog hoodie. The Joann stores are distributors for Green Canteen, which is better than Yeti. I could use my dogs dishes for home protection too! Just lob a solid steel bowl and run..I dont sew or craft. But if I did, Id use the store more. The young lady that showed me where they were also checked me out and helped me find the best coupon as well!

Went to Jo Anns today.had a bad experience..told the lady how much fabric I needed 3 times.Mrs Gail is rude have a nasty attitude with customers.it is not the first time she had treated me or other customer.she need another line of work if she can deal with public

They have so much fun stuff! The fabric choices are endless and very affordable. They also have everything you need to make a cute burlap wreath.

Great place to buy fabrics although they don’t have a good selection of fabrics in store compared to online. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

This store is typical of all in this chain. There is a big selection of fabric and craft items. Fashion fabrics are pricey to the point of being out of range for the income demographic that used to have to sew in order to afford to dress fashionably. The sales are also tricky to understand as signs are hung over items not on sale or that the few items on sale are mixed in with those that arent and labels arent terribly clear so you think you are selecting things you can afford only to be surprised at the register. These are not really problems with this particular store but the chain in general. I suppose since Joanne is the only fabric store left they have taken the opportunity to monopolize at the expense of those who still want to sew. A trip to Joanne is a minimum of a 2 hour drive for me. I keep going when I am able, hoping that I will have a truly happy shopping experience and Im always disappointed that I wasted the fuel. I really miss Hancocks.

I mean, I LOVE store like this. I could get lost for hours in here. 🤣Simply because I love arts and crafts and everything in this store haha. I know, its not for everyone, but for those of you that have arts & crafts hobbies, this store is a good place to pick up what you need.

I was the second customer at the check out. 30 minute wait for all the online possible coupons to be transacted.one cashier open and prices outragous. Not going to be a regular!

It was fine but didnt have what my mother was looking for. I got my acrylic paint but at a higher price than I get it at Walmart. No one in there but service was slow. The person in front of me tried to use an online coupon but wouldnt work on multiple higher priced items. Read the fine print.

Great place to buy storage containers. Found some that were made in the US. Also, you can buy online and pick up at the store; very convenient.

This store has an excellent selection of fabrics as well as craft items. The staff is super helpful. I was there looking for leather, and the woman directed me to a place where I could find it. The man as registers was also friendly and efficient.

Had a nice selection, however, I was here during the week at a not so busy time. Saw several staff, but not one offered any assistance. The woman who helped cut my material had a frown on her face the entire time, and it seemed like I was inconveniencing her. I could feel the impatience with my questions, but I was a newbie at what I was doing and with what I needed. I rarely feel this way at any store, but I definitely felt it there.

Fairly clean and pretty cramped store. Could use a better system for social distancing. Prices and sales were marked very well and staff was kind. Just very clustered

Do NOT waste your time going to this location or shopping online. Placed an order Wednesday and got a confirmation email for the order and the money was taken from my account. Got an email today that they canceled the order. You look online for products and it shows the store has them and when you get there they have NOTHING hardly for Cricut. I am sick of dealing with this store!! You have lost a customer for life JoAnns!!!

Only half of the employees in this store are wearing masks during a pandemic. No one is enforcing wearing masks during a pandemic. I have a right to go out and not be put in danger.

Smelled like an old pet store. It was a mess. Almost every isle was disgusting. I traveled almost 2 hours to come here because I heard great things but this location was just horrible.

I needed a replacement zipper and Joannes had a great variety and the exact size & color I needed!!

The cashier Chelsey was the rudest person Ive ever encountered from any cashier in my entire life. Rude, mean, and could care less about customer service. I will never return due to this altercation. Kindness goes along way, especially during these hard times. I hope management steps up and says something to her.

A total cluster most of the time making it hard to navigate a shopping cart through the tight aisles and crowded store. The sales seem great until you look at the regular prices of items and realize they are way overpriced and the sale price is really what the item should be sold for in the first place. Coupons are mostly worthless as everything is always on sale and the coupons can only be used on non sale items. Service is stupid slow.

Ive been in this particular JoAnns quite a few times now, and I love it. They carry the best crochet hooks, most every color of some of my favorite yarns, and they have very cute home decor. The staff are always very nice and friendly. Worth the trip!

They have every thing you need in the sewing and yarn department.

Prices have gone up. Selection has gone down. Friendly staff has turned unhappy and not helpful like they used to be. New management a few years ago maybe?

Poor selection of cross stitch patterns. No books, kits for beginners, though. I realize staff is busy, but theyre more like Scooge.

This store could use a little help. They seem to be pushing as much as possible into as small a space as possible with as few people as possible. They do have a decent selection but the staff were busy stocking and arranging the shelves when we were trying to check out. They were great once we told them we were up front waiting but it looked like others were just bypassing the register and walking out.

Love the great selection of many types of fabric and craft products, along with their regular specials, sales and discounting! This trip, were assisted in-store AND at the cutting table by a friendly and VERY knowledgeable gentleman - who provided fast and excellent service right at closing time!!

The most unhelpful employees I have ever experienced in my life!!! I asked twice for help finding what I was there to buy, after first looking on my own. The second girl sent me back to the same exact location I had just come from, instead of offering to show me exactly where it was. This store is obviously understaffed and I left empty handed. Off to Wal-Mart I go!

The store was absolutely disgusting. Smelled like rotten milk. I almost threw up in the aisle. The staff was cranky and rude and slow. They were not helpful at all. Chelsea at the fabric cutting counter seemed like she didn’t even know what she was doing. It was not worth the hour drive to get there.

The store in Wilmington, NC is a great store. The employees could use some customer friendliness, though. I was just there and not one person said good morning or even Hi to me. The cutting counter woman was annoyed when I asked for the coupon for the discount. Did not even say thank you for shopping at Joann’sI am in retail myself and I say hello to every customer that comes thru my register.This is not the first time this has happened. All the employees are the same. No one is friendly. They act like we are bothering them.I have a small craft business and buy a lot of supplies from Joann’s. Would like to know if I was welcomed in a store where I spend my money.I proceeded to go to Dunkin Donuts and she was very friendly.

Not only is this place WAY overpriced but the customer service is AWFUL. I asked and paid for 8 yards of fabric for table runners I was making for a bridal shower. When I started on my project I realized that they shorted me 2 yards! I To make things worse they werent apologetic whatsoever. The manager snatched the bag out of my hand without saying anything to me. Then proceeds to count the length of the fabric not once or twice but three times. I piped in on the 3rd time to assure her there was 6 yards and I paid for 8. Then she made a comment insinuating that I was trying to get free fabric because I cut the pieces for my project incorrectly. Wow! DO NOT go here. There is a much better selection at Hobby Lobby and their customer service is great. I will go to Walmart before I go back to this place.

Went in looking for a particular product and they showed me right where it was. Then I needed help with a project and I got good advice and help. Plus, was shown how to get a 20% off coupon before I got to the register. Awesome service!!

I love Joanns but wish it was a bigger craft store like Michaels or ACMoore

JoAnns is the same wherever it is located. Its the employees that make the difference. High turnover employment results in untrained employees. Knowing your customers needs and ability to answer questions makes a much better relationship with the store. This location is somewhat better than most.

I would be prepared to spend at least a half hour on the many lines in the store. The staff doesnt care how long people wait. I dont understand why people are writing reviews that address this but they are giving them more than one star. It wont change unless they are rated as poorly as they are. The staff is unapologetic about their pace. With no competition, I guess you take what you get.

Great craft store with lots of fabric, patterns, yarn, t shirts, beads, paints, brushes, floral stuff and great sales and coupons for every season. Even better to sign up and get coupons by mail and online.

One lady was too busy speaking with a customer/friend (totally unrelated to the store), after a few minutes she acknowledged me long enough to answer my question by sending me on a treasure hunt. I tried speaking with another associate because I was clearly lost in the store, and she seemed irritated. That was my first time shopping there, my first impression was not favorable.

Very impressive craft store if you are a cross stitcher. Not giving 5 stars because I have a pattern that requires a very large piece of aida cloth. Although they have the largest Ive found in store, it is not as big as I need. I was hoping they had a roll you could buy by the meter.

Came in during their extended holiday hours. Staff member by the front door looked at me as I walked in but did not greet me or ask if I needed help. Was not greeted by or even smiled at my any staff. No music was playing, very unwelcoming store. Walked out without buying anything.

Never very well lit. Limited on selections of crafts and the fabric is slightly pricey for what it is. Usually disorganized and hard to move up and down the isles. I barely ever go to this store.

I was sad to visit this store. Disorganized, dark, crowded. One employee was talking loudly about how important he was. Didnt make me feel like spending time or money there.

I love this place. However, on my last visit, the employees were actually making fun of a customer who had just left loudly enough that I heard it halfway across the store from them! It was bad enough, that I, not being a confrontational person, almost said something to them about it. Very rude and unprofessional.

I go mostly for the yarn and they have the best selection of any store in town

Wont be buying fabric from here again. Seems like 75% of the fabric we get is cut in half so you never get the full 44 width.

Joanns has some beautiful yarn and fabric.

I love the variety but the prices are crazy high compared to Hobby Lobby and Walmart.
