Went here today to look at some books. Great selection and friendly staff. I like the way the bookstore is laid out. The only negative is that the store is a little small so all the shelves are somewhat close together but other than that it has always been a joy going here and looking around.

I went there for metaphysical books and was not dissapointed! They have a huge selection of books, tarot cards, Almanacs, crystals, candles and other witchy things!

Huge selection of books in all quantities. The outside of your store should be made as special as your inside is wonderful. Looks like a dumpy outside and you are truly special inside.

Went to buy a few books the other day. Unfortunately I was inundated with anti-Trump books and toys. I was insulted by the anti American sentiment of the books/toys in the store. I returned all books and went to a store that doesnt hate our country and purchased them there.BTW there were NO anti-Biden or Harris materials there. So i dont want to hear that they treat both sides equally.

They were nice and helpful. I went with my family while i was visiting from out of town (nyc) and purchased a walking dead book i thought i didnt have. We got all the way back to NY only for me to realize i had that copy. About a week passed when i was finally able to mail it to my sister in law. She took it to them all the way from swans ferry and they still exchanged it for me. Even mailed my correct copy directly to me. Now that was above and beyond customer service. I will be sure to visit them again in the spring when we come back.

I love this books store but for the love of God CLEAN YOUR BATHROOMS AND REDsTOCK TOILET PAPER! Its like this EVERY time I come in here and thats like two days a week.

Customer Service was over the TOP, BOTH on the floor and at the register! My only problem was with the manner in which the Bible Section lacked decipherable organization, which not only challenge the Customer but the Customer Service personnel: ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY BOTH KNOW SPECIFICALLY IS THE SUBJECT OF THE SEARCH! I wanted options of The Amplified Bible, and found JUST two copies of ONLY ONE! In a city where Religious Bookstores have seemed to fade away, thats honestly a disappointing fact. I do, however appreciate the willingness of the Staff to assist in my search 💖☺️!

Literally everything that you could possibly want or need in a book store. Theyve got it all! And I carved out childrens book area that my five year old loves. There are many times that I have found new books or magazines here before they hit the shelves in other stores. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only gripe I would have is that they push the BAM memberships very adamantly. It is good to have if youre planning on shopping there several times a year. But if youre only going a few times, you dont need it. A very clean and organized business and personally preferred over Barnes and Noble.

Wonderful selection, but the bathrooms are a bit dirty. Not as big as Barnes & Noble, but more fandom items, collectibles and cool little items you may not find at Barnes. Definitely worth checking out if you live in town.

The books are always so beat up!!! That is such a pet peeve of mine. I’ve placed several orders for pick up and the books always have tattered covers and little rips on the spine. You hand pick these books for an order but don’t notice or care about the condition?If I’m paying for new books instead of buying used on eBay, then they should be in new condition. Especially when you are charging more than online retailers.Half of the time you can’t fulfill orders placed online anyway. One must ask themselves why not just order from Amazon? Why are you not updating your inventory regularly?Finding books in store is such a chore. Quite often the book I am looking for has been pulled from the shelf and is being displayed on a table with a thousand other books. I don’t want to have to scour the store or ask someone just to find what I want! Wait...is that how you get customers to browse?I go for the novelty of going into a physical bookstore because anyone who wants to save time and money will just order online from the big A and get their books in new condition, in 2 days.

If Im not careful, I would spend all my money here!

I went in to look for these really tiny reading glasses and they didnt have that many so Stephen took one of them scanned it to see if theres any in stock when theyre coming in he said he would call around to other stores he called me back and theyre going to send it to him so he can call me back so I can go back in the store excellent excellent customer service

I like to go to book stores as much as I love going to stationary stores/office supply stores. It inspires my creativity side and imagination. Books-A-Million does just that.I recently visited this location because I was not too happy about how Game of Thrones on HBO; especially now with season eight endings. I went to pick up the fifth book of Game of Thrones: A Dance with Dragons. Along with that I found a nice bookmark that was on clearance. This book mark is a metal clip that has the first initial of my first name and it clips on to the page; to bookmark it and save your last reading location.As with all other bookstores this one is quiet and peaceful with lots of cool nick-knacks, candy etc. Just a place to enjoy some quiet time and explore your own mind and thoughts. If you are having trouble with that I recommend this place to you plus they have CBD products at the register to kick ya in the right direction. I havent tried any of it but that is another whole world for me explore.Get a book, a magazine, toy, candy or just pop in to expand your mind and soul or to just be curious, either way the helpful and pleasant staff will help you graciously.

I really like BAM. I went in to find a pretty obscure book and got help immediately. They didnt have it in stock, but they ordered it and it will be sent to the house...free! Great stuff.

One of my favorite book stores in town! The staff is always really helpful. Most of.the time you can even find a good tabletop game while browsing too! They have benches in the back by the magazines, and a cute little coffee shop inside as well.

Today was my last day working at this great store. Everyone who works there has an amazing personality and is amazing at their job. They will find you any book you are looking for and will let you know if they dont sale it or when they will. I highly recommend shopping here.

Solid bookstore with a variety of books and novelty things. They are consistent and a fun diversion for a few with the family. It is somehow always a little cluttered and messy when I come in, which gives it a feel of being cheaper than it is, but its still quite nice.

Location is old and in need of a remodel. Cafe is good. Book selection is excellent. Staff is great for the most part. An interior remodel would make this a 5 star bookstore.

I always enjoy shopping there it is at a convenient location. But you have to pay for orders up front where there competitor does not so they do loose some business for that reason.

Somehow I randomly get issues with coupons occasionally and one time I had an issue where someone or an employee misplaced a sticker on another book that wasnt on sale. Working in retail I know people swap stickers to get cheaper prices. And while this was super awkward and I felt like I was under suspicion of this they did change the price for me and Ive always been helped with coupon issues. Im always greeted at the door and am helped when I need it. Relaxing atmosphere. Busy sometimes others its quiet. They recently moved everything around which Im not crazy about but its just a matter of figuring where my areas are at now. One thing I love about BAM is the discounted books section. I can always find a little gem for a cheap price in addition to my Rewards savings. Which is totally worth it in my opinion. I like the location of this store and the service compared to other BAMs. Just more cozy all around.

Very helpful staff. Located my book and it was the last copy. Didnt push the membership as hard as some places which was refreshing a casual mention with incentives is all thats required.

Books-A-Million is a great bookstore to visit when youre in the Wilmington area. They have the latest releases and they also have a good selection of bargain books. The people working in the store were very friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store!

The store has items any modern book store would have. The building is older and pretty run down. The employees are helpful sometimes. If you need a book, they have them. If you are wanting coffee and a fun atmosphere while browsing a bookstore, probably better trying somewhere else.

I like the store and location but the selection could be better or more organized. Books of the same series were in the right area but not all together so it is easy to miss stuff you are looking for.

Nice quiet bookstore with an amazing selection of books that is kept well organised. Staff seemed mostly friendly and were happy to let me just browse around. Really enjoyed how quiet it was inside. Only complaint is that books can be found cheaper elsewhere, particularly online sometimes.

Honestly I really enjoy this place. Its a wonderful atmosphere, but to be quite frank I just spent 2 hours of my morning, canceling 4 magazine subscriptions at the same time. I had to call my bank for charging me, then call one magazine help line, then finally reach the end goal of CANCELING thru a special partnership hotline since the lovely cashier straight up lied to me, saying Oh dont worry these magazines are absolutely free they will not be billing you later when in reality he was not being fully truthful how the stupid program worked and sure I understand its my fault for not asking enough questions about it so whatever.

Fun, clean store. It was easy to find the books I was looking for and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. I’ll be back often. Thank you
