Definitely go above and beyond with customer service.Im from the Northeast, and have rented a Perception Prodigy kayak (which I loved) from them for many summertime trips to Wrightsville Beach. They have always been attentive, pleasant, friendly and helpful.This year, I was looking to purchase that brand of kayak. I remembered that they sold rentals at the end of the season for a very reasonable price. I was fortunate to be able to purchase one. Chris was instrumental in this process. Thank you. So, off I drove to NC to bring it home.Dan (wearing a mask, which i appreciated in this time of COVID-19) helped me load it on my car, and made sure that it was secure for a 12 hour drive. He also voiced concern about the length of my return trip home and said that he would call the next day to check on my progress. He did in fact call the next day to check. To me, that is customer service at its finest....the sale already made, and stillgenuinely concerned about the customer.I absolutely recommend Hook, Line and Paddle for your water sport (kayak, SUP, etc)needs. They are THE BEST.

They claim they do tours but i asked about them several times trying to book one and they refused. i called, i came to the store in person and they told me not now i tried to ask when? and was told later tried to give them my info to contact me when it was avialable and they refused that too. so i just ended up renting a kayak. the kayak was a used out of date model of which the newest model sells for 500 dollars. it cost me 100 dollars to rent it for less than 24 hours. that is about the value of buying the kayak that i rented. all the kyaks for sale in the store are thousands of dollars and high quality and i just wanted to try one out befor i spent so much on one. this may be a great store to buy supplies but their rentals are a joke and they refused to take me on a guide.
