Mike of Mikes Mulch and Stone was a wonderful resource when it came to having a new driveway put down at our home. We contacted several companies to request quotes and he was the first to contact us, coming out the next day to give an in-person estimate. We werent exactly sure what we wanted and he made a great suggestion - blue slate gravel! He was able to get the job completed earlier than expected and we are already dreaming up plans that will involve another call to Mikes Mulch and Stone in the future. Great service and price!

Could not have been happier with the quality of this work. We had a beautiful stone patio and firepit installed which has completed transformed our backyard and outdoor lifestyle. Incredible workmanship!! The entire crew was so respectful of our property, and cleaned up at the end of each day. The lead on this job (Ritchie) was very communicative throughout the process which allowed for the job to flow smoothly, and to completely understand our vision for this space. Also, the owner (Mike) frequently stopped by to check in to make sure that all was going well. Such a great experience, and a pleasure to work with a team that are not only good at what they do, but fine human beings as well.

Truly outstanding! These guys are really artists.I dont know where to begin with my praise for Mikes, but I will try to keep this to the point. My wife and I contracted Mike and his outstanding, talented crew (Rich, TJ and Mikey) to do a retaining wall and a pool surround. Despite the terrible August weather, they struggled through week after week to see the project to completion. We are so happy with their work and with their professionalism and flexibility, that we have signed on with them for 3 more separate projects - a driveway, an outdoor fireplace, and a small patio.Not only were Mikes fees highly competitive, but the work that they do is extremely impressive to watch. My wife and I were not entirely sure what we wanted exactly, but Mike was very helpful and flexible in trying to create something beautiful that we would love. We even asked to change a significant aspect of the project midway and Mike went right along with it suggesting an option that turned out incredible. Rich, TJ, and Mikey went out of their way time and time again to keep the project neat and to keep the results at the standard of excellence that they have set for themselves - even redoing a section that they were not happy with even though we thought it was fine.I will most definitely be calling Mike again for additional projects and I strongly recommend them to others.

These guys are awsome! I frequent Mikes Mulch quite often for work and I could go on all day about how wonderful these guys are. They are so welcoming, always smiling, smart, hard working and they are the best at what they do. I wouldnt go anywhere else! We are constantly there for mulch, to get rid of yard debri, stone, sand. They even deliver and their qualifications stretch far beyond what Ive mentioned. Stop in say hey you wont leave disappointed. Love these guys!

You cant beat their prompt and friendly service. Plus, they are always ready with a helping hand. Ladies, these are gentlemen. You will be treated with respect at this place. Every time we have ordered pine straw, gravel mulch or pine bark mulch the truck has come either the same day or the next. Very efficient - with always a call ahead to confirm delivery. Yard debris can be dropped off at their site for only $2 a bag. That sure beats going to the land fill. Cant say enough good things about Mikes Mulch!

Ive had great experiences with them. Ive found their prices to be reasonable and even had them drive all the way up to Jacksonville NC to deliver some rock because the people up there were too expensive. Even after the sale, Sam was very helpful in working with me to track down an invoice. These guy are top notch and Ill use them again.

Just had some brick laod by my house entrance with a path to my backyard gate. These guys did a great job. They knew what they were doing and got the job done. The price was very fair, too. I would recommend this company.

It was a horrible experience not the delivery he was very polite everything went well until his driver backed over and broke the rebar and would of my landscapingI told him about it nothing was done then the guy came again it made me think he ran over it but in actuality it was just from the original time that he had done it nothing it ever been resolvedI think OK who know this and be kind and polite about it instead he yells at me accuses me of trying to double havent fix it and when I said I and the loyal customer do you want to lose my business over this Im spent hundreds of dollars he hung up the phone it was a person named SamI am in shock I never been treated like this by a business that I was loyal and good too I wasnt trying to pull anything I just wanted to get my board replaced its like 2530 bucks in the rebar
