John and his crew did an excellent job for us. His attention to detail was superb. True craftsman. He adjusted the design to accommodate light switches and plugs along the way. He made suggestions which were excellent and did not charge for the little extras.He works very cleanly and am highly recommending his services to all our neighbors and friends. We love our office and closets.

Closet & Things was the best decision we have ever made with a contractor. When we bought this new home, we wanted co customized our closets, add pull out drawers in the kitchen and bath, add cabinets to the laundry room and pantry.What we flound after receiving 4 bids that Closet & Things was the only company that made the cabinets themselves and truly customized to your space. The other companies buy from outside vendors and than install, which makes then fit existing products to your space rather than making cabinets to fit your space. Closets & Things also takes a third person out of the mix when it comes to pricing. A great example of this is the pull out drawers for the Kitchen. One company told me that nobody could provide them for under $150.00 each. That was because he was buying from a third party and reselling. Closets & things provided them for less that 1/2 of that with a much higher quality product which they manufactured themselves.Long story made short. This is the company to go with if you need need cabinet or closet customization. From design, to manufacture, and their willingness to do anything to make you happy, as well as their more than competitive price is superior to any in the Wilmington, NC area. John, Susannah, and Bruce ( the team that worked on our project, Thanks for a superior job!!!!!!!!!

They instilled an office closet system in 2014 that we love. It is an odd shaped asymmetrical closet and they installed a system with shelves and file drawers. When we needed the system removed after a flood in December John removed it the next day and packed it safely! This morning he returned since our new flooring was just finished and he re-installed the system.Great service and workmanship.

I could not recommend Closets and Things more strongly! John did absolutely beautiful work during our recent renovation, and we couldnt be happier. While the solid wood cabinets we have in the house were in good shape, the doors were old, tired, and well out of date. Changing out the doors and drawer fronts jumped the room from blah to beautiful, and the under cabinet lighting they added was the perfect finishing touch. Everyone I know thinks I got new custom cabinets made!

When I saw the article in the Star News about Closets and Things, I knew this was the group I wanted to work with, and they certainly proved my choice a good one. I had thirty years of stuff packed into a 15-foot-long closet that ran through the middle of my house . No one really saw it but me, but it was starting to make me feel strangled. I made a wish list of what I wanted, and they custom-built a closet just for my needs. Sue Van Note did a beautiful job designing it, and John Pollock executed her design impeccably. The workmanship is wonderful. They always showed up when they said they would. Everything about working with them was a pleasure, so much so, that now I have them re-surfacing all my kitchen cabinets. I cant recommend them too highly.
