I’ve been looking for lighting for a while and stopped in here. First, the sales people didn’t stalk me or try to push me into finding something, I LOVED that. Asked if I needed help, I said no, I was just looking for “right thing” and he said, okay, I’ll be right over here if you need me. PERFECT! And, appreciated! Great selection at reasonable prices. Better than most stores I’ve visited. I’ll most likely go back to them for my lighting Needs. I hate being badgered and held hostage by sales people. It was also pretty busy for a lighting store. Most I’ve been in I’ve either even the only one or saw one other person. I had to park in back and there were several people inside. Good sign!

I have had the opportunity to work with Robbin King at Bayside Lighting and Design Center on a number of lighting projects. Chris went above and beyond. In a bind and needed a light fixture ASAP. Rather than making me wait for it to be delivered, he took one off the display for me. Excellent options and the prices are competitive.

Had an appointment today with Nicole to pick fixtures and ceiling fans for our new home. Great experience! Nicole was very knowledgeable and made the process pretty easy.We probably went a little over budget but Hey!! When your picking your forever house thats to be expected !!

This state of art lighting show room is amazing! It took my breathe away. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Cant believe that such a beautiful store opened up in Wilmington. I like to see and touch my purchases before I buy. Also like to do face to face business with local people. Internet shopping cant replace local customer service in my book. Great job Bayside Electric!!

Beautiful lighting store. I was shocked because the outside is not an accurate indicator of the inside. High quality selection and affordability at all price points.

Ordered light fixtures for our new home. One of the selling points on using Bayside was that they would do a walk through of our home to make sure everything was correct, # of lights, sizes etc. Get our order in, missing a light and foyer light was too big. Fans wrong color too. Turns out, no walk through was ever done. According to rep she drove to our house but couldnt get in. I told her there werent locks on the doors at that time, and she backtracked and said she was looking at the wrong folder. Over a week since our original order came in, and we still dont have the replacements for everything. Mistakes happen, but it should not take so long to get replacements. (Especially when I can go order the exact same thing online and get in 2 days - which we should have done in the first place.) Go somewhere else, save money, and a headache.
