Been going there since it’s inception. Always fresh, quality food. Staff is very efficient, hard working n friendly. In all these years, I never experienced a problem with them.
Food is outrageously delicious and the portions are amazing. Fabulous family vibe plus great service. One of our favorite places to eat at when we go to Staten Island.
Ill probably never eat there again only because I was passing through and we saw a diner and we hit it stop was awesome Hostess was awesome the food was freaking incredible I got a turkey club the turkey was fresh turkey not processed

We were having dinner at Andrew’s. My husband ordered a pastrami sandwich as always. This time I guess he forgot to say lean. When he got the sandwich it was the way most people eat it. Not my husband. The manager seen him struggling to take off every bit of fat. Asked if he could be of some help. He told him and the manager quickly took the plate and brought him out lean pastrami. We were so happy that the manager cared enough to make it enjoyable for my husband. Thank you

The roast beef smelled like cat food and dry. Waitress favoried regular customer over us. Prices went sky high. Not worth it. SadlyBecause I remember when they would be the only diner I liked on S.I.

I have been dining at Andrews Diner for years but in a last year or so service became worth and worth. Calling ordering for pickup put on hold 4 times 6 minutes each time. No other place treats customer this bad.
Never returning to this establishment after the treatment my guest and I experienced. The first time I had a negative experience here, the server I had just seemed like not wanting to be bothered and made it obvious. That said, I decided to give them another chance. The second time I returned, my guest and I were seated at a section with just tables, opposite the side of the restaurant where the booth seating is. Our server started off as friendly and kind upon taking our orders. My order was supposed to have coleslaw brought out prior to my sandwich and was never brought out. The server let us know she was apologetic because she was really busy and we were very understanding. After waiting a while, she brings out our orders and forgets a part of my order. When asked if there would be anything else, I responded just the rest of my order and we’re ok. After bringing out what she forgot, my guest and I proceed to start our meal and catch up after not seeing each other for a while. Not long after, I notice that the room we were seated in had cleared out and we were the last guests on that side of the restaurant. The server stood not far from where we sat and just stared at us. I then noticed three other staff members starting at us giving off a strange vibe. As the other server leaves the restaurant, our server says out loud something along the lines of “I’m right behind you as soon as I’m done here” and then looks at me after saying it. Clearly wanting to be heard by my guest and I. Apparently, she wanted to leave and we were holding her up. I then ask her “what time does the restaurant close?” She responds saying “typically around 8:45 they start closing the kitchen and close up at 9”. Mind you, it was around 8:15 at this point and the other side of the restaurant had plenty of guests. I said “ok, we’ll take the check”, got up with my guest, paid our bill and left. Like I said, this is the second time a server at this restaurant gave unprofessional and unacceptable customer service. To have that kind of demeaning attitude towards customers willing to give your establishment a second chance during a hard time for businesses is not ok. As for the food, subpar, nothing special. Management needs to be aware of how their staff are treating their guests who’ve done nothing to deserve this kind of experience. This was a second chance I gave them and will never return.
Had the mussels fra diavolo (with scallops & calamar) topped off with some spaghetti & garlic. Out of this world... All thanks to Gus and Olga..
Family owned place with great quality food and friendly staff... weve been eating here for years and never got disappointed by our meal 😃

I think Andrews is one of the worst diners I was ever in I asked for well done bacon came out raw I asked for sunny side up yoke was broken on both eggs the home fries were the worst they had absolutely no taste to them at all there are so many diners on Staten Island that are a lot better
We ordered on seamless, the order was quick which is positive. However, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM ON SEAMLESS OR GRUBHUB. They are incapable of handling substitutions and I’m only glad I didn’t have a substitution related to an allergy issue thank god!I had called to make a small adjustment to have a dressing substituted, very simple. There was no option to add a note for the order. Took a bit to speak to the girl working and she didn’t seem like she could be bothered. Begrudgingly she took the adjustment, yet did not make the change! She had also recommended I reach out to seamless to make a note on the order... despite her going to be reviewing it in a few minutes. I did and they failed to get her on the phone...

Over the Last few years Andrews has become our go to place. Great food employees and owners. During COVID getting take out has become a thing we do at least once a week. Ive never been disappointed.
This is the first time I have been back to Andrew since Covid hit and it was not a disapointment... the staff was just as nice as they always were and the food was still excellent.. cant wait to go back again
I have been dining at Andrews for years and not once have I EVER been disappointed. From the grilled calamari salad to the neptune wrap to the veggie panini.......I could go on and on!!!! They are in my opinion one of the best if not THE best diners on the island.
Best diner by far on Staten Island best soups those portions taste everything you can’t beat it spinach pie delicious, portions are unbelievable.I’ve never tasted anything off the menu that was not superb give them a try

After coming here for close to 20 years, last night was my first dine-in restaurant attempt during this pandemic. Andrews was my go-to place prior to pandemic so it was a natural choice that I trusted George, his son and the staff to take all the necessary measures. Tables were well distanced, hand sanitizer on tables, staff was properly wearing masks, partition up at register, all the right things to protect both the public and themselves. Now is the time to support our local businesses, as our comfort allows. I was comfortable and glad to have been part of Andrews 25% capacity yesterday.

This family run business has been contributing to the community for many years and we have been eating there and taking out from this restaurant for many years. I can’t remember the last time we had something that we did not like and the staff is always friendly and greets you with a cheerful smile.

The worst diner experience I ever had. Ordered a cheeseburger deluxe and I guess I had my hopes up too high no cheese. Asked please no onions in the chili low and behold extra onions coming right up. No condiments forks or spoons and definitely wasnt expecting napkins at this point. Should have just went to McDonalds.

Best diner on the island. The owner and his family do everything they can to make you part of their family. Great portions at fair prices. The Broiled Fishermans Platter is always as fresh as can be and delicious. All the regular diner fare with Greek specialties as well. Cant go wrong!

Normally I always choose Andrews. Tonight I ordered my girlfriends favorite, chicken franchese over rice with a french onion soup on the side to split. After hearing the total, I was kind of taken back. $28.25 for a meal. The entree itself was considerably downsized, normally 5 large pieces of chicken and a ton of rice. Tonight? 3 small pieces of chicken and one serving of rice...for 2 people. This would be fine if I didnt just spend $28.25 for the meal plus tip for the driver. It wasnt even hot. Warm at best. I always loved going to Andrews and ordering as well. But after this experience and my last in-diner experience, Im not sure how often Ill be spending my money here.

Best diner on Staten Island. Great breakfast. Gigantic delicious omelets. Dinner is special with a full selection including fish. No restaurant even at twice the price broils fish better. In more than two decades we have never had a bad meal.

One if not the best diners Ive ever been in.We go here or order from here at least once a week. Food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious, prices are really good. You can get a full course meal for 20$, the owners are very nice as well.
We go to Andrews often over the last 13 years. Love breakfast. Egg ehoe omelet same price as regular. Great coffee. No extra charges, where other dinners would charge. Large portions. I always take home fir lunch. Very friendly. Great service. 5 stats. Never disappointed.

Andrews is probably the best diner Ive been to, both on the island, and off. My favorite is the steak salad, which always has huge portions and is enough for three meals. My son loves the Greek Platter which comes with more than enough to feed him for two days. The service is always friendly as well. My only difficulty sometimes is the lack of parking which cant really be controlled, as that lot does get very full at times. But thats just a very minor quibble.
The Greek salad with grilled chicken & the Pastrami are Excellent.
